We went to check the place out and heard how good the street tacos were and they are very good. ! We will be back often. Loved the friendly staff too!!

During my visit to see my daughter and her family in Greenville, I chose to visit this popular chain of Mexican oriented products stores to buy a specific item, which I did find. There are many such stores in the Houston and surrounding area where I live. This La Michoacana store was well stocked in all areas, especially the meat market, and had prices on some produce and products that were lower than one of the largest retail stores in the area. It blows my mind as to how this is possible, but nonetheless, the store was clean and orderly. My temptation to order at the taqueria was curbed by my thoughts of an already prepared meal at home. The taqueria food is always so good and authentic to boot. The only downfall this Sunday was that there was only one cashier during a busy period. Other than this, my visit was a good experience. My daughter and her husband frequently shop this store for Mexican products that other local grocers do not stock. I will return to do business with this store.

The food was very good we got the Barbacoa street tacos. I have dentures and so its difficult sometimes for me to eat different foods. These tacos though were absolutely awesome I was able to eat them with no problem I would highly recommend and going to this restaurant.

The market is fantastic! The selection of meats and produce are extensive, the quality and freshness blows the competition out of the water! The store is always clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly. I always enjoy shopping at La Michoacana!

Clean, quiet place. Not much of a wait. I visited on a Sunday and a Monday morning. The only reason I gave three stars was because the barbacoa was not shredded, more like blended to a liquid and then a few big chunks. I have never seen it like that before, I did not like that.

Clean and friendly. Dont be intimidated if you dont speak Spanish. Lots of fresh meat and vegetables that are better than the large retailers.

Fresno Chile peppers and cauliflower was moldy as usual, quality of product has been declining the last 6 months, fresh tamales and tortillas are always out wicj is one of the best things to get . Good authentic Mexico feel needs to bulk up the produce selection, meat market is good but a little pricey during these times .

This store has friendly service, fresh Mexican sweet pastries, hot tortillas, both corn and flour and great meats. They also have a great cafe with amazing food!

Love this market for meat. They have the best marinated hamburger for tacos and nachos. Watermelon drink in the deli is the best thing I have had in a long time. Homemade flan in individual serving containers is the go to for me. Dont skip the bakery display. It is worth a peek.

Great store! Super clean! Great meat selection and always fresh produce! I would shop here on a regular basis but the staff is very rude and extremely racist. It is mostly the women that will not even look at you if you are not Hispanic. I own a business in town and myself and my entire staff treat everyone with respect, race and color are irrelevant. We are ALL equal. I think the management should insure that ALL customers are treated with respect at this store. My money spends the same way yours does and I would spend a lot more here if it was a more pleasant place to shop attitude wise.

The Deli.... The ladies there were extremely helpful and polite. The food was excellent. I tried the fajita plate tonight... After this I cant wait to try other specials they offer.

Great Prices and an incredible choice of meat

Only issue with the place is that the lines can get long for the meat department and at checkout. Otherwise a good, clean and organized store. Prices on some of the fruit and vegetables are better priced than Walmart. The bread and donuts are great as well as the chicharrones. Basic selection of beers, many different cuts of Mexican style/cuts of meat.

Good produce prices. Small store but its perfect for a quick in and out shopping. Amo este lugar

Good prices and good selection customer service is not that good. Employees dont greet you, are on personal phone calls and dont thank you.

I have been here 3 times now trying to get tacos or other deli items. Every single time either I am outright ignored, made to feel unwelcome, or at the least cannot find anyone that can or wants to speak english. The problem is they have a large banner outside the store advertising lunch plates in english!This is by no means meant to be a racist review; unless you want to refer to the fact of myself being caucasian and feeling discriminated against every time I walk in.

Went in for lunch.. the line is stupid, you have to stand in line to pay then stand in line again to present your order to someone to put together.. it took me about thirty minutes to get through the line. Once I got my food it wasnt very good, I wont be eating here again. The grocery side is great and bakery as well.

Some time ago I let go to this place because of the terrible service they have in the morning but I went in the afternoon and the lady in the kitchen was kind and very nice I asked her name is Ana .. ask her to attend you and enjoy your food more

Very bad service with the people from the kitchen! They are supposed to be kind and patient with customers more when prices and menu are not ignored! The lady (maty) very rude and you could say that she is defiant with the clients! If the client is going to pay and respect the same devw of having of which he is attending. Food is charged not given away. And we are paying for a service. I hope and pay attention to complaints! Since you do not look at any representative around to put the complaint at the moment.

I did not like it because they do not have good service. They lack cashiers today I went and there were many people waiting for k They will tell them. I was going to look for their boss but no loise

The bread is a little assorted but sadly very dirty the area where it has it every time I come I find the full bobbin cart and the box where they put it empty the bread filling with dust and some mosquitoes flying the butcher near bags thrown around uncovered bread and I said to an employee that because they did not put it in his place and he replied rudely that he is the bakery,,, in my opinion I think that the bread coming out of where he has it should be put in the container and not get dusty and take his cart to his area where applicable. It is somewhat unsanitary, hopefully it will improve that area and cover the bread.

This store of Mexican products, the unbeaten ones who visit the store and buy good pressures, they do not have to be very good.

Long line a lot of waiting and the cashier too much lens just a box open and it is maddening to pay and for the butcher shop, They do not care, do not be a supervisor who does something about it.

Greenville Tx location as the worst! They have lazy cigars especially at the butcher! I only put a star because I had to but I wouldnt give them one!
