I was looking for a place to get an alignment that had good reviews. Of course I found this place! My first call to Richards was very nice and they explained how I could get in the very next day. Ended up going the next day and they were able to get me in and get my brakes done. This place is very professional and was very affordable for me. I believe if you’re looking for any place to get service done this is it! The people are genuine and they are all family. I could not ask for a better place near me. Thank you so much!

Had some issues with my steering wheel shaking at high speeds. Richard test drove my car and could tell me immediately what it was. Unfortunately, he didn’t have the means to fix it at his shop, but he referred me to someone else, and didn’t even charge me. Would definitely go back again. Seems like a great family owned shop.

My husband and I are from Virginia and we had plans to go to the beach but when our car started being wobbly we thought, “It probably just needs an alignment” Thank God we came to Richards. We saw they had great reviews and that’s for a reason. They were upfront with the wait times and when they put it on the lift, one of my tires was literally shredded. You could see the metal. Eek!They hooked it up for the alignment and found it wasn’t that, that obviously it was the tire. They only charged me 25$ for the alignment check and 8$ for putting on my spare tire which I had no problem with. These were the nicest and friendliest people I’ve encountered in the auto field. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I honestly wish I lived here so I could see them for every car need they’d be able to do for me. Thank you again!!!

Truly a family affair of incredibly nice & honest people. They now have a customer for life. Had 2 alignments done and going to get 3rd done ASAP, no longer have to find an honest place for repairs I have one now. Even fellow customers are very nice while waiting for work to be done making it all a very pleasant experience.

Good honest people! The dealership told me I needed a 4 wheel alignment but I wasnt going to pay dealership prices. I went to Richards to get my alignment done and they checked it out and said it didnt need an alignment and only charged me a minimal check fee.I highly recommend them!

Drove out of my way because they had such good reviews and it was well worth it! My daughters car needed all breaks and rotors done and they charged significantly less then other places quoted me. They are honest and will not add additional costs like a lot of other shops. They have made me a future customer and will definitely be referring them to my friends and family!

He is a very honest man. Ive went to get breaks and he has let me know that I didnt have to have them at that time. I could come back in about 5,000 miles or he would go ahead. What ever I wanted.I appreciate that type of service.

What an awesome shop. Took my car there with an estimate from that morning of 1000 to fix my car. They took 20 minutes to take a look at it and told me the other shop was full of it. I appreciate their honesty and fast work! Will reccomend to everyone I know.

Due to Gearlds giving me the run around with fixing my alignment I took my business to Richard and he fix it the best way he could ... Im pleased BC my wheel isnt turn way to left like it use to be ... I think he did a good job ...they a friendly and you get to watch him do the work .. I always wanted to go to a shop that does that so I can see what they doing to my vehicle... My brakes and rotors are due soon and I will contact when I get the parts :)

Great family owned and operated. He doesnt sell you anything you dont need. I needed ball joints installed via his word when I asked him how much he told me to do it at home bc of the work I conpleted on the truck prior. He said there was no reason for me to pay for his service when I was mechanically inclined enough. He let me borrow the ball joint removal tool/installer for my truck.

Ive been going to Richard for three years now. Its hard to in todays world to find an honest mechanic. I wouldnt take my vehicle anywhere else. AAA+++!!!

I am typically leery of car shops since so many take advantage of people. I brought my car in for a brake change and they said I had plenty of brakes left, just need a cleaning. Instead of making a few hundred off of me, they were honest. I will use this shop for now on.

They are just awesome people they know thete job wrll .

Will never go back to this place ever again. Last month had nothing but a bunch of run arounds for 2 weeks straight just to get it looked at. Finally got it looked at they want to rip me off for the price of labor and parts. Went back again just to wait for 2 hours to hear about the price for the labor and my car keeps getting worst. “Thinkbeing there for so many years they can just rip ppl off with their labor prices”.

They fix a bad alignment for me. My truck has never driven so well. And they didnt rob me.

We have our car sales business on dorchester rd out in north charleston, we have more then a few brake/alignment spots to choose from. but, we rather drive out and bring our cars to richards brakes and alignment for one main reason. they are honest! this small family business is worth your time and money. their work is professional, and budget friendly. We will return again and again. we definitely recommend them to all.
