I took my vehicle in for service with an appointment at 830am. I had 3 things i wanted checked. I did not get my vehicle back until 530pm and that was only because I told them they could not keep it overnight! Im extremely disappointed with the time it took to get it looked at. Then when I went to pick it up, I was told that they only topped of fluid and the thing that was faulty worked fine and to keep an eye on it and maybe the extra fluid put in put more pressure on it for it to work. Im sorry but whether or not the extra fluid was put on it, it should still work. I dont see why i had an appointment when I had to wait all day to get my vehicle.

Wagoner there for 2 weeks. Mechanic vacation 1 week. Picked it up. 2 miles down the road, parts started falling off. Returned, they took them off completely. Left to finish repair at home. CRAZY!

Thought everything was great at first when I Bought a truck from them, went to title it found out it is still titled to previous owner. Messaged them, tried saying it was taking so long because of the pay off on my trade in, but the car I traded in I owned outright and gave them the title for the car the same day i gave them a check for the truck. Told me when my paper plate expires just come get a dealer tag and drive around on it. Previous owner traded the truck in April 30th so its been almost 90 days for them and odaniels doesnt have the title. Asked if they would work with me on getting me into something else that dont have title problems and was told no. Buyers beware. Take your business elsewhere.

Sales staff is fantastic!!!! Top notch! They weren’t pushy about anything and let us talk things over without pressuring us for time. Will definitely use again.THE SERVICE STAFF IS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!Won’t call back, keeps vehicles overnight without letting us know they planned on it. And now just hung up on us when trying to find out why “a few days” means 10 days while they have the part “ in my hands”. If buying a vehicle at O’Daniel’s means we have to use their service department, then they have lost our business.

Friend of mine bought a 2014 dodge caravan from you guys and in less than a month there has been 3 separate issues with the vehicle. They air conditioning, oil pump, and the transmission. This guy works 2 jobs to support his family and currently caring for his brothers 2 children due to a family emergency. He is on e of the finest young men I have had the pleasure to know and doesnt need a lemon of a vehicle from a supposedly reputable company. They wont do anything about these issues. This is what is wrong with America, money rules all and no respect for the hard working man. Im in the market for a new truck and you can be sure I wont be shopping there.

My review is based on body shop. My car which was quoted to be completed in 4 days has been at O Daniels body shop for 50 days now. This is the WORST place to take your car for body work. I have bought couple cars from them but I will never ever buy or take my car to O’Daniels ever again.Stay away from O’Daniels body shop if you have an option to take it somewhere else. Don’t be fooled if they say your car will be done in a week. You will definitely be stuck.Fortunately I have a second car, I can’t imagine living without a car in a state of Indiana for a even 1 day.

Bought a mini van here on April 10th. 2 and a half weeks laker the check light came on and the transmission started slipping. I scheduled an appointment and had it looked at. I was told that the transmission fluid was black and that the transmission would have to be replaced. I was also told that the engine light was due to a faulty oil pump and it would have to be replaced also. They are not willing to help me with these issues at all and was told that had they know of these issues they would have just sold it at auction. I paid 11000 for this van and now have to spend another 3-4 thousand. Buyer beware. Ill take my business elsewhere from now on. I can understand a month or two after the purchase but 2.5 weeks is outrageous.....

**** update: after talking to the sales manager and salesman, everything was fixed under warranty, parts were delayed but so far everything seems to be fixed***Sold me a car that didnt have a pre service check, yet still on the lot to sell. 3 days later we take it back in for said pre service check, 3 weeks going on 1 full month later, THEY STILL HAVE THE CAR AND ITS STILL NOT FIXED.Multiple parts needed, always late, wont inform you of anything unless you reach out first, and then when the part finally comes in the tech (also the supervisor Tyler) goes on vacation and the car isnt worked on for another 4 days only to find more problems, that require more parts and have to order them as well.*** Edited, thought twice on what was said and want to keep it more professional***Service department either needs alot of help, or needs to re-check services provided. Its less than professional than they claim.Ive learned a life lesson (make sure to get the pre service check done BEFORE you buy the car)

