There FFL service is horrible . I’ve probably had 10 transfers there trying to build a good relationship with them. What a waist of time . They say they will call you when they get your package, do not count on them to do so! You can tell the young lady who does transfers isn’t in a hurry to help you and has zero sense of urgency. Again this will be my last transfer with them . Highly highly disappointed and you will be too. Do not go there

Ace is what it is everywhere. They fill a need. Hobart lumber ace has super nice and helpful folks.

I have shopped in this Ace store in the past, but NEVER AGAIN! You would think for the prices they charge they could hire professional, courteous help, but that is not the case! The snotty rude cashier with braided pig tales, should Never work around customers. The fellow who sold me a product to get rid of rodents was uneducated and the product never worked! I’m DONE with this store forever....don’t waste your money folks. I can’t believe they are still in business!

Horrible... went 2 get sum keys made... they only had 1 of the keys I needed. So it was a complete waste of time.

Helpful if you need it, allow you to shop on your own if you dontMuch easier to select small quantities of fasteners than big box stores.

It was good; they were super busy and a little under staffed, but all in all it was good!

I originally only came here because I had a FFL transfer sent here. I called to verify they still did them. Young lady says she believes so but wants to verify with a manager. Awesome and thank you. Gentleman gets on and explains the process and fees. I ask a few more questions and Im good to go.Order was received on a Friday at noon. I called on Saturday afternoon to verify. That was really my only issue was that they didnt call. But thats fine because I was watching. The gentleman said at pick up there is usually a delay on their end. But to just call before I ever head up so they can get it ready if its not just yet. Simple enough for me.Super friendly staff. I purchased a few things while I waited and then out the door. Super easy and great service unlike at Sheepdog.Also this location was very clean organized and brightly lit. Ive been in other Aces that seem crowded and kinda dark. I really liked this location!Will use them exclusively going forward!

We went to Ace today and before we walked in my wife says well have to be patient we dont know where anything is. Upon entering the store a gentelman greated us asked us what we where looking for helped us locate, with no effort, 5 different items saving us probably 25 minutes thank you hobart ace hardware for giving your customers 5 star service. Youve earned our businesses for life.

These people are always helpful and friendly. Ok, youre not getting Menards prices, because this is a local business that cant compete with them on every level. But you get people who remember you, who stand behind what they sell, and who help you if you dont exactly know what you need to get a job done. I have nothing against big chains, but its the small stores like this that were once the backbone of towns across the states, and theyre still their giving the best that they can to whoever stops in. Support local businesses. They have a great staff who genuinely cares about customers. Drop by sometime.
