In my experience, the megamart of manassas va has been better than this location in Gaithersburg VA. Much larger store and the employees seem to be kinder. We had just come from the Salvadoran festival and had to use the bathroom. We asked a male employee where the bathrooms were. He said for the women’s restroom that I would have to go up and ask the women in the front for the key. So, my boyfriend came with me and we went to ask the ladies in front for the key. As soon as we walked up they looked at us in disgust and judgment (mainly towards me). We asked for the key and they said the women’s restroom was closed. Based on their body language, voice, and attitude both of us suspected they were lying. So we went to ask someone at the connected bakery, and they confirmed the women we asked for the key were lying. I’m sure those women would have been happy for us to go spend our money there but god forbid I use their restroom. The only reason I put 2 stars instead of just 1 is because the male employee was honest.Although I’m not in those women’s heads, I’m sure that it was about the fact that my boyfriend is Latino and I’m not Latina as far as they know. (I’m mixed with latina but I don’t look like it) & they think he should be dating a Latina. Most of the judgment we receive ends up being about that. Anyways, I will keep those women in my prayers. I can’t imagine how much hate someone has to have in their heart to so strongly dislike and lie to someone they do not even know. /:

Its a nice but lil bit smaller market, visited here and looking for sweet mangoes but they only have different one. So I end up buying the other option which didnt work for my ingredients. But the store have lots of diff countries food and staff are nice and you can see they are all hardworking.

Hello I was here on Sunday, had to wait in line to go in that was perfect meaning that they are following guidelines on social distances. That great. Went in agot my food, the place is clean and fast to check out. I give megamart 10 start. They have this new drink.

This is an excellent supermarket with a wide variety of latin american products. If you dont speak spanish or if your spanish is minimal, buckle up. I rarely find someone there who speaks english, but with my limited spanish and some creative sign language Im usually able to find what Im looking for. The staff is friendly and acommodating. The prices are reasonable. Condensation from the AC unit drips right above your head when your walking out, but i swear thats the only negative here.

Beautiful vegetables and fresh meats at excellent prices. Staff is helpful and friendly. Found beautiful fresh mushrooms here. Dont expect them to carry some typical American condiments or frozen items.

This store is too small!They have a great selection of products, but it is entirely impossible to navigate your cart here!The cashier was rude and the service sucks, but you really can not beat the latin product selection in the area where I live.Unfortunately because of the bad service, bad parking and size I only go when I really have to.

Horrible location with the times right now. They decided to let 1 person per family in. But depending on who they know or what you tell the person outside nothing happens. The chick outside said it was to protect them from whats going on right now. Even at this 1 person family policy it was more packed than normal.Get it together people.

I am 25 minutes away but I wont mind drive there the meat station person gave me the price for the chicken breast box .Something that the Megamart Rockville dont want to do they want you to spend Gas all the way there just to tell you the price of a chicken breast case. That how you loose customers

I specifically go to the Megamart Bakery, which is next door to the store. I try to go every two weeks for the chicken tamales, and for the tamales de elotes. I also love the empanadas / pasteles, which are only available on the weekends. They are full of beef, hard-cooked egg and green olives, and the bakers provide you with portions of diabolical hot green salsa. In cool weather, I get an atole de elite. And when I really want to aggravate my cardiologist, I choose a thing or two from the two walls of sweet bread or cookies. The only downside is the insane parking lot, and the families with small children. Visibility can be limited...and with an older car without all sorts of television cameras and warning beepers, you have to really enter and exit the parking spaces with extreme caution. But, it is now my go-to eatery in Gaithersburg!

This stores is wonderful it has a very large verity of Spanish products The prices are really good all the products are very fresh and they always have everything in stock!! Wonderful staff always happy willing to help you with a Smile!! The only downside is the parking is very limited since they have other businesses around them!! The store needs to have their own parking since they get so many customers some time I avoid going there because there’s no parking I hope in the future they can move somewhere where they have more parking for their customers!!!

Great Hispanic selection always pick my favorites here every one is super friendly dont forget to stop next door to Megamart panadería for for pan dulce and atol de elote.

