Staff here are all pretty good. Theyre currently understaffed, but they do what they can when theyre there. It is mostly well stocked, although, of course, that depends on what youre looking for, but I like this location much better than the Garland store. The staff seem friendlier here and like they actually care and the store seems better maintained and cleaner here.

Need to work on customer service assistance by phone. Simply wanted to confirm an item in stock since the store is a long drive away. The marine electronics department never picked up after multiple attempts. The customer service agent offered no help. Finally, a manager was brought into the conversation and he physically went to locate the item. Although he was very helpful in doing so, it took nearly 45 minutes to simply confirm an item in stock.
The staff in each department was ok.The store is huge so bring walking shoes.The kiddies will love the giant aquarium loaded with different species of fish.I must admit the fake turtles fooled me. They have one person working guns. Came at non peak hours and waited around 40 minutes to get help. The man working guns is great.
I’ve returned over the years from foot wear, fishing gear, and a smoker. At the beginning the service was good I thought, and as I’ve started to become more aware you could say notice a change in how the service was given. After going back multiple times recently one employee gave a sarcastic nice greeting that felt unwarranted. To another employee greeting me in a disappointed look as I entered for a second time not to long after one visit.Also noticing at times employee’s standing around and not offering help of sort but talking after walking around them a few times to notice you might need help but there conversation was more important. As I think about it more is it me as a person that makes them not want to help me out or offer. Or quiet possibly the desired policy of the company is for the customer to ask? I grew up camping and hiking and hunting, but had never visited a Bass Pro Shop until this point. Boy have I been missing out! This was like a theme park for outdoor enthusiasts and I will definitely be going back. I especially enjoyed the indoor archery range with the veteran discount (I needed the trad bow practice!).
If you love the outdoors then youll love what Outdoor World has to offer. I could spend half a day in this place and still not go through everything. Plenty of selection and helpful employees. Always feel welcomed!
I dont shop there but I took a chance and got some swimming goggles there. Several people greeted me and pointed me in the right direction. The place seems amazing. When I went to check out there was one cashier open with 4 in line. In short order there were another 8 behind me. Still only 1 cashier. Meanwhile, like I said, many folks at the front and additionally I passed at least 2 people wiping down sunglasses. You might want to check your distribution of labor.
The most dismal customer service I have ever experienced. I recently ordered a new Sun Tracker for the Grapevine store. I was promised construction updates, Installation on equipment bought in the store and prompt delivery. What I got was no construction updates ( I had to call the store manager, who did not bother to call me back but, did force someone to contact me with excuses), after buying $3,00 of extras they were not installed when I went to pick up the boat....more excuses, and a delayed delivery. By the way, I would have bought a lot more fishing equipment but I could not get the clerk to get off his stool and answer a few simple questions. Shameful.
Good for fishing supplies. Gun counter is losing the store thousands of dollars though. Cant get any help, people get tired of waiting and just walk away.

Good experience. Went there for a tent today. Huge place! I was looking for something last minute for my camping trip. Virgin to camping rough and alone, I wanted a pop-up tent. Couldnt find one with the help of one of the associates there, but did come home with A tent. The service is very commendable. I forgot to ask the gentlemans name but he was definitely helpful. Walked me around and showed me different options. Even advised me how to put up a tent. :) He definitely was helpful and friendly. I would go back again for my outdoors stuff for sure. Jerry who works at the counter is amazing. He helped me find a good gun. He was very knowledgeable and he needs a raise. Im also going to keep coming back and make sure I ask for him whenever I need help. There was also a manager who was very nice . I will keep going here because I didnt feel like a customer, and thats hard to find anywhere. Bass Pro Grapevine keep doing what your doing.
WANTED TO MAKE A RETURN. WAS TOLD NO RETURNS THAT WAS YESTERDAY. THEN AFTER LOOKING AT MY RECEIPT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE HANDED THE PAPERWORK BACK AND STATED NO RETURNS AFTER 60 DAYS ON NON BASS PRO PRODUCTS. I DID BUY IT @ BASS PRO. NO HELP AT ALL AND NOT VERY FRIENDLY OR FUNNY. THERE WAS NOT EVEN AS MUCH AS WHY I NEEDED A RETURN. IT JUST DOESNT MATTER APPARENTLY.
Good place for outdoor, hunting, fishing, etc. supplies but prices are usually higher than you can find them online. Still fun to bring your family and do some shopping, sometimes you can find good prices on certain items.
Stock is decent but prices can be a little higher or lower sometimes depending on what you are looking for. Service can be good or bad depending on the day and whos available. Bass pro is a good spot to check out guns or camping gear.
It was a really good experience for my first time ever going but I loved the new blanket and the workers are so king and helpful!!!
Bass pro has an amazing reputation of providing outdoor gear as well as other daily needed items. I highly recommend this place if you are a novelist or just want to check out interesting products that are right in value and higher quality.
Friendly staff but the cashier forgot to take off security device and now I have to waste my time and go back to have it removed. ugh
I had a great shopping experience with the family. You’ll find great deals and great prices on many outdoor and camping gear. Bass pro shop and in Grapevine was very clean and superb. I highly recommend for families looking for camping gear and outdoor activity supplies to come here and shop.
Most of all great customer service, clean store, etc. Would have received 5 stars, but one senior gentlemen who was stocking ammo was not in the greatest mood when asked a question about the amount of boxes that can be purchased. Extremely gruff. Sorry I took 1/100th of a second of your life to ask something. lol
Over priced clothes. Just go because my husband likes to buy fishing bait, but not today. They no longer carry what he wanted to buy. We found it at Schells.
My first visit to this store and purchased a pair of shorts and a button down shirt.No way did I spend enough time to familiarize myself with this enormous, complex place. That will take many more visits.I look forward to those visits‼️The staff that I spoke with were knowledgeable and friendly. I get the feeling that they love their jobs❗

