Food sucks! The meat has after taste. I assume it was old. I gave it back and ordered Hawaiian pizza. THE DOUGH WAS RAW! THE PINE APPLE WAS RAW AND COLD!! I’m sooo disappointed! . How lovely!!

Can’t hate this place, portions are huge and the Cuban food is amazing! The only reason I’ll ever drive down towards Miami is for the food, they are all generous with portions and you can count on your food to be seasoned and taste like something!

Ive been coming here for years and everything has always been great. However, today I placed an order at 7:15pm for take out got to the restaurant at 7:48 for pick up and the lady at the window told us. There’s no order under your name. Apparently they never placed it and told us give us 15 mins and we’ll make it. I asked for the manager told him what happened and suggested we should get a discount for the inconvenience and for their error and he declined it saying it was the internet that was down and said it very rudely too. No customer service whats so ever. Honestly they lost a customer that has been coming for years and goes weekly. They need better management .

Seeing a lot of bad reviews, not sure why but guess we all have our days.First time me & my wife had it today. Was awesome food & lots of it per plate. I had breaded fish & she had chicken. Service was great no complaints at all!

Paid almost $50.00 for delivery of 2 steak sandwiches, a kids grilled chicken meal and a side of fried plantains, it really wasnt worth it. Kids chicken breast was burnt to a crisp, steaks in sandwiches were overcooked and cold, soggy lettuce and very oily, all of it. Ive ordered there before and always enjoyed the food, bad night for the cook maybe.

Wonderful place to eat the delicious Cuban Food!!! Very clean, fabulous staff and food is very good. I recommend for appetizer “The Antojitos” is my favorite. Don’t forget this place if you liked the Cuban food!!!!

Yesterday we ordered by phone our lunch. When we picked up order we were told it was complete.As we arrive home part of the order was missing. We went back and the lady in front was kind of upset and told us it was not her fault that it was the kitchen.I really dont know how you do things. All i wanted was my food. A shadow of what they used to be when they were in the smaller location.You still eat there all the time and the food was always on point. Ever since theyve switched things have been different and it shows in the quality of the food.Just ordered my usual chicken sandwich and took it home sadly to say when I opened it up Dan near half my sandwich had no chicken it was just lettuce tomato and bread with the little papitas inside.The ice cream is still good but its kind of hard to screw that up but at this point I wouldnt be surprised. 😒

We have been faithful customers for many years, but our experience has not been the best lately. First, we have had a couple of issues with our orders and the staff been so rude to the point where my husband refuses to go, then the quality of the food. Today I ordered 2 palomilla steaks, I requested to have it made at a medium temperature, both steaks were dried, cold and with a funny smell, I couldn’t eat it, it went straight to the garbage! I’m very disappointed, not sure what’s happening, but definitely not what it used to be.

We have been ordering here for years but lately the service and food has been horrible. We ordered a Crema Catalana and it came uncooked and burnt for the 3rd time in a row. When I called in they informed me that this is normal and that upper management does not come in until NEXT WEEK.

The restaurant lives to its name North Pole, that’s how it felt inside, if you’re not packing a sweater skip these one .All the workers were dressed for the cold and moving around... it was so cold that we moved seats to find a more comfortable spot... unfortunately we had a horrible lunch, couldn’t wait to get out ... the food was good ., even though we ate so fast .

Girl at the window with an attitude. Telling people to come down to have patience. When no one is rushing her. They Under staffed, also new girl being trained while they are backed up is not effective. Its dinner time they should be ready.

This is the worst customer service ever in my life . First I had to calm about 3 times before they answered the phone. When they finally answered they talk really fast and put you on hold for about 10 minutes, after you wait for that long they have an really nasty attitude like they are the only pizza place in town and you really need them. Please stay away from this ugly place . This place should be close .

I don’t know where their customer service has gone but they are the worst. On 2 separate occasions we have a placed an order for delivery and it has taken over 2 HOURS!!!! When you call they don’t answer the phone! The food gets stone cold to the house. I understand they out source their delivery to drivers like Grubhub or Doordash, and at times no drivers are in the area to pick up the order. HOWEVER, a simple courtesy. If you see that an order has been sitting for 30 mins, a nice phone call to the customer would be nice to let them know the status. At the point customer can pick up the order. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered again last night. Order was placed at 4:25PM and received it at 7:25 PM!!! Terrible service! Never ordering food from there again!

HORRIBLE!! They NEVER follow specific food instructions.I ordered food off their website for delivery it said 70 minutes for it which was ok, I put specific instructions to remove a couple things off a sandwich, when I received the sandwich it had extra of both things. I called them and they said they’d replace it and send it out with their next driver. I placed my original order at 11:42 I received it at 12:35. The replacement took them over 1 hour and a half to get to me, it was burned and soggy! At that point it was just pointless to even call to wait another 3 hours to get food.

