I absolutely despise going to Walmart. Do not like the type of people that frequent Walmart at all yet my wife insists on using their curbside services. The employees working the curbside services for the most part are very pleasant and quick. Orders have been fulfilled correctly for the most part with some exceptions to orders that suddenly had items removed from the confirmed order (we werent charged for them but still odd). Only one instance where I had to deal with some punk employee who had an attitude. Aside from that not a bad experience. I however refuse to enter any Walmart establishment.

I absolutely love the curb side pick up service. Ive been very happy with the shoppers who fill my order & generally make excellent substitutions if an item is unavailable that I had ordered. The associates that bring your order to the curb are always friendly & professional. Thumbs up to Hesperia Walmart! 👍

I do the majority of my in-person shopping at this store, as its convenient to buy my pet supplies, home supplies, and food, all in one place, and the items cost a lot less than Stater Bros or Target. There are a few reasons for only giving this store a 2 star rating. First of all, they almost never have more than 3-4 check stands open at one time, even if theres 20+ people in each line. Every Target location Ive ever been to, when the lines are getting long, they pull other workers and have them immediately open more check stands. Not Walmart. They dont seem to mind when theres 20-30 people in each line, and the lines are literally wrapping to the back of the store. Not even during a deadly pandemic, where were supposed to be social distancing, does Walmart try to quickly get people checked out. If you mistakenly go there anywhere near the first week of the month, it gives me Black Friday flashbacks. Secondly, even before the pandemic, this Walmart is terrible at keeping items in stock. Often, things are out of stock for weeks at a time. Thirdly, they keep locking up more and more items. It used to be only electronics, which I get. But now its like half their store. Im not waiting 10 minutes for a worker to come over and open the glass for a $3 bottle of shaving cream, or an .89¢ bottle of aspirin. So I do ALL my laundry, health, beauty and personal care shopping at Target, where they dont treat every customer as though theyre criminals. Which brings me to my fourth reason for such a low rating. Walmarts receipt checking as you leave the store. By law, you dont HAVE to stop and allow them to check your receipt. I comply just because I dont want to deal with the drama, but just know that you dont HAVE to. Target doesnt check your receipts. They actually make you feel like valued customers, not like criminals. Finally my 5th and final reason for rating this store so low is the workers. Unlike at Target where every single worker has a wonderful attitude, and at least appears to enjoy their jobs, the workers at Walmart all seem miserable. You feel like youre inconveniencing them, just by shopping there. There are of course, rare exceptions. Like the older woman working in the garden section. She was so nice, and so helpful, I had to look around and make sure I wasnt really at Target. The very second I can afford to solely shop at Target, Ill do so, and never look back. In the meantime, Ill continue to suffer through shopping at Walmart a few times a month.

Absolutely the best steak house to venture out to. We had a crazy variety as usual. Between the 4 of us we had just a taste of everything. Not quite but....the steak fries came recommended as an app and I am forwarding that. They know how to make you smile. Bar was like cheers kind of. This is a definite recommend! You wont be disappointed.

Its Walmart you already know how it is. But out of all the Walmarts I go to this is one of the better ones around here always clean, has more than one cashier open and stocked shelfs.

I have always been a Walmart shopper. But I have noticed lately some of the workers there arent as helpful as before. I understand that the cashiers arent supposed to pack your items in the bags you bring. But, some of them dont help you pack your cart with the bags you buy, they just are going through the motions.

Staff is very helpful. This store is very organized

Wow! My husband forgot to grab his cash back from the self service register. An awesome customer turned it in unknown to us or customer service. A manager promptly reviewed the security footage while we waited. The money had been given to the correct 0eople and he got his $100 back.

Zombies work here. Never any response from customer service in-store or over the phone. Ring ring, ring ring, ring ring, ring ring, ring ring....and heres a free giggle.... It took them a good upwards of quarter hour to find a special key for bike lubricant behind a glass case that was locked o_OThe lube must be dangerous and needed high security clearance or something..

This “body” throws out everything that has not eaten and glasses of unfinished drinks out the window. just all the rubbish flies out the window! his girlfriend with pigtails. hero of the day.

Still trying to figure out how I gave them a 5 star when I didnt review them.. so I have updated it today to a 1 as it should be. They really need to retrain a lot of staff. A simple battery core return was a total nightmare for the $12 refund.

Saw a lady with no shoes or pants but overall pretty good experience

I was going rate 1 star, because I waited 1 solid hour to have somebody come and help me in the paint department. Three people came and said: Ill somebody to come help! Nothing, finally this big guy who used to work here, now does automotive came to help. He was the only person in the store who could mix paint. Anyway, it took 3 tries because the computer was messing up the mix, and finally got what I needed. This guy brought in the next 3 stars. This guy really takes genuine pride in his work and work ethic. Wish I could remember his name, big guy with facial hair and tattoos. Great attitude, here for the customers, I think he worked at Lowes, their loss.

