It had been at least 3 years since I had been in the Ft Walton store and decided today to stop in with my son. I was a little disappointed that there was no longer a decent selection of survival supplies and much of the merchandise had no pricing stickers. But the saddest part of the visit was the staffs behavior - no greeting as we entered, no offers of assistance, staff stayed behind the counter cursing and gossiping loudly, and as we were leaving no acknowledgement of our presence as customers. As a former business manager of 15+ years, I can say with certainty that is not how the business owners want their store ran!

I drive all the way from St.Louis MO to deal with these fine people. They are very knowledgeable about what they carry and are extremely friendly and professional. If you are looking for top quality kit, then this is the place to shop.

Great variety of high-end gear. Lots of good warrior/contractor oriented gear.You might be caught off guard with the pricing if you are not familiar with brands like Arcteryx.None of gear is generic or Chinese knock offs.I highly recommend if you looking for the best stuff out there. Only shop of its kind I have found in Fort Walton.

Excellent selection of equipment and clothing. Whether buying the gear myself or using Uncles money the staff always treats me well. They are hands down the best tactical equipment shop in NW Florida.

I live in VA and have meant to visit the GSS Gear store in VA Beach but just never can make the time. Was in Ft. Walton Beach over the holidays and decided to visit that store. Very impressive, the two gentlemen behind the counter were very helpful. Went out of their way showing and explaining how to operate a folding knife my 20-yr old daughter wanted. There were about 9 of us visiting and the two gentlemen could not have been more helpful, even at one point offer the ladies some bottle water. While the gear and prices were as expected and perhaps if you shopped around on the internet you could find a cheap price, what is nice is everything is under one roof. If they dont have it, they offer to get it.; cant beat that. We spent some money, had a great time, and will visit again once we move back this summer. Oh, being retired military they gave me a nice discount that was appreciated.

Very knowledgeable brother working the counter. Squared me away by staying open an additional 10 mins, recommending a new boot, and advising on some great stock. Crye central. I WILL be returning. Impressive amount of gear And impressive help. Get on it.

Lots of great stuff. Nothing is even close to a reasonable price. Everything in there can be bought for less than half the cost.

The staff is very helpful in finding what you need. They will call you back same day about a product if they do not carry it in regards to how they can order the product specifically for you or start carrying the product on their shelves.They carry Arcteryx and Crye uniforms which is extreme useful considering those two companys have an extremely Long back order time on their shipments. I recommend taking a peek.

Lazy staff just sat behind the counter talking to 1 person, I was looking for a holster but couldnt find 1 since most items arent labeled identifying the firearm it fits.

Always an excellent experience - especially if you are MIL / LEO...prices cant be beat.

Typical tactical gear. Some interesting gear. Everything is over-priced compared to local competitors. I will not be revisiting.
