I seldom post negative reviews but the staff are inept. I waited for over an hour to pick up a mattress even though I was told by the store manager to go there asap.. They almost broke the camera on my car because they wanted to put the mattress on the top of it. No one spoke fluent English, so it was hard to communicate.

Horrible customer service. I regret spending any money at this place. Had to call the Lynbrook store just to get the warehouse to OPEN THE DOOR for us to pick up. Jane at Lynbrook didnt even stay in the phone long enough to make sure I was helped. I would get my money back if I could. Worst experience ever. I only came to the warehouse because the store cant get the stock in house any more (that was said right from an employees mouth). Go ANYWHERE ELSE of possible.

My issue is with mattress firm as a whole, not specifically this location. Placed an order several weeks ago, was told items would be here within 3 to 5 days. Now it’s weeks later, and I’m told the items will not arrive for another month and a half! Salesman (Michael Mahone) is a horrible salesman. Doesn’t respond to text messages, emails, or phone calls!! Tried to cancel my order, cannot get a hold of anybody at any location whatsoever! Or online!! WHAT A JOKE!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!METRO MATTRESS IS THE PLACE TO GO! Lansing ny, Jeff!

Dont buy from Sleepys, terrible customer service. They claim to have a 100% satisfaction guarantee but refused to take back or exchange my mattress or that of my families less than 24 hours from purchase. They said the defects were within their parameters. So thats two times they refused to stand by their warranty of 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Sleepys is also a rip off, you can find the same mattresses at other stores for almost half the price, Sleepys is just clever and they slightly change the name of the mattress sold in their stores from other stores so that its very hard to price match but if you speak to sales rep they will say its the same exact mattress. Buy from Macys or Bobs or anyone but Sleepys.

My goodness, wish I had read some reviews before shopping with Sleepys, everybody cant be wrong. I purchased a mattress and adjustable base in December, after sleeping on it I could feel a lump in the center and a very significant lean that keeps me on the edge. I have been given the runaround since January and I am still waiting for some cooperation. It took two men to deliver my mattress, but they expect me to remove it and take pictures. Sleeps is dishonorable, deceptive, unprofessional, and their products are not quality goods. Once you have taken delivery they dont want to assist in any way. They have earned no stars but I could not post unless I added one star.

Very bad experience so far. The delivery men showed up as scheduled but then told me that the mattress was too heavy for just 2 people to carry up stairs, that theyd need a 3rd person to help, so Id have to reschedule. I rescheduled and just 2 delivery men showed up again! And told me that Id have to re-reschedule because they needed a 3rd person. It was like groundhog day.So Ive wasted 2 days and have had such a bad experience that Im not accepting the mattress and requesting a full refund. Ill find one somewhere else, with competent employees.

I purchased and had schedule for delivery of a mattress and box spring. I was asked to give a window for deliver which was Saturday, January 31, 2015 4-8pm. I called the 800 number at 5:30pm and was told the driver was out/on the way. I called the store (Dyckman Ave NY,NY) at 8:02pm no one had shown up or bothered to call. I was told I would be called back which I was only to be told something about a storm causing backups and the delivery men being 15 minutes behind. The storm was on Tuesday and today is Saturday cold but no precipitation at all. The sales person had the audacity to offer me a pillow, and I quote if one is available in the warehouse. I expressed that I didnt care about a pillow and wanted my deliver as soon as possible, thinking that meant early the next day Sunday, February 1, 2015. I was called back at 8:30pm and told I had been scheduled for 4-8pm during my Superbowl party. I want Sleepys to know I will NEVER shop here again and will communicate my displeasure on yelp, Angies list and everywhere else. Horrible service, horrible customer service and this from a new store which charged me $69.99 for delivery and then offered me a pillow after tying me up for not one 4 hour period, but two across as many days and ruining my Superbowl party with a bed deliver. Horrible

Buying a mattress from US-Mattress has been a nightmare. My mattress top was damaged by their shipping company and they refused to compensate me fairly. A new cover cost $539.00 and I was offered, after several phone calls, 10% of my purchase approximately $227.00 which will not cover the cost of the damage.

Went into Sleepys on 10/13/16in South Huntington, NY across from Walt Whitman Mall and had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting Rocco, that could not have been more unhelpful with picking out the correct mattress for me...I told him my budget was $500 and under for a full XL...he first showed me a mattress that was on the bottom of a bunk bed, that wasnt suitable for a 5 yr. old, then he showed me a $1300 mattress...and on and on, he had no idea of what he was doing...this guy couldnt sell a lollypop to a 3 year old.Then when I went over to a certain mattress he had the audacity to tell me that one wouldnt be good for me with my concentrated weight....my sister and I just looked at each other and asked each other if this old, ugly loser just called me fat.(although a little well endowed in the right places, I wouldnt call my self fat...and I certainly dont think he should have either.)Needless to say I will be buying my mattress else where.

