I was extremely satisfied with the work done on my older Toyota highlander from DG Auto Body & Paint Inc, completed a few weeks ago. From my estimate appointment with David, he was helpful in explaining the details of the process and laid out a plan on how to fix my paint defect from the manufacturer on the side panel of my vehicle. He was very fair and up front and answered all my questions. A week later, I decided to go with David to do the work and even with the unforeseen paint peeling on another location due to the similar case of the manufacturer, David quickly notified me and came up with a solution that was great in helping me to stay on track and near my budget. Very satisfied customer! I live about an hour away from this Maaco but made the drive to have David look at my car that was in desperate need of restoration. I went to several other body shops near me (including other Maaco stores)- some cheaper, some way more money.. In the end I chose David and his team at Maaco Fremont because he is a man of his word and the quality of their work is best in class. The entire team I dealt with was friendly and happy to interact with me. Upon first arriving, David wanted to know what I wanted out of this paint job before making recommendations. He took diligent notes and then walked me through his shop to show me several different stages of paint and quality of work- PRIDE of workmanship! I am very OCD in general, and even more about my car. His attention to detail and general positive attitude was a blessing. He gave me a fair price and realistic timeline for the project. He kept me informed throughout the project as I was over an hour away and couldnt come see it at will. The paint job turned out PHENOMENAL. They even replaced metal where rust formed in fenders and bumper area- AND they did it the right way. It looks incredible and no concerns of rust coming back. The paint job looks better than new as I elected for the premium base/clear and polish on my car. Zero orange peel and very glossy look to it. Overall it was a 10/10 paint job and 10/10 experience. Fremont Maaco on South Grimmer is simply THE BEST!!! Ive been here twice to get my car painted. Once cause the clear coat was coming off real bad. Then a second time because I got into an accident (not my fault). Both times they did an excellent job!!! The customer service is the best!!! Mr. David and the rest of the staff are very very friendly and are always smiling!!! They didnt make me feel like a customer or just see me as an opportunity to make money like most places do. They explain and go over everything in detail so that you leave your car with them in confidence and without any worry or questions. They treated me as a family member or a really good friend like weve known each other for our whole lives. The turn around time was very reasonable along with helpful messages about the progress and status of my car. I know most people would be in a rush to get their car back but you cant rush perfection. Thats exactly what they aim and strive for and nothing less!!! You can tell that they are really passionate about what they do. Whether its body work and or paint, they pay attention to detail and it definitely shows through their work. Had my Geico appointment here to repair a front fender bender. Owner David was very tentative and friendly, detail oriented as well. Gave me a run down on what they were going to do and tried their best to accommodate my request for original parts. Friendly and professional staff, went above and beyond. I was extremely satisfied with the work I had done at Maaco - Fremont! David was great to talk to from the moment he gave me an estimate on my car. I wanted my car sprayed in Nardo Grey, and he showed me a car he previously did in that color. He went over the price with me, confirmed the work being done, and even hooked it up with fixing the peeling trim on my car. The car was finished with a week and a half, and everything was great. Definitely recommend this shop for the value, customer service, and quality!

Outstanding service by the Maaco Fremont team! I was skeptical about painting my vehicle, didnt want to spend much until I got a reality check from my mechanic on how much a larger vehicle usually costs to paint and realized what a good deal I was getting at Maaco so I went ahead and sent it in for painting. David did a great job of keeping me informed on the progress and responded quickly to my inquiries. I felt that they were completely transparent in what they were doing and the pricing for each element and how long it would take. For the price, I am more than satisfied with my time with Maaco Fremont. Dave and Emma are an amazing pair - diligent, professional, empathetic, and most importantly, they do great work. My 3000gt I had purchased was in a bad way (as you can see in the photos). 20 years of sun, weather, and a lack of proper care had my car peeling through the entire ceiling, hood and various parts of the car. Dave and his team fixed it ALL. They even cleaned my headlights without charge, and listened to all the instructions I had. They even picked me up from the BART station near their office. Customer Service at its finest. Yea yea, you and I and everybodys mother has heard, Ohhhhhh you dont want to take you car to MaAaAco, its a chain paint shop! But stop that BS right now - theres a reason the reviews are so good at Fremont Maaco. If you need a reasonably priced paint job, go to FREMONT Maaco, they know what theyre doing. Repair and repainting of the rear bumper was done. You can not tell that there was any damage. Excellent workmanship. My 2010 Corolla had horrible rusting on the roof and multiple pock marks on the hood. David and his guys did an excellent prep job and the final paint looks fabulous. My wife thinks it looks like a new car. We did select the upgraded urethane paint

