We worked with Kyle tonight who was in a hurry to leave by 6:00 p.m. and had no interest in selling us a car. He met us at the car we were looking at and rushed through the details. He sent us on a test drive, and when we returned he never met us back in the parking lot...we had to go find him in the building. He never asked us how the drive was or if we even liked the car. The 1st question he asked was how much we were putting down.  We also were low estimated on trade in value and when we gave our numbers that we found on trade in value he told us the sale was pretty much over and we would never get that much.  As we walked out the door he told us to email him when we find somewhere to give us our requested trade in value because he wants to know if it really happens. He alao advised that we sell the car ourselves and bring the money in if we feel the trade in value is worth more than they were giving. Legit the worst customer service I have received. Ever.

The Sales-manager was really good, she made the purchase easy. She was really nice and informative. I had driven 6 hours to purchase this vehicle and didn’t notice until I got home that the vehicle had paint overspray on the hood and down the entire drivers side. I take partial blame because I did not inspect it as good as I should have given it was a New $75k vehicle. I contacted them and they told me to take it to a local dealer and they would buff it out. They should inspect these new, expensive vehicles more closely before offering them up for sale. I would never have purchased it if I’d caught this issue. I suspect the vehicle has been damaged on the passengers side and repainted, hence the reason there is paint overspray down the driver’s side.

Thank you to everyone in the service department. I took my car in to have a sensor fixed and there was an unforeseen problem getting to that, They saw to it that I got home and back to pick the car up this morning before I had to be to work. They fixed my car beautifully, the price was good, They were very accommodating and a definite service with a smile. The service department is a definite five star. The person I later in the evening talked to in the sales department I will choose not to comment.

I was in bad need of a new car when I got one from Steinle. Super clean, just over 100K miles. But I’d never bought a car before and felt pressured by Mr. Steinle to get it - even used the typical “so-and-so many other people are looking at it” line to get me to hand over my debit card. After I got the funding from my bank and signed the papers I was very happy with the car...till not even a week later when it was leaking fluids. I took it to Steinle to get it fixed and they found a couple “issues” that they wanted $800+ to fix, for a car I had JUST bought! I made my displeasure abundantly known by the agent i had worked with and he eventually said Steinle was willing to “make a deal” but didn’t give any specific price. I told him to get specific numbers for me but i never heard back. I ended up taking my car to a guy who was able to fix it for only $300 and in the process found that a previous mechanic had broken a spring inside and just left it! It seems it was not as thoroughly inspected as i had been led to believe. This ordeal left a particularly bad taste in my mouth and I will not be doing business with Steinle again in the future. They seem to only be in it for the money and I would recommend others avoid them unless you enjoy burning a hole in your wallet.

I went to every dealer in Sandusky, Bellevue, Clyde, and Fremont looking for a specific vehicle I had in mind. Out of all of the sales people I encountered (including the Steinle lot in Clyde) Kyle was the only person who seemed genuine or even friendly... or interested in selling a vehicle. He made the interaction fun and I am happy with my outright purchase. I would highly recommend this dealership.

Dont go there with your own financing, guess since i did they insulted me on my trade! Kbb low number on trade in was 21900! They only wanted to give me 19,000 the appraiser wrote it only had 20% tire tread when in fact they only have 3500 miles on them. He also left out all the options. They will never get my buissness or anyone i know!

BUYER BEWARE! I purchased a 2016 Chevy Equinox from them on August of 2018 and have had two major things go wrong so I decided to trade it in on a newer model. When I purchased my 16 Equinox from them they showed me a clean carfax. Yesterday I went to another dealership where I found a newer model Equinox and wanted to trade in the 16 Equinox they pulled up the carfax on it and it had been damaged February of 2018. While it was still under warranty I took it to LaRiche Chevrolet in Findlay for a noise I was hearing and that is when I was told it had been wrecked and they could not fix it for me under the warranty. I then called Steinle and they told me to bring it there. They fixed it for me, but still acted dumb about the vehicle being wrecked.

My daughter bought a vehicle from Steinle in Oct. 2014. They were helpful with the paperwork at the time of buying it and we left on good terms. A few days ago she was pulled over and the sheriff explained that her plates were still registered to her old car. She was told by the sheriff and a worker at the BMV that this was the dealerships fault and she told the sheriff that we all assumed when we pulled out of the dealership that all the registration was being taken care of through them. The sheriff told her that this actually happens often and that all dealerships are different but they should have told her if it was her responsibility. She had to miss a day of work to go to court and pay a fine and court costs. She called and spoke with a manager after her appearance in court to explain the situation and she was hoping to get reimburse for at least the fine. The manager was rude and sarcastic with her and she was very upset after speaking with him. He told her I disagree with you but youre the customer so I have to agree, If you were my kid, I would have said shame on you for not having this taken care of, and I guess Ill have to tell my sales people that they need to be better babysitters. When she asked about the charge of a registration fee on her invoice he said that was a business fee. My husband was furious after hearing this and called that manager back to speak with him. The company still failed to do anything. Needless to say we will never return there and we will never refer them to our friends and family.

Bought a vehicle here and was very disappointed in the staff. Was signing the paperwork and they put the incorrect mileage on the title. I asked before I signed it if it was checked and they said yes. My fault for not checking. As soon as I got in the truck I checked it and told them it was incorrect, they said they would fix it. And like everything else they fell through on, this was not handled. I would not recommend this place. Thankfully I knew the vehicle I wanted and sadly the were the keepers, but other than that, I would never return to this place.
