Jenny at the front desk went above and beyond to help me out when my 2013 Chevy equinox had to be brought in. The next day she told me the mechanic assess it was an computer not communicating with my stability stabilizer.

All Trans has done amazing work for me in the past so I decided to take my new vehicle to them for a Checkup. I am never let down when I come here. I have taken my vehicles to All Trans for over 13 years with no issues - not one. You cant say that about may businesses.p.s. I have to laugh at people who give poor reviews because they got a high estimate, they probably compare Ruth Chris to Burger King too.

They were very accommodating when we had to leave the truck before hours.their shop was clean and receptive.when i went to pick up the truck they were honest in their assessment and what they did to solve the problem.in addition, the receptionist bent over backwards to help in whatever we asked of her..kudos to her

I called them to get an estimate on how much it will cost to change my clutch on my 2000 Subaru Impreza and I also started that I bought the clutch already, all I needed them to do was change my clutch. All Trans gave me an estimate of 1275.00 dollars and they stated there is no warranty on the clutch job.I called other transmission repair shops and they stated that was to high for just the labor for changing my clutch, so after calling several other shops the average price for labor was around 900.00 dollars, even servco subaru gave me an estimate for just labor was 1150.00 dollars. WOW, I will leave it at that.

The service is awesome. Mike the owner is very personable, he wants to help and get your vehicle running. He is also very knowledgeable. As long as I’m in Hawaii I will take my car to him. I have a classic car and wouldn’t trust it with just anyone. Also, Jenn the receptionist at the front desk is friendly and welcoming as well. They are always busy but will try to accommodate the best they can just call ahead.

This is a wonderful family that cares about the community. You will receive an honest assessment and a plan to protect your automotive investment! We need more businesses like this in Hawaii.

A place to go to if you need your whole new clutch replaced. Jenny (usually the one who answer calls) is very nice and they do honest work.

The All Trans team is impeccable. I shipped my Wrangler, that was sitting in storage for a year and previously living in Italy, to Hawaii and immediately needed to see a transmission repair shop. I found All Trans online and called. Jenny was able to get me in within the hour and 1 week later my Jeep was ready for pickup. Jenny also arranged a rental car for me and had them pick me up from the shop. This team is friendly, polite and professional. I would recommended All Trans to anyone. Mahalo!

I wish I wouldve posted this a while back, but a friends experience brought back memories of my experience with them. If I could give zero stars I would. All Trans, should not be the name of this shop..it should be Only transmissions of nice vehicles, or classics. To uphold the image of his shop, the owner strictly works on cars he deems fit for his shop. I had a Mazda truck I needed a new clutch for, as my insurance company advised me to go to them. The owner called me back saying that I needed to pick up the truck and have it towed away. He quoted me nearly $1500 for a clutch replacement, despite me already telling him thats what it needed and charged me nearly $150 for inspection fees and taking a look at it. I HIGHLY doubt he had anyone look at it, a few seconds of taking a peak underneath the vehicle does not warrant a charge so high. Then the owner rudely said that I need to pay before the pick up the vehicle as though I wasnt going to pay. I told him I was a service-member and that of course I was going to pay, there was no need to be rude or judge a customer by their vehicle or appearance. I will never go to them again. I feel disgusted when I see them show up on local TV ads. Stay away!

Wow! This is the best place on the whole island to get you cars transmission repaired! Fair prices, great service, Excellent work, Cant even compare to other shops that Ive been to. This place is clean to the max! Really modern and even have cars to rent on hand! There so friendly and honest ! Ir you need transmission work, this is the place to be bar none! Wait to you see the waiting room, Looks like a museum.

