The worse customer service ever. Waited 18 minutes for help, no one showed up. The store was empty of customers but filled with employees. It seemed every employee was just hanging out with each other. Ended up having to handle it myself. This town needs a better store than this. I recommend take the drive to Morgan Hill, maybe there youll get help. Avoid this Gilroy store at all cost

Out of all the home depot Ive been to this one made me feel at home. There employee Renee in loading help me beyond reach. He went of his way to make sure his help was successful. Thank u Renee n home depot

There were some issue initially when they just dropped the new fridge 2 weeks back in our garage. Because we did not have a water line behind the fridge. Which our helpful neighbor installed. So today they came and deliever and installed the fridge. And took back the old fridge. We did get the proper discount too.

The flooring assistant who unfortunately I forgot her name was very nice and patient with us when cross checking prices between different stores. Although we weren’t able to get the price we wanted that we found in another Home Depot location (turns out they had put the wrong price sticker on the display) she still gave us a discount because she felt we were also patient with her.

Looking for tile did finally get someone to help me. Needed help getting the tile, grout and morter out had a very nice man help me. Had 4 guys loading my car.

Debbie in appliances was friendly, very helpful and amazing. She was knowledgable about variations and brands of appliances. She got us hrough the process of purchasing a very and dryer very quickly.

They had what we were looking for, which was nice to just shop at one place. A couple staff even checked if we needed help, which was great since it was opposite the service we have received in the past from other locations.

Please save yourself the headache and do not buy an appliance from home depot. Buy from Lowes or another retailer that isnt going to hang up on you and refuse to hear what you have to say or even try to help you. The response when trying to make a return was that they dont make any money on appliances because they come straight from the manufacturer. They put me on hold for 40 minutes then hung up on me as I tried to speak with someone that would actually be helpful.The context:My wife bought a gas dryer from home depot and we later realized we needed an electric dryer for our new property. I thought it wouldnt be a big deal to return the gas dryer--which was still in box and never opened-- and get the correct appliance but home depot handled this completely wrong to the point that I had to take my business to Lowes and buy the correct appliance. Now I have 2 dryers and a deep mistrust of home depot. I will never buy what they are selling. ACE Hardware and Lowes will be were we will be taking our business and we suggest you do the same. They clearly do not care about their customers.

After 2 unsuccessful calls I tried one more time and got Lolly. Best Customer Service Ive ever gottenShe went above and beyond and that 5 rating is for her, aside from the 2 guys who could of cared less if the helped me. Lolly is a incredible asset.

I just wanted to say I had a fantastic experience with Anthony from hardware. Im working on a home project and was unsure of some of the equipment I might need and Anthony guided me through with ease. Very impressed and thankful for the time he took helping me with his expertise!

I love that we HV a local Home Depot, but literally everytime we go in for custom orders theres nobody around to help or even come by to say hi lmk if you need anything. We were looking for blinds/shades for our windows & stayed for over an hour by the desk, looking for & through Bali & Levolor books. Walked out with no order placed. Ill find another store. So sad. Its fine if you need no help & youre going in for product. Their shelves are stocked with a huge selection so thats a plus. I miss Orchard Supply & all those employees!!

I had the unfortunate luck of having to replace a 2 year old water heater purchased at Home Depot in Gilroy. On Fathers day! Rheem requests that you contact them before returning to the store where purchased. I did this, customer care straight forward and helpful. I received case number and was instructed to return to Home Depot for an exchange.Once at Home Depot Customer Service I found myself on a downhill slide to nowhere. That department is a mess with people who clearly have no desire to help. At every turn they seemed to be looking for a reason not to help. I ended up having to call and put a Home depot liaison for Rheem on the phone to basically order the staff to give me the new water heater I had fetched (which they said they didnt have). If any of my team in customer service had treated a customer in my presence the way my wife and I were treated by this team well....It is worth noting that at one point the supervisor was called over. This was about the time I was being told they no longer sold the unit and could not exchange as per Rheems instructions. I assured then they were mistaken as I had used the number on my original receipt to verify they in fact had 4 units in stock before making the trip from Hollister. The supervisor basically snorted dismissively and I was told if I could find the exact unit I should bring back to the counter. It was at this point the representative I had on the phone basically had to tell them 3 additional times to give me the water heater. At this point they basically melted away back into the same unresponsive state I originally found them in.I look to their supervisor for this experience. My wife worked for Home Depot in Martinez for 10 years before I met her. It can be a tough place to work. A good supervisor needs to set the standard for their staff to follow. I was clear to me that this standard IS being set by this departments supervisor. People always will have an off day but when you see an entire group under a supervisor operate in this way you understand why it is happening. Over the years I have witnessed the many progressions of Home depots business model. I certainly hope that this recent experience is not a sign of things to come as I have relied on Home Depot since the old days of Home Base.

