I dont think I have to say anything about Home Depot. Love this place!

Ordered a fridge, stove, and dishwasher. When the delivery came, the fridge and dishwasher had huge amounts of damage and were sent back with a rescheduled delivery date. Even though items were in stock, reschedule was for 20 days out. On the new delivery date we received a timeframe and waited...nothing came. After calling the delivery company, we found out that they auto rescheduled another delivery date for ANOTHER 20 days out without any coordination or notification to us. This date of course didnt work and now its 25 days out with no guarantee that it will come.Spoke with the assistant manager at the Fort Walton Beach store and they offered to refund the delivery cost. I can get the same appliances from Best Buy and Lowes for the same price, free delivery, and within a week.Bottom line: Dont order your appliances from them. Their delivery service is a third party who not only damage items being delivered, but communicates poorly with the customer and has zero accountability for their actions.

Average store older design and not competitive with prices was able to locate the same item from the Destin location at a lower price well worth the drive!

As always the home Depot does a very good job. Employees are very helpful. Great place to go get what you need for home or whatever type of building youre doing

This is a consumer report : Do not buy Home Depot boxes if your moving they are not strong and they fall apart easily. It is a waste of money. They should only be used for small gifts even if it’s a big box

Today we were in a store located in Fort Walton Beach. We wanted to buy a washing machine and dryer. The time was about 5 pm, it was after work, tired and with a toddler. We were in the right section and there were 2 old ladies who, of course, worked at work, but none of them deigned to ask what we needed and if they could help us, we tried to start a conversation, to which they simply ignored us, after the 3rd attempt to ask if someone can help us with the purchase of a set of washer and dryer, the lady who sat at the computer, ignoring us, said that she was once busy. After we told her that we did not have time to wait, if another specialist could serve us, she puffed out her cheeks and eyes) and wanted to say something, but took control of herself in time. (if she treated us as customers with respect, we could wait). I know that Home Depot has a lot of clients, but if all employees and supervisors or managers treat clients this way it will be a place for non-professional staff.

Lowe’s was being difficult to deal with so we came to Home Depot to buy our dishwasher. I won’t ever go to Lowe’s again. Ken in appliances was amazing! He was very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. He is an awesome employee. Thank you, Ken! My overall experience at Home Depot is always pleasant. All the employees are very nice and helpful and the selection is much better.

It was good, had help getting blower, and the 2 ladies were very good. Checked inventory found what I needed and got it down. They were a pleasant to work with, smiled the whole time. What a ray of sunshine, nice keep it up .

Do yourself a favor and shop at Lowes. Theyre significantly more customer friendly and military friendly towards local servicemen and women. The customer service at Home Depot was simply substandard. Even the employees working at HD referred me to Lowes. I will not be back to this location.

I had the absolute worst experience with this Home Depot. I ordered a washer and dryer set from them and when the delivery date came, the driver called me 20 minutes before arrived ( outside of the time frame they told me) to let me know that he ONLY had the dryer and not the washer. I immediately went to the store right after to let know what happened but the eariest they said they could reschedule the washer was for END of the month!

I returned paint that wasnt a match and was told that it was a match and therefore they would not refund my money or make me another can of paint. The manager made me another gallon of paint but I still dont know if it matches

Was looking around for something I needed when the intercom announced that everyone is required to wear a mask even tho state mandate has been pulled and CDC guidelines don’t require it. I immediately left and will now be a loyal customer to Lowe’s. I won’t be returning. Lost my business Home Depot 👍 :)

I wasnt impressed with the customer service in the key area. The man working there was not friendly at all. I think he was more annoyed with me being there. I said hello and not a word back, and after making my keys I said thank you again all I got back was yup. No smile or anything. Ok...what a way to start the morning.

Mark in flooring is great! He helped my dad and I, and made sure we were able to apply military discount to our order. Additionally, my dad went back to Home Depot two days later without me and Mark remembered my dad and immediately helped him. Mark was very helpful throughout the whole process of ordering thousands of dollars worth of flooring.

As every place they are short staffed but I was able to receive assistance.

Friendly and helpful staff. Helped my wife and me find a washer and dryer that fit our needs and budget. Who knew shopping for appliances could actually be a little fun?

They seem to hire people with mental disabilities and I truly appreciate that. Sometimes you have to wait a little longer to get a correct answer but I feel great knowing Im supporting a business that gives these people jobs. The store seems legit. I took a heavy load off in the bathroom and no one bothered me. The cashier always flirts with me. Shes probably in her 50s but Id take her up on it if she offered. I only gave 4 stars because I dont like women that are a tease. If she decides to offer up some private service I will update to 5.

I had plumbers install an insinkerator food disposal and it turned out to be defective however I couldnt Uninstall it until I had the new disposal otherwise my sink would be unusable. Well thankfully the supervisor Jimmy and cashier Novella helped me by finding not only a comparable disposal but the upgraded version of the same disposal for the same price and they allowed me a chance to bring it back the next day when the plumbers could make the switch so that i would still have a usable sink and no mess. I am so very thankful and would highly recommend home depot due to their extraordinary customer service. They went above and beyond to help this military wife.

