Ive been a long time fan of Sunny Roads, as have many of my clients. Rafael and all staff are amazing. Very friendly and always ready to help. They have a wonderful selection of fabrics to select from. Always great unexpected finds with lighting, furniture and accessories also. The quality of their work and craftmanship when it comes to upholstery and wood finishing/repairs is superb!! We are excited to see the current order of chairs upholstered by Sunny Roads.

We loved our experience with Sunnyroad and will definitely be back as we continue to settle into a new home and work more on our decorating. One of my pet peeves with most design stores is the air of pretentiousness among the staff and that can even translate into the style, selections, and prices of what they offer. Sunnyroad is the happy exception to this! Their store and staff are inviting and personable while being tastefully organized wall to wall with excellent fabric choices, design examples, and surprising little finds. It was hard to leave the store because I wanted to browse every corner and touch every fabric swatch (SO many gorgeous fabric examples).Rafael and Laura know their stuff and still they are so kind and personable. If you’re looking for great fabrics for reupholstering this is a great spot. The staff is friendly and takes their time to work with you. They help to guide you and show exactly what options you have. The custom work looks amazing as well.

Cannot say enough positives about Rafael and Sunnyroad Interiors. We loved our old chair, but didnt think it would be right for our remodel, but we still wanted to keep it. Had never had anything reupholstered in the past. Stopped by Sunnyroad and was so impressed not only with the selection but how orderly the samples were. Found this bold yellow print - which ended up being perfect and exactly what I wanted. I was a little nervous while I waited thinking maybe it was too yellow, but am over the top happy with not only the color but the incredible workmanship. Add to that, Rafael stayed true to his promised completion date. A little hard to see the piano bench, but he recovered that too. I could not have purchased this chair, ottoman, and piano bench for anywhere close to what it cost to reupholster. Rafael - you are a ROCK STAR!!! Thank You!

I had a terrific experience working with Laura @ Sunnyroad. She helped me redecorate my bedroom and newly rearranged seating area. She designed 2 custom ottomans in a yummy crushed pink velvet, reupholstered my great grandmothers chair in a cute matching pattern and a light and fresh looking tweed fabric for 2 tufted club chairs for my new seating area. She was a tremendous help having my draperies repaired that were damaged from Hurricane Harvey as well. Laura is extremely creative and a great deal of fun to work with.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING STORE! The STAFF IS FABULOUS and built me the more gorgeous stools. If you have an idea they can make it for you. They are so talented but their hearts are pure gold! If I could give 10 stars I would.

Prices on fabric were pretty expensive, lighting in store was poor, making details hard to see and most bolts were unlabeled. Nice parrot though.

I love my reupholstered chairs! Rafael and Laura were great in helping me pick out fabric that would work with my decor. The workmanship on the chairs is impeccable. I chose a fairly busy pattern and both chairs look exactly the same i.e. the same part of the pattern is in the same part of the chair on both. i definitely will use them again. An added bonus - they completed the chairs early!!

While he has an amazing selection of fabrics, he advised us to purchase fabric at a competitor’s shop and bring it to him to ensure the job was completed fast. He recommended new foam for our disintegrating seats and he was right. The final job is gorgeous, super comfy and we couldn’t be more pleased! It was completed on time as promised. Rafael and his craftmen did a wonderful job on my old chair and ottoman. Rafael saw me in the store with a fabric sample and took the time to find 10 yards even though it had been discontinued. The upholstery work is excellent and the fabric pattern is matched to perfection. They picked up my furniture three days after I was in the store and returned it to me ten days later. I would recommend them to everyone!

I dreaded reupholstering our two living room chairs....I wanted them to not only look good, but also be comfortable. From the minute I walked in, Rafael worked with me from pictures on my phone and fabric swatches I had collected from weeks of searching. When I finally delivered my chairs to the store it was almost time for them to close, but he and Laura stayed late talking through every detail with me from cushion size, fill, and how well my fabric would breathe. On top of that, they finished my chairs (with no added rush fees) in time for a party at my house the following week. Working with them was like working with friends who actually cared about my project. I highly recommend Sunnyroad and will use them again.

Horrible. I would not recommend them to anyone. First off, they are overpriced and he says he is giving me a big discount. Brought in an old chair. I had my own fabric as well. He said it would cost $700 and that was at supposedly half the price. I paid $500 in cash ( I had a balance of $270 remaining).it took him 4 months to finally get it done. They dont return phone calls. Then he calls me up ladt week and says that I dont owe him anything because he made a video of my upholstery. Then when I get there he wants to charge me double of what my balance was! Really! And really didnt appreciate the comment, oh so your gonna play that game. Rip off!!!!

People say this place is a Rip Off and they are Right!! I had something that I wanted to custom built for them and had an original quote. I decided to pay them in installments and over time thinking that they would work on the project. The original person that quoted me the price was not there and apparently fired for stealing money so the end result the cost of the couch costed me double the amount of the original price. I ended up having the couch redone a few year later and another upholstry person said that cushions were cheaply made. When youre at the mercy of this place it would be too much hassle to go to small claims court or legal actions. So I tell all of you this because IT SUCKS TO BE RIPPED OFF. Read this post and save yourself the hassle. Youre better of buying at a retail store a name brand couch, because I could have paid that price if I had the money for a nice couch, but when you pay in installments it maybe easier at first but in the end you really cant get screwed. Do research on the upholstry place first or just save the money to buy the couch at the retail store. Just letting everyone be aware!
