I would say there overall experience is OK but, they need to continue improving there online purchases with pickup. This area needs some improvement to compete. There web page is showing it age and when picking up having a more of tight experience would help drive them to the future. Increasing there on hand variety wouldnt hurt either.

The store carries all the latest tech and employees are extremely courteous and helpful!There were a couple of times I’ve pointed out a few mistakes and the employees accepted them and were more than willing to make sure it doesn’t happen again. IMHO very few stores can have so many good people like these.There have also been times I was referred to better deals on the website if they were available. Just an awesome experience shopping here.

I go to Best Buy to look at new laptops and desktops mostly. The staff is helpful and attentive. In terms of price/performance of laptops, better options can be found elsewhere. With smartphones, I got a price match in the past, which helped. Not sure if price match applies to laptop purchases too. I like Best Buy because it has a good selection of products from well known manufacturers. I got my full kitchen appliances from here also.

I had EIGHT employees ask me if I needed help while I was there, and on top of that, the super nice guy who checked me out congratulated me on my transition, like??? That was fully unnecessary?? But really cool!! Ya’ll keep at it, you’re doing great. Also, to the guy who was getting yelled at by a customer, I hope you have a good night.

Worst service ever. Liars had me buy a one year contract paid cash but took my card told me could cancel but you cant until one say before you signed up. This is every year whether you like it or not. Person that brought out my computer was a complete jerk. Mumbled after telling her/him Im deaf and was rude. Worst service ever had in my life.

Horrible atrocious experience at the Bestbuy on NE Evergreen. On 10/28/21, arrived for my 120pm appointment with the Geek Squad to have my cracked phone screen fixed on my Samsung Note 20 Ultra. The BestBuy in Hillsboro on NE Evergreen is now listed as an authorized Samsung phone screen replacement location. Although Samsung states it should take 1 to 2 hours at most, the Geek Squad staff stated it would take 4 to 5 hours, but it would be done by end of business same day. Also, yhey wpuld have to totally wipe my phone on the process. I had already backed everything up hust in case. Why bring it here? Well its Samsung week and they are touting a $99.00 promotion to have your cracked phone screen fixed. Samsung has excluded UBreak/IFix, their authorized agent who fixes screens in about 1 to 2 hours and has a few locations. Only two BestBuy locations are authorized at this point. For 99.00 a great deal right, you would think. Came back to pick up phone at 6pm, and was told you want the good news or the bad news. Good news, we didnt have to wipe your phone. Bad news is we didnt even get to work on it at all. This is only are second day of doing this and are having issues with the Samsung tools they sent us. On the bright side, at least you are not the customer whose phone we have opened and are not able to reassemble at this time. Actually, I do really feel bad for that person. We both thought we were going to get what we paid for and it was an epic fail by the Geek Squad! They did refund my 99.00 dollars, but here I sit with my cracked screen and 5 hours of my time lost. It is crazy how much we have come to depend on our phones. Without it, you lose contact with everyone, job, family, and friends. The Geek Squad representative who came out to apologize was nice though, but they should not be attempting something when they have no idea what they are doing. They had full access to my phone for nothing. You would think they would have some way to contact you instead of you waiting for 5 hours. Colossal waste of my time!

I will reconsider purchasing at Best Buy. I did’t know customers now only have 15 days to return any purchases, even when you have a receipt. I’ve been able to do returns at other stores with no problem. They accepted my return only this one time (30 days after purchase) but I will not be able to return my other item I forgot at home. Disappointing!

Wonderful dining experience - even on a cool outdoor evening. Wed go back for sure.Had the chefs tasting menu and wine pairing. My daughter and I are foodies and this was a treat! Service was excellent, friendly and helpful. Host was accommodating re changes to our reservation.For the food: the dishes all used local, fresh ingredients and were well prepared. Wish the entre was slightly larger- it was delicious and wish we had a few more bites. Wine pairings worked well. Loved the viognier.Desserts were a nice finale to the dinner.

Interesting times we live in when Best Buy is more or less useless with electronics! I came in to ask the Geek Squad for some help with my week-old Surface and they sent me to the Blue Shirts because they didnt have a computer to help me with, or so I was told. When I went over to computers, I might as well have been speaking in Latin and this guy was more concerned about why the Geek Squad sent me over than actually just listening and then trying to help. Stopping to just listen and then working to find a solution together is becoming a lost art form in the realm of customer service.

