They are a customer driven shop and were very helpful when going thorough the process of dealing with the insurance company. The work they do is very good and provided me with a Life Time Warranty on the paint and bodywork. I would highly recommend; and lastly if your a car guy like me you never know what youll see from the cool project builds they do for NFab and local dealerships.

The Collision Lab has done body work for every car in our household, for the past 7 years. The owner of the body shop has always kept us updated on our car repair status along the way, and hes always been very prompt to respond to any of our phone calls or texts when we have any questions. If you need auto body work, I would highly recommend this shop and no repair that we have ever brought to this shop has ever been too big or too small. Customer service and quality of work is excellent! They always return our cars to us looking like brand new!

My overall experience with The Collision Lab can only be described as nothing less than a nightmare. I took my vehicle into the Collision Lab after a wreck and was introduced to the owner, Guy. Long story short, I received my vehicle after about two weeks and everything appeared to be in order. This was the first of four times I would have to bring back my vehicle in attempts to get the front bumper repaired correctly. The bumper literally fell off of my vehicle shortly after picking up the vehicle for the first time. After two more trips of brining the vehicle in it appeared to finally be fixed. The fix lasted a few months and the entire front bumper began to fall off my vehicle again. I reached out to Guy (owner of the Collision Lab) and he agreed to fix the bumper again. I picked up the vehicle and the bumper was clearly still not fixed. I then decided to take my vehicle into another repair shop to have it independently inspected to determine the root cause of the issue. I was shocked, as well as the new repair shop, to learn the bumper was missing key parts that were NEVER installed and also that zip ties were used to try and attach the bumper to my vehicle. The zip ties were used to attach the bumper to my power steering line, which the shop informed me was incredibly dangerous. The new repair shop could not believe what had been done to my vehicle and informed me it was not safe. I reached out to the Collision Lab to see what could be done, and this is when Guy and his team decided to go silent and stop responding. If you are reading this, please do not go to the Collision Lab, I firmly believe this is the worst auto shop in Houston. I have never written a google review before, but I felt so wronged by Guy and his team that I decided to do so. Ive included pictures of the work to my vehicle after the fourth time it was sent back to Guy. Please do not give these people business and go somewhere else, trust me. The pictures speak for themselves...….

I had Collision lab install some aftermarket lights on my pickup truck. Everything looked good when I picked up the truck, lights functioning, I thought all was great. Couple days later it rained and thats when the trouble started. The system short circuited and smoke came up from my drivers side floorboard. I pulled the carpet up just in time to see wires melting. I cut the wire and saved my truck from going up in flames. After further review of the jack-wagons wiring job, he was connecting the wires using electrical tape and hadnt fused the circuit setting me up for a huge fire. Not only that, he poked a hole under my car and water was getting in because his electrical tape job was coming off. Total joke of a job. My 19 year old saw it and laughed saying even HE knows how to do a better job.His beard color and unprofessional attitude should have scared me away.

So I’ve been debating on whether or not I was going to leave a review for these guys. And I’ve decided I’m going to share my story to try and maybe help other people from making the mistake of choosing this “business” for their repairs. My husband and I were on our way back home from our honeymoon when we got into a pretty bad accident on the freeway. Our tow truck driver towed our car to a vacant lot, so that way we could try and figure out what to do and where to take our car. Both my husband and I were just in a very traumatic experience and kinda just wanted to go home, mind you our home was over 1000 miles away in Tucson, Arizona. The tow truck driver definitely took advantage of that. The “vacant lot” he parked in, turned out to be right across the street from The Collision Lab. The shop that he worked at! Dang, what are the chances of that!? He then proceeded to tell us that if we used his shop, they would completely take care of us. No storage fees would be charged, and they would give us screaming deals on repairs. We told him that it could be a month or two by the time we would be able to make the trip back to Houston to pick the car up, he reassured us that it didn’t matter how long the car was there, they would take care of us completely. So we went through them to have repairs made, it seemed like a perfect thing!... Until, my insurance messed up and sent me the repair check instead of The Collision Lab. I spoke to a man that worked there named Byron, and explained to him what happened and my concerns about giving them the entire payment without knowing if my vehicle was actually repaired because we live so far away (we can’t just stop back in if repairs weren’t done properly). We then agreed on 50% payment upfront and the remaining payment + deductible upon pick up the first week of January. A week after this agreement, the owner Guy began harassing me almost daily about payments, had his employees texting and calling me threatening me if I didn’t make the payment they would charge me $20 a day for storage after promising me there would be absolutely no storage fees. So I paid him the remaining money, minus my deductible. We agreed deductible would be paid upon pick up. 3 days later, he demands my deductible WITHOUT REPAIRS BEING COMPLETED. I told him I was not comfortable with paying my deductible without knowing my car was fixed. A day later I get a call from my insurance telling me The Collision Lab found “hidden damages”. It was very convenient that those “hidden damages” were found a day after my deductible was demanded from me. Even my insurance company said it seems like they’re just trying to get extra money out of the situation. The owner Guy was absolutely the rudest most misogynistic man I have ever spoken to in my life. I do not understand how a business like this is still running. And this last bit is just the icing on the cake. So it was about the end of January / beginning of February when my husband made the trip back to Houston to pick up our car. When he returned, I looked through my car and noticed very important and expensive items we’re missing out of my car. I called The Collision Lab and spoke to Byron and told him that things we’re missing out of my car, he got very defensive and told me that they don’t take anything out of vehicles and my car was a disaster on the inside when they got it so I probably just lost it.He then called me back 5 minutes later and told me that a number of “valuable looking” items were removed from my car for safe keeping. He told me he would mail them over to me immediately. It’s been 2 months, and nothing Ive received nothing. I got a call about 2 weeks ago letting me know that they had gotten busy and haven’t gotten around to mailing my items yet.So long story long, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE THIS GOD AWFUL PLACE FOR ANYTHING. What they put me and my family through makes me sick to think about. Worst experience of my life.