This is a great location. I always get treated well and staff members are always there to help. During holidays they have one of the best deals not only in town but also in nation. I bought several DeWalt products from them during this holiday season. They also honor military service and offer 10% discount for active members and veterans. Overall, I highly recommend this Home Depot location for any construction material purchases.

Lady selling appliances was to busy on the computer to even acknowledge us, . When we finally decided to approach her, She told us that she was busy and we have to wait !!!! We asked for a Manager because we wanted to buy a washer and dryer . The manager arrived and was very polite however did not have any knowledge about appliances other than the price. We decide to go .

The manager Jimmy and Dimitrius went above and beyond to help us solve our cabinet issue. They are the ONLY reason why Im giving this Home Depot 4 stars. If it wasnt for their exceptional service, we would have requested a refund and went somewhere else for the product we needed. The store didnt have the items in stock after three weeks of constant coming back to try to obtain them, but it wasnt their fault. They did everything they could to ensure we had a good customer experience. Home Depot really shouldnt advertise in stock items that arent really in stock (weeks out), but again, not the employees fault. I appreciate their time they set aside to make it right.

I’ve changed my mind about the customer service on account of one man, Wade! This gentleman was the sweetest man ever and he helped me load my trimmer. He was patient and just extremely helpful. In a place where I thought customer service was nonexistent, Wade has completely changed my mind.

Absolutely disappointed with this store. Long story short, dont listen to a thing the workers say. And if you order a safe, they will NOT install it even if they say they will.We went in person to this store to order a safe so that our discount could be applied as it cant be applied online. We spoke with TWO customer service associates who placed our order and made it clear that we needed the safe to be installed in our home because we have no means to move it otherwise. We also made it clear we DID NOT want to purchase it if we couldnt have it delivered inside.They gave us a 5 day window of when it would be delivered and told us that it would not be left on the porch, period. They made that clear after we went over this 10 times because online it gives the option of paying extra to have it placed inside the home, but in the store our associate didnt know how to do that. Her coworker came over and specifically said she didnt need to worry about that because they will bring it in for us anyway and wont leave something like that on the porch.We even got a FULL page of delivery instructions saying if the customer wont be home and authorizes the delivery agent to leave it on the porch, initial here......which we DIDNT initial.And obviously by this review we come home to a 600lb safe sitting on our porch with no way to get it inside. We just moved here, so we dont know anyone, and I called the store to speak to a manager. It was 20 minutes of starting with we are going to help you figure this out from an associate to the manager saying she didnt buy it at our store to oh, yeah she did to telling me theyre figuring out where their install team went wrong just to be told by the manager in the end we dont do that and that we have to bring it in ourselves, oh and that they dont have dollys at their store....not that we should be purchasing a dolly ourselves for their mistake.This is absolutely ridiculous. They shouldve had someone from their install team they mentioned come and bring it in or offer a refund, again, for their mistake, and pick it up. A $900 item with no option to bring it in??? Are you kidding me? Such a scam.UPDATE: We finally found a dolly somewhere else. Now we open the box on the porch at this point because theyve nailed it from inside the safe to a pallet that is too large to go through our front door.Oh, and even better my husband and I both got hurt from the process of trying to move it in because the manager made it clear its our issue now. Of course we got hurt because Im 53, I dont even weigh close to a 1/4 of the safes weight, and we specifically asked for install for this reason.

Do NOT order carpet or any kind of flooring from this store, it has been nothing but a headache for my husband and I. We purchased what we wanted in February and it’s now mid May we still have yet to have it installed. Absolutely ridiculous.

Terrible!!!! Went in to the paint area to have my paint color adjusted. When I bought the paint, I asked for a grey color. When my walls were painted, it came out more of a blue grey color. I figured a simple trip to the store, a little adjustment, and itd be all good. Nope, absolutely not!! I was DEAD wrong!!The guy at the paint desk, Aaron, had an attitude immediately when I told him the issue. He had a mask on, but I could see his facial expressions and the rolling of his eyes. He told me the paint didnt have any blue in it and said it was my lighting. He was horrible at trying to explain anything or help. Instead, he made it out like it was my fault and put a vibe out that he didnt want to help whatsoever! Obviously, this was highly annoying!I tried to get him to help me figure out a color that would work with what I had already and be that grey that I was wanting. He didnt. He just said to go pick out a color and hell see what he can do. I brought 4 colors back to him and asked if he could make the paint somewhat like those that I brought him and not be blue. He paused, made a face, rolled his eyes, and walked to his machine.He was very rude, disrespectful, not helpful in the least, and that attitude will slap you in the face! I definitely wont deal with him again and if that means I use a different store, then so be it!The pictures are of the newly painted grey walls. One pic has my original paint swatch and the other shows the actual color on the wall having a blueish color to it.

