I bought a casette adapter for my phone here and when i got to my car i realized there was nothing in the package. When i returned to the store, the manager was very patient and understanding and helped me replace the adapter with an even better one. Very professional!

Nice to have this store so close. Its always clean, is well stocked, and the employees are not only be helpful, but they seem to like what they do. Yesterday I had a generator installed at my house and needed the battery to start the motor. A quick call confirmed they had the right size in stock (4 actually) and I picked it up 10 minutes later.

Just your typical autozone. It was very clean and the sales associates were very helpful.

Updating my rating to not spoil the overall ratings. Went to a different Autozone who helped me out after my visit here. Communication should have been better instead of a fixed we dont do xyz, atleast try to understand or suggest what can be done.

Since I have discovered that Store Manager Scott and I share a passion for Jeep Wranglers, I have not been anywhere else before checking in with him and the staff at AutoZone. They help me make the best decision about taking care of my 13 year old JK. This place has a good availability of parts in stock and good prices. But, its best not to go here if you are in a rush, plan to have some patience. The staff is friendly, relatively knowledgeable and very helpful.

Immediately upon entering the store greeted by CSR #1. Asked if I needed help finding what I needed. CSR walked me to the isle and shelf for Ultra Shine & Wax. He answered my questions about the product and walked me to a check out register to process my purchase. At the same time he helped me sign up for a rewards account. This was a very efficient and enjoyable shopping experience.

I have had a terrible experience. I went to buy oil and filter and an employee treated me very badly, starting by saying that he did not listen to me, I asked him for a catalog of the store and I threw it away, leaving me his help attending the next customer, I claimed that I was first and told me to complain the client did not help me at all and sold me the most expensive product

I asked for help with a simple license plate screw, and never received any type of assistance, terrible customer service.

I just had the most pleasant experience at this store. I live walking distance from a competitor, but after horrible service I drove to this location-a 10 min drive. I was highly impressed with the gentleman who assisted me. I believe his name was Scott! I was frazzled, from my experience at the other retailer. He was patient, put my worries at ease, and highly professional. I WILL drive further now just for that kind of customer service!

Auto Zone provides you with the accurate part that you are looking for your car. The attendants are somewhat knowledgeable, if you get lucky to grab their attention. The prices on average are higher than in Internet. You would prefer to browse before going, the difference could be interesting. If you are looking for parts like windshield wipers you have the advantage of being installed by the attendant. They can also check whats wrong with your vehicle via a device. Be aware it isnt always accurate.

A young guy was very very helpful and guided me through the fast and efficient process of using my existing guarantee to change/swap my damaged battery for a new one at no cost (since it was still inside the guarantee). Complete and utter lack of customer service. Waited over 15 minutes as the first person in line waiting to buy one thing, but no one ever came to ring anyone up. After probably 20 minutes total of waiting, when seven customers had lined up waiting to check out, another customer left. The other customer remarked to one of the employees on his way out that their customer service was terrible. The employee responded by insulting and cursing at the customer. Threatening to come where [the customer] worked and complain about [his] customer service.Im very tolerant of poor customer service, but when an employee insults a customer, theyve crossed a line. I dropped what I would have purchased and left.I would give this store zero stars if I could. Avoid it at all costs. There is somewhere nearby more deserving of your money.

Extremely helpful! Needed to replace a headlight, the assistant store manager Michael not only made sure we got the right one, but he installed it for us as well at the store! Unreal! Almost always has something similar to what you need in stock. Consistently out of stock on almost every standard light bulb Ive ever needed (but K-Mart had them!). Service can be slow, but once its your turn attendants are very helpful. Free oil recycling is a bonus.

Please be careful when you buy battery from Autozone from Herndon on Elden st. All team members (gents and ladies ) are crook.Bought battery around Dec. 2016. Three weeks back I had to jump start my car. My mechanic checked alternator, wiring, starter, charged the battery etc. Finally he said it is battery issue. I dropped the battery last week and they put the battery on charge in front of me. I said take your time but give the results. Today I went to check the status. They checked the battery and it was holding 57% charge. I asked them how come battery lost the charge if it was fully charged by you last week. They did not have any answer. I said did you checked the battery, they did not have the answer. I said you like to give run around to the customer and they did not have any answer.I knew that the crooked lady who was serving today was lying and I do not want to argue over $80.Finally I took the battery and said buy forever to this store. They lost my business

Poorly managed. The manager routinely is ignoring the slow service and long lines.Most times can be found behind the stock shelves at the desk doing “commercial” accounts. Corporate needs to look closer b:c you are loosing so many sales to competitors.