My experience is and was great. Always have great products that I like a lot. Always have great things from food to non-food products. I also like the area where you can check-out yourself. You can scan your items your self and then you pay and bag your items, and then youll be on your way

Prices in most produce and some packaged meats are good. Fish is cheap. Dairy and everything else is expensive. Better a big chain with there 30% less with discounts and coupons! Customer service is great! Happy employees.

This a Latin Market. You can find products from different countries in Latin America. Veggies are at a lower cost than other supermarkets. If you live around and have no vehicle you can call and ask for a raid. They can also drop you at your place once you are done with the shopping.

Very racist if you are not Latino....I had one cashier smell my candle as she ring it up and it wasnt even a scented candle..wickness...cashiers are very rude but they have good meat deals and provide free car delivery...Stores have to Invest in training their staff with customer service skills because a friendly courteous helpful store attendant will have customers always coming back...just a thought

Terrible customer service. Over priced items and no one seems to know what they are selling . no one speaks English nor do they try to understand.I was completely IGNORED They should try harder to expand their knowledge of all ethnics not just one . So unfortunate because this grocery store is local and would have been convenient for me but their lack of costumer service saddens me. Definitely won’t be returning.

Good selection for such a small store. Prices were high compared to what I’m used to (coffee prices seemed overpriced). Hours posted on the door were incorrect (seemed to be open later then stated which is good but confusing as well). At check out I got in line at the cashier with the light on their check out and then was told the check out is closed (usually the light indicates it is open). Good for a quick stop but personally I would not do any serious shopping here.

Megamart has all sorts of latinoamerican products/produce, they have reasonable prices. Its usually full but they keep the flow going.

I went there and I bought 5 things. I knew the price of each item and the girl didnt know the price. She asked another person and they told her a high price. And I was like no, thats not price. And they went and checked the price and I was right. Like there is no way you know the prices for everything. If you go there and shop, KNOW THE PRICES OF EACH ITEMS because I know for sure they will charge you more than the original price! This also happened to one of my family members. Be smarter than them, Dont let them fool you!

Small but cozy. Has a meat counter where you can customize your order. Good prices on produce. No taqueria though. They do offer a unique service. They will pick you up from your home if you need a ride. You must spend $50.00 in their store, but the ride is free.

I would give 0 stars, but there is no option for that. I used to go here for all my groceries, now I don’t even think about coming back. The one think that I think is bizarre is that they don’t have an updated register which tells you exactly what you bought. I don’t believe that any of those people from the register knows the prices for everything. Everything is super expensive and people still go there because they don’t see another option. There are some nice people that works here and there others that are super rude.As, in for me I have saved a lot of money going to another store. Sorry for the people that go there because they are just given out their money.

The variety of food is very good but the lines are very long. I stood 23 minutes only for 2 people to skip me, I had complained but with no luck.

Two days ago during Halloween time, my family and I went to shop the food that we need. After we selected the food, we lined up and there was a macha cashier that I can see her bitchy attitude toward my father. She know that if she need money to support herself or her family need from Mexico or here United States or anywhere country she from, she should think positive and enjoy her life while she is working. It is not necessary for her to give the customers the bad attitude. So what is the point for her boss to keep hiring her as stinky attitude if she continue to doing that?

Just for HISPANIC people. I was discriminated because I am white. First I waited in the line for 15 minutes because cashier was extremely slow and was more interested in the conversation with customer than check her out. Then I was told that there was Internet so they can not accept my bank cards. I dont carry cash with me because its not safe. They joked about me in Spanish and were laughing right into my face. Very mean people. By the way everybody before and after me was checked out with their credit cards without any problems. I NEVER HAD SEEN SUCH A MEAN PEOPLE.

OMG, this is horrible place,be careful when you pay food from this place,you might get sick,i pay 2 cups of atol with my son, i stand in the line for few minutes, suddenly a guy walk in and return the atol that he paid, when i asked the lady i want two atol,she give me the one that the guy return,i told her no i dont want that, i want a new one, i dont want to accept a food that been returned by another person, she told me its new and i said no, even thou is new that food is been out in the store,your not supposed to sell food that been returned by another customer, then another lady give me a new one then suddenly she put all of them in the same tray,she mixed them with the one whos been return,i told her why did you mixed them,now how can i tell which on is new,she keep saying, the one thats been returned is new, that is so crazy,you cant sell a food that the other person returned.., this place need to be reported... i will report them,
