A hidden gem me and my family where on our way back from camping and stopped for a quick bite to eat. The restaurant and bathrooms were nice and clean. The lunch sandwiches were great the French fries were amazing food for 5 people and all for under 50$, plus desert cant beat that. Only downside was the beautiful dining garden was closed but if your in the area I highly recommend stopping in for a bite.
Great little place in the middle of no where. The place has been here forever. The tri tip sandwiches are amazing! It had a little store area with drinks and some snacks for the road. The outdoor patio is great especially if you have a large group. Staff is friendly and seems to take pride in their place. I highly recommend giving it a try
We found this place by accident. Downside is no table service. You have to self serve then they ask for tip. The place is funky. Set in middle of convenience store. They specialize in trip tip but we ordered a burger and patty melt. Food made fresh and done well. We would go back. Tip. If you like fries order double order the fries were small not enough.

First time here today, my boyfriend had been wanting to try this place for over a year, now. My tri tip sandwich was so good! I got the bill, he got the 4 corners. I enjoyed it, he was not as satisfied, but what I did not like is how they nickel and dime for EVERYTHING. Want lettuce and tomato? Thats gonna cost ya, cheese? Thats gonna cost ya, literally anything that usually comes in a sandwich is extra here (reason I did 4, instead of 5 stars). While it was good, I can get a sandwich just as tasty with all the fixings without paying extra at freedom meat locker and he likes mansmiths tri tip so it was good but we personally dont feel like its worth the drive again.

This is the best place to get trip tip sandwiches! They have a complete menu from breakfast to lunch. I have had their tri tip sandwiches and my favorite is their calamari steak sandwich. I have never been served a bad meal. We go there monthly to meet friends, and the staff is wonderful and welcoming! The prices are fair considering the quality of the food.
Great little place! Got a Gobbler Club sandwich, it was yummy! Hubbs got tri tip, very tender and flavorful! They have burgers as well and other good eats. Also, a very large assortment of desserts!!

First time. Purchased $60 of food etc. here(tip expected for counter order). After eating in the car, I went back to use the restroom(approximately 45mins later) and was told it was closed. I rementioned all the money I spent(offered to show receipt), and she still told me it was closedThis place is out in the middle of nowhere..Mask was worn.First time in my life I have been a patron somewhere and not allowed to use the restroom. Tri tip sandwich was good. Fries,meh; turtle cheesecake, flavorless. Well see about the two bottles of local wine, approximately $14 each. I wont ever stop again. A huge chunk of my money to be treated so poorly. I believe in helping local businesses and do support them.

Honestly i didnt expect this little place it was Legit in the middle of nowhere . Im so grateful for it though! I have a medical condition and I need to take breaks often and right when I needed to stop this cute place was right there. The people were so friendly .

Our group loved the tri-tip just like all the other reviewers. They have some vegetarian options as well. I got the veggie club on a toasted garlic roll and it was delicious. Their salad bar is simple but good and fresh. The back patio is beautiful!! This turned out to be a great place to stop for lunch on our road trip.
Staff is nice and every time I come here the Patty Melt never disappoints. One of my favorite places to eat when I come into town.
They use to make the best tritip sandwiches and fries were great!!! That was so long ago, I recently got one and it was great, been back three more times since and every single time I am so disappointed, you go and spend your hard-earned money try to give your business to your local merchants and to be disappointed is very frustrating...
Phenomenal tri tip sandwiches. We had the Jimmy Dunnes and philly. Loaded with tender flavorful meat, tangy bbq sauce, bread was delicious and didnt get soggy. Also ordered seasoned fries which were crispy outside and fluffy inside, also they werent salty like other places. Great customer service and quick with getting the food together. This is a gem and I look forward to monthly visits to pick up food on our way to Hollister hills. Definitely worth a trip.

Great tri-tip sandwiches!!!! I chose the simple one and added sauces!! Wow! The place to go, it does take some time to get it after you order but its worth the wait! It gets very busy during lunch, if posible get there early or call in your order. They have a lovely outside patio to enjoy.

You can get one of the best tri-tip sandwiches you have likely had here. With a choice of inside or outside dining, you can enjoy a warm afternoon out or shelter inside and avoid the flies. Its a bit out of your way but worth the trip!

Nice little store. We didn’t have food, just used the restroom. The restroom is quite dirty. But I’m still grateful, because there are no gas stations around for many miles.

Great place for breakfast. Seems a lot of locals frequent. I go there on Sundays occasionally for breakfast. The service is great food is good sometimes theres a bit of a wait but nothing more than 15 minutes.

Very friendly place with very friendly servers. Sometimes it can take awhile to get your order out from the kitchen while being seated for lunch or breakfast. The tri-tip sandwiches are awesome but they have a good breakfast as well. They make a great hamburger and cheeseburger. They are not right in town but about a five-minute Drive outside they have a great outside seating area too

The woman behind the counter was so helpful. And its very nice and I will be stopping again. I had ordered a beef pie that consist of tri-tip, onions, bell peppers in a puff pastry. It was okay just a tad too salty for my taste. But with a cup of coffee it was pretty good. I want to try one of their tri-tip sandwiches they have several to choose from.

Had incredibly moist tri tip sandwiches on a Saturday afternoon.They close the restaurant at like 3or 4 at which point you cannot get hamburgers anymore, only their tri tip sandwiches, so be warned!Great service, tasty food and clean bathrooms!!

My husband LOVES the tri tip. He swears its melt in your mouth good. Usually he gets it to-go but this last time, we ate in house. The service isnt good at all. The group of ladies who work in there are not organized and our table was forgotten.... twice. One time, my husband had to go ask them to come take our order and the other time they forgot to bring our friends soup so I had to go to the counter and ask. They also sell some baked goods as well as snacks like candy bars and chips plus to-go drinks, beer and alcohol. I cant say I would be back for anything, though, but my husband will be back for his to-go trip sandwiches.