Helpful and a very decent selection of parts or the ability to order them. Be warned, if you park in the parking lot when a festival is going on, they might tow you for no reason, like 3 people I observed get towed while shopping.

Incompetent staff. Took them forever to find my order (because all of the Auto Zone employees throw every order under an old address even though Ive told them as much several times over) and acted as if everything was my fault. I purchased a battery and asked them to install it since I was on travel in the VA area. They intstantly hit me with a $3.00 charge for a stupid terminal install kit after I just spent $162.00 on a crappy Duralast Battery. Needless to say I found this to be scam as my battery is a side post and their kit included the stupid felt rings which would not have prevented any corrosion. I argued with them over this and initially relented as I didnt have any tools with me and gave them $4.00 cash. Then the manager speaks up and says If you give me your license, Ill loan you the tools and I responded with Sure. They give me some tools out of their kit and I had to come back in for different sizes and of course the manager keeps talking to me like I am stupid because he feels the original size tools they issued should be the correct size even though they didnt give me the size I requested. He didnt seem to understand the battery hold down was 12 mm and I needed that to get the core battery out. Once the batteries had been swapped out, I asked for my $4.00 back (battery install kit) and of course both of the employees looked at me like Im stupid. I ended up leaving because it would have been too hard to explain to them how merchandise purchasing (or the lack of purchasing a gimmick install kit) works. They kept my 4 dollars and I walked out vowing to never by a product from them again.

The line to get parts (alternator, starter, ect . . .) and the line to check out with some fuses and windshield washer fluid should be separate. It shouldnt be a thirty minute trip to get a couple of the shelf items.

Like someone else said, service is sloooooooow. But, theyre actually pretty helpful.Call ahead, they seem to pay more attention to people on the phone than in the store.

I went in for a battery replacement. They priced matched me with a Walmart brand. I proceed to ask him for a 10% discount through my work coupon and he laughed in my face and told me do you want me to give you the battery for free. He was very rude ( Scott ) and not customer friendly. Then said that I was laughing in his face. Wth! I was very kind and polite to him. Worst experience I have ever had with a store. I will be contacting corporate. Scott I hope you are reading this, so this can be a lesson to treat your customers with respect.

Autozone Herndon...great service, courteous. Walked in the door and thwy offered help immediately. Helped me find the part i needed, made recommendations and even changed a headlamp bulb for me. Total time was less than 29 minutes including install. Wonderful!

Scott needs more training, he is always in a hurry that resulting to negative outcome which is bad for this store.

Battery dead needed replacement. I have rav4 the part that holds battery in under hard plastic they wouldnt remove due to liability ie didnt know how....went home talked to roommate all u need is flathead screwdriver to pop whats holding it down up....glad it happened Walmart is cheaper anyways!!!

Terrible shopping center to shop at during Herndon festival. I was in auto zone, got towed. Henrys said I left the shopping center I had a receipt with a time stamp that proved I was there when my car was towed. Had to pay $160.00 to get my car back.Dont shop here...ever

I used to come here about three times a week for parts, and now it seems the customer service has gotten worse. The people who work here have a nasty attitude and then dont care about helping you as they used to.

Not in the most appealing part of town, but surprisingly the several times Ive gone in the store that staff are very helpful and nice.

Today, I went into the store trying to buy fog lights for my dad, and Jackline A was the one helped me telling me there didnt have the kinds I was looking for, but was very helpful trying to looked it up in their system for me.Somehow, after that, Ive asked if she could help me check on my battery, and starter because I was having issues and needed to know, if I would need to replace then and there. A day, prior to that, I had gone to Advanced Auto in Sterling had them check all of them with they machine and it all came out GOOD, but today, went into Auto Zone it turned out having a bad battery, so Jackline helped me pick out the cheapest price but a good one, and took her time to installing the battery for me. We had, some problem with getting it to started due to the previous owner had installed a car alarm, which I didnt know, so it conflicted with the battery issued; but she wouldnt give up went inside to get something out to put it and tight it to where it would start and run smoothly.Thank Jackline for all the extra hard work and miles youve gone out to helping out a helpless gal didnt know anything about car and was scared being stuck out of nowhere not knowing the battery was bad. I recommended anyone coming inside that store in Herndon to asked for Jackline A for assistant. Also, I highly recommended her for a RAISE and PROMOTION, too.Kaylee T.

Went today to pick up a few things for my car. The store was empty except for one other customer. Parts guy was on the phone. I stood alone in line for 10 minutes waiting for service. I even walked over to make eye contact with the guy on the phone, and tried to make contact with two of the employees walking behind the counter. Nobody ever acknowledged me at all. Nada. How do you stay in business? I guess they dont rely on customers in the store.I walked out and will try a competitor later today.
