I bought new rims and got them installed here. I took a slight glance at them before taking off their lot. Turns out all four of my rims were scratched on the lip and one has a chip in it when it was installed. Im planning on coming back to get this fixed or replaced. I wanna give you guys a good review. Alex was a worker there I talked with on the phone to get these wheels. He was chill but the result of the wheels...these are some good wheels whyd they have to be ruined :(Edit: Lamar, the manager was understanding and we got it sorted out. I appreciate the concern you and Alberto showed when I came back to mention about the situation. Ill be back next time f or new tires!

Everyone was friendly and helpful with choosing new tires. We made an appointment. Service was reasonably fast. The price was fair and the tires came with an 80k mile warranty and free balancing (and, I believe, rotation) every 6-7k miles. The tires have done well thus far and have excellent grip in the rain. Very satisfied with the tires they recommended and the service we received.

My morning was so hectic due to a blowout on my way to work. They put me at ease. My experience with them was the best from the time that I made an appointment over the phone from the time I left. Everyone was so courteous and professional. Atmosphere was nice while I sat in the lobby and waited. All of my questions were answered. I will always come here for my tire needs. Great costumer service friendly atmosphere will return again

Ive been here about 4 times in the past year, with 3 of those times being for nails in my tires. Appointments are a breeze to set up, and the staff have always been knowledgeable and eager to help. Shout out to Alex and Lamar especially! I will definitely be a returning customer.

It was really busy today with an extended wait time, but I was more than happy to wait for exceptional service. Alex was very helpful and kind, and offered bottled water to those of us waiting. I will get my tires from this location from now on!

While pulling our camper to the Outer Banks of NC, I blew out a tire on the RV. I was in Asheboro but no local tire shops had any trailer tires. I called this store and was kindly greeted by Alejandro. He told me he had two tires but I needed four. He assured me he could get two more by the time I made the 28 mile trip to his location. As soon as I pulled in, Alejandro greeted me in the parking lot to notify me that the other tires arrived. Within an hour, the very kind service technicians installed four new tires on my travel trailer and I was back on the road. This was one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. This morning I came in wearing my scrubs with a bolt in my tire. I was very emotional because I was on my way to work when this occurred. I just wanted a patch, but my tread was too low to be worked on. Alex empathized with me and gave me a used tire free of charge. I have genuinely never experienced an act of kindness on this level. I never take the time to post reviews but I need to make an exception after my experience at discount tire on West Gate City Blvd in Greensboro. This store runs very efficiently. I setup an appointment at 4:30 to have 4 new tires installed on my vehicle. I was met at the door by a courteous employee and my vehicle was whisked away into the work area. I was update on the work progress along the way and my vehicle was completed at 4:55. They offered the best price I could find plus lifetime balancing and tire rotation plus free flat repair.4 new tires were mounted and balanced and installed in 25 minutes. All employees were masked (due to Covid-19), friendly and informative during my visit. Would highly recommend this location. 5 out of 5 stars!

Great experience! Felt safe since everyone wore mask and gave me the option to stay in my car. Very impressed with what looked like young people being mentored or maybe apprentice. Ive been dealing with the guys at the Gate City Blvd location for 3 years and its always a great experience! Theyre always very polite, professional, and courteous and our salesman Mike was awesome, he got us in and out in 30 minutes so we could continue on our vacation trip to Daytona Beach !!

When I dropped my car at 9.30, they told me it will take 45 minute so I told him that ok. When I returned at 10.30 my car was not ready. I asked him for that he told me it was 45 minute approximately. Than the mechanic fix my wheel at 10.45 and trying to open other one. I asked him not to touch other tires because thay are good and I was getting late for my work. The supervisor told me rudely not to interfere mechanics work. He didnt try to understand my problem. Very rude and uncourteous behavior. I am giving minus100 stat

They were very nice, I used their service before, I had a flat tire, I went over there, very quick they repair my tire. They service is very impressive.

Love it here. The wait is a little long so expect to be here for an hour and a half or so. But they consistently do a great job.

Bought 2 new tires at another place and my car was shaking. Took it to discount tires they looked at my car come to find out the new tires had 50 psi when they shouldve had 32. Very pleased withe friendliness and service. THANK YOU!

Do not go here. Tire’s are cheaply made. When they blow out does not cover damage to rim or vechile. Showed tire that was uneven worn. Tried to blame on alignment.