I did not receive Follow Up Care one would have expected or anticipated to have received. Instead I was told by A Letter Received bearing Mr. Greg O’Daniel signature and that of his Service Manager Tyler Butler that O’Daniel has chosen not to service my vehicle any longer and I have a text reading not to bring my vehicle back to them. Imagine the shock that the company who installed a pricy product of over $5000 and was paid by your Warranty Company Now instruct you only a few weeks later to not return your vehicle to them. Can you only imagine the pain and betrayal I felt and am still feeling? It breaks my heart that I have to endure this ordeal. I am so hurt and stressed. It tears my heart apart.As stated, this is strictly a personal experience endured and not related to my professional insurance service or career. Bought our first Jeep from a used lot right before our trip to Canada. Since we were planning on taking the new to us Jeep on a 32 hour (one way) drive we wanted to make sure everything was A++ before heading out. Who better to call than Odaniel JEEP!? I called and told them about the trip and said I wanted it thoroughly looked over. For $150 they said they’d leave no stone unturned. The Jeep passed with flying colors, they took their money and I took my Jeep home. Being the cynic I am I decided to take a closer look for myself. All I had to do was lift the hood to see that the brake fluid was toast. Took the wheels off to bleed the system and I find that the rear axle is pissing fluid from the pass side seal. Luckily the dealership we bought it from replaced it under warranty. I also took it to another shop to have them change out the differential fluid. The tech mentioned that the paint on the plug was undisturbed meaning Odaniel never checked it. When I called and talked to the manager he wanted pictures. I emailed him pictures and he emailed back “I have showed the technician the pictures and obviously there is something leaking and he has a hard time thinking he would have missed something that obvious. So with that, let me know how we can help you.” I’m pretty sure when I asked for money back they offered discounted oil changes or something insulting like that. Might be an awesome place to fork out 50k for a new Jeep but it’s definitely not somewhere you want to take a Jeep to be worked on. They’ll do work on your wallet and that’s about it.

Not too impressed with this dealership. Lack of communication between sales people and customers cause buyers to lose out on vehicles that they were first in line to buy. Sales people will not call you back after you leave them e-mails, texts, and phone calls. Even the sales manager wont provide you with the help you ask for. I would avoid this dealership. This is the second time of being treated badly as a customer. There is too much competition to settle for less.

Service department is lack-luster. Ive had my 2018 Grand Cherokee (with high altitude II package) for 9 months and my decrepit home-road popped a tire. My service advisor (who is great, and fortunately doesnt have much to do with this negative review) was out on 2/25 when I SHOWED UP to get tires ordered for replacement since my advisors phone wasnt being answered nor did I receive a call back. Thats okay, I dont know his schedule. ANYWAYS, ordered 1 tire on the basis that Ive only had the vehicle for 9 months. Nobody bothered to measure tread to be sure 1 tire would be adequate since it is a 4x4 vehicle.2/27: I show up to get the popped tire replaced (by appointment, my service advisor is now involved) only to be told that my tread is on its way out for the other 3 tires: Worn out just below an 1/8 compared to new tread and on its way to a 1/4. It was a fence call, but I bit the bullet and went ahead and had them order 3 more tires (I couldve done just 1 more tire and replaced 2 total) and I drove on the spare for a couple more days. Why couldnt anyone tell me that Monday when I was in for the issue in the first place? They did mount and set the 1 tire and put it in my cargo hold where the spare goes (with the gunk still on the wheel from slipping the tire on. No biggie. It didnt make a mess in the hatch) I was told not to worry about an appointment, just show up Friday morning (3/1) and theyll get the deed done.3/1: Made it to the service garage around 8:45a only to find out that my service advisor had to call-in due to a family instance. Things happen. All good. I let one of the other service advisors know who it is that I usually work with when Im there, and why I was there without an appointment. This advisor straight up treated me like I was a walk-in and as-if I had never been to ODaniels service garage before.Took pictures of my vehicle (all four sides with the old generation iPad they use), let me know the pictures were for my protection (eye-roll, pictures arent going to stop poor integrity from a tech), I let him know the mileage of my vehicle when he was looking at the VIN and the mileage on my receipt/exit paper is 3,000miles below what it should have read. My phone was called so they could ask me if the wheel and tire that was in the spares hatch was to be put on as well..yeah, duh, I thought; clearly I was ignored about who the service advisor is that I usually work with as they shouldve seen the order and work for the 1 tire from the previous Wednesday (2/27). They were also still only going to charge me for 3 tires after it was all said and done! Wow! What a deal! But honesty is the best policy and I let him know he should be charging me for 4 tires; I could go on about how this bloke was merely going through the motions of his job without much care. I was uneasy right from the start and babysat their service bay door and stood waiting for the work to be completed so I could go out and speak with the tech. I was out the door about 11:10a for 3 tires to be mounted and what do you know...3 wheels and tires are gunky and 1 is not. I was chomping at the bit to get out of there at this point, and was going to need to pick children up from school shortly thereafter. I checked the wheels out when I made it home and started cleaning the gunk off. All 3 wheels that had tires put on this day were damaged. The 1 wheel from 2/27 looked great! No wonder it was cleaned up now, and the other 3 were left dirty. The tech didnt bother to let anyone know he damaged the wheels he worked on. Why do I feel like a service guinea pig?! This is the 3rd new vehicle Ive purchased in my lifetime (30 years old: 08 Avenger, 15 Chrysler 200, now my 18 Grand Cherokee) and I still have yet find a service garage at a dealership that will treat my vehicle with the care that I do.I shouldve received a call already this week about when I can bring my vehicle back for their wheel guy to see if he can refurb them. I was told they would; but I think this other advisor is hoping I disappear. Hes mistaken