The store is clean, and well stocked with construction materials, tools, supplies, furnishings and decor. The support staff is very friendly, and knowledgeable about the products that they sell.

Wow I am just shocked at the lack of professionalism at this store. The customer service team upfront openly groans as you ask them for assistance. As it is just too much to do their job. The supervisor if the department Petra is especially bad at this. I even mentioned something to another associate helping me load my washer and dryer. His response was unfortunately she doesnt know how to use the right tone when talking to people so she comes off as a B. Now I dont know about you folks but thats not who I want to run customer service.

My boyfriend and I drove about 40 minutes to this location since it was the only store with what we were looking for. An associate by the name of Dave was very rude and helped us out but very forcefully this made us both feel very unappreciated.

They did not have what I was looking for and the manager provided a lame excuse; sometimes we get them, sometimes we do not

Went in during last hour and needed something urgently. The staff was of no assistance at all and seemed annoyed when asked. They seemed more concerned with closing and getting us customer s out than helping. The cashiers working the self check out lanes were both rude.

I love this store, big fully loaded with materials

We bought bamboo flooring there six month ago and were told by Home Depot that this flooring would not scratch even with having large dogs running on it. Now it has scratches all over and we only put it in the bedrooms, NOT high traffic areas. Home Depot customer service sent me from one person and phone call to the next with the summary that they do not feel at all responsible for their employees giving recommendations. Terrible! Do not believe what they are telling you!

Placed an order for curbside pickup. When the staff outside saw I was waiting, they checked in with me even before my text to alert them of my arrival went through. I never have any luck finding what I need wandering the isles of the store, so this worked out really well!

HDep can be hit or miss with getting help. Thats been my experience, anyway. Today I had a great experience that started with a refrigerator question.Debbie was awesome and went above and beyond to go answer other questions. Field trip to other parts of the store where she tried helping problem solve.My advice is come prepared with pictures (whether you expect to get help or not), cause you never know when it would be easier to show vs. try to explain. Esp. if you dont have the best/right terminology. Thanks Debbie!

I went to get some paint and the lady at the desk was by herself. There was a small line but she was trying to work as fast as possible.I noticed there was a very rude customer giving her a hard time, about the wait.Feel so bad for what all essential workers have to go through. I didn’t catch her name she was running all over. Curly hair, big eyes. I wish people wouldn’t treat them like that. She just put her head down and continued working

Last Sunday afternoon I cAme to the Gilroy “Home Depot” for some items that would require my going to several departments. I am handicapped ( leg issues) and having access to the power chairs makes a huge difference to my pain level. I make it a practice to take my purchases to my car and then return the power chair to the area close to the entrance. On entering the store a young man employed by Home Depot that was in attendance at the entrance thanked me for returning the chair and offered to let me drive back to my car and he would bring the chair back to the entrance. I’m sorry I didn’t get his name but would like to thank both him and Home Depot. That is service and consideration that is deeply appreciatedD. Hanes

About the same as every other Home Depot in the Bay Area, a little unorganized and so so customer service, but they almost always have what I need when I need it...

Worked here to be careful what you do now

They carried blinds that fit our 68-inch windows and cut them to the right size. The worker helped me submit a custom order for larger blinds to match. The worker was super helpful and knowledgeable.

The only thing is that I always have difficulty getting help from associates, it looks like theres not enough staff.

Clean environment and great deals during the harvest season. The garden section is well designed and offer lots of ideas!

No Waiting. 🙂 I was in and out without a problem and the cashier was very nice.

I ordered two orders online for curbside pickup and they only had one ready even though I ordered them five minutes apart. I had to walk into the store to get my other one, and I saw there was an employee with his mask on his chin and several with it below their nose. I felt very unsafe in this store. When trying to go to customer service, they tried to make me walk through a crowd of people to get to their register which is not safe during this time either. When they finally got my order, one of the items had a huge do not sell written in black sharpie all over it. I will never go back to this store again!

Found what I was looking for, got out fast

Home Depot is my go-to store for home improvement. I usually find what I need, but I could wish for a little better organization. For instance, their 4-sided seed display has sunflowers on three sides, making it difficult to find the best variety for my needs. Why not put them together?

This Home Depot has always been one of my favorites. My buddy use to be the manager over here. He really cleaned it up and shaped it into a quality place. They have kept up the place and its always a pleasure to shop here.

Theres only two options in Gilroy, and that would be Lowes and Home Depot. this home Depot has all of the stuff that I need in stock and everything that I need in general to get in and get out fast. Its better than North Bay locations due to the a lack of excessive people presence and crowding that Im used to at other locations.

Hard to get help

This is my go to for many of my purchases. Good staff and decent selection.My only gripe is that they do not support Apple pay. They do support Android pay however.
