10/21/21Unfortunately, lately, prices in their foodservice area have significantly increased in a matter of days, not weeks. Understandably, the supply chain problems have affected a lot of consumer goods, and as a frequent customer, I can appreciate this. Other stores have compensated for their increases in different, creative ways. Not sure why they havent. To simply raise bento prices by $1 or $2, is actually pretty ridiculous and shows a lack of vision. They have had a good following of seniors, construction workers and price conscious repeat eaters. Im one of them there at least four times a week. I really wish they would have done it in increments or at least warn us so we could plan our lunch and dinner budgets. I, and many others I often see there, want to stay loyal, but why bother when my Amazon membership gives me better deals at Whole Foods, with better quality. One of the best deals, Times Unagii Bento, that used to sell out, jumped a whole $1 - overnight, to $9.99. Myself and another regular commented about the jump in price, and the noticeably reduced portions. Customers arent stupid.. We both put it back down, browsed a little more, and left the store. Pretty sad to shock your loyal customers that way. I thought it was a neighborhood type store but not getting that feeling lately. Hence, the 3 stars - was 4. Im pretty sure more customers will jump somewhere else, if they havent already. There are other deals in the Kahala area, if you hunt. Stay tuned if Times actually takes the time to communicate and show they care to their loyal customers. At least offer helpful alternatives. Let us know how long these prices will last, etc. Need feedback from your customers? Ask! Servers there are still friendly and helpful, thank goodness. Upper management, I dunno!4/10/21I frequent the foodservice area here about 3 - 4 times a week. Ill browse and buy something at least half the time. Its been, especially during Covid, a pretty good value. Its evident by the crowds you see if you go as often as I do. Theyve evolved from regulars to seniors, military and construction workers. Its also reasonable enough where people can afford to go more than once a week.Sunday, I had a portion of Pot Roast for $7.99. Ample serving, tender, good proportion of potatoes and carrots, and a whole lotta beef, sliced like how its supposed to be, and not in chunks. I also had a quick tuna salad for $4.99.They have a daily plethora of hot bentos and cold poke bowls or sushi trays. You can get a complete bento or ala carte your lunch and dinner. You just have to search and shop smartly here. There are a number of options to keep yourself healthy and happy. The grab and go sandwiches are a pretty good value too, especially the hero subs - gigantic! My favorite is the Passion Turkey Sandwich. Have that with a bag of chips or a side of slaw.Will post more pics as I go but absolutely worth giving a try. The value is definitely there in these challenging Times. Oh, and dont forget the Sumo Breakfast and try the Chorizo Hash. Its outta bounds!3/23/21: The Unagi Bento is off the hook! Easily, one of the best deals in town at $8.99. It flies off the counter as soon as it gets to the counter. I keep telling them to put more out cause its money!! And couldnt resist a portion of Roast Turkey with gravy and cranberry sauce! Where else can you get your turkey fix on a Tuesday.3/26/21A plethora of choices!3/27/21Where else in the Kaimuki / Kahala area can you get good, authentic tasting Japanese side condiments. Hijiki and Yasai Takiawase.4/10/21Theyve just stared taking appointments for the J&J vaccine. Awesome sauce! 🤙4/16/21Seafood counter has pretty good stuff at periodically good prices when fish is at a high $$$. Staff is always accommodating.

I love it that they open at 5 am. just as I take my friend to work. Gail is very personable and cheerful at checkout. She helps me bag the groceries. I like their broccoli crunch and wish they made more of it.

Lots of selection and way less than other markets nearby like whole food. Friendly staff and safe location.

Went to buy poke on Saturday Sept 11, the employee working behind the fish counter was Michael. He was wearing black gloves and cleaning the sink. We asked for help and when he finished cleaning the sink, he then picked up a rag and wiped the display place glass on his side. He then asked what we wanted, we told him poke. Without first taking his wet, dripping gloves off he grabbed the container and then got us our 2 containers of poke. At one point his gloved thumb was barely Inside the container. He then grabbed the cover with his other gloved hand and gave us our poke containers. After what we witnessed, we were afraid to eat the poke so I talked to one of the managers/supervisor. Forget her name, but she was very professional and took care of the situation. Personally, replaced our poke and talked to the employee. This review is not to condemn the employee but to praise the manager/supervisor.