Was not happy at all with the first mattress i purchased on 4/15/2016, went back 5/20/2016 and replace or purchase an upgrade mattress. The salesman that help me was SYED and he did a terrific job trying to help. He is the reason I purchased the mattress. Delivery both times was perfect and they were professional. Was not happy with the fact that they would not take back the mattress I purchased from them...not happy about that at all. So the jury is out for know about how good of a mattress is the new one I purchased. Do not expect to hear from them...but on a good note delivery was great and the salesman SYED was superb...a credit to your company. 5 stars for delivery, for SYED and not sure about the mattress and no star for not taking back the mattress.

One Star, only because you have to choose at least one to post. Bought a box spring, picked it up at a store in Nashua NH. The sales person broke the shark fin antenna off my Audi Q5 while loading it on my roof (did not allow me to help), which cost $850 to replace (it could not be repaired). I have spent 6 weeks chasing them, getting the run-around, but NO ONE has called me back. And Customer Service can do nothing but ping the people responsible. This is the poorest excuse for a company - no wonder they are changing their name.

Unlike most of the customers I am writing to thank and complimentnot only you but your salesman as well.About 61/2 years ago I purchased a king size Stearns and Foster mattress and box springs. Low and behold, both sides began to sag. We are not large people, as a matter of fact quite slim and fit. I contacted your 1-800# and asked for a rep to come to the house to check the mattress out. You usually dont do this, but I had broken my wrist and could not do all the measuring and lifting. He deemed the mattress defective and I was issued a credit. we went to Sleepys Paramus, NJ, to purchase a new one just last night. My Salesman Edgar Mendez was efficient and knowledgeable.Needless to say, we purchased a new King Coil Laura Ashley king mattress and it will be delivered on Monday. Edgar was concerned about the height of the 9 box spring and mattress - I am only 5 tall. He called me today - on his day off - to tell me that he stopped by the Paramus store to check the mattress out and told me that he thought it would be a problem. The mattress measured 6 more than my current one! He cancelled the delivery for today and ordered 2- 5 box springs which should solve the problem.Edgar was extremely accommodating and went way beyond his job description. Please let him know that I have given him high marks and your company is fortunate to have such a dedicated employee.

Updated review of Sleepys. As mentioned before Sleepys did not do anything to resolve my problem with the mattress in the form of some type of refund or exchange. Instead they offer me a credit line increase of one thousand and something. You know something Sleepys. You must take people for idiots or think they just fell off a turnip truck. I have a small outstanding balance with you guys of like $400.00 and as soon as I pay it off, I am immediately giving you a call to cancel my account and shredding to pieces your credit card. You guys disgust me. My advice to anyone contemplating buying anything from these guys is DONT once they have your money they clean their hands of any anything and everything. Sleeps I made a mistake of purchasing merchandise from you, but believe me it will NEVER EVER happen again. You guys SUCK!!!!!!Sleepys you guys are a disgrace and should be ashamed of how you conduct business. You sell crap defective merchandise and you have a bogus warranty department that when someone calls to report issue you want them to take pictures of mattress so that you can blame consumer. Dont EVER buy a mattress from this company! I purchased a $5000 Temperpedic mattress from the Sleepys in Doylestown,PA. It was horribly uncomfortable! When I requested a return I was bombarded by calls from the area manager the District manager - all pleading with me to try another mattress and they will make me a good deal! I just wanted to return the mattress! Finally after 2 months I was able to get a pick up date in early July. I expected to see the credit on the next billing cycle! it is now mid August and I am still wasting my time going back and forth trying to sort out the refund. I finally spoke to Corporate Customer Service and they are trying to help.

Had a wonderful experience on 9/2 with sales staff Daria in Poughkepsie NY. Returned on the 11th to purchase another but this time we got the sales person from HELL!!! ANDREA. She was rude, nasty, disrespectful, bullying even attempted threatning me. Really???if I could take back all of the mattresses I purched from them throughout the years I would. In spite of some of the negative reviews on the internet about Sleepys, my recent experience leads me to state that I believe this company stands behind their reputation for customer service.I bought several guest mattresses at Sleepys in Pompton Plains on 11/11/15. I also bought a new bed for wife and I at the same time - a Laura Ashley. I confess I did not really do any research on this bed, but assumed it would have to better than my 30 year old one.The delivery was fine but the bed started so sag in my spot (I am 180 lbs) within 2 weeks. I called Sleepys to complain and they promptly sent a new replacement at no charge. However the second Laura Ashley had the same problem!I am pleased to report that the issue was addressed professionally by Sleepys!!A third mattress was delivered (a different brand a foam Broyhill) which cost a bit more, but was changed out without charge as a customer courtesy service gesture.I would like to applaud the excellent customer service provided by District Manager Joan Greenwald who promptly and courteously contacted me and arranged for me to go and try out some different beds and arranged the change out.Secondly I would like to ad salesman Robert Davis for his professional demeanor and patience in showing me the various possible exchanges and Market Sales Director Ken Crivello who happened to be on site at Sleepys on Route 3 West in Clifton.

They have overnight parking if you deliver early am! 630 is when they open and takes atleast 4-5 hrs for them to unload. Food and store within .3 of a mile.