They are terribly under staffed. I was sent to the geek squad, who sent me to cell phone area, where I waited for 40 mins, was sent to the front check out which was busy so I went back to the front door person who was talking to another person who was also waiting for help in cell phones. I told her I was also witness in that are and she wanted to know if I wanted to be added to the que. I told her no and left the store. Very disappointed with this store and I know they have a store manager so why is he not helping out.

Great inventory, terrible display and advertisements of prices in TV area so tvs dont line with price tag. I ended up going to the front and this young kid with a too good to be here attitude was going to be my cashier while I had the wrong TV model number for the deal I wanted. So when he scanned it came up with what I believed to be the wrong price due to their poor displays in the TV section. So when I pulled up the price online with the deal he very rudely said yes thats the complete wrong model, in a loud voice and degrading tone, they are literally same brand and same dimensions with the same appearance only difference was backlogs or something.

Hard to find an employee educated about products. After buying a phone case and screen protector I was charged to put the screen protector on after waiting 45 minutes for them to find someone to do it. There were lines and bubbles in the screen that the employee said would work out after 24 hours. They did not. Not happy with being charged for inferior application of a $35 screen protector.

I wanted information on WIFI equivalent if I engage Comcxxt as service provider. The sales assistant treated me respectfully and spoke to me with the knowledge of MY technical skills. He was knowledgeable and precise. I did wind up purchasing a router and modem. He pointed out the strengths of buying a separate system or combined system. I was impressed. I have had some distasteful experiences in the past. But feel comfortable recommending them now.

We purchased two televisions both to be delivered on the same day. I was becoming suspicious when the phone call with delivery information was not received. When I called my local store, they were not taking calls & I was directed to a National center. I was informed our order had been canceled due to verification details. She could provide no other information. The email she told me they sent was never received. I will not purchase an item for delivery from Best Buy again. Plus, getting someone to help you is not an easy task. If I could give zero stars, I would. We will purchase our TVs from somewhere else.

Ive been exclusive to this store & location since the pandemic and I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!!! I usually ride my bicycle there and dress somewhat different (colorful and quite silly at times) and I have always gotten the best customer service... friendly/kind/knowledgeable. It means even more these days and when you look as different as I do... it feels like a big hug and I super appreciate them!

I go there to pick up my thing which I order via their website. The team in the checkout area also come to ask me on the pick-up, so I dont have to wait for long. I was not happy with my experience. I had a question for two different departments. My family and I waited about 20 min to talk to the tablet/computer department to ask how to make sure my Onedrive is active. At first he told me I needed to have a credit card on my account to pay for Microsoft Office, however when I told him that we just paid for it the beginning of the year he told me I had to call support. Then we went to the cell phone department as my calculator on my phone has a white keypad on a white background. The gentleman took my phone closed all my windows and restarted my phone and told me that because I have a lavender phone my background is confused about the color and if restarting the phone doesnt help then he doesnt know what to do as he really doesnt know about phones. It was a very frustrating stop.

Bought & paid for 3 of an item (computer mice), but they didnt actually have 3 on hand when they picked the order off the shelf. Another BB in the area had more stock, but they had no way to do anything with the order because their system had already automatically processed a refund for the out of stock item without notifying me. :-/ really inconvenient...

The customer service was GREAT and they even had a perfect solution for my in laws tech needs.They recommend the geek squad membership in which if he has in issue with his device. We call the geek squad and they can either remotely or up front help walk through the straps he needs to be back in running .. Thank you Best Buy associates for all your excellent help

First time I was in this store since it was remodeled with the new floor plan. Very clean and crisp, but it feels much smaller with less inventory. Was asked several times if I needed assistance, but very low pressure. Phone accessories were lopsided toward iPhone which did not help me and their blue ray options seemed a quarter of what they used to be. Overall this a very nice location.

The Tanasbourne management & staff take our safety & well being seriously as we move through these COVID19 days.I recently had to replace my cph. Before going to this BB store, I called ahead to ensure that the cph I wanted was available at the Tanasbourne store & the rep was able to quickly get that availability info to me.The sales rep who helped me with the purchase and setup did a great job in transferring content from old to new phone. Wasted 1 month of time .I had ordered gas range on mar15, 2021 and it was suppose to deliver on Mar 19,2021. But didnt receive any email/notification for the delivery till April 21. I had to call them almost every week 2-3 times for the status. I recently purchased a Black Friday deal. I received one email response from Best Buy regarding a delay in my order. Today only 10 days after my order I received a email stating my order was canceled. I searched online to see that my items were available in store. So I reached out to customer service to inquire about my purchases. The items were available in store but since they decide to cancel my order from Black Friday deal, they wouldn’t honor the price. They would only allow me to order at full price. Which was almost 500.00 more than my original price! I had opportunity to purchase the same items on other black Friday deals and wish I had. Best Buy is awesome for honering their word;I recently purchased an unlocked Samsumg Galaxy S21 5G 128G for $1199, but the costumer service rep on the toll free number said that the Tanasbourne store has them for $949. When I arrived, they determined that it was for the phones that included a plan, a carrier. So I paid the $1199. Best Buy representative at tanasbourne, later Ryan, honored their original quote and credited my bank account with the $250 that was originally quoted off the regular price.