A busy Supermarket it is. If you take the Waialae offramp heading east, at the traffic light or 21rst Avenue Times Supermarket will be visible on the right. This store has been in this location over 20years. A constant flow of customers throughout the day. Upon as you enter the produce department is there to greet you following the Seafood Department. Continue counterclockwise the meat department and a Full Service Pharmacy located directly in the back center of the store. A full service deli to serve with a wide assortment of bakery goods right next door. Customer Service now fronts the 8 aisle of cash registers all performing their duties safely behind a shield. Never had a problem with inventory always seemed well stocked. We shop here at least 2x month, I would recommend this place to shop!

Awesome place to get local food at, didnt like how narrow the isles are. Makes it too uncomfortable to walk around

Times has been a staple in Kahala ever since. Great place to buy that missing ingrediant, get some poki, or dessert for a party.

Bring my Aloha shirts & dress slacks to Brandy @ Al Phillips for dry clean & laundry. Then pickup hot lunch with 2 pounds fresh poke, vegetables and fruits. Stopping every now and then Macys for Gio, miss you Pomai.God Bless with Aloha now teaching Autistic children, awesome symbol of academic achievement.

Love shopping at Kahala and Waimalu TIMES there selection is always fresh.

Super friendly customer service!!Had my lunch break here bought be a large steak plate. Came outside ate it in the work truck, not knowing I had dropped my wallet outside of were I was parked at smh.5hrs later I’m realizing I don’t have my wallet with me. So I’m freaking out and stressing at the same time. Literally drove back and forth from job site to job site looking all around the site if I dropped this wallet somewhere on the property.....Took me awhile to remember careful and better.So I figured to call times and see if they got a report of a lost wallet.Sure enough.....The front desk lovely caring lady said yes...we have a wallet that fits your description...yeah I was in Pearl city at the time. Once I heard the good news I jumped in the truck and was heading towards Times Kahala as soon as I can.Pulled up and went straight to the “customer service” booth. The lady that answered my call about the wallet was there to give it to me....This made me so happy and I really appreciated her and that person whoever turn it into the store. Made me realize more that there are good people in this world and I hope we can continue on with this!♥️Much Mahalos!

Parking lot is congested & need to be cautious of elderly crossing. I love their deli section with a wide variety of selections & my fave is the ribs! However the employees are not that helpful, especially the ones at self check out. Asian girl there today was abrupt & was dancing around store! :/i looked at her name tag by it was faced backwards.

I moved here in 2000. I used to treat Times as the place to go when in the vacinity. But, since the pandemic, my life has been a bit difficult. And this store has proven to be the hometown store I needed. The hot foods are delicious, convenient and a great deal for your money. The groceries and freshly baked goods are surprising, up to date and will stocked. The customer service is the most amazing feature. The people at Times are kind, courteous, professional and always willing to put in 200% every time. I now walk with a cane. I cant begin to describe the feeling when a cashier or clerk offers to help. Thank you, Times for all your hard work and dedication to your community. You go the extra mile and I appreciate it Thank you.

This supermarket us not for the faint lolly gagger. At one point it was the busiest locations of this chain. It is clean, well stocked, bright, easy to locate, wide aisles. But if you dont need a shopping cart, better to shoulder your load or you may find yourself spending time avoiding other avid shoppers unnecessarily. Great store.

The location of this store has been occupying this space over 20years. Easy location to see and access as you exit the freeway into the Kahala area. An in-store bank available with a seafood, bakery and deli available.

Terrence in the seafood section was so nice, pleasant and personable. I love customer service like this!

Love this supermarket, they take pride in what they sale. Pictures speak for themselves, produce is always fresh and well stocked. The store is always clean and the staff always friendly and wanting to help. This is my go to spot for food shopping, good job to all of the Times Supermarkets

Ono hot plate lunches

Excellent local grocery store that has everything a large name brand store should have. Lots of local kine selections as well. Bonus is they gave covid vaccine by appointment which was well organized and seamless. No waiting. Parking lot stinks like most on the island so beware if you try to keep your car free from door dings. I rarely come here due to its location and opt for foodland in Aina Haina or the dreaded Safeway in HKI. Otherwise its whole foods in town since the kahala whole foods is terrible. In short I recommend Times in Kahala if your on that side of the highway.

Best meat section i have found

I used to work in the area and frequented them often for their hot food. Needed some potluck appetizers and drinks for a small dinner in the area. Thought of them because I feel comfortable in their familiar store.

If u go early the bentos and sushi are excellent

This Times supermarket is like taking a step back in Times to the 1970s, no pun intended. Time for a remodel especially when their is brand new FoodLand a block away with a better selection of produce, poke, and meats.

