We made an appointment (I definitely recommend) and they took us right on time! They might not be the fastest but they helped us with a problem nobody else could find. They have always dealt squarely with us and are the only place I trust in this area.

I went during a busy time of the day, but the employee checking in my vehicle knew exactly what vehicles in line, what they were going in for and how that would affect my time frame. I was able to get in and get the work done quickly because of how they had everything worked out. I am and was very pleased.

First and foremost, Chris and his team at this location are what right looks like. Professional and courteous service. Whether there for a vehicle inspection or to get work done, Chris and his team will get you in and out nice and quick. While I waited on my vehicle to get worked on, I observed Chris demonstrate the same courtesy and professionalism to every customer that arrived. He also listened to each customers specific needs and questions (mine included of course) and provided appropriate recommendations based on both the customers safety and needs. Chris is also extremely knowledgeable about a wide variety of vehicles and their issues.. He saved a customer a few thousand dollars by informing the customer that the issue with his vehicle could be resolved by taking his vehicle to the Ford dealership to get repaired due to that particular issue being under warranty, even though the customer was not the original owner. Any other mechanic Ive been to in the Killeen/Harker Heights area probably wouldnt know that, much less tell the customer that.

We always go to see Chris when we need an oil change or are having car problems. Midas in Harker Heights runs an honest business. When repairs were starting to add up for my husbands 17 year old vehicle, they were quite honest that it was time to consider replacing the vehicle rather than sinking more money into it. When my car needed new tires, I wasnt sure if I should believe them yet. When I started having issues in the rain a couple weeks later, I knew they were telling the truth.

Brought both my 2019 Ford F-150 and 2012 Toyota Corolla to get an oil change. They were quick and took no time at all. Needed new filters for my car and was shown the old filters and quoted a price before they corrected. Will definitely bring my vehicles back for regular maintenance.

Chris and Greg are the two guys that helped us out. They were absolutely amazing!! Great customer service, fast, very informative and very honest. Felt like a family owned business rather than a corporate company. They obviously weren’t in it for making money but rather for what was best for us. I appreciate the service I received. Definitely recommending and coming back if needed.

Water pump had become noisy after 100k on my B3000 truck and it was replaced in a very professional way by Greg. I looked at the work after the fact and everything was done correctly and cleanly to include a coolant flush. No mess to speak of. It is quiet and does not seep any fluid. The price was even $100 cheaper than Firestones quote. Kudos to Chris at the front desk for answering all my questions and making sure the requests I made were performed.06/05/2021:Humming noise emanating from front of vehicle related to vehicle speed not engine rpm taken care of by replacing front wheel bearings. The right outboard bearing was noisy. The whole process was quick and painless.

We started bringing our vehicles by this Midas shop for oil changes and repairs after another shop we used lost their mechanic. This Midas shop provides us excellent car car at a very competitive and reasonable price. Their work is top notch! I highly-recommend this auto repair shop for their customer service and work Ive found to trust.

Well the only thing that theyre good that they dont charge you to check your car out but if you bring parts to them for them to put on for you they want to charge you almost $100 over $100 an hour and I dont think thats right cuz due to the pandemic and whats going on people really dont care how you doing how you feeling long as they getting theirs and thats not how its supposed to be when some people dont make enough money and thats their only transportation to get to and fo

I am really skeptical about car shops due to other car shops. However, I really like the environment here. The cash register was great and made things easy to understand. The automatic person working on the car was great as well. I loved how he explained and showed what was wrong with car and was very honest. The company itself has really great prices and is very affordable and trust worthy. They also offer warranty!

Been coming here for years and the are always upfront and honest on what you came in for and what you need to fix at a later date that is if its not dire at the moment. They are Veteran friendly and their mechanics are awesome

My husband and I recently relocated out of the area. Our daughter still lives in the area and had an issue with her car. My husband called them and explained the problem and they told him to have her bring the car in. They were able to help my daughter quickly and were very nice to her! They assured her it wasnt a major issue because she was worried about driving out of town the next day. A thousand thanks to them!

This is probably the best experience I have had with a mechanic shop here in Killeen/Harker Heights. Today, I came in with issues regarding my brakes. They were very thorough, showed me my brake pads and my rotors and recommended the best action I should take. The price is fair and most of all the customer service was exceptional. Rather than having me wait in the lobby they actually offered to give me a ride back home about a couple miles away from the shop and picked me back up when my vehicle was ready. Nowadays, it is very rare to experience exceptional customer service around Bell county area but Midas is one of the few that still takes great pride in providing excellent customer service.