What an amazing outdoor store this is. I was really amazed.If you need anything relating to fishing, boating, hunting, camping and even firearms then you need to visit this store.It is really overwhelming and their expertise in every field is great.I will most definitely recommend one to visit this store if considering a hobby.
This is the store to find anything you need for your outdoor activities, especially fishing and camping. The prices are normally high end but during this time of the year, they run very good deals in toys and gifts! They also have a great selection of clothes; jackets, sweaters, pants, shirts, etc. And if you bring your kids during this time they can have a picture with Santa for free!! There is also a fish pond and several activities and treats around the store that kids love it!
Worked with Chuck in the boating / ATV department for a long-distance purchase of an ATV. I didnt end up purchasing anything, but wanted to share my experience as Chuck was very helpful and extremely professional. I would recommend throwing his name out there if you are in the market.
Waited 50 minutes in the “que” for nothing!! They waited on 2 other customers forever on the computer system when they could have waited on me too or at least brought another associate around. There was nobody left at the counter, probably because they got tired of waiting!
Bought shoes today. Unfortunately, they were out of stock on many styles in my size (10 1/2). However, the associate that helped me was friendly and did his best to find something that would fit.

My rating is a 2 based solely on the lack of customer service. There are reps trying to get folks to purchase a time share. My friend told the lady she had to consult with her husband and the lady was so rude and told my friend to just pay up to get the deal. Our purpose for visiting was for our kids to see the Easter bunny. Of course the store has so many gorgeous things to look at. We decided to look at sandals. An associate asked if we needed help, at the time we did not. There were sandals my daughter wanted but needed a larger size. I asked the same associate if he could check for a bigger size and he said what they had out was it, without even looking at the item in my hand. He had just went to the stock room for another customer. I go to checkout and ask the cashier if she could check about the sizing. She said they do that on the floor or I could go online. With that being said I could of saved a trip from grand prairie to grapevine to be told hey go online. The cashier could of offered to get a floor associate to help or something. I really felt like I was told we wont help you and figure it out I get better customer service at target.

Selection is good but in demand items such as ammo are increased about 10% over retail and local chain competitors. It is dishonest to offer a 10% discount using their credit card but end up paying the same price as stores like Academy. This sort of price manipulation and abuse of customers is ubiquitous in mom and pop shops but I would expect larger stores like Bass Pro to have more integrity. Taking advantage of customers when they are eager or desperate to buy items is why you all have lost my business. Thanks for being Shady!

Upper management obviously doesn’t care enough to train all employees in they’re return and warranty policies.If policies change its up to management to inform and train, and at this store it’s the worst I’ve seen!! Talk about a great store! Yes, they are a bit pricey, but the quality is great. They have a little or a lot of everything. You can find hiking stuff, hinting stuff, cowboy gear, fishing items, etc. The displays are incredible. You cant help, but be amazed. The facility is well maintained, the restrooms are super clean, theyre very organized and well stocked. The associates are so friendly and helpful. My hud and buys his boots from here and the salesperson goes above and beyond to help him and choose what best suits his needs. They even have a snack shop with an eating area. They serve hot dogs, popcorn and other items. They have great candy for sale and a gift shop as well. Its awesome!
The owner was rude. Disrespectful and unprofessional. The bill was $609 more than the quote for unforseen issuesThey also replaced a part under the dash they said the dash had to be removed for $331 and it didnt. The part was removable from under dash and I was lied to.

Might not be Mommas favorite store to walk around for hours while Daddy plays but I can find a great jacket there and shop so it’s a win for us! We recently used the bow shooting area. My family and I Love The Bass Pro Shop !!!! We go every single year to see Santa amd the glorious Winter Wonderland they have every year starting around November til January . Any other day is still just awesome to walk around and look at everything they have in this store !!!! Its very museum like ... With a gigantic fish tank on the bottom floor!!! The displays they have there are picture worthy .. I have a six year old daughter .. And The Bass Pro Shop is her FAVORITE STORE / place to go!!!!
I have never been to Bass Pro Shops in the past, but I will now be coming back for all my ammo. The place didnt feel like a store, it felt more like an experience. Even after my fiancee found our items we were looking for we spent some time walking around taking in all of the experiences of the displays around the store. Best of all they actually had my ammo! 10/10 will be returning in the near future.

Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine is close to the airport and Great Wolf lodge, which is why we visited. My kids fell in love with the stuffed and real wildlife there. Weve visited quite a few Bass Pro stores in the South, and this store remains one of our favorites.If youre a sportsman in any way, you need to visit this store - theres something for everyone here. My husband loves shopping the guns and accessories, while I enjoy looking at the wide selection of camping gear. Like I said, something for everyone at this store!

Awesome, the saltwater department didnt have the kingfish rigs we were looking for, but they just so happen to have the last penn battle 3 high speed in north Texas, the reason for the review we bought two 8000 size reels at 855 last night and they spooled over 1000 yards even though they were closing! way to go guys thank you for your help!

I get this overwhelming feeling of apathy Any time Im near this place. Not sure why. Maybe its the god awful lighting, terrible layout, confusing interior, and the fact that bp ruined cabelas.