Called today to check a store credit balance gift card. Clerk refused to help. Asked for a manager. Not even sure if I got a new person or not after I asked for a manager but whom ever came back on the phone took the card number and checked the balance with no problems. Just got off the phone at 228pm.

I waited 2 * for someone to come and help me after asking for help and someone called for help I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come both times at the end I decided to just leave without getting what I wanted its usually a pretty good store but this time I just felt like even though they may have been shorthanded I dont know I would have liked them to at least had said something to me instead of having me wait and I owe that no one ever came down

Talk about the best help received by these gentlemen, Rodney and Demetrius.Unfortunately, I had to return a range to Home Depot. Right from the time we arrived, where Roger met us, to several people trying to figure out a way to obtain a refund.Demetrius was able to achieve this for us.After two long hours, incredible patience on everyones part, Demetrius was able to retrieve everything and a refund was furnished.This isnt my first experience with Demetrius either.I had to replace a complete patio and Demetrius was most helpful. He always knows what he is doing and also makes sure you have a great shopping experience. I rate both these gentlemen with an A+, not to mention they are a major asset to Home Depot.Its great to have people in your life, whom brighten your day.Thank you,Dorothy Quill

Shopping for am outdoor flag display for our home and Home Depot was the only local DIY store that had the flag in stock.Very well kept departments with no safety hazards noted.

Prices great, cs superior, and quick to fill online orders. All that said curbside pickup is horrible. Text the reqd data and reroutes you to a page that never opens. This is my second poor experience with the curbside process. First time waited 55 minutes with only 2 customers in the curbside slots. Second time, I was solo curbside customer and same thing. After waiting I call the cs desk and was questioned as to if I sent the text. Then with order number given still had to tell them what was in the order. Total time 25 mins as only curbside customer. Sad as all other aspects are great. Now I use Lowes unless HD has it and they (Lowes) does not. Check Lowes before you use curbside at Home Depot.

Huge selection of any and everything you could possibly need for d.i.y. or contractor related projects and very helpful as far as service goes they can pretty much figure out what you need even if your not totally sure what your actually needing lol. Once again they have tons of top line tools but the selection for middle grade tools is a bit hit and miss. If you dont need it that day and can wait on shipping then they will definitely take care of all your wants or needs and they also have rentals so if its a 1 and sone project you dont have to buy something youll never use again lol. Top knotch all the way thats for sure but usually very busy because of that so be ready to spend sometime in line or hope to catch the scan and go lol

I have been all over the state, to many of large hardware/building supply stores. Home depot has more associates that actually have the experience to answer questions of the customers then the rest of thare competition, but also seems to bit higher price wise. A company that can sell you what you need and information to get the job done is Priceless.

I am close to this HD, I stop here first, more often I am let down by the floor staff and their troubles to help customers. Lowes near here isnt much better. HD in Destin is worth the drive.

I love Home Depot so much more than I love Lowes their pain is better and their products seem to be better and hold up better and its not anything bad to say about Lowes because theyre great store also but I just love Home Depot as far as buying products and tools and so forth out of there and the people there are always so wonderful and helpful and always around to help you find what you need

I talked to Karen Hooten on the phone and she helped me to made the sale of a whirlpool washer. Her helpfulness, can do attitude and all around good attitude has now made me a Home Depot customer from now on!

Very helpful staff. Especially Zack from the plumming department. He helped me in appliances and spend quite a bit of time with me. Even though hes not even from that department. This interaction alone convinced me to go ahead and buy my appliances from Home Depot.

Why not have 2 of everything in stock why must we wait on merchandise 9 days! The store is big enough for all,not in stock online or in store corner stabilizer, van ladder rack, 40ft ladders get rid of the fake gutter, start selling mid west snips red and greens, end cap crimps, I see the downspout crimps were is the rest of the supplies?

Meh...if you are going to post signs that facemasks are required, then enforce it. If not, take the signs down! And, Whats up with letting all the dogs in? I am all for dogs but...geez...some goobs bring in their untrained dog and you pretend not to see them?

It showed them having bookshelves in stock online. They did not have a single bookshelf. They had storage cubbies but they were of the worst quality. From there I went to get a large rug for my main room......no rugs but these little 5x6 throw away rugs. From there I went to look at lighting. Found a lamp I liked....sorry...not in stock and would not let me buy the display. Found another vintage looking lamp that I liked and again not in stock. I will not go back.

The customer service is AWFUL Went in to by a product after waiting several weeks for it to arrive. Both frank and George were NOT helpful. Told me it would be needle in haystack to find the product from all the items from the semi unloading. Went to see manager and complain about the customer service or “lack of”within 5 minutes George showed up with product claiming to be the manager on duty. It didn’t take long at all to locate the product I requested. Poor management. Lowe’s treats their customers better and that’s where my money will be spent from now on.
