I had to return, they fixed bumper first and about a month later it bang peeling. I spoke with them on the phone and they had everything set up that was needed from me. I arrived and what was supposed to be 15-20 mins turned into an hour plus.Tom was very rude and took his time after me stating that I was on a time constraint.Everyone else outside of him was very pleasant and wouldn’t mind dealing with them. But Tom I would choose not to deal with again.

Theyve had my wifes car 3 weeks now as of 2 days from now, and I cant speak to anyone who knows anything when I call nor will anyone call me back. All we have a link to click and see updates, that changes constantly. It said 9/15, then 9/22, now 9/24. Its going to be 22 days as of 9/24 for minor front end body repair, about a 2500 dollar job on a common black 2014 Toyota Corolla. They couldnt give an estimate of time when we dropped it off but never expected this. We keep making arrangements to pick up the car and keep having to change those arrangements as the delays continue. Terrible experience.

There was no communication. The quality of the work was not great. My hood still does not look right. The customer service representative that was assigned to my case never communicated with me or return phone calls.

I generally don’t like to comment on a place you never want to visit ( obviously), but they treated me like gold. I would add some tips. Please keep in constant communication about the status of the car. Cars are one of the most expensive things you will ever own.

Very bad experience,They have a good CS but a bad management and the worse hand work not professional not clean not organized, you go to them to fix something and they end with damage another thing plus they charge as they a dealer which any small work shop can do better than them, i was feel save when i go to toyota to fix my car and end to take it to another work shop after them to redo them mistakes, my experience with them after two times end me with feel i hat this car and will sell it and never get a Toyota again.

This has not been a good experience. First I was told the car would be ready on Friday. Then I was told the parts werent in they were waiting on them to be delivered by NAPA and they didnt have the parts in. Googled NAPA and looked up the items needed and they had the parts. When I mentioned that NAPA had the parts I was told Ill call you back. When vehicle was finally ready for pick up had to take it right back. Sounded like something was rubbing against something and it was pulling to the left. The person I needed to speak with was called down to discuss the issue. Instead of the person listening to what the issues were they said they needed to call the insurance company. This not an insurance issue its a mechanical issue. Supposedly it will be looked at tomorrow by the mechanic that was already gone for the day. Lets see what happens then....To be continued......Got the truck back. They fixed the noise the wheel was making...He got the alignment back to the correct specs...if there is ever a next time will find another collision shop

I have never had a problem with Rice Collision Center until recently. I am not sure if there are new workers or new management, but my service this time his been HORRIBLE. I took my car in almost 2 weeks ago. For the 1st week I called at least 3 different times trying to get an update, and each time was promised that someone would call me back. It NEVER happened. I finally got a call yesterday from my car rental place wanting to get an update, so I reached out. The guy I spoke with said he thought my car was ready. I was confused as to how he didnt know for certain. Then he told me that the problem wasnt fixed with the sunroof. I asked were the other repairs made and again he told me he thought so. I tried to contact the manager twice today. This morning I was told he was in a meeting and I said that I would call back, because they dont have a good record of calling me back. I just tried to call again and was left on hold for 12 minutes until the phone shut off. I asked who could repair the sunroof and was advised to contact the dealer I purchased my car from. So my car has been in the shop for 13 days and the issue is still not corrected and they couldnt advise to as to where I could go. I surely hope no one else has to go through this. I expected better from RICE!

Excellent service. Had a taillight assembly replaced on a 2013 Prius Two. Quoted a price over the phone was exactly what I paid. The office staff were very helpful and courteous, even offered me an office to work in. They have my future business.

Insurance put me here intially. Have used them twice now and requested Rice the second time around.Professional, timely, gives updates, etc. No issues at all. Have dealt with Mr. Beane both times.Their rental options are great and priced competitively with other rental options such as Hertz.Great body work and service. Thanks.

Total Lack of CommunicationIt took twice as long to finish a simple repair. I had to call to get any kind of update and then the staff member was very vague and unhelpful. Staff never called me back when they said they would. Very disappointing and frustrating experience.

There were a couple issues but Rice pulled through and took good care of my car and it came out looking brand new. I appreciate the effort they put in to making things right with my car.[Edit:] A month later Im in a hit and run accident. Not my fault. My car had been hit before from behind on the driver side which posed to be a pain to deal with while I was just hit on the passenger side. Though it took about 3 weeks or so to fix, Mitch and his team worked their butts off to try and put my car back together. The fitment is just a tiny bit off, but it isnt noticable to anyone unless theyre looking for it.I appreciate the extra time they took to try and make it look as good as new, though it has been in 3 accidents now. I may have bad luck but st least Rice is there to try and fix it when it strikes again!

The employees at the Collision Center make the experience of having to have your car repaired smooth and easy. From the receptionist greeting you on arrival, the person doing the estimate to the final pick up and delivery. They treat you very well and are efficient and keep you informed of the progress of the repairs.

Would be nice it the employees listened all the way. had my 2018 challenger up there not long ago. specifically pointed out an area on the bottom bumper to the girl, but wouldnt you know she didnt listen.dear (owner) please dont send me any apology spill. thats not gonna really do anything.

