Cute local coffee shop. I order toasted flake and glacier. I preferred the toasted flake. Didnt care for the other one it tasted like too much chocolate. Had few items to buy. I was happy to see a cat magnetic and buttons.

Coffee was good and cafe was cute. Food and bakery items need some improvement.

I am a huge advocate of local business, so I’ve waited a long time (several years) to give a review because I wanted them to have full benefit of the doubt.Customer service has really improved since I first started trying them out 👏 I would rate the people on my last visit a 5/5. The atmosphere and coffee, not so much. I’m a serious coffee lover, and their espresso doesn’t hit the mark. It’s really light and acidic, rather than bold and smooth like espresso should be. The apple fritter is decent but tastes exactly like the fritters at Kwik Trip, except $4 more expensive. However I recently tried their cold press and was pleasantly surprised, very good!All in all, I will continue to give it the occasional visit, but it hasn’t earned any loyalty from me.

Never have any of their menu items listed. And take multiple minutes to answer when you get in the drive thru.

Coffee was just alright, but the staff was friendly. Good place to quickly stop by, not so much to sit down & study.

The shop is very cute, but I was disappointed. The espresso was burnt, and I say this as a former barista.

Honestly, it has some pretty good drinks. Put was okay because it seemed the reveiw kept getting deleted or something weird but it is actually decent coffee place.

If you can drive a few more miles off the freeway! & Want to try some local brews.. try this place its gotta drive-thru.I got raspberry white mocha with extra shot of espresso 😋so tasty had me buzzing all the way north to my destination.

Super sunny and pleasant spot. Friendly staff. Good lattes and pastries. Didnt utilize it this time because parking was a cinch out front and Dad could stay with the kids, but I love that they have a drive thru.

Coffee isnt bad. Staff is very impatient, not willing to answer questions. Food is bad. Not the place you want to sit and relax.

Nice place. The English muffin sandwich my daughter got looked tremendous and she really liked it. The coffees were pretty good, although they dont seem to have the knack for texturing the milk. My latte was more foam.

Moved up from South Minnie to Forest Lake 2 years ago, and our family was so happy to find a great local coffee shop that rivals old haunts. Delicious hot coffee for mom & dad, exceptional blueberry muffins & cocoa for the boy, speedy friendly coffee-shop service, and even a dog bone for the pup-do in the drive-thru. There is no Dunn Bros in this town, which is the only chain I’d go to anyway, but I’d skip that for this. We 💜 It.

Great, locally owned coffee shop. Very friendly service, well prepared coffee and nice selection of pre-made sandwiches, pastries and yogurt snacks.For non-coffee drinkers there are Pepsi products, orange juice and water.Very well lit with lots of windows.Plenty of covered outdoor seating which is great on temperate days.WiFi speed allowed me to work from here.

The coffee did nothing for me. It was almost like I was drinking decaf. I also had their breakfast burrito and it was incredibly plain. They didnt even have cheese on it. The lady at the register sounded like she had a cold and was the one who made the burritos. Im hoping I dont end up sick because of her. Definitely was not impressed

Coffee was pretty good, a little bitter. Service was GREAT. 3 stars because so few customers wore masks even to walk inside. I sat in my car rather than even walk through to their patio.

I wanted to like this place, I really did, but what can I say but disappointed....I got an iced latte, it was made wrong first, then I got it, and it literally had three ice cubes in it. I tasted it, nothing. Almost no taste at all. They dont have straws, no Stevia. (ITS A COFFEE SHOP!!) All the little smug posts, about this and that, no service type of stuff....With small businesses failing, they should rethink the little jabs at paying customers. I had my husband try the coffee, he was underwhelmed to say the least. I tossed it. Wont be back.

Loved this coffee place but I place my order in the drive through and drive up to the window to pay, the person at the window has a mask on but the person making the coffee only has her mouth covered with her mask. I drove off. Dont need to possibly get sick. Law is if you want to be open you follow the guidelines.

Best sugar free white mocha Ive ever had! Staff were very friendly too. Two stars though because none of the employees working the drive through were wearing masks. Ive been a barista, I know it gets hot and uncomfortable.But given the current state of the pandemic its smart business as it shows your customers care about their health and the health of your employees.

Super good muffins! I had the morning glory and it was moist and full of healthy ingredients! Paired with a hot cup of mocha made with yummy, freshly ground beans and just enough chocolate, I was in my HAPPY place!!

Beautiful little shop in town. Good coffee and the best part is they re-use their coffee cups so less waste. Ill be coming back.

Odd the refused to sell me a scone. They has them in the bakery case, but said they we for tomorrow. Why have them out at 5pm when you dont close until 6pm. I was a paying customer, I dont get it. I didnt care if they are cold or anything. I Just wanted a scone?!

I love that they offer coconut milk. Often places only offer soy and/or almond milk as dairy alternatives, and I cannot have either of those.Also five stars for this snarky sign. Baristas deserve your respect for the few minutes it takes to order and pay for your stuff, amen to that!

This shop is so amazing and definitely worth the drive! The Italian Sodas are so great and start to fizz when you put ice in them, which is fun! Their mango smoothies are my favorite, but all of their smoothies are delicious. My Mom always gets her coffee from there. They rarely mess up your order. The shop is so clean and the staff are so kind. There are even little fridge magnets and souvenirs you can by from there for cheap! Please visit!

My go-to coffee shop! Staff is so friendly. Prices are good for a small business and the quality of them.

We (family of 5) went in, one girl working. She did an amazing job helping all of the customers in house and at drive. My youngest ordered an Italian soda and did not like it, she took it back, did not charge us. She was calm and collected the whole time. I noticed that my sons hot chocolate and my latte was steamed in the same pitcher,I was nervous that his hot chocolate would be too hot. Hot chocolate not too hot, my latte was in the cooler end (I prefer 160°). I would have liked to have seen napkins and straws available instead of having to ask. Overall, love this place! I work at the big name coffee shop in town, wait time is a huge deal. I did not mind the wait at Kodiak.

The sign on the door said lobby closed, drive thru open. I sat at the drive thru speaker for 5 minutes and was never greeted. I though it might be broken, so I pulled up to the window and waited there. No one ever helped me. I was excited to try a local small business, but I guess I wont be going back.

Really nice little coffee shop. Lots of seasonal drinks and good food in a nice atmosphere. If youre looking for Caribou or Starbucks, this is not it. But if youre looking for a smaller place with their own take and a rustic flair, this is for you.

Th coffee here is great and the staff is very friendly. Its close to me and we used to go here alot. I need to start going again because I forgot how great this place was. I love the designs inside and the wall design outside is really cool. Great place to have meeting and morning get toghethers.

I stumbled upon this shop while waiting for my car to be fixed and I can say that it is easily one of the best coffee shops I have ever been to. The employees are extremely friendly, the customer service is exceptional (they will tailor their coffee exactly how you like it), and the food and drinks are among the best in the twin cities area.I definitely recommend going to this place if youre anywhere near Forest Lake!

Kodiak is a nice quiet shop, that has that quaint homey feel. Its great for getting together to talk with a small group. My only complaints are that its a bit small and drink options other than coffee and tea are limited.

Not very nice people... I waited for the espresso machine to get fixed and they were not pleasant to talk to afterwards. I am an avid coffee lover and even have my own espresso machine. I would give their coffee and espresso a 2 out of 10. Choose Starbucks or Caribou instead....