This review is not a slam on this stores staff per se, but rather Best Buy in general. Ordered a bundled package to fix my PC. At the time of ordering, it stated 2 weeks for availability for store pick-up, which by itself is ridiculously long for what should be off the shelf components, but whatever--FAIL #1. The day they were scheduled to be picked up, I waited and waited for email confirmation... but nothing. Then 2 hours before closing I get an email update that says items are delayed with no predicted time to be available. FAIL #2! Then I try to call the store to see whats going on, 45! minutes on hold, no one ever picks up--FAIL #3. Then went online to try to chat with an agent, who could tell me absolutely nothing--FAIL #4! So now Best Buy has my money, has no idea when theyll have my components, the store cannot be reached, and I have a dead PC just before Christmas. If I can get through this purchase, I will NEVER do business with BB again! Also an honorable mention--Geek Squad is just a cover to push $200 extended warranties.

We visited the Tanasbourne Best Buy earlier this evening to upgrade our mobile phones to newer models. We arrived there a little before 6pm, waited for about ten minutes for an employee in the cell phone department to be available to assist us. We told him that we would like to upgrade two of the phones on our Sprint account. His response was sorry but we dont do mobile phone upgrades after 6pm. It was only 6:03!!!! And we were in line before 6, not to mention we drove almost an hour from our house. I think this is absolutely ridiculous. Not happy.

As a disclaimer, this used to be a 5 star store, and my favorite place to shop. I spent a year overseas and came back, and I was quite disappointed.Service is 50/50. You either get Employees who wont leave you alone when browsing, or no help at all when looking for someone with a question.Knowledge on electronics is sketch for most employees at best. Research what you want before you go in. I spent 25 minutes waiting to activate a Cell Phone, only to be completely ignored by 7 Employees and there were only 3 customers. I dont judge a business only based on a few employees, but I promplty left without purchasing my other items and went to a different electronics store.Parking during COVID-19 restrictions is at the back. The first 20 or so parking spaces in the 10+ rows are for picking up online orders.The business functions well during this current time (JAN 2021) so it gets an extra star. There arent any restrictions that interfere with the shopping and if there is a line outside then it only takes a maximum of 10 minutes to get inside, even if it is a long line.The door greeters are usually the best and nicest workers. Chase is a nice young man who has been there for years, he will get you all sorted if he is there.

About a month ago I spent about 2K for my sons gaming computer and my office equipment now that I have to work at home. I asked for a docking station for my MAC. Alex worked with us and told us everything we needed but we would need the Geek Squad to come out and help put it together. After waiting 2 weeks just to get geek squad to come out, I was told we didnt have the correct docking station. When I went to return it, they said oh its out of our 14 day return policy. So I asked for a manager who said oh we can make a one time exception. Then he tells me well we can only give you store credit thats how our return policy works out of the return policy. This has been the worst experience since the day I walked in there. I really thought they would understand electronics way more than they did. Honestly I dont think any of them knew what they were talking about and then to find out how shady they are. You spend thousands of dollars and then they nickel and dime you on returning things. I havent had such bad customer service in a long time and I will never use Best Buy again. I hope this review helps someone make a better choice on where they buy their electronics.

Knew what I wanted before I went in. Just let the guy at the door know I need a salesperson. Someone was with us in about 10 minutes (lots of Xmas shoppers). Altogether was in store for only 30 minutes. Recommend using their app to research what you want before you go in. Helps to mark items save for later or put in cart temporarily.

Worst experience ever. I bought 2 phones online at bestbuy.com and they showed delivery the next day. When the order was supposed to be delivered I got an update saying the order has been delayed. I went to best buy store and also called the service center only to know that the order cannot be canceled. Either show the correct delivery day or at least give the customers an option to cancel their order. Service is not even worth a 1 star, but didnt have an option for 0 or negative!!!

Best Buy in Hillsboro is easy to find with plenty of parking. I ordered my products on their website for curbside pick up, and it was easy to use. When I parked in their designated area, I notified the store via their text message to my phone. Within five minutes, an associate brought my products to my car and placed in the back, keeping our social distancing in check.