I was not pleased at all! I had a coupon that would of saved me $50 off an oil change, but because I didnt say it to the service rep before I got the oil change, he told me that they dont honor those coupons (Even though the coupon was for that specific location) I ended up paying $70 for an oil change that I normally pay $20 for. I was totally misguided and lied to because when I called about the coupon later that day I was told that they would honor my coupon. I was totally lied too and thats not right.

Absolutely horrible service. On two separate occasions I dropped my vehicle off for scheduled service, and both times my vehicle was returned to me without so much as being looked at.The first instance was a transmission issue I needed looked into during my warranty period (now nearly passed) in which they kept my vehicle for over a week, calling me daily to tell me that their transmission guy couldnt be found or was busy doing other things and hadnt looked at it yet. For a week I had to borrow vehicles to get around just for them to say they wouldnt be able to look at it and well have to reschedule when their transmission tech is back in, then never so much as attempted contacting me to reschedule.The second instance, this last week, I brought the vehicle in for a very simple service: purge the closed air ride system and re-fill with nitrogen. The appointment was schedule for the first thing in the morning, I dropped the vehicle off, and around 3:00 PM I was called to tell me that their other projects ran a little over and they wouldnt be able to get my vehicle in for service for another 4 days. I opted to pick my vehicle up that day and was told we could reschedule, and again have never been contacted about rescheduling this appointment.As of now I am driving around on bump stops with NO rear suspension and my headlights pointing to the sky. Very unamused with this service department. I have bought vehicles from this dealership and was hoping to bring them here for service, but I will likely not continue business with this place if this is the service that I can expect.

My husband and I went to look for a minivan. Ed Reyes was our salesman and could not ask for a better one. He was very helpful and answered our questions. He was able to tell us about each used van we looked at and was able to tell us the difference between the used and a new van. He did not try to push us into a new van or any specific used minivan. Casey in the finance dept. was also very helpful and went over the paper work if we needed him to with patience and a smile. Scheduled an appointment to view and test drive a vehicle and informed the staff that I would be traveling over an hour to get there. They waited until I arrived to tell me that they lost the keys. However management did tell me if I like the car and want to purchase they will make a key (as if I would buy before I drive). Such a disappointing experience from an established business, one that could have been avoided with a sime phone call or text message.Facility was nice, however. Granting one extra star.

Absolutely terrible service. Dropped our Jeep off for service because it had been shutting off while driving. They said they would let us know before they did any work. Instead they did some sort of work on the vehicle and charged us for it without discussing any work or cost! Then made also made us get a rental vehicle.When we finally went to pick our Jeep up from O’Daniels service, almost immediately after pulling out of the parking lot the vehicle shut off again and the same problems were still happening.If you want quality work, professionalism, and affordable labor.....THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!

Bought a 2012 Chevy Avalanche on 7/13/2020. 3 days later, and less than 100 miles later my TPS sensor warning goes off. No biggie however the next day, day 4 of owning the AC starts going in & out. It was ICE cold on test drive and specifically asked if it had been serviced. Next day (day 5) AC is completely gone and they tell me to pound sand. No offer of any win-win, taking a look, working with me or anything. Pretty sure they charged it enough to get it out the door and put lipstick on the pig. Will never do business with them again!Update: day 6 check engine light is now on!Update 7/29/20 Business contacted me and provided agreed upon service.

Very disappointed in the service department.They checked my car in for a brake inspection at 8:00 am (fist Appt of the day). I had been texting the number they gave me to use for communication and never got any response. They sent me a website that I could use to view the progress on my vehicle and it was never updated all day. At 5:15, the service writer had me on the phone saying they didn’t have time for new pads before close. At 5:45 I was picking up my vehicle that had no new parts on it. And this experience cost me $50.

