Amber is INCREDIBLE! I reached her immediately, she was quick responding and was at my house next day I showed her my inspiration photo and told her to run with it and she certainly did! She has such a great talent with designer work. She picked Brown fantasy for my kitchen, selected a colored Beige composite sink, a Mediterranean bronze faucet, all coordinating with the plumber. I come home from work and didnt even realize that it was my kitchen it was so much more than I ever imagined it would turn out like. Such a great and easy person to work with. Great experience. The price was way less than we expected, and the countertop is gorgeous.Had a couple little issues, slight miss on the faucet drill out, defect in material in another area. Owner was out the next day for inspection and offered full replacement of the defective piece, as well as sending out a top level repair guy to ease out the faucet hole. He will be here next week (my schedule, not theirs) to make sure I am fully taken care of and satisfied. I have full confidence I will be completely satisfied with the end result, and I can tell you I am already satisfied with their result. Unless this review is updated by December 2021, assume I have zero complaints with the end result.The mark of quality in a company isnt that they never make mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes. The mark of quality is how they respond when mistakes happen. I cannot give them higher marks for their response.

I had a phenomenal experience with designer surfaces. I waited 20 years to have the countertops and center kitchen island that I always dreamt of. We started off working with Don who is the owner, and he couldn’t have been friendlier and more helpful when we were in the store. He literally took care of everything from A-Z, including the plumbing, leveling out of our island, the electrician and so much more. This may seem unusual, but we wanted a one stop shop and we got it. I couldn’t have been happier with the contractors that he hired for the job, they were as nice as can be and so meticulous. Within that same week we also connected with Amber. Amber has a way of becoming not just an employee of Designer Surfaces, but also a dedicated and helpful friend to those she assists. We ended up getting beautiful countertops but the process was a mess. We were told a lot of things by the sales person that never happened - like she promised we could see the design before they cut into the slab. They cut it without telling us and apologized but what could we do? Then we were told the sales person would meet us for slab selection and she never showed, even after we called to remind her. They said she was ‘on the way’ and she never came. We picked it fine on our own, but why lie and say you’re meeting us? Then their measurement guy did a terrible job and the day of install they had to take pieces back to the shop and recut them. There were measurement issues with the sink too, and it took an extra person and hours for them to get the sink in. Again, our kitchen looks great, it was just the process to get there was messy.

We have used Designer Surfaces for 4 different projects over the last 10 yrs. Each experience was terrific. We are very pleased with the experience from choosing tops through installation. Very professional team.

I am writing to you to commend your employees on a job well-done. I purchased granite counter tops with a warranty from Designer Surfaces, Inc. (through Costco), seven years ago. I called recently about some issues with the stone (Ambrosia White) and one of the seams and was referred to Mike Giacalone. He was very personable, knowledgeable, and patient, taking the time to listen and to offer recommendations while managing my expectations.>> Mike scheduled the repair visit and Giovanni and Deshawn came to the house as scheduled. They were extremely professional and worked to address the issues. They were not able to fix everything, yet, after my initial conversation with Mike, I was very aware of the issues inherent in the stone and felt that Giovanni and Deshawn did the best they possibly could.>> All in all, the experience was extremely positive and I wanted to make sure you knew about it.

We had a wonderful experience with this company. The price was great and the installers did exceptional. They returned our calls when we had questions. They were very patient with our changes we had to make due to our own mistake. You can barely see the seam in the quartz. I dont know who is posting a 1 star, BUT THEY ARE WRONG. I wouldnt attach my name and post pictures if I didnt believe in a company and their customer service. Take my word, CHOOSE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR COUNTER TOP NEEDS!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU WANT AT GOOD PRODUCT AT A REASONABLE PRICE!!! This company was very dishonest, and I would recommend everyone to steer clear of them. First, their representatives continually lied about why my installation would be delayed blaming it on other contractors. Then, they allowed the granite I had reserved to be sold out from under me. Then, when they finally had my project ready to go, I drove an hour each way to check out the templating laid out on the granite to be sure I was happy with it. I designed my kitchen with a drop in the counter at one point so there would be no seams in the granite. The templating I approved did not include any seams and actually had a big piece of counter left over. When the counter showed up at my house the next week, there was a seam in my counter that nobody mentioned until I found it. I asked what happened and why they didn’t use the large extra piece of counter. They claimed there was no extra piece. I saw it only 3 days earlier. They originally gave me a price for my kitchen counters using 3 slabs of granite. I reduced the width of my island by a few inches so that I would only be using 2 slabs to save money. When the pricing came back, they only reduced the price by a very small amount – much less than the cost of the slab of granite I wasn’t using. I questioned this, so they did then reduce the price a little. They were so dishonest in many ways!! After my granite was installed, I used a dish drying mat on the counter bought for that purpose. It left a permanent mark in the granite. They refused to take any responsibility for the quality of the very expensive stone they sold me. Why should granite be marked by a dish drying mat made to put on your counter? I repeat, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

The double bowl countertop from Designer Surfaces Unlimited looks great. Very much appreciate how smooth the process was from templating through installation. Jean, in customer service, was outstanding!