I went to the collision lab after a friend of a friend recommended them. I was having issues with a finder flare after a minor wreck and they said that it would be no problem to reattach. I went to pick my truck up after a week ( was supposed to take 2 days “max”) and I could tell right away that something was off. I made it 3 days before the finder flare fell off IN THE MIDDLE OF I-10. I nearly caused a wreck due to their poor standard of work. I didn’t even bother taking it back to them. After reading other reviews I’m glad I didn’t. I will never use them again and encourage anyone else to avoid them all together.

I will NEVER have repairs done at Collision Lab again. It took almost two months for them to completely repair my vehicle after a minor accident. After almost two weeks, I called to check to see if my vehicle was ready, and they stated it would be ready the next day. I took time off work to go pick up my vehicle, and drove off the lot to discover that it had not been aligned. I took it back and also noticed that instead of repairing my wheel with a company that specializes in wheel restoration, as indicated on the estimate, they tried to do it themselves (I assume to save money). I stated I wanted the wheel done correctly. Byron stated it would be ready in two days as the wheel place picks the wheel up and brings it back within 24 hours and that they would be able to easily align it afterwards. I called two days later and he stated it would be ready on Monday of the next week. I called on Monday and he stated it would be ready on Tuesday, because the Dealership was going to have to align it (due to some technology they had). I finally received my car about a week later, and they didnt even align it at the dealership but at another place. After I gave my car a wash, I found they had left a rubbing compound on my bumper that I could not take off. In addition, my car was still NOT properly aligned, and the wheel was still rough in several spots. Byron stated they could return the wheel, but at this point I could not take any more time to allow them to correct their carelessness and lack of consideration for my time. I understand another company did the work, but they should ensure the work is done correct prior to telling me the vehicle is ready. I had to once again take time off work to go and have them remove the compound, which should have been done in the first place. Next, Byron stated they would have to get the alignment done at the dealership (although this is what they shouldve done originally). I took more time off work to pick up the check from Collision Lab, and drop my car off and pick it up from the dealership. I then find out that the insurance paid them more money than what the alignment cost, and Byron stated that is just for shop charges and the way things are done. I called the insurance company and they stated the additional money is for the time and work done to deliver and pick up the car from the dealership to have it aligned. I was incredibly upset by this, because I was the one who took the time to take my car and drop it off and pick it up, and yet the Collision Lab gets to keep this money for doing nothing. Instead they just spent weeks and weeks giving me the run around and trying to pacify me by telling me what I wanted to hear. I was in an accident that was not my fault and I end up having to pay out of pocket for the repairs and have to make at least 4-5 trips to the Collision Lab because they forgot to align the vehicle, and still didnt align it correctly the second time because they took it somewhere other than the Dealership even though Byron told me beforehand that it needed to be taken to the Dealership. They tried to cheaply fix my wheel on my brand new vehicle and I guess hoped I wouldnt notice the shoddy job they did. And finally, the fender was not placed back into perfect place. This is a small thing, but again just adds to the laundry list of mistakes and poor service. I asked to speak with the owner, Guy, on at least 10 different occasions and called repeatedly, but he was never there or would not speak to me because he was busy. I asked Byron to tell him to call me back but he never did. I would not recommend taking your car to be fixed here. They merely told me what I wanted to hear and never called to give updates, and led me to believe my car was ready, on more than one occasion, when it was nowhere close to being in drivable condition. I gave them plenty of chances to resolve all of these issues without giving a negative review, but I guess they didnt want to listen.