SCAMMERS!!!! RUN!!!!2 different vehicles I was interested in that I saw on their website, cars.com, and autotrader. I physically searched their lot, cant find them, contacted used sales department. Salesman tells me how thats a wonderful choice of a vehicle and talks it up. Then said BOTH TIMES the sales manager is demoing that vehicle, let me get your contact information and Ill get back to you in about 10 minutes. Both times I get the same call, sorry that vehicle has sold is there something else I could interest you in? Let me start off by saying Ive never had a great experience purchasing used cars in the past. I wont say they were terrible, they just werent very enjoyable for various reasons. So, when I started working with Mark Butler at ODaniel to look at several cars Id found online, I was a little skeptical that this experience would be any better than every other time. I was definitely wrong because Mark was very helpful and patient and never tried to push me into anything. I never felt like he was trying to do anything other than what I wanted and what was best for me. I finally decided on a Camry and noticed that there was some scratching and damage along the bottom of the door. Mark talked to his manager Will and they offered to repair it in their body shop at no cost to me. Also, there was only one key to the car and they also paid to have another one made for me and it was the key fab style not just a regular metal key. I agreed to purchase the car and everything was very easy from there on. I went back a few days later once their body shop could get the car in and Mark set me up with a loaner car to drive for the 3 days my car was being repaired. His manager Will even went so far as to scrape off the windows of the loaner car and warm it up for me. Overall my experience was very good and I would recommend it to anyone.

Theres not much attention to detail here. I own a Jeep Grand Cherokee that I bought out of state. So I only go here for service. And thats only when I absolutely have to. Every oil change means going back to have them reset the oil change reminder. I know, I could do that myself, but its part of the service Im paying for. I bought new tires for my Jeep here (I didnt know that if you have to replace a tire, you have to replace ALL tires). Buying tires here gets you free tire rotation with oil change. BUT, they charge me for the tire rotation each time. Then I need to remind them of the free rotation, so theyll credit my account. A previous repair to the engine meant returning TWICE because they hadnt reassembled things correctly. Also went to pick up the vehicle after hours (paid in advance, they were to lock keys in it) only to find it locked up INSIDE their fenced area. I was just there for an oil change, but yet they didnt address the open recall thats on the vehicle. Wouldnt that have been flagged when they entered the VIN?Again, no attention to detail. OR, I wonder if Im getting this treatment because I bought the vehicle 80 miles away at a different dealership.

My experience on two separate occasions was negative.My first experience 3 years back when the salesmen argued with one another in front of us. We didnt buy our vehicle there.But we thought this time we would give it another try, after all, it had been over three years so surely things had gotten better. I checked on the vehicles online and submitted an interest notice and received a call yesterday afternoon from Katie to ask a few questions. Katie called me back several minutes later to let me know they would have this vehicle ready for me to test drive about 9-10 on Saturday morning. I received another call from a male salesman who said he wanted to ask me a few more questions and by the time I received that your office was closed.I made the hour trip to ODaniel, waited while a salesman searched for the vehicle and him telling me that its not a perfect world and their internet sales were call centers and didnt know what was really there at the stores.As we were about to leave, the salesman came out to tell me the vehicle had been sold late last night. Im glad they were able to sell it but my time was wasted.Ive given ODaniel two tries and I wont be back ever for a third.

This is a rating for the service department only. My experience in purchasing a new Grand Cherokee was very good. The salesman was very personable and attentive to our needs - and weve had no problems with the vehicle itself. While the quality of service is probably fine (depending on which review you read) the ability to make a timely appointment for a simple oil change is beyond them. Maybe they need more staff - or more stalls, but in the days of 10 minute oil changes and no appointment necessary its hardly reasonable to have to wait a week for an appointment. This has been the case for three appointments now. Incidentally, for the second oil change my wife was charged for the service (she didnt know any better) and I had to call in to obtain a credit. You would think they would not miss checking the mileage. ???? So, if you dont mind having an oil change done at THEIR convenience, not a problem. Personally, I prefer otherwise.

We bought a vehicle from them, we needed to have it serviced due to a check engine light. We had the code ran at a local Mechanic. We then called o’Daniels to see if it was covered under warranty “we bought through them” and they said “yes that’s covered and it should t be a problem to fix it” We set up an appointment to drop the vehicle the following week at 8am, my husband takes the car up to them waits around for 2 hours and They turn around and say oh thats not covered and you owe us $149 for us looking at your vehicle. Th way said nothing over the phone about it costing $150, they simple told us it was covered and to drop the vehicle off. I will never go back for service or to purchase a vehicle from them ever again.