First of all Id like to say that my truck was no gem to begin with but the way Rice Toyota Collision handled my repair after I hit a Deer and took it there for repair was horrible. First I was told that I would be updated on the progress of the truck. That didnt happen till the day before pick up. I was basically told by the receptionist that she thought someone else had called me half way through the repair to update me. Of course that never happened. The day I showed up to pick the truck up the receptionist was not very personable and was on the phone the whole time. She keep shuffling papers for me to sign and and basically told me I was good to go while she was on the phone. No one came out with me to look over my truck. I got to my truck and was less than impressed. There were runs in the paint, a trim piece that hadnt been replaced that was damaged, dust all in the interior of the vehicle, over spray on the step rail, and they left there trash in the tie down pocket. If my truck wasnt 13 years old and didnt have over 200,000 miles on it with some rust here and there I would be really pissed. Oh and dont count on the complementary car wash. Like I said my truck is no gem, but the lack of pride these people took in there work and customer service is just down right horrible. If I were you I would not trust these people with your repairs. After suffering $2300 damage to my 2013 Ford Edge I chose Rice to entrust my baby to. Their attention to my needs was great. I met with Ms. Walker who wrote the estimate, we set a date, I dropped my car off, they had a shuttle driver take me home, and 3 days later I picked up my Edge. I have to say I was very impressed with their work.Its been many moons since Ive had an accident, and I hope I dont have another anytime soon, but if I do I certainly know where Im going for excellent repair work.

No call prior to pickup to advise of any additional charges. Insurance was filed after I asked them not to. After several attempts for them to correct this it was never resolved which will result in my insurance going up even more. No follow up after that was promised as well. Even 2 emails to Mary Rice and no follow up to that either. I guess they treat you right to get your business but not once they have your business.And still no response as promised below.A year later and no return call was ever made, but they sure can call for service suggestions.

Very disappointed! Didnt do what was asked to do to my car. I went there to get one thing done and when I went to picked up my car it wasnt done but I was told they did something totally different then what were asked. Even though one of the ladies that work there went outside with me and I pointed at what I needed to be done. After having my car for a whole week when I went back to pick it up as soon as I pulled up on the lot I saw the damage was still there. Then I was unable to get my car until I paid a deductible for something I didnt asked them to do. I feel if they wasnt going to do what were asked I should have been told that then I could have taken my car back home with the deductible money in my pocket. The damage they claim they fit wasnt any noticeable damage there. So if it wasnt noticeable then they should know that wasnt what I took it there for. No matter what they decided what they wanted to do, I feel when you point something out to a person then that what should be fix. My recommendation to anyone that takes their car there make sure you tell them to not fix anything without letting you know and get your approval. Then you can decide if you want it done or take your car somewhere else. The only reason I took my car there the first place was because I told my insurance about the paint damage. They asked me where I wanted to take it to get it fix. I told them that I didnt want to take it to a cheap paint shop and could they suggest a place. They suggest there. When they said the name Toyota I thought that was great. My car is a Toyato so I thought what better place. They should have the right paint match. Mind you my whole conversation was paint with the insurance and Toyota. Well they decided to do something totally different that wasnt asked. My car came out the way it went in minus deductible money out of my pocket. My whole point is if you not going to do strictly what a person asked let then take their car home. I am on disability and with a low income which mean I cant afford to give money away especially for something that wasnt asked to be done.

Took 4 weeks for a repair that was quoted to be 8 days. Kept having to call for updates myself to get any answers as to what was going on. At no point did anyone seem overly concerned or that this was anything more than business as normal. Definitely wont get anymore of my business and wouldnt recommend to anyone else

Wife got t-boned by another driver who ran a red light. Passenger side in pretty bad shape. But they made it look as good as new. Really impressed overall including customer service. Would definitely recommend them.

First visit was satisfactory. I was told that the parts would have to be ordered and then I would be contacted as to when to bring the car in for repair. Majority of repair was ok, but after-market parts were used and did not fit correctly. Left holes in front where rear bumper fits into the body panel. Was told that this would be corrected. Still no contact about when to bring the car back for correction. Also mechanic left off the hooks in the trunk for my cargo net when the interior panels were re-attached. Was told that this would also be corrected. Still no information as to when this will occur. I would rate Rice Collison Center as Fair to Good, and will upgrade if and when addition corrections are made. Gerald Williamson

I had a really great experience with Rice Collison, Mitch team had been really helpful and they will fight for what’s right for their customer especially when the insurance GEICO want to be very dishonest and put cheap aftermarket parts on my car when my vehicle deserved OEM parts. It was their client fault and Rice made sure they took full responsibility. They follow up each week with updates on my car, it did take a month to get my car back but it was worth it. They repaired and fixed it up like how my car suppose to be. THANK YOU RICE COLLISON FOR ALL YOU DO AND going the extra miles for your customer. They care about their customer and will have their back especially when these insurance can be douch bags. Enough sad, I will definitely recommend them and NO they did not pay me to write this review, it came from the heart.

I have worked at rice collision for 12 years and I can say its the best place in the triad to get collision work done. I have 27 years of knowledge working in body shops and the men and women here are the best. They also have treated me better than anyone I have ever worked for. Brandon Hill is the shop manager and he is not just a guy behind a desk but a true friend to all his coworkers. After reading some negative reviews on some repairs I have first hand knowledge of, I feel that some people do not understand the process of getting there car repaired back to factory specifications. We should do a better job of explaining the process and the pitfalls of the restrictions placed on us by insurance companies. That said, when the repair is done its done correctly regardless if we even make a profit or generate a negative review. Safety is always first at Rice collision.

I noticed that another reviewer has a Prius and had the same experience that I did. Slow, incompetent, and the work done to my car,even though it cost over $9,000, looks jack legged. The molding was put on wrong 5 different times and after the last time it is still crooked..but this is only because the roof was welded on incorrectly..Plus they left plenty of glue on my pearl white paint job that looks like it has grit trapped under it in places. The only redeeming factor the center has is Linda, the person that handled my rental car. She was personable, professional, and a joy to work with. Everyone else..not so much. They were nice but nothing was ever resolved and at the end of the day I feel that I will have to get the BBB involved to get my Prius properly repaired. My advice..go to Modern Toyota in Winston-Salem or Cox Toyota in Burlington. With Rice you will be frustrated and the work will still not be done correctly.