Maaco Fremont is a hight quality auto painting company I trust. Kim was very friendly and arranged an appointment on a Saturday morning. When I met the customer service and quality control supervisor Freddy Cruz, I knew I found the right company because he was very knowledgeable about auto painting and reassured me that they would do a great job to meet my expectations within budget. They offered me a ride from the Bart station when picking up my car. The driver was very friendly, warmhearted and respectful. Surprisingly, he is the company owner David Gutierrez. He shared with me how hard it is to start the company. From our conversation, I knew David really cares about their customers and his people. They are the finest people, and their work is the first class. I really like them.

I had a terrific experience at Maaco to repair/repaint a bumper and tailgate on my Hyundai Tucson. David and team was extremely professional and did an excellent job on the job. They matched the color to factory paint and made it look brand new. They also reduced the cost of repair when I went to pick up the car as they were able to reuse the Tuscon logo on the tailgate. I had my car painted just recently. My car was looking wore out its a 2002 Honda Civic. It was burgundy I requested if the color could be change they said yes .I am very pleased with the way it came out. I almost didnt recognize it .Yes they did a wonderful job it exceeded my expectations. I definitely would recommend them .The price was very good .

I went to Maaco to have my front bumper mainly removed with a new one and i was extremely anxious to take it in not knowing if my car will be in good hands and when i did go it was more than a good experience. I was taken good care the whole time at the Fremont Location. Although the communication was lacking a little i thought that David and Freddy were good and helped me which i liked alot and they were patient, courteous and great to work with made me feel so welcomed and the whole staff were great as well. I received my car in good condition and my problems for it were all gone because it was repaired so well. I did pay out of pocket but it was worth every penny. I thank all the staff for taking good care of my Toyota Camry and me. Thank you once again.

They did a truly outstanding job on my dented, corroded 98 Saab 900S. Repaired two big door dents, one small dent, sanded down all the corrosion & some rust. Primed, did a BEAUTIFUL full paint job, same gold color as original -- but Id only seen faded version, the new original gold more metallic, glossier. In fact it looks TOO good. Now I gotta worry about car getting dinged, scratched. It never concerned me before. I gotta think twice about where I park now. Honestly this was a super professional prep & paint job. Car looks fantastic, perfect. Looked like a POS before. Price was reasonable. Very reasonable for the quality.

Maaco was incredible with the repair of my rear bumper and polishing some overspray off my front bumper. They were timely, respectful, and over communicated throughout the entire process. The owner David went as far as reaching out to me directly with pictures of the process. Pricing was more than fair. To be honest they are worth working with based on ease of mind alone. Working with body and repair shops can be stressful as a consumer... not really knowing what you are going to get. Maaco was great!

Took in my old car to freshen up its look, and honestly, this was the most unprofessional paint job I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen $500 paint jobs. The paint itself came out fine, but there is overspray on literally every single window (windshield, side windows, rear window). Front headlights, rear taillights and even the tires have overspray on them. The whole interior of my car was covered in thick dust, as if they left my windows open inside a lumber factory. Just terrible.

They did a great job of taking care of my little project mustang gt. Even though I asked for the cheapest paint job, David made sure to keep me updated and even sent me pictures of the progress! The car came out better than I expected! Thanks David and MAACO for the great customer service !

