Definitely a different kind of experience than a mainland Walmart. Feels small even though they have two floors. The reason Im giving them two stars is because my four year old had to go potty and they only had one bathroom upstairs and it was full of people. We had to leave the store to find somewhere else to use their bathroom.

Nice to have in downtown Honolulu. It has the best parking and only public bathroom for many blocks around. The store always seems to have what I need at great prices.I just wish they did a better job at keeping the King St outside of the store cleaner although they are not to blame. Its abused by the homeless and we have walk through their filth to get to Walmart.

Different Walmart location. Very busy store(s). Look what I found. Now I can have my cold coffee at my place without having to get my shoes or sandals on.They stopped having this in my Walmart in Sacramento Ca.Although, this location was big it really didnt have what we needed. But theres another one close by.

5 Stars to Walmart…??!! YES! I went there to print a few photos from my smartphone and @ nine cents a print I couldn’t help but had over 200 photos printed…!! Great deal and they only took an hour!

Its always nice to see Wallys World stuffed into a downtown city building. I loved the ingenious process when moving the shopping carts to the next floor with the escalator. Yet the parking attendant wanted to charge me $25 for parking in the garage, even though I showed her a receipt where I spent over $200. We agreed on a $5 charge instead where as it should have been free up to 2 hours parking

Being in a great Honolulu area, I was expecting the Walmart to be better. It hardly had anything that I needed. Looked very shabby even for a Walmart! Had to pay $5 for my parked car since they didn’t have any of the things I was looking for. And do not park in here as it is a bad parking lot with the roof almost touching the car. You need to drive super slow so that your car doesn’t hit the roof ( I had a Nissan Murano). The store itself is not well maintained and lacks many items that you would find in most Walmart’s. Avoid unless you don’t have an option.

A couple of my scripts are controlled meds and one of my scripts ( Adderall) always brings interesting reactions from the pharmacists and their faces get all weird-looking as they tell me that they dont fill that medication at their stores. Ive been told from CVS, Walgreens, and im talking about all of the stores around this island even a few walmarts cause they are individually owned. Times pharmacy does fill it but Walmart Fort street mall pharmacy always has it and doesnt look at me funny or make me uncomfortable like im some dope addict. Thank you to the pharmacy people!

The downtown Honolulu Walmart is horrible. Parking is in a separate parking structure thats up a narrow spiral ramp and is dimly lit. The elevator for the parking is separate from the stores elevator, so have to use two elevators. In-store pickup for online orders is on the 2nd floor, but customer service desk is on the 1st floor. Item I wanted was on aisle 21, but the aisle numbers skip from 20 to 24 with no indication of where aisle 21 is. Had to find employee to point the way to #21, which wasnt in sight of aisles 20 or 24. It takes less time to go a little further to the Ke’eaumoku Street Walmart than to bother with all the hassle at the downtown store.

Wierd set up for parking with the 5 levels. But the staff was more than helpful, and very respectful.

Good Walmart. We were looking for essentials for our week long stay here in Honolulu. Its right in middle of downtown so the parking is not free. You need to make a purchase of minimum 20$ to get free parking and its limited to 2 hours. The parking will be validated at the checkout if you make a purchase of more than 20$. Its a 2 level Walmart with essentials and food on the lower level and the clothes on the upper level. We found everything we needed.

The parking tunnel is a little sketch but.. shopping here is exceptional! staff was helpful when I needed help finding a few items, walmart is 2 levels. make sure to stamp your parking ticket upon leaving. and.. if you like bang energy drinks they have alot of flavors in cant find else where 🤙🏻

Checking out your item in the self checkout was fast and easy. Im glad they opened up more self checkout stand. (Great idea and Job well done.)

Walmart Downtown is across from Ross Dress for Less, near CVS and Fishers. Its the only place downtown with a clean guarded restroom. You can enter or exit from Bethel Street or Fort Street Mall. The self-chechout is fast and the staff helpful. Theres an elevator to the 2nd level. The store is well stocked. They even had a great vacuum that I was looking for for a great prise.

Worse customer service ever. Long line at the customer service desk. One customer decides to jump the line then there was a disagreement between three customers and next thing you know the police came through the door, so you have time to call the police instead of calling your supervisor for help with the long line smh. All this time still no one call for help as the line go around the corner and not moving at all. Store manager needs to train their employees especially at the customer service desk to call for help when theres more than 2 customers waiting in line. Waiting time was almost an hour.

Great place to get basic food staples and souvenirs (coffee mugs, chocolate covered macadamia nuts, etc), and basic tourist stuff (snorkel fins, sunblock, aloe, etc.). Free 2 hour parking validation with purchase! Though you will have to navigate through plenty 1-Way streets.