After regularly having several vehicles of mine serviced at this location, I refuse to go to this branch due to the unnecessary comments made by Greg the mechanic. When I mentioned the fact that I would be purchasing used tires simply for the fact that I cant afford new ones right now, Greg responds Then you probably need to get a better paying job. Youre in here every year with a different vehicle. Most people wouldnt understand why the complaint but his demeanor and tone spoke for itself. Thus,let me ask this. What does my job status, title, or pay HAVE ANYTHING to do with whether or not someone can financially afford new or used tires? My point is, as a customer, a statement like that should NEVER be made & is highly unnecessary. Any other regular response & Midas would still have my business in the future. Whether Greg was saying that out of personal turmoil he may be going through or just a bad day, theres no reason to respond with that sort of statement. Its out of line & offensive to say the least. The only thing good I can say is the current store manager Chris is doing an excellent job & very accommodating to assist customers of any issues they may have. Keep up the excellent customer service, Chris. Please, ensure this kind of poor customer service is to never be allowed in your store again. Thank you.

Friendly service but took really long time

Went in because my brakes were squeaking badly. After a thorough inspection, I left with all my money because of their honesty. The brakes were performing perfectly and in like new condition and the noise was just an irritant. Thank you Midas, Ill be back when they do in fact go bad.

Went in for a regular oil change and tire rotation. Initially told it would be about one hour and fifteen minutes it turned into two hours and they didnt even have the cabin air filter I needed even though I had called in several days ago and told them the model and year of my vehicle. To top it all off the tech working on my car left a foul smell in my vehicle when I finally got it back. The only reason Im not giving one star is because the guy working at the desk was courteous and gave me twenty dollars off of the cost. Never going back here again.

I only trust this place to work on any of my vehicles! Wonderful friendly people. I took my car somewhere else once and it was absolutely awful work, took it to Midas and they fixed it, reasonably fast!

Fast service. Honest diagnosis and billing.

The folks at Midas did great job and really hooked me up. I had a coupon for a 50 dollar oil change but it only covered the first 5 quarts. The lady at the counter said dont worry about it and gave me all 13 quarts of synthetic diesel for the coupon price. Saved me 50 bucks at least. The manager answered all of my questions and was very knowledgeable. If I were living in this area I would make the extra effort to bring my truck here.

I am new to the city and have been looking for a place that will provide me with the service I am use to in NC, well I have finally found my go to spot. Matt and his team took care of me and my father like we were family. It was the greatest experience Ive ever had with a car company and he has gained lifetime customers with their exceptional customer service and hospitality.

I called ahead into this Midas, wondering if I could get an appointment for a day further out to get all four brake pads replaced on my CR-V. The guy was more than agreeable with my plan, but gave off the impression the shop wasnt busy at the moment. So, I took the vibe for what it was worth and headed over directly. I dont know much about cars and had never been to a chain service station for anything beyond an oil change, so when an hour-and-fifteen minutes was spent entertaining my two-year-old son, I expected to receive my keys once I was called to the desk. Mr. Matt Davis didnt belittle me or lose calm at all as I expressed my frustration when he told me the diagnostic had just finished. This seemed preposterous to me. My son was in need of his nap, and now I had another hour-and-a-half-long wait for the actual service to be done? Understanding my frustration, Matt explained the process, and why they do what they do-- to make sure quality is the end result. It calmed me down, but I was still wondering how my son was going to hang on. Then, Midas wowed me-- Mr. Davis offered to give us a ride home so my son could get his nap. Thats exactly what happened. I left my SUV with the mechanics and Matt took out my sons car seat, installed it into his own car, and he then picked us up about two hours later. He explained during the rides that he is a father to five kids, and he really felt for me. Talk about going the extra mile for a customer! As I prepare to go back to Korea for the rest of my year-long assignment, I am thankful that I tried Midas out because I not only completed my mission-- I learned that there are still some genuinely good people out there. If you live anywhere near Harker Heights, go here first for any automotive service needs, because this is truly a place that cares about what they do and the people they serve.

Chris was rude and nonchalant from the time I walked in the door this morning . This is the 2nd vehicle Ive had serviced. I will not be back again. Noone called me to let me know my vehicle was ready. When I asked chris about it, he said he just been busy . When I asked details abt suggested repairs, he said thier wasnt much to say about my vehicle. Yet, upon looking at my cutest check sheet, tires were recommended and also my battery cables are corroded. Had I known this when my vehicle was ready, I would have okd the repairs. I will not be back and will be filing a complaint to thier regional office.

I have used them since getting to Texas, and they always take care of me. They even tell me when fixes Arent important. I am very grateful for their honesty and good work.

Fast service very friendly staff.

I have taken my truck there three times, each time for separate issues and each time there they were very professional and the quality of work has been outstanding. The last time I went there I was running late and they stay opened so that I could pick up my vehicle. There arent many businesses that would do that and my truck has been running great as well. Thank you Midas and staff in HH. I would recommend them each and every time.