This place has very bad customer service. If youre dealing w Amber just completely forget about it. She never returns phone calls or even acknowledges that she has potential customers. Once we finally got through w a girl named Ali (who we only could get in touch w through a referral) everything seemed to go by quick.HOWEVER the night before my scheduled install (which we scheduled a week prior) I texted Ali asking for a verification of the time and was told I wasnt even on the instal schedule when we clearly made the appt a week prior.WHY DO I HAVE TO DO THEIR JOB IN VERIFING MY APPT? They should have called me 3days prior to my scheduled appt to tell me I would have to change dates.EXTREMELY frustratingI am so tired of PAYING people who dont ever want to do their job.

Our experiences with Designer Surfaces have been very good. We used them years ago for a remodel of a kitchen and bath so when we needed counters for our new house we went back to Designer Surfaces. The counters for the kitchen are beautiful and we bought remnants for our bathrooms which helped on cost. The selection process was easy and when we did the remnants we got to go to the warehouse and look through them there. The staff was friendly and knew their product. I would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase counters.

Our salesperson is most responsive to our needs. She gets us our projects quotes very quickly and answers our questions without delay. When they have done work for us, they have kept us informed along the way, and the end product has always been top notch.

You can see from the pictures that a Corian shower is GORGEOUS! This is the only place to go for a Corian shower. I now have a shower that soap scum cant stick to the surface, and the hard water at my house will never be a problem. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Thank you to everyone at Designer Surfaces!

We highly recommend designer surfaces unlimited. We have worked with many different granite installers on various projects over the years but were recently lead to DSU as our cabinet maker recommended them for our full kitchen remodel. At first we were hesitant to “change” but our experience with DSU was phenomenal. We will use them again and have already recommended them to our friends! We worked with Ally on everything from stone selection, initial quotes, template layout, install, etc. There were some mix ups along the way (there always are with big projects) but Ally was always available, responsive and truly cared about the end result. Toward the end of the project Ally introduced us to Mike who was just as phenomenal in laying out our template on the slabs to our exact specification. Mike’s assistance on the job install was also phenomenal as our job was a bit out of the normal for DSU as we had full splashes to the ceiling surrounding a 6 foot window. Thanks to the entire team at DSU, we love our new kitchen!

What a beautiful bathroom from Designer Surfaces Unlimited (DSU)! This is a Top Tier company! From the moment we walked in the door they were incredible! We wanted a shower that was easy to clean and Greg had shown us the most beautiful Corian. And what an installation! Its a work of art! And it flows! My blood pressure drops 20 points as soon as I walk in the bathroom!The granite counter tops were designed to perfection and go so well with the Corian. Greg was available for consultation throughout the project - no question was too small. And he had great ideas to enhance the finished product and worked so well with our builder that our builder is now referring his customers to DSU.Jenn encouraged us from the get-go. She popped her head in the door at our first meeting with Greg and she immediately understood my dread of cleaning crusty grout and soap scum/hard water stains. She knew exactly what I needed and wanted and helped us achieve that goal!In sum, Greg and Jenn were AMAZING, Don was always available to answer questions, and their product line is beyond compare! Everyone should have such a bathroom... and such a gifted and responsive contractor.

Had Designer Surfaces install corian countertops in our kitchen. Couldnt ask for a better experience start to finsh. Would highly recommend DSU to anyone looking for counter tops.

We did extensive renovations to our home including a granite counter top. This was done in December of 2014. Since that time, I have been trying to get Designer Surfaces to fix a flaw in my granite. They came back one time and worked on the original issue, an uneven seam. After working on the seam, there appeared a lime green discoloration about 2 inches on either side of the seam, exactly where Brian worked on it. I have been told they cant see it, it is natural coloration of the granite, they have never seen this problem before, when cutting the granite a vein suddenly appeared that is this lime green color. No where else on my granite is this lime green natural discoloration and I want it fixed. They are refusing to take my calls now and refer me to my contractor, Todd Beam. Todd has never even come to the house to look at this issue and it is now 3 months since installation. I am seeking legal assistance to resolve this issue. Designer Surfaces has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I will re-post with the outcome of my legal action.3/18/15 I spoke with another granite company and they said this is an obvious chemical reaction to something they used to fix the seam. I also spoke with an attorney and we are proceeding with legal action.5/13/15 Well Designer Surfaces continues to refuse to make their product good. They refuse to admit the granite had a chemical reaction to the solvent used by their service tech. I cannot believe any business refuses to make their product good.