Nice clean store. Employees were helpful and courteous. Plus, it was the first 2-story Wal-Mart Ive ever been to! Farmers market right outside was also a new thing for me, very cool idea. We dont get this in Texas

It was a cluster of a mess. Just trying to get into the parking garage is a nightmare.

Good Walmart, if not a little small. We came in search of cheap souvenir shirts and we got what we wanted. Their selection of trinket souvenirs was lacking (magnets, figurines, etc). They had all the general things youd expect from a Walmart so if you need bath supplies or home goods, theyve got it.

I mean, the prices are the best Ive seen so far on the island. Its not the size of a Walmart on the mainland - so dont expect that. Its also not in the best neighborhood but they have their own parking garage. But the workers there were very helpful and very nice. They were sweet when we asked them to get some formula out of the locked case.

This walmart is unique in that it has 2 levels and a parking garage . Had a good experience. Be sure to bring your parking pass with you and have it validated to get your 2 free hrs of parking.

Bought this caramel popcorn because i was hungry. After i was eating it and almost home i realized this was past its “best” date. Im sure its still good but i dont want to buy or eat anything past its best date. If i do buy it past its best date i dont want to pay the “best” price, this should be discounted. Everyone else who bought this got the best deal except me, thats why this is upsetting. And theres a guarantee sticker promising its freshnessLast time i came here it was over 6 years ago. Thats the reason i didnt call the manager because who knows when im coming again.

We were on a cruise ship and were in port for the 2 days and needed some things we had forgotten. This store was in walking distance so we took the short walk. Located right in the downtown area and very convenient. They had everything we needed and at reasonable prices.How could you ask for more?

Always able to ask an employee fir help if I cant find something. Always busy, mostly clean. Only a mess after the crowd has finished stampeding through. My only beef is that they usually have only 2 cashiers open and there is always a long line. I prefer to use a cashier with a brain and personality. I was a union member for over 30 years and cant stand companies that downsize employees but expect customers to do all the work themselves. I have actually asked managers to open more registers and had them walk away from me! Ok, so its more than a small beef lol. But the rest of the store is great.

This Walmart location is excellent! First off they offer parking for their customers so kudos for that. Also they have the best customer service. I needed a car charger and with my luck the lock was jam so they couldn’t open the glass door to get my item. However the manager, Christian, was so persistent that she eventually had someone unscrewed the top part of the shelf to get the item that was inside. I was utterly impressed and grateful. This was exactly what I needed because I’ve visiting and have been driving without a car charger and my phone’s battery was draining like crazy!

They need to Carry more variety of merchandise at this Location it is very limited

Very small Walmart in dowtown. To park, its a level paid parking unless you purchase 20$ or more its frew. Make sure you get it stamped by walmart employees. Very small selection for all products. If youre not picky for certain items, its a good quick grab. To get to the store, you must take elevator to the 1st floor. Just remember what level you park on.

1042 Ford St Mall... Parking is terrible, you have to get your parking ticket validated or you pay to shop, employees are not friendly because they have to deal with all the homeless/transient & sometimes mentally ill ppl. I dont blame them. Its just sad 😒.

You have to pay for parking, they validate but only with a $20 minimum purchase. The store is in the weirdest location ever and you enter through the parking structure, if you are driving. The parking is $5 for every half hour or portion thereof. So, 31 mins will cost you $10 and 1 hour 1 min will cost you $15. MIND-BLOWING! Be prepared to either spend $20 in products or on parking.The prices are definitely better than the grocery store, which mind you a bottle of a Simply Lemonade was about $3 at Walmart and $7 down the street at Safeway. I walked through the store in disbelief. .. half gallon of milk $7 and a 12 pk of water was like $9. I AM SUFFERING FROM STICKER SHOCK....GET me back to the mainland.

IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS I WOULD. This Walmart is over run by the homeless. They even let them camp out in the bathrooms and sleep on the floors. The people are extremely rude and parking in the garage was a nightmare. The store wasn’t stocked at all and it was very dirty. Horrible, horrible experience!! Stay away!!!!!

Not a lot of choices, shelves are practically empty, but I got to give it, it is the smallest Walmart on the island and has free parking for 2 hours if you purchase anything over $20 dollars, I usually have just your basic needs not like the Walmart in makakilo which has everything you can think of

Personnel in the Downtown Walmart are ALOT more Professional than the walmart on Keeaumoku St. Like Ive said, a DIRECT reflection of management

Love the online shopping and grocery delivery!!! I also loved that I could use my EBT Food stamp card to pay for my food purchase online as well! Its totally secure and does require your pin to finalize your purchase just like as if you were actually in the store at the register!

