Great food, free or for a donation. Everything is not 100% fine, but if you grabbed something spoiled just trash it. A lot of perfectly good food distributed helps reduce waste in our markets and help people to stretch their budget. Everyone is welcome to swing by when they are open and discover what they can fine. ExcellentVery nice and appreciated!My 1st time there.The people are amazingly helpful and do not look down on anyone!I have been unemployed and my unemployed ran out. I have used the food bank, and I appreciate the help from the food bank, but here I was able to choose what I needed. I did give a donation and all the food I obtained I have meals planned.Thank you so much for this resource!

Vindeket is amazing! They rescue food that is still good and I am able to get such amazing things for my family. Fresh produce and dairy and meat and even canned goods. Everyone there is so friendly and helpful. They are all volunteers and anyone can volunteer there! I live Vindeket so much!

This place has an amazing purpose. Everyone is very focused that works at Vindeket. I highly recommend donors help them grow and give opportunity for them to spread the light and assistance they provide to a much further reach than where they are right now. The world needs places like Vindeket Foods.

The best spot ever. Rescuing food saves the planet and we all get great quality inexpensive yum food and try all sorts of new stuff we wouldnt normally buy. Super cool people. Vindeket is amazing.

Fantastic way to stop food going into the landfill. Take only what you know you can use. All volunteer based, so chip in $ what you can. Prepare to wait as it has become very busy. Dont forget to bring your own reusable bag.

Vindeket is amazing! I like that I can get delicious and interesting foods (and often organic/natural) for cheap while also saving them from the landfill. Much of the food that ends up here only has minor damage, like a crumpled corner of a box or one broken egg in the dozen. The volunteers are lovely too!

I love what this place is doing for the community. The people there are hard working and very helpful. They make you feel welcomed even if its your first time. All they said was; shop like a regular grocery store and befor we you leave make a donation if you can. I understand they cant control everything, but for those looking for food shouldnt have to worry about finding mold on bread. Id just suggest to them to take a second look before putting items out. I cannot state enough how much a place like this is appreciated and very much needed these days so thank you!

Great place to go if you only have a few bucks and need some groceries. Has a food bank feel but they dont limit you on how much you can get. I do suggest you bring your own bags to fill up.

What a wonderful place! I recently discovered Vindeket Foods through a post on Nextdoor.com. The whole idea is to help prevent food waste. Food that is perfectly good is thrown away by many supermarkets just because of use by best before and sell by dates. Granted, supermarkets really cant sell food that is past these dates but it doesnt mean it cant still be eaten. This food is collected by the volunteers at Vindeket Foods and is available to ANYONE that can use it. If you have little or no money for food - come! If you have enough money and want to help stop food waste - come! Walk around the store; take what you WILL use. Donate to the running costs if you can. Wonderful, friendly people and no judgement! I recommend Vindeket Foods to ALL!

Vindeket Foods is SUCH a rad place! Nathans vision of reducing food waste and making the donated food accessible to all is clearly demonstrated in VF. There is a wide array of refrigerated food, produce, dry goods, plants, and more. Voluteering at Vindeket is rewarding and shopping there is a treat! All are welcome here- old, young, rich, poor, vegan, meat-eater, etc!

Nicest people. The foods are delish and affordable. (Ie, pay what you can). Why wouldnt you go there???Ive since been a few times. And even took my sister there. As shes going to school and is hurting for food atm..each time were greated by friendly people. And they encourage us to take food. There isnt guilt around it. Thats nice because for awhile I felt like by taking food I was taking it from others. But they have food that goes bad that people dont take. So, go and donate what you can afford, and get food so youre not hungry. Thank you guys for doing this kind thing.
