My refrigerator quit working over the Labor Day weekend. When I phoned Tuesday morning, I was told the soonest they could get to my house was the next Monday. Luckily I was able to get another service provider to come on Tuesday. Only then did Harris say they had an opening the next afternoon. Not reliable, so take your chances.

Scheduled service for my range and stove for a Tuesday, they came the Friday before. Luckily someone was home to let them in. Only looked at one of the 2 issues I had the service scheduled for. The part was ordered in early December... I still have yet to receive a follow up call that the part has arrived 6 months later! Ill never, ever reccomend this place to anyone. Yes, it has since been fixed.

Purchased a washer dryer refrigerator and television in November 2020. Everything was supposed to come in January then was delayed multiple times to February then multiple times to March and then now to April. I understand the demand is outweighing the supply but why promise delivery dates? The real reason for the 1 star review is their customer service. Every time I called in and spoke with various people they made me feel like I was in the wrong? They were very short and always in a bad mood. The final straw is when I called to get a $300 refund back to my credit card and again was met with a rude customer service agent named Barbara. She spoke down to me and was very condescending. I used them only because a family friend has connections to Harris and I personally prefer to support local small businesses. This was all after I spent $7,000 with them. That will be the last penny ever spent there.

Outstanding customer service. I filled out a form online asking for help with my dyer, they responded within a few hours and had someone to my house in 3 days. The repairman was SO nice, kept his mask on the whole time, was honest, and very helpful. Sadly my dryer needs replaced, but if I ever have any other appliances in need of service, they will be my first call.

Service Tech came within a week of my phone call re: my clothes dryer not working. Had to wait 2 weeks for parts to arrive and repair to be completed. Service tech on time. He was polite and professional. Initially, we were told that it would probably be a week. When it exceeded that time, I called and a woman answered. She said they would call me when the parts came in and the techs check every a.m. for the parts. We were not advised of this process. The woman who answered my call was very brief with me and discourteous.Because the tech was so professional, I would use Harris again but would request exact information re: their processes.

During the pandemic they were the only business who was still able to appliances in stock. The big stores advertised a large selection but required 6-8 weeks delivery. We did experience a defect with product shortly after purchase, however, Harris sent out a repairman to correct the problem free of charge. Unfortunately, the part is on backorder and we are unable to use our appliance and the repair is made.

I called to schedule appointment today a little after store opening (12pm) and spoke with a representative from the Harrisburg location hoping to drop my TV off. The Rep ask if I could bring it after 3pm fine then the call went down hill once he knew what I needed repaired Rep asked me what was wrong with TV. Rep said it wouldnt be worth bring in. How would u know if you didnt look at it first? Lastly he was going to put me on hold but heard my response okay and all I heard was okay the call was ended.This call last all but 3min Wow. I guess business is good to turn away a potential customer.

My landlord had the washer replaced and two young guys were sent from Harris TV and Appliance to take the old one and install the new one. They were fantastic, quick, and nice. Unfortunately Im not used to the new way of things with COVID-19 and forgot to tip them or get their names. Tried calling the office to leave them a tip but was unable.

They know exactly what appliances you need! Very reliable shop with excellent personnel. Currently you need to make an appointment and no more than 2 people can enter in your party. Plenty of parking. Great selection.

I was so pleased with the service and the time taken while I was looking at the different dishwasher models. They were very reasonable and the price for installation and warranty cant be beat.Installation was timely, and the service technician was friendly and patient. I am so pleased with my dishwasher. My 20 year old self would be eye rolling me with how excited I am about my new appliance.

We went to Harris to look at new dishwashers and were very pleased with the knowledge of our salesperson, Matt. We shopped around and Harris had the best prices, even better than the big box stores. The technician, Peter, did a fantastic job. Our previous dishwasher had not been installed correctly and Peter took his time and was able to fix everything so that the new dishwasher could be installed properly. Harris was able to deliver the dishwasher within a few days of the order. We’ll definitely be repeat customers and it feels great to support a local business.