When I was looking for a vehicle, I never thought that I would meet a TEAM of individuals that would have my best interest at heart.I met with Coach Simmons and explained to him what kind of car I was looking for and the price range that I was willing to stay in. Within a week, he called me and said that he had the perfect car for me. AND HE DID!!!Coach was very professional and caring of all my needs and requirements. He asked ME a lot of questions to make sure that I was satisfied with the car that I was about to purchase. I was overjoyed. There was no PRESSURE at all.Casey (Mr. MEAT AND POTATOES), was the gravy on an already full coarse meal. These guys were wonderful. They answered EVERY question that I had and explained everything to me in full detail.Coach is the perfect name for Mr. Simmons. I and the rest of my family and friends will be team players when it comes to purchasing more cars from this dealership in the near future. I wasnt sure if I could find a another car that both fit my needs and had what I wanted in a vehicle. (Im picky!) Unlike the others, he really took the time to listen to my situation and understand my specific needs. Taking Advantage of a First Time Buyer - I rarely ever give any business a low review rating, but I feel compelled. My daughter purchased a car here, in fact this is the first time she has purchased a car of any real value. She was so excited to get the car that she had wanted for so long. The car was also a fair price and the salesperson was very nice and helpful. She had a limited 90-day warranty or 3,000 miles. So, the cars limited warranty was for normal wear and tear with a $50.00 deductible. A couple weeks later I went for a ride and noticed she had a lot of noise in the one of the front tires. I advised her to take back before the 90 days was up and have it looked at as she was moving the next week. It turns out that she needs a new tie rod and it is not covered under the limited warranty. Even the car went through Certified Pre-Delivery Inspection and she had only driven the vehicle approximately 1,800 miles. The Service Manager said that this was not covered. When in fact it was making the noise the entire time, and she being a fist time buyer, just was not aware it was a problem. On top of that, they charged $149.00 to look at it and then advised to her to get if fixed where ever she moved to. There is no way they would have got away with this with any person that had a little more buyer experience.I hope you spent that $149.00 wisely, because she or no one else from my family will ever purchase a car there on principle alone. Way to go Mr. Service Manager!!!

35k routine maintenance. Nice price on the oil change and received $15 off my next oil change there from Valvoline. Quick to get my vehicle processed and only took care of what was needed and not what wasnt. Needed 4 tires so they kept it overnight since they didnt have what I wanted. Wasnt finished until 4:30 the next day. An entire day to change four tires? Left 3 of the 4 valve stem caps off. They offered to drive them to my house and put them on, which was a nice gesture, but I picked them up the next day. Everyone was easy to work with and very helpful. See you in 3k miles.

I got a car 5/8/2020 the sale man told me that due to covid19 that the car had not been service and he was gonna set me apointment for car to be checked . which he never followed Thur with. I only had car 2 weeks and I heard notice told them about the they fixed one stut but never returned any of my calls after thst.I need rotor and pad .and they wont even answer I picked a bad place to do business with.. Not happy at all..will never refers anyone there ..

I was looking for a used vehicle and saw several on Cargurus.com that were being sold by ODaniel. I connected with Ed and set up some test drives. We cut to the chase and got in the first Jeep for a test drive. Ed spent more time on his phone texting others and had NO CLUE what to tell me about the vehicle we were in. The next test drive was more of the same. He did try to tell me some info about the transmission, but when I asked more questions about it, he completely contradicted everything he had just told me. He really didnt even try to make the sale. He did tell me hes been selling cars for 30 years, but youd never know it. He offered a lower price that was ok, but I had other test drives scheduled elsewhere, so my decision would be the next day or two. The next morning I texted him to schedule a 2nd test drive with the one I liked best, but he didnt reply. So I emailed him - no reply. Then I left messages on his VM - no reply. By lunchtime, I called his boss and left a VM - at least an hour went by - no reply. I called the main number and got connected to Jim. He said hed try to get a hold of Ed and if he couldnt hed work with me. He couldnt get Ed so he emailed me his business info and we scheduled a drive for later that day. But, as things worked out, one of the other dealerships that did actually try hard to win me over as a customer came up with exactly what I was looking for, so I ended up canceling my test drive with Jim @ ODaniel. The other dealerships deal was better than what Ed offered, so it worked out great for me in the end.Ive heard good things about ODaniel, so I dont necessarily blame them for Ed blowing me off. If Im ever looking for a vehicle and they have something interesting, Ill ask for Jim.Hope Ed gets his sh*t together.