The best place for Cuban Pizza, if you like the guava and cheese pastry you need to try the pizza 🤤They also have sweet plantains pizza.

The place is clean. The food is not bad. It has some flavor the whote rice was good, though its dry and needs more. The salmon wasnt all good either. Outback grilled is waaaaay better!

Horrible and Horrific Customer Service. Waited over 2 hours for my pick up order and NEVER received it. No one at the restaurant even picks up the phone. This is a constant issue with this establishment. I realize COVID is impacting all businesses but pick up orders should not be this difficult to execute. If the restaurant can not handle the volume then maybe they should invest in additional staff.

The person that took my order to-go didnt ask for my name just said to wait by the chairs at the entrance, 20 mins later Im still waiting for my order... how long does it take to make a banana split?? Seriously!!! I asked for my money back and the other lady that did the transaction wants to excuse them saying they were busy... no! They had more empty chairs. Whatever! They were not worth me staying as they also couldve apologized for the wait 🤷‍♀️

Usually my Cuban fix joint but I never knew they had a guava and cheese pizza! It was delicious! Tasted just like a pastelito. So good! Totally recommend! All the other Cuban food is also really good here. And fast service!

Appetizer of Cheese, Chorizo, and mariquitas was not. Good. Cheese was beaded and apparently fried in low temp; extremely greasy.Mariquitas were shreded.Took an hour to get main courses.Ive been here many times before, today was not a good day for the staff.

Great place to have all types of Cuban food. Best of all the pizzas. The staff was very accommodating and had the driven ingenuity of a team. The portions are grand so date night for 2 on just one meal might have some leftovers. The Cuban Coffee hit the spot. So enjoy this great restaurant. Also my friend told me about the background of the restaurant and they have strong bones. Coming from a small restaurant to a corner lot of a plaza.So keep prospering Polo Norte!Parking is a little difficult, but worth it.

Best Cuban pizza out there ! This place went through a total remodel and moved tight next door into a bigger space next to the original spot. The ambiance of the place is amazing and it doesnt feel like a polo norte cafeteria vibe, its like youre in this lowkey restaurant and its all so beautifully made. If I could give these placeva zero, I will definitely do so. I was in the mood for a pizza and estimated delivery time said 2:15 pm. Its almost 3 pm and still no delivery. I will never order here ever again. Im better off ordering a pizza from Little Ceasars or Dominos. At least your pizza arrives at exactly the time it should be delivered.

This is the second time it happens where we leave before the food has even come out. We got there and sat down at 5:55 and it was 7:00 and the food was still not out, the waiter kept telling us five more minutes but there was no progress. Definitely do not recommend for dine in.

Always enjoy the food from Polo Norte. Both the Latin and Italian are delicious. We order online and pickup often. Ive had some extra wait time the past few orders though. 30 minutes late last week and 20 this week. They also left out the maduros from the order.

This is legitimately the worst place you could ever order food from. Ive never been to a place where every single experience is negative and every single experience is worse than the last one. Ive ordered from here a handful of times. And every single time has been absolutely horrendous. They always get your order wrong. They always are very late with your order. The food is always cold and never tastes fresh. I will never order from this place again. I put myself through enough anguish already.

Polo Norte is a great Cuban restaurant. It serves yummy Cuban dishes quickly and at affordable prices.The staff is very nice and the ambience is really nice. The food is the best.You can’t go wrong here. Try it out. They serve great food here.

Place an order and it took them 2 hours and 45 minutes to deliver. The food was very cold and bad, the malteada shake wasnt a shake anymore, more like a juice and the cup was almost empty, not even half. This is the 3rd time we have a really bad experience with them. Wont buy from Polo Norte again.

Its not good as what I expected ... lettuce looks not fresh . Salmon is dry. Bistek is so dry .

Worst experience ever. I ordered at 5:18 p.m 2 personal pizzas for delivery. I was told delivery would be at 6:23 p.m. I called at 6:24 just to make sure the order was on the way. I was told that the order was almost being delivered and 8:00 p.m came and still no food. I called and they said the order was changed to delivery because every order that comes in through online needs to be transcribed by a person and they must’ve accidentally changed it. No one called me to advise me of this change and my parents were waiting for their food for hours. Instead of them taking responsibility, and asking if they could refund us and still give us our pizza, like a business owner should do, they said what do you want us to do? Cancel or deliver? Worst customer service ever. I will never buy from these people again.

Pizza and overall food is good but service can be sluggish to say the least. While I was eating my waitress sat down to eat with a group of other waitresses and she didnt even bother to look that I had finished and that I was waiting for her or anyone that can help me, I ended up leaving without ordering dessert because we wouldve been there forever.