Very helpful staff had exactly the right stuff for sushi preparation

A neighborhood store tucked right between the freeway and Kahala Mall. Just merged with Don Queotes but it has not appeared to have changed. Great deals on their ad items. There is a service bakery with fresh bake and coffee. A service deli with hot lunches and fresh sushi. The produce department is busy and the quality of produce looks really fresh. The meat department looks as if it needs a remodel or update. But overall it is a good experience to shop here.The service in the store is always very friendly.

I love me some Times! You can grab yourself a nice pumpkin pie at any time of the year! Check out those hot deals on mini M&Ms!

Small grocery with a large selection. Great poke counter, sushi and hot food selections. Cold beer and pretty good range of Asian and mainland food items. Nice and cold AC.

All of the personnel there are courteous and helpful and they seem to go out of their way to be helpful

You know what? i want to be fair and explain why it wasnt five stars for me.. esp since you took time to respond to my star rating only. times has a personality i connect to. the shelves were stocked. it felt clean. employees were available.i had the hardest time locating the lip balm. i found the Burts bees brand but the cheaper stuff wasnt next to it... it felt hidden amongst the travel stuff.but what really made an impression though were the two employees at checkout. yes, they were friendly but just minimally. in fact, they started to have a conversation unrelated to work (talking about some person) right in front of me while the transaction was still happening. there wasnt any inappropriate language or anything. it just felt a bit rude.Ive worked in retail before and one of the places i worked at emphasized that you shouldnt have personal conversations in front of a customer, that your attention should be on that person esp while theyre still there.did it ruin my day? nah. but dont you want people to leave with a good experience? everytime? and you appreciate honesty, right? you want to know how you can improve? because we can all improve on something...3.75 stars

This is the best Times grocery in the island. It doesnt smell like fish and its clean. Prices are inexpensive as usual of Times.

Our company was having a recognition ceremony for our wonderful volunteers. I called at 4:00 pm to order 5 fruit baskets to be picked up at 8am the next morning. They were ready at 8am, and looked beautiful!!! Thank u produce department!!!! Will definetely use them for our next event:-)

A good variety of ethnic foods, top brands, essentials, well stocked and good quality meats, seafood and produce. Its not the closest grocery store to me so I shop here when I know my grocer doesnt have some of the quality products Im looking for. They have a hot food counter which is also convenient and a good selection of baked goods. Im not sure if they have an in-store bakery. Easy access location off the freeway, lots of parking.

They have okay quick food. The market is way over priced for everyday items and goes bad super fast. Might as well just go to Whole foods and get better food. The price difference is barely seen if any.

I have been going there since I was a kid and the place hardly changes. The place maybe needs a face lift but its got everything you need. The process are usually the best for most things. Cheaper than Safeway. People are local and nice. Location is good with lots of parking.

I like to purchase my favorite Hawaiian Islands Tea which is guava ginseng. They always seem to have a special when Im visiting which was pretty much six times last year. I always purchase about 6 boxes to introduce and share with my friends back in Washington. On my last visit this March, they only had 2 boxes on the floor. When I inquired, customer service called to check back stock, and checked another of their stores for me. The staff was very friendly and efficient . Ill always buy it from there.

Your regular supermarket, gets quite crowded at after work hours, I try to avoid it!Other wise good selection on produce and meats, great poke. They have a Saint-Germain bakery inside I believe, they do the plate lunches. Wish they had a self checkout though!

Fair prices. Good fresh fruits, vegetables & meats selection. Clean. Helpful & pleasant staff. Needs more cashiers...lines too long especially peek hours.

We use Crystal Gyser gal bottled water. I buy 10 cases at a time. Times Market consistantly has the best price and availability.

Times (in Kaneohe) is a great market. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Good variety. Their produce is better than most markets. Just wish they had grocery delivery like Safeway. Their prepared foods are reasonably priced and delicious. Love their teriyaki furikake salmon plate!

Conveniently located near Kahala Mall with a nice big parking lot. The deli has great deals with a menu of fresh cooked meals that changes daily. The grilled steak plate is delicious. They also have very good salmon. If you havent tried Okinawan sweet potato be sure to get it as a side.The Poke here is on point. They have a good variety of fresh/previously frozen to choose from. The fresh spicy Ahi is a top choice.Try to avoid from 4-6 if possible as it gets pretty busy.
