I was stuck in a parking spot at Walmart on a hot grueling day. Michael came within 15 minutes. He Jumped my car and followed me back to Holmes to change the battery.. I had only an hour to get to my dentist appointment when I originally called. I never mentioned that, and I was not late to my appointment! They have worked on all of our family cars for over 30 years. They are more than a great company they are family!

I’ve always been impressed with these guys. So far I have had my Jeep there at least 5 times...because it’s a Jeep. Every time they fix it and they do a great job. This last time I took it in and they not only fixed the part that I brought it on for, but they also fixed a light that hasn’t worked for the last year. I didn’t even ask them to fix it, because it wasn’t a big deal to me. They definitely go above and beyond in order to keep their customers happy. I’m definitely never going anywhere else. Check engine light on. Diagnosed and repaired in short time. Lube, oil and filter job and safety inspection done thoroughly . Hard to find a place like that around here to do work on a 30 ft. camper. Highly recommend...

So impressed with these guys. Was in Ft. Walton for a few days. Had some brake issues and needed an auto shop that could make sure it wasnt anything serious and that i could safely drive it back to Illinois. They quickly got me in the following day and told me was just a warped rotor and was fine to drive home but would need replaced once home to resolve the issue. They would not let me pay them for the diagnosis of the problem. Not very often these days you can find a shop that will look at a vehicle at no charge. Especially when they know Im from out of town and cant take my car there in the future to show appreciation. What a class act! Thanks Holmes Auto and their professional staff!

Im new to the area so it was honestly a shot in the dark trying to find a good repair shop. Called a few places but no one answered. As soon as I called Holmes, Kami answered and was so helpful and professional. They worked with me on price and even gave payment options since I let them in on my current situation. The price was fair but the people who work there are amazing. I will recommend everyone to go see them!!!

I haven’t had auto service like this in a very long time. These people are exceptional in every way. I had an old Caddy that my late mother owned, and I wasn’t ready to give up on it yet. It needed a lot of work. They went over it thoroughly, called me with their findings and estimate, had it done in no time. I can’t believe how good that old car drove home from the shop. Quality like this is all too rare in today’s world. Well done!

I simply needed a fuse replaced as I am not young or nimble enough to be able to do it myself. I asked if they could do it and they sent a man out to do it. When I attempted to pay them for it they said there was no charge. I want to commend them for a very positive experience. I would gladly recommend them to anyone. Give them a try. I know it wont be free but I bet that they will do a great job.

We took our Travel Trailer to Holmes Auto Repair to have them look at our bent axle. They let us know that our second axle was also slightly bent. Mike the shop manager made phone calls and did the research we needed to make an informed decision on what to do next. Mikes information and advise was clear and VERY cost effective! After many years of service, and several referrals of friends and family, I must say Im very surprised to find out what happened to a vehicle I entrusted to Holmes Auto. My Mitsubishi Montero Sport 01 needed a transmission. I was told that no used or refurbished transmission was available with the contacts this shop had in Florida, Alabama, or Mississippi. They told me the salvage yard offered them $500 for the vechicle. I signed over the title and accepted the $500 and began the search for a new vehicle. Many months later, I saw my Mitsubishi being driven on local roads. Upon calling the shop for an explanation, I was told that salvage prices had dropped and they only offered $300 to the shop for the vehicle, so they opted to keep it. They then located a transmission, did the repair work, and the OWNERS DAUGHTER is now in possession of the vehicle. I was never contacted and offered the option to pay for the work and take back the vehicle. Many, many years of being a loyal customer, referring several family members and friends. I will never do business with Holmes Auto again, and will not refer anyone looking for automotive service.

The mechanics are not willing to fix a mistake on a camper that they “supposedly fixed”. Cost my friends over $1,000 & are not willing to take a look again to fix their mistakes.