We could not be more pleased with our experience with Harris Appliance. At the store, Matt was extremely helpful in locating a model that met our needs and budget (a Kitchen Aid). And a not-so-easy installation went off flawlessly.We explained to Matt how the prior owner of our home had tiled over the original floor, meaning the dishwasher was basically bricked in, requiring (at least last time when we used a big-box installer) the removal of three large, custom-cut, tiles by a flooring company before installation and installation of new custom-cut tiles after. It was a hassle and quite the extra expense that we were not excited to experience again. To our surprise, Matt said he knew just the person for the job: Bill.The installation team from Harris was absolutely wonderful. I told Bill that Matt had said that if anyone on the planet could do this install without ripping out those tiles, it was him (but no pressure). Matt was right: Bill and his colleague Peter completed the installation with the tiles in place!(As a side note, it was great to see Bill, who was the more experienced person, share his knowledge and experience with Peter.)Also worth mentioning: the installation team arrived well within the estimated window and worked diligently and neatly. They were in and out, challenging job successfully done, in maybe 1.5 hours.In our age of big-box stores and fierce internet competition, only the best local TV and appliance businesses survive. Harris TV and Appliance is one such company. I wholeheartedly recommend Harris TV and Appliance to anyone within driving distance (stores in Harrisburg and Camp Hill) in need of a new appliance or a repair.

We needed a new dishwasher and made the rounds of the Big Box stores, searched on-line, etc. Decided to check at Harris. Prices were competitive but the extras like the install kit (hose) and haul away of old dishwasher were free making the bottom line the lowest we found. They arranged no interest financing while we were there. Installers arrived right on schedule, cleaned up when they finished and gave us a lesson on the units features. Next time we need an appliance it will be our first stop.

0n 8/29/18 in the mid afternoon we were greeted by a man setting back of the sales desk, we ask if they could check our microwave oven from our RV. NOT RV Friendly. What happen to being nice, polite to your customers, evidently this guy missed that class. missed out on a new appliance sale. you now they will tell you that RV appliance are built special. do some research.

Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. These people will hold you hostage all day long. They told me between 8 and 12 and now it is 8 and 4. Was supposed to call me with a time on Saturday and they did not. I called them Sunday and they gave me 8 to 12. The ONLY reason I called them was because I heard they do really good work. If their workers are anything like the customer service reps, I will stop payment on the check.

I wouldnt recommend. They came out to look at my Samsung refrigerator because it was not making ice unless I reset the ice maker every few days. They installed a complete new ice maker for $267 and a few days later no ice unless I reset it. They came back under warranty and after about 5 minutes at my home and never testing anything else the tech said I needed a control board for another $157. I called the main office and spoke to management about this. I was told that in some Samsung refrigerators they recommend that you do both parts. I was not told this from the first tech that was out originally. I expressed my concerns to management and said for the amount for those two parts I would have just reset it every few days. I was told that I would have to eat the costs for both parts. Customer service is non existent. They troubleshot the wrong part and now I am out almost $300 and still have a broken ice maker. I could have troubleshot better by watching a You Tube video.

I had an LG Dehumidifier that was recalled by the manufacturer. They sent us to Harris TV and appliance in Harrisburg near Walmart. We dropped the dehumidifier off to be repaired, but Harris said they could not work on it until we showed them a receipt of purchase. LG said that we did not need one, so I called LG and they cleared it up with Harris. It has been over a month, I have called Harris at least 4 times. They were waiting on parts to repair it before, then got the parts in, then 2 more weeks, and now they say they need to replace the whole unit, but need to see a receipt. On the LG website, it says a receipt is not necessary as long as we register with LG. We registered with LG when we submitted the recall. So now Harris has had our dehumidifier for almost 2 months and is unwilling to give us a new or repaired on because of a lack of receipt and their contract with LG. This has taken a long time, and the person on the phone is not helpful and doesn't seem to know anything about what is going on. I am very upset with the service of Harris TV and Appliance right now.Update: I called LG to work this situation out. They offered to send me shipping labels so that I could mail the dehumidifier to them for a free replacement. When I picked the unit up to take home, the lady at harris was very rude and not helpful and told me that they would send a bill for the diagnostic that took them 2 months to perform.

I broke a cable connector on my LG Smart TV so TV was disabled. I spoke to a young lady that answered the phone. She walked me through a fix for my problem and I wasnt even a customer! I know where Im going for my next TV or appliance and you should too.