The staff is friendly, helpful, diligent, and generally pleasant! We had been having issues with one tire on our 800+ mile trip so we were forced to stop. Randomly and fortunately we found discount tires on the next exit.The staff immediately met us in the parking lot, clearly explained our options, and quickly got to work!Thank you to the staff for helping a potentially disastrous experience go smoothly and pleasantly! Shopped for the same tires at my local shop but they were $220 higher . I made an appointment here and after I arrived was only there for about an hour to mount and balance 4 truck tires. Ill use them again.

I came by here for the first time ever after seeing the good reviews. I got there @ 5:10, Alberto gave me a second opinion on the state of my rear tires, answered my questions, gave me a quote, and I had my rear tires replaced all by 5:52. Nope no sale here. Called to order tires and when they called to let me know they were here I asked do I need to make an appointment in fact twice and was told no come on in. I live no more than 10 min away. When I got there the parking lot was slammed and cars were almost parked out on Gate City Blvd. I was politely greeted by an employee and she told me it happens. In a space of ten minutes I am to understand by her that the parking lot was virtually empty when I got there I found it overflowing. I really dont think an appointment would have made a difference. Either their version of virtually empty when they look and mine are very different. I understand they do good business but I just wasted my time. They shouldnt pile on customers just to get business cause in this case its a big turn off and a no sale. Wont go back.

I can not say enough good things about your business! You have always done a great job but I was there yesterday and received exceptional service! You really have it figured out to minimize exposure during COVID-19. After waiting only a few minutes for my tire rotation, my vehicle would not start. Before I could even get through the prompts calling AAA, one of your employees ran out with a battery charger and jumped off my vehicle. Sorry i did not get your name. Okay, I am suprised how professional the staff was the entire time I was there. I had a really small hole in my tire that was really hard to see and they patched the tire for me for free. They also adjusted the air pressure and offered to adjust the sensor for me. I would most likely recommend this place and I will for sure come back in the future.

The staff and service was great! This was my first time doing business with Discount Tire. I was there when they opened for the day. Everyone was greeted and promptly waited on. My car was one of the first ones in the bay. My tire was repaired for Free! I was on my way home in less than an hour! There was a steady stream of people coming in while I was there, and each one was promptly waited on by the staff!

The customer service here is amazing. They always treat you with respect and always have your best interest in mind.

I highly recommend this tire shop. I came outside to a completely flat tire and special lug nuts I couldn’t get off to put on the spare. Lamar, the manager, had me send him pictures and promptly responded saying he would come to where I was with the key that was needed. He came and put on my flat so I can make it to the shop. Because of their kindness and willingness to go above and beyond, I will be a lifetime customer. Once we got to the shop, I told him I wanted all new tires. You never know how kindness will pay off. So grateful for Lamar and his team!

Lamar Williams the store manager at this location continued to try and lecture me after swindling me out of almost $300. I told him very specifically to do the needful so I can get out of here and he chose to continue to lecture me and hold me up for an additional 10-13 minutes when I was already pressed for time. Also since when did you require customers to prepay? Lamar required that I prepay for the work where I cant be sure that the tires would be installed correctly and to my satisfaction. Now your store has gotten my money before the work was completed and even if I dont like the work I have no way to get my money back. Im seriously unhappy with the way that this store operates and it always seems like they want to do the most to overcharge me for tires and certificates. I dont care who Lamar thinks he is but he is no better than anyone else. I really want someone to help him learn some better customer service skills and how to properly de-escalate a situation because he needs some work in that area for sure. This whole experience has put a bad taste in my mouth for Discount Tire and they really need to break down the prices they quote. Its almost like they prey on people by doing everything they can to get you to buy their tires and rims. Id highly recommend looking for another option for your tires because Discount Tire obviously doesnt value their customers or some of them. Just because they dont like your response to their prices they try and deter me by getting me to prepay. Super unprofessional but they try and make you think they are doing you a favor. I really am considering stopping doing business with them completely after dealing with Lamar. Isnt the store manager supposed to be setting an example for others? That was the poorest example of customer service that Ive ever seen.

After being sold a car with bad locked tires, unable to drive 2 hrs away with 3 kids to get them unlocked, it put me being a single mom in a difficult situation. Not to mention being turned down by 13 tire shops all week Lamar and his crew treated me and my kids like family. They went above and beyond to help me. They are truly a blessing from God and I highly recommend anyone to go to them for their tire needs, you WILL NOT be disappointed! I will forever be a faithful customer.

These guys are awesome! As an independent technician myself I know great service when i see it. In the last 2 weeks I have had my tires rotated & a flat tire repair with no cost to me.
