Unfortunately, I had quite a negative experience today. As much as I love my unique finds at Easttown Antiques, I was treated pretty poorly at checkout today. Not only was the young cashier cross with me, it seemed like she made it a point to embarrass me. That said, I will not be coming back.

Amazing!!! This shop is filled to the brim with great finds. My first time visiting there I didnt get a lot of time to browse but I daydreamed of my return! When I finally did, it didnt disappoint. I found two heavy antique mirrors, a gorgeous cross to add to my cross wall, and a vintage baby bath that I had been looking for forever. Im a photographer so it was a major score when I found it for summer fruit bath sessions! **Also kudos to the seller that happened to be there when I was shopping because she didnt mind me negotiating on the price and she even added an additional discount because I bundled a few of her items.**

Love this place. The shop owner, or at least I believe he is because hes always there, is very friendly without being pushy. He has great vendors. Ive bought only a few items here and nothing of a large or expensive purchase, like furniture, but I never feel pressured to do so. Its a wonderful place to respectfully wonder around and appreciate all items quirky and old. I pop in every month or so just to see whats New and am never disappointed !Found this lovely pillow cover for quite a steal at just $20 and its in practically perfect condition.

I had my father in law pass away. Mike and his team came and took the items from the condo to his warehouse sale. He did a phenomenal job with it. We, as a family, were very pleased with the results! Would very much recommend his services!! Thanks Mike!!

BEWARE!!! Read ALL the reviews before supporting this business, particularly the one star reviews. Whilst buyers may seem pleased with Eastown, the reviews from sellers are another story.I am so disappointed. I really wanted to love this business and give it a great review.I contracted Eastown to sell the remainder of my household goods (furniture, linens, dishes, art, toys ... all home goods) prior to an international move at the end of May 2020. I was told the sale would happen in June or July, with the delay due to COVID.Eastown collected my salable home goods as contracted, and admittedly did a nice job of this aspect of the job. However for months and months there was little to no communication from Eastown regarding the sale(s), and I was unable to collect payment from them.I had been warned against Eastown by others who had the same complaint about struggling to collect repayment, but was willing to give them a chance.I attempted unsuccessfully to contact Eastown throughout June, July, and August.of 2020. The only communication I received from Eastown in September stated that everything except one bed was sold and would therefore send 2 payments (one for everything except bed and one for bed).In October 2020 I went on an online campaign against Eastown, writing this review and posting all over their FB page. This campaign brought my issue to the attention of DJ, the manager of their antique store (who does not typically deal with the estate portion of the business). DJ was incredibly helpful, provided wonderful customer service, and his accountability and forthrightness [whilst he aided me in finally getting the payment from Eastown that I was owed] went a long way towards soothing my legitimately ruffled feathers. DJ is awesome.I would not recommend Eastown to estate sellers.

Nice antique shop with booths from many vendors. Its pretty good size, but not overwhelming. Things are well-organized, but not so boutique-like to have through-the-roof prices. Because of the many vendors, theres an interesting mix of merchandise. During the Holiday Shop Hop, they put on a really nice spread, too.

This review is for Eastowns estate sale service ONLY. It is not being run according to Michigan law regarding safe distancing and mask wearing, despite there being a sign on the door telling estate sale customers to stay distanced and wear masks. Went to one in June and found the guy running it had no mask and was with a couple feet of customers. Also saw a family of four there without masks who moved next to other customers, so we left before we saw much. I called Eastown Antiques and expressed concerns to the manager, who said he would look into it. Returned to the estate sale the next day to see if a table we had liked was still there. It was, but of 9 people in that small house, 8 were not wearing masks, including the guy running it, who was in a small room with 3 other non-masked, non-distancing people. I know that the estate sale service cannot be responsible for customers actions in other rooms, but the worker is certainly responsible for himself and the room that he is in. And few customers will feel that masks are supposed to be worn if not even the host worker is wearing one. Welcome to the return of the coronavirus! Needless to say, we did not stuck around to buy the table. Had to tell friends who asked how it went about the lack of health measures; they decided not to go at all. Please, people, its common sense---we drive on the right side of the road, we stop at red lights---this is just another easy measure to insure our safety.

Sellers, beware! I recommended Eastown Antiques to clients for several years for estate services. In the last year, I have had nothing but complaints from clients who used their services. No proceeds paid and no accounting for inventory sold. I do not recommend for estate sale services.

Beautiful merchandise, wide variety, unique finds, slightly high prices. This was my second visit and was my husbands first visit. We were greeted upon our arrival with uh we are basically closed (my phone said 10 minutes before close, she said 5 minutes) several other potential customers were greeted the same way. No question of what we were looking for or sense of inviting us tomorrow, just a clear message that she wished we werent there so she could lock the door. Very rude and unwelcoming. Wont go back. There are plenty of friendly antique shops in the area.

Fantastic, well curated and merchandised vintage goods shop. They have a nice selection of good, shabby chic furniture at fair prices. It was well lit, not dusty, and easy to navigate. We found a Prince album and mint condition Wards signature fondue electric pot for a great deal.

I would never recommend Mike Dykhouse to do an Estate Sale ever again. I had to hire an attorney to get paid after many many unreturned phone calls to him. Then I still did not get paid what I felt I should have.
