I wanted to publicly thank Mr. Mark for giving me the kindest customer service I’ve ever received in a hardware store. I felt out of my element walking in but I now know deadbolts are located on aisle 32 AND the difference between several locks. He understood I needed help and he took his time to explain which lock would best fit my situation. I was so happy to have met him. When I come back to get light bulbs…I hope he is there because he treated me to warm and he made my awful day better. Thank you, Mr. Mark. Until the next time. :)

They say ace is the help for hardware store. Theres one person checking out customer with a long line out. It was the manager, hes been there well over 10 years. The man had six nuts and bolts thats the only thing he was purchasing. The manager says that I cannot check you out I need to have the price. He turned the man away after standing in line the very slow line which seemed well over 10 minutes because there was a ridiculously long slow return. Never even offered to get help or just ask him would you be comfortable with say $2 bolt a dollar a bolt or other than that I would have to go look up the price. No solution was offered, just stared at him said I need the price . I was the next person, every time I purchase hardware without a price at say a big box store. Theres a three digit unique identifier on printed on each one of the bolts that allows them to look up those letters for price. I said this to the manager Im really glad that I had all the price on the two items that I have and he just chuckled at me. Then I expressed him about the three digit code and he said thats not true thats just a generic brand. And then I went on to say nope thats not true those are unique identifiers for those bolts. And then he said so, I wouldnt know the price. Wow,

Racetrack Ace Hardware is great! The people who work there are very helpful, friendly, and kind! I highly recommend going to THIS store!! Id give it more than 5 stars if I could!

If you need help figuring anything out, go here. Very patient and helpful and funny. My new favorite place to go. They have Benjamin Moore paints, which is a plus. I only go to Lowes if Ace doesnt have what is needed and I know I can find it by myself. The help at Lowes is spotty at best. I think next time Im at Ace Im going to buy a t-shirt.

Great service! My company, The Carpet Machine Carpet Cleaning had a brass fitting break in our Truck Mounted machine. When this happens it is an emergency. We had many people on our schedule expecting us to be there. These are hard to find parts and almost impossible to get locally. One of the ace employees allowed us to send photos of the broken part to his cell phone so he could search the store for a solution. He found one in that saved us a round-trip to Pensacola which would’ve put us behind at least a day and would’ve met a lot of mad customers. We are very glad to have such a good, well stocked Ace Hardware Right down the road from us.

Today I went into Ace Hardware and SPECIFICALLY needed certain screws and a certain thread depth and length and Im very happy to say the gentleman who helped me was 100% on point with finding the exact screws and washers I needed, thank yall

Well, they made me a customer for life. I ordered a big green egg table and they asked if I would like them to assemble it. When I went to pick it up I realized I had misunderstood the cost and it was much more expensive than I had realized. Hunter assured me that even though they had assembled I did not have to go through with the purchase. I decided to remove one of the expensive options and go ahead with the purchase of the base table. When they profit it out to my vehicle, it still had the expensive option so I told them they had made a mistake, I had not paid for that. Hunter said he had decided to comp it for me. Wow, that truly exceeded expectations and I greatly appreciate what they did for me. Go see Hunter, Mark and the team for all your hardware needs as well as other local Ace items like Their extensive selection of Disc Golf items and Big Green Egg grills and accessories. Good people.

I was having a hard time finding an air filter for my AC unit, it was a number that I could not find any place else. Ace had it and several other things I did not know I needed until I got to ACE.

I receive great customer service from here everytime I have made a visit. Employee Tom, back in hardware has assisted me multiple times and each time was with excellent customer service. It is greatly appreciated, everytime that I have gone, I had in hand what I needed to buy more of or something close it. Tom was evey helpful in getting me what I needed.

Best selection of discs in the area. Always wanna stop by to see what new discs they have. Also a great selection of other disc golf accessories including bags, carts, baskets, and swag. Highly recommend if there is a specific disc youre looking for.

On Labor day they were closing early as we pulled up we really needed a shower shoe / pea trap. Instead of locking the door when they could have they decided to help each person out and had a professional and knowledgeable representative get with each customer needing help! That speaks volumes to them caring more about helping people other than getting off early. We were going to leave and not be upset, yet the representative helping us took us straight to the one shower shoe that was left the drain didnt fit it rather than just leave it at that he found one that had an adapter to fit mine or the new one and gave us a discount because they normally have the kit at $20 as it showed online. Thanks again and hopefully the others that you helped today leave a review as well!

Went specifically to this Ace Hardware for their 50 pound bag of rye grass. We always buy this product here. It costed $45.00 at the cash register, which in the past, I bought the same bag for $30-$35.00. We are on their mailing list also.They send coupons ($7.00) to get us to shop more often. Which Lowes and The Home Depot dont offer any incentives. We proceed to the check out lady. Then she proceeds to tell us we cant use the $7.00 coupon on the rye grass, for the product was on sale. THERE WAS NO SIGNAGE STATING, IT WAS ON SALE. NO WHERE ON THE COUPON SAID, CANT USE ON SALE ITEMS. The rye grass was not on sale, it was actually over priced. Then the cashier, is going to check the customers over a coupon, they sent us.I informed her to keep the rye grass, keep their coupons and take us off their mailing list. We will take our business and money else where. Which another business probably would honored Aces coupon to get our business and future business.Obviously a $7.00 coupon is too much of a lost for this Ace Hardware.Word of mouth goes a long way, well be informing everyone to not shop Ace Hardware in Fort Walton Beach, FL

I needed a key made and ACE was handy. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in the door. They had remodeled the store. Various new items. 1 problem I noticed a section with brooms and mops but could not find a small bucket. My mop bucket cracked. All the sales person showed me was at gallon bucket. Odd they sold all the standard mops but no bucket?All in all it was ok

Some people may find that annoying, but they are only doing their job, and theyre doing it well. Accepted help from one man, and he helped me find exactly what I needed quickly.

Fantastic service here! All sales persons were eager and willing to help cross reference items to assure I paid for the right parts. I paid less than half for the merchandise I needed, here at ACE, than I previously paid at Gatlin Lumbers hardware section.. and the People at ACE really were interested in helping, the didnt roll their eyes and finish their txt before asking if they could help me :) Love these guys!