My food truck was about to loose its reverse and slipped between gears while driving. I brought it in for a check and estimate and they confirmed that I indeed needed transmission repair work. I asked about a new transmission but they said they only do rebuilds. I was skeptical and hesitated to sign the work order but the employees were very professional and the shop looked great (which is very important to me) so I went ahead with the work.They completed the work in reasonable amount of time and called me to confirm a couple other repairs. The price is high but I feel the work was done right. Im much more comfortable driving my truck now and I have a one year warranty on the transmission.Great work! Thanks All Trans

Had to rebuild the differential on my wifes truck. Not many places do this. Couldnt get into the dealer for over 2 weeks which was not acceptable. Called All-Trans and they got it in right away. Parts had to be ordered from the mainland but they got them sent ASAP with reasonable shipping. Shop is very clean and the staff was friendly. Not an inexpensive repair but I am satisfied as it was done promptly and professionally. I recommend this business

Friendly, top-notch service! Took my car for what I thought was a transmission problem, but All Trans could not replicate it - so they returned it, no charge, and said to come back if it happened again. Two months later, same issue, brought it in - turned out to be a catalytic converter problem, so no charge again. These guys are honest, friendly, and not looking to make a quick buck. For anything they can repair, from now on, Im taking my car here - customer for life!

I regret that it has taken me a few years to write about this company. But it is important that I let others know. A few years ago, I took my BMW 325 Convertible to All Trans and he rebuilt the transmission which costed me $1,800.00. (plus $300 fee to the referring party) for a total of $2,100.00.00.After the work was done, my regular mechanic noticed that the gage was showing not reflecting what it should be. He recommended I take it back which I did and explained the problem. The owner said there was no problem with the transmission. The transmission gave out after 8 months and I went back to see him. He said there was nothing he could do because the 6months guarantee on his work was expired. I would NOT go anywhere near this place nor recommend it to anyone. I have since had work done by another company who is very reputable. Actually I would give NO star to this but it wont let me post without at least 1 star.

I read several reviews prior to going to this place. It seems to be a reliable and trustworthy business. I placed a call and receptionist Jenny answered and I mentioned I wanted to replace the fluids with a 2003 vehicle with over 100k miles. She said it needed to brought for a free estimate. The so called free estimated is actually scanning for codes which cost $125 and tax. Not free at all.Jenny mentioned they dont do any vehicles over 100k miles, changing the transmission fluids would cause more damage. She did mention anything with cars over 100k. Whats amazing is that she questioned why I would change the transmission fluids....duh...coz its old and 100k....Just beware, sometimes good reviews are probably their relatives and bad reviews are customers looking for a decent/honest business.

My VW Beetle broke down a few months ago. I took it to the dealer and they diagnosed a fault in the transmission and quoted me a small fortune! I limped the car to All Trans and they diagnosed the same problem at a fraction of the price. I was in and out in just over a day. They saved me some money and its been running great ever since.

Most unprofessional service you could possibly imagine. If you dare to write a bad yelp review they actually call your place of work & try to get your supervisors to talk you into taking it down! These people are bullies and scam artists who want to replace a whole transmission when there is only a very fixable leak. Avoid this place like the plague! If you do go, make sure you go get a second opinion somewhere else (Thank God I did! They wanted $2600 to replace the trans when it was only a $150 fix & my car is great now!) & whatever you do, dont give them your work phone number, unless you want to be harassed! If it were possible I would give them negative stars! I am shocked by their actions, they have called asking for supervisors multiple times asking that bad reviews be taken down from Yelp, so now I will be posting reviews about my experience there everywhere I can. People need to know what kind of a place this is!

Well i had a rattle in my transmission so i took my car into these guys. was pretty certin that it was the input shaft bearing and i tolled them that, they said they wouldent really know untill they had it on the work bench. so after about 3 days they gave me a call and said they were goina have to rebuild it, i figured they were experts so they knew what they were looking at so i agreed. when i got it back i had a check engine light on, its a turbocharged car and it wasent pulling boost, so i asked them if they hooked the vacuum lines up correctly and they responded with whats a turbo charger... and on top of that the problem was still there, and the second and third gear were really loose. when i confronted them about all this they said leave it with them and they would take care of it, so i did, after another couple of weeks i went back to pick it up and they said it was fixed and all they had to do was change the tranny fluid. i knew that was a bunch of bull, but after being car less for a month i just wanted to be done with them. took it to another shop and they replaced the input shaft bearing like i said and the thing works like a charm. i would highly suggest not going hear, there work is crap and they are ignorant as far as automotives go.
