When we began shopping for chairs for our personal home, we quickly realized that many people sell furniture, but very few sell the quality furniture we were looking for. We wanted new club chairs that could endure day to day wear and tear in our family room.We had purchased a couch from Chestnut Hall a few years ago so we knew they carried the quality of furniture we were looking for. It didn’t take long after arriving before the Chestnut Hall team was showing us the “guts” of the chair and explaining what sets their chairs apart from others. Not only were we excited about the quality of chairs we were purchasing, but the fun fabric options gave us the fresh new look we were looking for.Our chairs were ordered and arrived several weeks later. We love them and the great looking table that we found while we were there. I went in for the first time today. I was shocked at the prices compared to the quality.I opened several drawers and found they were glued and it was not solid wood.For $5k I expect dovetail and solid wood.If I wantedGlued and wood-like pieces I would go to Ashley.