On top of taking way to long and, not communicating effectivly, they had to fix the work they did twice. They did the ball joints, rear breaks and replaced one of the gas tanks. We just took off said gas tank to replace the fuel pump and, found the hose that lets you refill the tank is not secured to the tank. So, it couldve spilled fuel onto the exhaust at any point of us filling that tank and set the truck on fire. We took it all the way to amarillo like that. Greatful my fuel pump burnt out on the way home.

Mechanic (Greg? Craig? Cant quite remember!) diagnosed a problem with my vehicle within seconds of hearing the noise. The Honda dealership said they couldnt even figure out what it was after multiple visits. They were busy and it was a bit of a wait however they kept me updated throughout the wait and worked as efficiently as possible.

Great service! I went to Wal-Mart first but they were rude and took forever to even acknowledge me! So I decided to leave and come to Midas for an oil change. Wonderful customer service and they got me out quick. Thanks!

I was able to walk in and get an alignment done, because there was nobody else getting serviced. After waiting for 30 minutes or so and 2(two) test drives by the technician, I got my truck back and the wheel points to 1 Oclock when Im driving a straight line. Im going to try and get it realigned at a different location under warranty.If you have an extended bed not even try. Theyre shop is too cramped to align the rear tires

Horrible place!!! I wouldnt recommend this place for anything!! The manager is a liar. Save yourself and go somewhere else!!ETA... You did lie and continue to do so! You told my husband you watched your tech unload and load the batteries which he DIDNT do! Watch your cameras!!! The one was tested the 2nd one never tested!!! Then proceed to move on to another customer without truly finishing up with the one he already had. You can try and get away with whatever you want someday it will come back to get you! Lying is never a good way to keep buissnes or try and keep things in your favor. We went elsewhere with our business and will continue to do so! Both batteries have been replaced no thanks to you! The one that was never tested was a bad battery and the one the tech did test that had a low reading was leaking battery acid! Which your tech said batteries can leak it might be due to them being moved around Batteries are supposed to be sealed and are not supposed to be leaking battery acid. FYI!!

I have to say. Out of seeing and dealing with a bunch of crappy shops around military bases. This place is awesome. Through my 3 hour experience here. I witnessed the staff go extremely out of their way for an amazing elderly women as well as myself. Still working with them to fix the issues on my truck (of no fault to them). These guys are great. And did not try to price gouge me for my type of vehicals like NTB did!!! GO here and only here!!!!!

The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. They helped me with my questions and checked my brakes and alliment for free. They took care of my car and had the oil change included. They were pretty busy but I received my car 2 hours later but I was doing errands in between so I did not mind. I believe there were 6 people in front of me for services. They are extremely knowledgeable in their craft and did a great job, no problems.I oringially went to them because on the same street the NTB charged more and had horrible reviews. I went there to talk to them and I waited 30 minutes to talk to someone as there were 3 staff members talking about inappropriate conversations. I will never go there again and will tell friends, family and my co workers never to go there. Waste of time you will never get back.Midas was very good though. Great experience. 5 stars!

I initially called around to get quotes on an oil change and the manager at this Midas shop named Jayme,which was a female,was so AWESOME because she actually took the time to school me on the difference between synthetic and conventional oil changes and given the make and model of my car,notified me that my car used full synthetic oil and that it had to be Dextos brand or equivalent or the warranty on my car would be null and void....Regardless on Jayme having to repeat herself due to the fifty million questions that I was asking,not at any time did she get fustrated or was in a rush to get off the phone...She maintained her sweet and friendly demenor and made sure that by the end of the call,I understood everything that was mentioned...It was so refreshing to get a womens touch when having to deal with an auto repair shop...Needless to say,I got the oil changed by them and had a coupon on top of that ;) and I will be returning to them for future work...Thanks Midas ;)

We have taken our car here several times ( mainly for oil changes). Staff is always very friendly and they also let you know if there is anything else with your car that needs further actions. Such as air filter replacement or alignment. Have a question they will answer it.

Took my car in for two oil leaks and needed a Cadillac converter. Was happy with the converter but now I had another oil leak midas says they can not fix this problem due to internal problems. OK so they took my car to the dealership after I complained to see if it was there fault. I get my car back and now I have three leaks once again I am so tired of this after spending 2000 in this I am now back where I started with my oil leaks.

Customer service was great and the techs were nice and knew what needed to be done.

If you don’t come two hours before they close. You’re not getting an oil change. Meanwhile they’re all very busy in the bay on their phones. This place is trash, I’m glad I seen their customer service before they worked on my vehicle.

They let me drive off, believing my car was fixed. Come to find out the 2 days later still leaking. All I was told was they were hoping they fixed it. What should have happened before I left is told me they were not 100% confident in what they did fix.

Very expensive ! Just the diagnostics they conducted took 2 days and cost 273 $ . The repairs would have cost 2800 $, I was smart enough to get a second opinion and the repairs there only cost me 850 $ .
