Rylie helped me in the paint department. He was awesome. Especially after his coworker begged him to help because I needed 5 gallons in diff colors. He did 4 of the 5 colors while she left the one she did in the shaker & left the department. So Rylie....THANK YOU....YOU ARE A ROCK STAR

Always find what I need at Menards. Shelfs are always well stocked and easy to shop. Love their 11% off sale every week too! Employees are helpful and take you over to show where something is instead of just pointing in the direction.

Working on a remodel on our home and doing just about everything ourselves, but being very inexperienced with plumbing weve had to go back multiple days for this or that. Tony, in the plumbing department, has been an absolute life saver every single time weve been there. First for dishwasher hookup, then sink as well as ice maker line for the new fridge. Tony definitely needs a raise for just how amazing hes helped and made our experience a lot less stressful.

Went to Walmart in Freeport and an employee named Scott was wonderful. He helped me find what I was looking for in the garden center and loaded 20 bags of mulch into my vehicle. He was friendly and very helpful. I will recommend my family and friends to shop there. It’s so nice to see an employee be helpful with a smile!

I purchase a product from Menards online, I paid extra to have it shipped overnight. This did not happen, it was days late and 20.00 for nothing. I called Menards they said not our problem, call the shipped that you choose. While I said I didnt hire a shipper, fed ex, or UPS is who is Menards has a contract with. Menard refused to refund shipping

Menards says everything including some good food and some nice clothes and they have great helpers thank you

Dont ever order anything from here. Do yourself a favor and go to home depot or Lowes. This place is completely incompetent. Messed up my order not once, not twice, but 3 times! Then when they finally brought the right materials to finish my project, the guy unloading it off the truck, broke ALL OF IT!. This was after his truck leaked oil all over my new driveway. What a nightmare!

Excellent customer service. Staff was extremely helpful. Several employees offered to help my disabled husband with heavy items even though his stubborn butt kept politely declining. I felt as if they genuinely cared about making our experience a welcome one.

Menards hire friendly helpful people. I ask a question and I get a friendly response. If they dont know the answer they at least get me to the correct department to get the answer. Im very glad they follow the mask law and have everybody wear masks. Most customers keep to social distancing. I was waiting in an isle waiting for my turn in the same section and some guy moves me out of the way and moves the older couple looking in the area I wanted to look also. He barged in touching me to move me and touched them to move them. He started shopping at the same spot not waiting. Good thing he had pulled his mask down and was protecting us from his beard possibly spreading the Covid 19 virus. Some people just dont think other lives matter. But at least Menards try to keep their customers safe but nobody can fix stupid people.

Bought a shower tub combo had professional put in when it came time to put sliding doors in trimmed the channel down like directions said found out after i did that they sold me the wrong size doors a foot taller then should be how the hell can you give someone the wrong size doors if your looking the parts up not happy

My boyfriend is deaf and the employees will not write anything down when he asks them questions. He cant read their lips when theyre wearing masks. Employees need to be educated how to deal with people with a disability.

One stop shop! There isnt much that you cannot get at Menards. Both Men and women alike can spend hours roaming this store. Personally, I, when without my wife, travel up and down each and every aisle looking at whatever is in front of me. Always with a list tho,the rest is just bonus. You seriously cannot go wrong shopping here for most everything and nearly once a month they offer 11% off everything and many other sales throughout the year. Happy shopping.

When I can not find something from Spahn and Rose, I come here and they generally have it. Plus their products are on the cheaper end compared to many other businesses.

Everyone has different experiences based on what their day provided before coming to Menards, which leads to us being 3 to 8 visits a week at Menards as local property management & contractor. We have had very few frustrating moments but, when all are looked at over all, VERY lucky to have Menards in our community. We have purchased from every department & for the most part VERY happy with product & employees. Compared to other big contractor stores, Menards is the leader. If it is not on the shelf then ASK as they have provided access to great amounts of odd or higher end products. Keep on providing & progressing..

When you need hardware and supply s &dont want to drive 100 miles they have it for you.

Purchased the worst building trusses (made by Menards owned Midwest MFG.) Mending plates in ineffective location, partially installed mending plates, poorest grade of lumber I have seen used in trusses,

Woman sales person in appliances was awful today, told us everything that was wrong with the dishwasher we were looking at. I finally said you sure don’t want to sell it very badly do you and we left. No sale for her!!

Very friendly and helpful people today which is much better than my last visit. Even loaded the bags into the back of my truck. Only thing that maybe could be changed was I was in the back area over 15 minutes. Thank ypu for a good experience.

They where out of a few items, but alot of pallets in back row not put away?

Worse store Ive ever been in. I needed 3 6ft fence post. You have to go to building materials to order them and thats now on the far back corner of the building. After ordering them I checked out and the cashier was rude. Had to drive around back to get them and couldnt get any help. After I found them I saw that they charged me for the wrong posts. So I had to go back to the service desk then was sent back to building materials again to get the right ones ordered. After I ordered them just walked outside and grabbed what I needed then had to go back to the service desk yet again to get my change. And had to deal with yet another rude employee. I spent over a hour in that store just trying to get 3 post. Next time Ill take the 30 minute drive and go to Rockford. Wont ever step foot in that store again.

Hard to find specials.

I generally like Menards. They have a lot of great stuff, and Ive bought everything from hardware to kitchen appliances, beds and construction supplies from them. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that recently theyve gone to more pre-packaged stuff like chain in set lengths and hardware in set quantities.Theres still a lot of good stuff, but theyre starting to feel more like any other general merchandise store and less like a hardware store all the time. Kind of sad.Well, thats my 2 cents.