I love this Walmart good price/cost plus tax. They are good people customers friendly help where area at. 🙂

Its walmart, not much to say, however this walmart has a pretty cool feature in the parking lot. They have a large area of the parking lot where they have installed solar panels on large poles and are connected in a way that provides what amounts to very large car ports which provide a nice shady place to park your car, which is really great up here. Nice touch, Walmart!

I waited over 20 mins for someone to assist me in the alcohol section, because thats the only way to get it now. I finally got fed up and left without it. I ended up buying it at ride aide where I had no problems with my purchase.

Dont by the ice cream, it will melt by the time you get thru one of the two open cashiers out of 15. Then get harrased at the door trying to leave,,,because everyone is trying to boost from Walmart. Not only this Walmart but all of them should appreciate their customers a little more

The location is good and they have a lot of items but some of the staff is really rude like i asked one of them if they had an specific item and she just hung up on me. I asked another women and she started yelling at me and told me to talk to the manager or whatever.

Walmart is on the downward trend, no help for low totem associates, no merchandise filled in shelves because they depend on a robot to do their restocks. This company is a joke. Amazon is slowly diverting them down the same path as Sears. The money I save shopping here is not worth the headache.

This review is for the Hesperia location and the one on Amargosa by the mall. I really liked shopping here but it seems to have of changed. I am disabled and I see cars parked illegally in handicap spots without a placard or the handicap license plates. I used to be able to find the electric carts every time I go but the last 7-8 times Ive gone, there are none. The last time I went, I didnt even see someone riding them. I dont know if people stole them or they broke down but they need replacing. I cant do all the shopping I want to because my knees and hips start hurting so bad. I have a walker but I still cant walk through the whole store. Lines are always horrendous and take forever. Having to have someone unlock a case to get Motrin is bad. I understand theft is bad but someone should be in the area to help you. I love that I can shop for everything I need but I just cant shop there as much as Id like.

Lady shut the lane down and claimed she told everyone shes closing the lane, as she left the register everyone was able to see she enjoyed making everyone upset. The lines are always long, and frozen food melts before you can even leave the store!!! Walmart gets worse and worse every year

My go to store when Im out and about because I can usually find what Im looking for at a decent price. Highly recommend these mainstays fragrant candles they last a long time!

Everytime I go here no one is ever able to help me. Especially in the phone department. The company premier that sells the cell phones inside the walmart screws up everything. They were supposed to port my number into the New phone that I bought from them and they never did it. They tried putting a t mobile sim card into a sprint phone.

Honestly, I havent shopped at Walmart for groceries in a long time. But...I forgot how good their prices are. I got way more for my money than I have in a long time! Only thing they need to work on, is more people at the registers!

Walmarts offer everything you need groceries home applliances,,car maintenance, outdoors,sporting goods, beauty, stationary,home furniture, clothing for the entire family,shoes,money center, beauty salon, eye exams pharmacy etc...you name it they have it. if you cant find it in the store you can always order online

Pick up these two winter sweaters for the twins Raxs and Claxs for a real bargain, amazing! Claxs refuse to let me come near him to take it off, that’s how much he loves it, but it’s so filthy already ahahahalolhahah

We all love Walmart. With this pandemic I have been able to get my groceries and everything that I need without leaving my home. Their delivery service has been outstanding.

I love Wal-Mart & this is one of the nicer ones in the high desert (always a great selection of things I need) but Customer Service is run by incompetent people - they need to overhaul that department including the managers that run it, to people who actually know what theyre doing.

If I could give no stars, I would. Terrible customer service skills and low employee count. Shelves are never stocked and at this filecity they never have anything that is needed. I DO NOT recommend shopping here.

IDK why every time I go to Walmart for over the counter medication 💊 its a while for someone to show up or no one shows up at all. What is the use of having the help button if no one comes to assist?🤷‍♀️

Whenever I visit this Walmart the lines are blocking every intersection near the front registers, and fill the womens clothes section to the changing rooms. Apparently they either need new management or more cashiers. I would use self check out if I werent buying beer to forget the hastle of having to shop here.

Limited scooters for handicapped. Temp of 104 and they have winter clothing and limited summer clothing.

Im giving walmart on main st Hesperia ca a 1 star because I waited 30 minutes for an employee to come open the dressing rooms . But nobody ever I came . I am a patient person but I think its ridiculous. Just put a sign up that says dressing rooms are closed . I would not have stayed there if this was the case. Other employees said someone would come ??