So at the beginning of looking to get my car painted, I visited at least nine or eight paint shops in the Bay area. None of those paint shops were up to my standards, thats just me. So at the end of my journey, I found myself going to maacos in Fremont. I had researched the web & read all the reviews, so I wanted to see for myself.So this is when I met David. This guy was about his business, I say that because Im good at reading people. He gave me his good opinion and advice on how the car should be handled. Step by step, frame by frame. The best thing about this, is when I spoke to him about my concerns, he had an open ear to it all. That made me feel ultra comfortable about spending my money somewhere and trusting the people working on my vehicle. At some point even the other employees came out and gave me a bit of advice, which Im glad I took. My car came out stunning at the end! I left that paint shop today feeling like a celebrity LOL many people was waving at me, and Im aware they were saying, hey nice car, nice paint job!!!So Ill leave it with this, David and his crew has done an exceptional great job on my Camaro. From start to finish. Its that type of feeling a guy gets when he gets a new haircut🤷🏿‍♂️ this was the best decision I made concerning my vehicle. I brought my 1998 Honda Accord in for an estimate on some body work and a full repaint. The owner, David, was very nice and went over my car to see what sort of things he recommended, while working with my budget. I opted for the urethane + IC paint (mid grade), the light surface prep service, and the urethane sealer. The car was in their possession for 13 business days total; that said I did have one door and the rear bumper replaced along with some other minor body work. The paint job came out great, very happy with the result. No major blemishes or oddities with the metallic. This is a good Maaco location and I would give them my business again. Of course time will tell how long it lasts but as of right now I’m very happy. I knocked one star only for the length of time they had my car. These guys do good work!

I had an accident with my Minivan and my insurance scrapped it. The minivan had been in use with my family and is a good car. We made a decision to buyback from insurance and get it repaired out of pocket.Well, for this I scanned after getting quotes from at least 10 body repair shops in FM & SJ. I chose Maaco Fremont finally and very thankful that I did. I will not at all hesitate to give them a 5-star rating based on my experience with them. The staff is extremely professional and yet helpful (their manager was able to help out with my finances as it was an out-of-pocket); the skill level and their workmanship is excellent (I work just up the street off Technology Dr. my colleagues were amazed at the details; they went over and beyond customer satisfaction & the paint job carries 2 year warrantee; I will recommend them to any one without hesitation.Thank-youAli J.

I have a 1960 Jaguar classic car which I am restoring on a budget. Great hobby!It needed a full paintjob, and a bit of body work here and there. I would not take it to any Maaco, but after having seen the reviews for David Gutierrez and his team in South Fremont, I decided to hand over my jewel in their care.And boy, did they do a good job!From the time I walked through the door, to when I picked it up again, I was treated with respect and professionalism. I was walked through the process and what to expect in great detail, and I was invited to visit as much as I wanted to follow the progress of the project.There were a few body work items that they were not sure they were able to handle. That was made clear to me from the beginning, but they actually were successful in manufacturing the parts in good quality.The paint job is wonderful. They helped me chose the exact, era-correct colors, which must have taken some time. Their prep work was impeccable (thanks Mike!), so the final product came out perfect.The total price for the whole thing came in a bit lower than originally quoted, which of course doesn’t hurt.Please support this fine businessman and his team. You will not regret it.

After getting sideswiped by a truck, by poor Honda looked like a bear attacked it. Took into Maaco, got my estimate and was out in 30 mins. They even gave me a lift to BART. I was paying out of pocket for the repair and was planning on selling the vehicle. I originally picked Maaco because they appeared to be the most inexpensive. They were by far the cheapest, but I still got a good quality repair. All the body seams line up, they provided with receipts for the the body panels they purchased, and I cant tell where the matched the paint. Very satisfied!

The Maaco people did a great job wielding the driver side door hinges back on and the cost was very reasonable. They will be getting all of my business from now on. Excellent work.

They helped me fix scratches on my front and back bumpers and the work was very thorough and professional.
