Okay so I havent actually gotten any prescriptions filled here but I plan to get all of them filled here from now on.On my 30th birthday, I spent 5 hours calling every single pharmacy I could think of trying to get a prescription filled for my rare eye disease. Everywhere I called they said they didnt have any and good luck. I called HomeTown Pharmacy and the woman who answered was so kind and personable. While they didnt have what I needed in stock, she took the time to tell me how to ask larger pharmacies to search all the other stores under their company. It worked, I found the one bottle in all of Grand Rapids. When I called she didnt treated me like just another customer calling, she treated me like an actual person and cared that I got the medication that I needed so badly. I can not tell you how much that meant to me. I have never in my life been treated that way at a pharmacy and I appreciate the kindness I received so much. You guys are amazing and Ill be seeing you soon!

Walker Street Pharmacy is a great neighborhood service. Friendly staff are always ready to assist you and make you feel at home. The variety offered from gifts to groceries lets me stretch the time before I deal with big stores. With wide aisles it’s easily accessible for handicapped. I love that they offer free delivery of medicines, especially in these Covid times.

Been a customer of this location since 1974. Never disappoints in customer service and quality. Love giving my business to small local run companies.

The staff at Walker Street Pharmacy are courteous, friendly and knowlegeable. Besides traditional pharmacy items they have unique gifts for sale. Parking is very easy and the shopping experience is great.

Would highly recommend them. Staff is knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied when you leave. Its refreshing to go to a business and be seen as a actual person instead of a walking dollar sign!

They have a great pharmacy. Always get your script in a timely manner. I love all the products in the store to wear or decorate your home. It always cost me more than my prescription. I end up buying a gift or something for myself. Love it but hate it ! If your a girl, you know what I’m saying. But great gifts!!

Great store. When my prescription insurance provider changed, they added it to the insurances they accept. Friendly, helpful people. Just remodeled the inside, very nice with a surprisingly large, unique gift section, good beer/wine/liquor selection, and all the basics when you just want to make a quick stop.

About 30 years going here and i hope to make it 30 more. Great Place. Great People. Feels like family. And so much fun to shop too.

My family has used Walker Street Pharmacy (Hometown Pharmacy) for over 20 years. We have never had any issue from employees or managers and have been treated respectfully. The comments from people comparing to bigger pharmacies I feel are unfair. Obviously a smaller pharmacy cant compete with Walgreens and CVS in some areas. The prices are fair, but again if you are planning to do grocery shopping you cant expect them to be comparable to Meijer.

Very overpriced and they have difficulty filling anything beyond basic, typical prescriptions quickly.I transferred everything to Walgreens. A few extra blocks away, but Walgreens can fill (almost) anything very quickly and at a much lower out-of-pocket cost.

Runs a racket with Merl towing. Avoid like the plague. My bill was higher than what the state said I should have to pay for illegal parking. After they removed the 80$ tacked on top- I paid what the state of MI said I should. I wonder where the 80$ came from and who is getting their cut? Owner was less than friendly to communicate with and when I let him know that he wouldnt be receiving his cut from the tow call-in, he kept asking how much they took off of my towing bill as if it directly impacted him. West Side Crook.

Ive always had good experiances here. The pharmacy its self dosent take discount cards for percriptons though. Kind of a bummer. But they have a great selection of cards, and munchies. If you have to get some light grocery shopping done, its also is accommodating.

HIGHLY OVER PRICED, piss poor customer service specifically towards certain types of people and not worth the convenience of the location! Extremely RUDE and SNOBBY manager I believe, comes out from the pharmacy section and follows black people that come in the store pretending to be straightening shelves. (Short woman, blondish hair and glasses). I have watched her do it multiple times. I have also witnessed her being rude and snippy to customers, almost in like she is superior over everyone else! There is also a very RUDE cashier (dark hair, tons of make up plastered all over her face and very overweight yet wears skin tight jeans and tops to work).

Has everything you need and the workers are extremely helpful.

Great little neighborhood pharmacy. They have everything; cards, gifts (both cheap and some nicer things like jewlery and nice perfumes), beer, wine, lottos, trash tags, some food. Love it!

I went to get some orginal Alegra D in the box and the pharmacist tried to sell me some offbrand prescription and then he had enough nerve to tell me dont worry about it its the same thing i got so pissed at him and i wish i had recorded it and got the pharmacist for selling incorrect medication..😡

I HAD UNPLEASANT ENCOUNTER AA FEW MONTHS AGO!!! I SUGGESTED MY NEPHEW GO FILL HIS SÇRIPTS THERE! Make a long story short. They said they would honor a discount card. 10 MN LATR it was shift change. Suddenly they wont give the discount..NOT–TO MENTION THEY R RACial !!!

This place smells just like the Hesperia Variety store used to before it shut down. They also have diapers.

Racist comment directed at Polish customers from employee Ralph MartinBoycott this pharmacy at all costs, they are filthy with poor service and it is clear they are about to go bankrupt as a result, only a few less customers will surly push this place under to make room for someone who deserves it.I confronted Ralph for an apology and he told me off. What nerve.