Don’t go after 6. We stood in line for 55 minutes, we started to time it after we had stood for 15 minutes. They only had two cashiers open, one of which was on her phone helping the SAME costumer for the Entirety of of our waiting. I finally went and asked two women at customer service if there was any way they could open up any other registers because we have been waiting for so long, and the line was so bad it was starting to wrap around all of the clothes racks and into the back isles, the lady rolled her eyes at me and said we have everyone working that we can. And as soon as I mentioned that we work for Instacart and that it was starting to affect our money all of a sudden they had four more registers open. But the staff is rude and incompetent. They didn’t know how to ask for change and we’re not prepared.

I love pick up when I dont feel like dealing with people.

As far as Walmarts go here in the High Desert, the one on Main Street consistently seems the best! Its always clean and neat and tends to be better stocked and stocked more often. Ive found items here that the other locations do not seem to carry and the staff seem quicker to open the locked cabinets. Overall my first choice of locations.

This is a very clean, well stocked Walmart. It is a supercenter located at the end of Main st. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful, also they are in abundance. Rarely have a hard time finding someone to ask for assistance.

Nobody knows anything who works there. All they ever say is dont you have the app on your phone so you can find everything yourself. So rude 😒

Usually When I visit this Walmart I have a pretty good experience. However today was just not the best day I guess. I had asked several people to help me unlock the cabinet so I could get things that were locked up and they responded that they were busy or that they didnt have the keys. It was also very hard to try to find somebody to get assistance. But I did get everything that I needed to get and I use self-checkout and I had about 50 items so over all my visit at this Walmart wasnt that bad this time

I mostly go here to use the Restroom MOST OF THE TIME THEYRE CLEAN ENOUGH TO USE !Buy Grapes With Seeds& For A Few More Items That Are $2-$3 CHEAPER THAN EVEN THE NON-MARKET WALMARTS

Dont have a lot of stuff that amargosa WalMart . Customer service can be a little rude.

Lines are always forever long. But depending on which department you are shopping in you usually get fast customer service. The door people are hit n miss with there duty to check receipts....so theres traffic jams at the doors.

It was good, but only two registers open, self checkout packed, all the stacking people, was working and so rude all over the isles, trying to unload the boxes, was annoying.

Im trying out the Walmart plus. I like the free shipping. The pickup at the store is easy and fast.

Not enough employees. The ones we actually were able to find were very friendly and attempted to be helpful. Waiting for half and hour to check out or receive help in a specialty dept is rediculous.

Mention Walmart and I cringe, place is so popular its always packed. Took my step-father, mid 80s for a new electric razor. We got in, even did a little grocery shopping, and got out. It was on a Friday about 12p a d not too bad. That store has evetything.

Cashiers have been nice, but getting customer service throughout the store is damn near impossible, and when you do find someone who works there, it seems like youre bothering them. Lines are crazy too. They need to open up more registers.

I can depend on this store to carry what I need. One-stop shopping. Hope McDonalds Restaurant comes back.

As far as Walmart goes its not bad. Recently this location has gotten some new blood and the hustle and focus on some of these new girls is really amazing. I know I cant name drop, but one sold me a rifle in sporting goods and the other works up front, the time I spent in line she must have been back and forth a dozen or more times. Really hard workers especially with Covid and all the supply issues. I wish theyd open the automotive entrance again though.

The Money Center just so happened to close early so that was not a great way to start off...But its Walmart so what can one expect...And it closed two hours before the posted time!!!

Its well kept and clean. Looks like shelves are replenished through out the day. Restrooms have minor problems; every walmart seems to have that, still one of my top 5. Depends on your luck when working there; my experience was a lot of favoritism and back stabbing. Do not regret my attitude against them.

Store needs to have more cashiers open. Only about six registers open whenever we go there, and lines are 14 customers deep. In addition gather up your shopping carts Walmart, dont tell the customer they have to go out to the parking lot to get their own shopping cart. Maybe store needs a new manager. Its about time to take our business elsewhere.

Hey you know its Walmart your standard lackluster shopping experience. Try the 50 cent Mini cherry pie. A delicious road home snack. Just talking about it makes me want to go back for more. At 300 plus calories though you have to limit yourself to 12 for your daily calories.

As per a new employee this Walmart doesnt have a dedicated Clearance section; clearance areas are set within each household area; kitchen, electronics, bath... would be nice to see clearance location inside one isle labeled so to be easy to locate; preferably near the entrance. Thus is why only 4 star rating. Thank you Walmart.

This Walmart is the worst. Shelves are never fully stocked the lines to check out are ridiculously long and they never remove shopping carts from the parking lot, they often leave them lined up in the roadway making it near impossible to get around let alone if your vehicle happens to be one they leave them behind.

Very clean, employees are very kind and helpful. But when you want to buy legos, there are glass doors and when you want someone to open them, they take forever to get there.