Lack luster to say the least. Probably the worst stocked walmart on the island. If your a tourist youre good to go tho. And in all honesty this whole area needs a good power washing and sanitized.

Small but clean Walmart + there is parking! The parking entrance is only on one side of the Walmart and you have to spend at least $20 (I think) at the store for your parking to be validated otherwise you have to pay. Ive seen many people upset that their total didnt reach the threshold for getting validated parking but thats the rule here.

I think its unfair to have a spending limit of 20.00 to even get your ticket validated.

There are NO scooters for the disabled. The only reason I go there is for the Credit Union

I think its dumb we have to pay for parking. $10 for being there for 40 mins. Store is poorly organized. Customer service sucks. Definitely not going back and I live right down the street.

I came here for groceries and they so kindly offered me the covid vaccine at no cost. I didnt even know it was available at no cost. A very friendly staff and the pharmacy technicians were so informative and friendly. This is my WalMart from now on

Im surprised. My favorite department store is Walmart. . I went to Walmart to purchase water shoes and they did not had our shoe size. We ended up buying men shoes and two size bigger because if not we would it have payed for parking. The only way you do not have to pay for parking it was for a minimum payment of 20 dollars.

Wal-Mart Downtown Honolulu...parking is convenient up the ramp and take elevator back down to ground level. Validation is quick and its usually a pretty smooth transition from car, to store, check out, back to car and back on road if one has a well planned agenda. Loss prevention will check your receipt prior to exiting store. All in all good experience, however, I personally prefer the Pearl City location as ease of access to amenities is top notch!

We picked up a few items here, no bags, you need to purchase your own recycled bags to carry your groceries. That was new for us, but, a good thing they are recycling.

I was sitting down a shelf, trying a pair of slippers. When a worker told me I cant sit there, and try it on. There are benches about 10ft away, and I use a cane. But there were no benches around. All I was doing was putting my shoe back on. Oh, he also walked away. Not even helping me.

This place used to be the best... Many machines... Great prices... 24 hrs... Now many broken machines and laundry card machines wont take credit cards anymore.

Today noticed some high-priced items. Shoes for $129. for designer shoes. That is so high. Clothes on the floor. Most of the time dressing rooms are closed.

The cashier Merilyn at self checkout switched my parking ticket to other guy while validating it. I was shocked when getting out of the parking and the lady at the booth is charging me 35$ because the ticket was over 5 hrs. Told her Im not even at Walmart for an hour. Had to go back to the cashier and BLAMING me for not checking my ticket. She is not even sorry...Well told her how I suppose to know?they are both yellow. Problem was solved only by one of her manager but neither of them apologized for the inconvenience. Way to go Walmart

The store is greatly stocked workers are nice but the homeless around da area just makes me feel uncomfortable. I MEAN....SERIOUSLY SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE TO PROTECT THE SHOPPERS AND EMPLOYEES SOMEONE ALWAYS BEGGING FOR HANDOUTS

This Wal-Mart use to be the layout of an older building, so it wont be easy to go in and out. Its ran down and poorly ran. Customer service center is ran by those who arent familiar with standard american customer service. Much different than the average walmart. Fully capable of hiring better workers but most of them are elderly female filipino nationals. Specifically money center. They are telling you to go the bank for services they provide but are choosing not to and will not give a valid reason. Will take a long time to get the supervisor hoping you will dissappear. Do better in Hawaii walmart.

I shop at Walmart frequently because the prices are right and I know where everything is at. Also they now and then will bring in something new and quite interesting. I give this Walmart a five star rating because it continues to be at the service of its community and they continue to roll back prices.

Not my favorite Wal-Mart. Kind of small and limited on what they offer. Im guessing b/c its located downtown. First off, $20 minimum purchase to get you parking ticket validated is pretty weak but I guess I get it. The food section is more like a bodega its so small. The one by Ala Moana is 100x better! Another weird thing is this place appeared to be ONLY self checkout. I made the mistake of stopping at this one on my way home from work to try to grab some necessities and wont be doing that again.

Always a pleasure, even at a small store! Stop in at ROSS too which is kitty-corner, Mauka (towards the mountains). Theyre both on the Fort St mall and with exception to some of the furniture and kitchen stuff everything I now own is from these two stores! When you go to ROSS be sure toTell mgr Mike that you saw his name in a comment of mine! Hes a great guy and takes good care of everyone! Oh! Unless you want to be followed everywhere you go in Walmart here, and every other Walmart, DONT CARRY A BACKPACK!!! (or wear shorts or pants with pockets) You will automatically be profiled as a shoplifter. Same with ROSS. And anywhere else you go. Jus sayin.

Went to take passport photos. Pricing is at least $5.00 less that other places. Fast service had a less that 10 minute wait for pictures.