If I could rate this place a zero star I would. I have had multiple issues with this place and I still try to give them the benefit of the doubt but they proved to be disappointing. Ordered an order today online at 5:18 for delivery. The order stated delivery by 6:23. I called at 6:30 and was told the driver was on the way. It is now 8:00pm and my order never arrived. When I called, they told me “it was just that our staff entered the order wrong And put it as pick up”. I’m not a business professional but common sense tells me if you mess up, you should offer the customer their order free of charge. Instead I was offered to cancel my order or have my order delivered without a reduction. Stay away from this place, service is awful and clearly management does not give a ....

Great food...I would give a 4 or 5 star...except that service has gone down significantly since they opened the new place. Servers seem confused and make a lot of mistakes or take very long to bring the check or dessert for that matter. If you want great food at fair prices youre going to need to pack some patience in your wallet.

The service here was terrible. I came here with my girlfriend to have a decent dinner and didnt even remotely enjoy our first experience. We only saw our waitress once and when I called on someone (who I believe is the manager) for some sauce, he gave a face while he walked away and never came back. When it comes to the food, it was mediocre at best. I couldnt even wait for a waitress to bring us the check because I couldnt wait to get out of this place so I had to pay with the cashier at the front who was the only person who gave us a smile at all. Dont waste your time here, youre better off going to the subway next door to this place.

Before the covid We used to go and the food and service was good. Now with the take out experience very dissapointed.we ordered a chiken soup and after 30 minutes was not ready. Finally the soup was could and does not looks like was fresh.

Horrible service!!!.An hour to pick up 4 side orders.I called at 6:46pm and leaving now at 7:54pm,just to pick up a take out order .This place used to be good when it was smaller and Rene was the manager.Also food quality has downgraded big time.Not coming back, just another greasy food factory.

About 7 months ago, they moved to the corner of the shopping center, and the new location is a huge improvement, a lot bigger and nicer. Customer service has also improved greatly, and service has became even faster. I do have to say, however, their pizza could be better; I know its supposed to be the typical Cuban pizza, but it has too much breading and not enough flavor, using a higher quality cheese would definitely help. Prices are ok, approximately $20.00 per person. Pretty good in general.

The food is great but, for the second Saturday I go in the morning when we are practically the onlyOnes there. The service is horrible we are seated then have to wait a very long time to ask for our orders. Once we place our orders we won’t see the sever for about 10 minutes when there are about 4-5 servers just standing around talking and doing nothing at all. When the food has arrived I’ll never see the Sever again. I had to get up and ask for my check because it was getting Ridiculous how we were waiting.They don’t even look at the tables so if you are trying to get there attention for a refill or anything you are I need of they won’t see you. Management I love the Resturant vibe but, maybe it’s time to train employees or find other ones. I don’t want you to lose business over stupidity.

My husband and I order from here often but I really think we’re giving up. They just can’t seem to get it together. Something is ALWAYS wrong. We always find ourselves calling back because either they forgot to deliver a side or the chicken wasn’t fully cooked or they delivered the wrong pizza. Since they changed managers the food has lost its quality as well.Instead of moving to a bigger and fancier location, they should work on getting employees and chefs that can get simple orders right.If you really like Polo Norte, it’s worth taking the drive to 2050 W. 56 Street. This happens to be the father of the owner of this one in Palm Springs North. It’s a HUGE difference.

Always full but staff is incredibly fast and friendly. Food is good and consistent. Prices are reasonable. At the current location, there is no room for groups bigger than 4. Only an half dozen tables.

Tequenos were cold and not fully cooked through. They serve you dough. The quality of the coffee taste god awful they give you 90% milk the other 10% is coffee. You’re basically drinking milk. Customer service was terrible.

Inwas traveling through and stopped here bc the menu looked so good! Bc of covid-19 though, there was only pizza available. The staff was friendly though, and then menu was extensive so Ill definitely give it another shot!

Very at home atmosphere, attentive waitress, delicious food and exquisite Cuban flavored ice cream (mamey, mango, coconut (my very favorite) the very best coconut ice cream (its exactly like eating a real coconut I love it!!!).

Dont waist your time and money here. The service is horrible. We decided to give them another try and order delivery. It took over an hour and they only delivered one order not the two we ordered. When I called to complain the woman started arguing with me I only ordered one. She said she would place the other order but it would take another hour to arrive, when I asked to speak with the manager he didnt even have the decency to get on the phone to rectify the issue. I had to put my husband on the phone and he forcefully asked the lady to put the manager on the phone when he finally decided to answer his remedy was to take delivery charge off what an insultNeedless to say the steak was cold and hard
