I got a nostril piercing done by marley! it was quick and pretty much painless and she explained everything very well. she even threw in a free aftercare spray because my birthday was a few days ago. i will definitely come back :)

MARLEY is the BEST…. I had my nose pierced and it was so simple and painless and all because Marley made it that way. I went into the shop with a friend in the basement and the girl running the register was on her phone. Once she let us into the back, she left us to our own devices in the back and stayed up front on the phone. I went up to the register to pay while she was letting people into the back. She kept looking back and making sure I was still there waiting at the register. Once the person she was helping came back into the front, she preceded to help another customer in the back. I said excuse me to either ask if we could pay upstairs or be helped soon, and she ignored me. My friend then said excuse me louder and she still ignored us. We waited a few more minutes after being ignored and then walked away without the products we had intended on purchasing. Only after we had put our items down and started to walk up the stairs did she come back to the front.Honestly, the part where she ignored us is what upset us. She could have at least said one moment to us.I wont be shopping here anymore.

Came in to re-pierce an old hole. The shop is clean and has options to choose from more so than a traditional tattoo parlor. I enjoy looking at the knife and sword collection they have ... Reminds me a lot of adult hot topic but better quality. Marley was cool and made the experience awesome. A+

I no longer live in Nassau. I actually live about an hour away in Suffolk county and this is my favorite place on Long Island to come for piercings and jewelry. I have seen Marley there for the past couple of years and she always provides excellent service and does a fabulous job every time!

The girl running the piercing section has an awful vibe and made me feel like she didn’t want to pierce me then the next time I go to get tattoo cream it’s so badly expired it gave me a rash and was a whopping 23.00 pay attention to the shelf life of your items you could’ve infected my tattoo.... focus on being nice and positive the vibe can be felt from a mile away. However the girl in the front was fabulous so I wouldn’t say that all the staff is like that.

Been here FOREVER, always prices and most of the time you can be in and out quick. Sometimes they are a little understaffed down in the smoke shop section.

Got my rook and tragus pierced today by Marley! The process was quick and easy and she answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable. She talked me through everything, and explained aftercare really well. We were laughing and having a good time which took my mind off the pain. Utopia piercing is very sanitary and the staff keep it real. We were greeted walking in and out of the store.It was a little pricey, but its worth it because youre getting excellent care and quality jewelry to last years.

Terrible service, the employees should really learn how to help customers. Will never be coming back.

Rude, unhelpful, and unpleasant staff. If you dont want to work, go home. Better off buying your body piercings on Amazon for cheaper & as an added bonus, you wont have their sour attitudes ruining your day.

Looking for various contraptions to embarrass your mom when she finds them after looking through the stuff you stored in her basement? Its all here, baby! I dragged my boyfriend here and he stayed 2 inches away from me at all times in case someone thought he was one of those degenerates who goes to adult shops alone. All the 18+ supplies are on the lower floor and have a huge selection. Staff are always very polite and knowledgeable, totally judgement free. Theres something for all but the most outré tastes. My go-to place in the area for intimate accessories.

Awesome clothing, piercings if you feel like you need an extra hole in your body and the best glass shop on the island downstairs. Most of the staff is cooler than the other side of the pillow and incredibly helpful. They have an incredible selection of incense too just in case you need to mask the smell of your feet or your cats litter box.

Gina is AMAZING! I came in with my mom and had some questions about some of the products and she was so helpful and knowledgeable. We left there feeling like we got exactly what we wanted and nothing that we didn’t need. It was an overall excellent experience and I will certainly be back. Its way too expensive but had a lot of cool stuff. The downstairs has a great selection of tobacco pipes and xxx rated products. Again the pieces are steep though staff is always nice if prices were reasonable Id go a lot more.

Piercer very informative

A couple things I wanted to touch on since I noticed a few reviews that mention steep pricing on American made Glass. Glass within a significant price range is due to several factors, the fact that it’s made in America by an American made artist and one with a “celebrity following “ it would be equivalent to buying a record or CD directly from Beyoncé. Genreally, this glass is much higher in quality because of the materials and methods used to create it. You can expect American made glass to withstand much more than China glass can. China glass is nowhere near as durable. That has nothing to do with the shop itself, again I just wanted to mention that because I feel like a lot of people are uneducated about the Glass industry as it’s not as popular on the East Coast.I also wanted to mention that the manager on site, Marley is a very professional person & pleasure to deal with. She is the lead piercer and both reliable and knowledgeable about all products within the store, and there are a lot. I would say she is the main reason, Along with the large selection of products that I return to Utopia with my business!

Been going there for years for my incense sticks

I dont know if they are closing or under renovation, but this is not the Utopia I remember from back in my high school days. You used to be able to get all sorts of scene things there. Now it mostly looks like they just do clothes, tattoos, piercings, erotic clothes and toys, and smoking gear. Big open floor plan which makes it easier to get around.

I just left the EVERYONE was extremely POLITE!!! Answered all questions! I will return

Ive shopped at utopia for more than 25 years. Their staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable. Its like an apple store without the snooty salespeople where you can play with the toys.

This is a cool shop. Lots of cool stuff. The dark haired lady who greeted us was professional and friendly. There was a blond short haired lady scooting around the store in an office chair with wheels. My husband and I were wanting to buy a bumper sticker. We stood at the counter and patiently waited for her to finish playing around. I’m all about having fun at work and absolutely didn’t care that she was in her own world. But she acted super annoyed that she had to stop and help us. She threw the change in my hand and then left the counter...probably to finish her chair rolling or anything that didn’t involve other people. I actually felt kinda bummed out after being in your store.

Definitely go here for piercings! A little expensive, but Kaspa pierced my belly button and my nose- great experience, jewelry is great and I have no problems with them! Way better than a tattoo parlor. The store has a cool vibe to it, would definitely recommend 10/10!

This place is super cool! The ground level has a bunch of fun stuff like incense and oils and knives and statues and clothing. Then the basement level has a ton of adult toys, lingerie, and accessories. Its honestly such a cool store and I highly recommend it!

I would 💯% recommend getting pierced by Marley Quinn at Utopia! Not only was she the nicest, most professional piercer I’ve met, but when I spoke to her about an issue with a piercing I already had from a different shop, she was honest and so helpful. She was upfront and gave me the correct information about the piercing and jewelry that the other place failed to do. She made me feel very comfortable especially knowing that I felt embarrassed because I let the other shop screw up my ear. She helped me and made sure that I was comfortable and answered all my questions. I was so happy with the new piercing she gave me! I will be definitely going back to her for more piercings and I recommend her very highly!

The people who work downstairs at the smokeshop are always rude and miserable. Spend your money at the the other Utopia or somewhere else instead, support good businesses. They get away with to much here, theyll learn when they lose money and the shop closes down.

Pretty good. Just as I remember from the last time I was there like 15 years ago in centereach. The only issue I really have is with their prices. Its a little on the expensive side. I could buy any of this stuff on the internet and save some cash. Otherwise they were really helpful and knowledgeable.

This is a good place for smoking utensils and has an adult shop. Also has clothing store and selves unique looking knives and swords. They also have a lot of ornament like statues for tables and decorations for your house. The staff is good here very helpful and they have a lot of stuff to choose from.

Kaspa pierced my friend and I ears and he was absolutely amazing! Super friendly and professional not to mention he made the piercing seem effortless and as pain free as possible! We both agree that we’ll be back to Utopia for Casper every time we want a new piercing.
