Everything was going great until this white elderly lady told me to get out of the line even though it was my turn to pay! I’ve been coming to this target for years never have I ever experienced something like this. I am definitely really upset that target allows people like this!

The Folsom Target never disappoints. There is a large parking lot here, curb side pickup is offered here, clean restrooms and fitting rooms. The store is organized and stocked well. There is also a Starbucks inside the store. Good experience overall!
The people that work at target are very kind whenever I have to ask a question. I have to express how happy I was with the customer service today, my cashier, Will, was very sweet and kind throughout the entire time. He was very well-spoken, also very handsome!

It was a kind of awkward experience tbh. I was looking for some adult diapers for my meemaw and peepaw when this sussy baka looking white lady with dreads and 6 in long acrylics went up to me and asked me if i could rate her singing, she started singing Oprah. She wasnt bad at all but i was in a hurry and the song she sang wasnt even something you would usually sing like oprah, it was literally the song that goes, i have an appple, i have a pen.... and so on. like what?! I ended up not making it home in time and my meemaw and peepaw wet the bed :( Ill give a 3 star tho cuz she was pretty good, and they had the right diapers.
On this trip: store location, layout and value. Folsom store location is probably good for locals, but not for people who had to travel to it for something. Layout - why is the entrance at that end and not the middle? It is a hike and then some if you want something from electronics and that is 3/4 away down the store. I wonder do people actually get anything from the far end. However, Target had just about the best price for what I was looking for. If only one of the 2 stores that are closer to me (and are better layed out) had it in stock.
This is specifically for the curbside pickup. 12/19/20@ 1230. The crew was amazing. Couldnt figure out how to change in store pick up to curbside until we were in the curbside parking spot. Within 2 minutes of making the switch from in-store to curbside, our goods were delivered to our car. Amazing. Though it was hard to find curbside pickup option on app, it was worth the struggle. Go Target!!! Safe, courtesy service.
Not the best target I’ve been to, but still a target. Seems that they are out of stock on items I’ve been looking for on the regular, however, still considerably better than the local Folsom Walmart.
Had a BAD experience in the electronics department. Was checking the quality of a cell phone cord charger in front of employees and the man and woman that were running the apartment made me feel as though I was trying to steal it by the way they were acting even after I explained to them what I was doing. I decided to purchase the cord in the same department and the man that was behind the counter said with a horrible smart attitude oh you still want to buy it. Didnt appreciate that statement. Actually told him not everybody thats looking at the products/quality is trying to steal something. .. I can only hope that writing my experience down will only help that department.

Store is clean and open and well lit. Clerk in self checkout area offered to scan my items for me. Everything I needed was available.
Their curbside pickup at this location is great. The employees come out right away and are always friendly. Staff at customer service are very nice too.

Never buy those appliance from Target. They have 90 day return policy and if anything goes wrong they can not help in any form. They just say, please contact the manufacturer (ex-Oster) and i call them but no support at all. They give the link for the parts request which is blocked by any secure internet connection. Buy appliance from Walmart or costco, you will get full support.
This Target is doing an amazing job of drive-up pickups for online orders (much better than the local grocery stores, restaurants, and a couple other big-box stores). Ive done it twice now at this location, both times: no unexpected omissions or substitutions in my order, good selection of stock online, order is ready in a few hours, pickup is *actually* contactless, plenty of designated parking for pickup, and a Target employee arrived with my bags within *seconds* of me pulling up and popping the trunk. Thank you for pivoting, Target.

I specifically called ahead to the pick up department to talk to an employee about the fact that I was coming to pick up a Christmas present for my son and had him with me and asked for them to put it in a bag where it wouldnt be visible and when I got there she brought it out in this see through plastic bag and my son immediately saw it and knew what it was and I went home and cried because Im really struggling financially and that toy was supposed to be his biggest Christmas surprise since it was the most expensive one and Im just really upset that it didnt get to be a surprise. I worked hard to save up enough money to buy it and the careless employee screwed it all up. I just hope that doesnt happen to anyone else, Im still really upset about it and no one deserves to have their Christmas joy dampened by careless employees....
The shopper got my order right and it didnt take long to have my order delivered.

Long wait time to pick up order. Employees had no idea how to remove bag fee. Two employees insisted that the bag fee would fall off when I get final receipt. I insisted to have them remove the fee because I brought in my own bag and I do not want more plastic bags. They would not take the items out of the Target bag. Now I am stuck with a 10 cent charge per bag (total 20 cents). This isnt about them money so much. Its the principal and the plastic is bad for the environment. Employees need to be trained on how to remove the bag fee if customer brings in their own bag.Update: Someone from Target emailed me to follow up. When I replied sure, she never contacted me again. Go figure.
Create desktop browser drive up shopping. Confusing, shouldnt be only mobile acceptable.

The service at this Target is wonderful, and it is always kept very clean. However, I have to give 3 stars because the recent remodel has made shopping here a bit of a nuisance. It is difficult to find what we need. For example, the womens razors are near the back of the store, beyond even the mens area, instead of being next to the womens hygiene products. With the remodel they also got rid of a large amount of products, unfortunately making me resort to shopping more at El Dorado Hills location or online. It makes me worry that changes like this will only make the online takeover of brick and mortar stores that much easier. Long story short, this Targets service is wonderful, the layout is not.
The remodel made the inside very bright and open and modernized the layout and fixtures. Same great target staff.

I came here after being highly recommended by a friend. My iPhone 6S+ had a pretty bad crack on the screen and they were able to replace it with an OEM screen. The fit and finish looks just as good as new. All functionality works great. I was able to call in to make an appointment and had the screen replaced in less than 30 minutes. The location is also convenient and you do not need to deal with all the traffic at an Apple Store. Best of all, the price was right.
Unreliable pharmacy. Made appointment for flu shot. No one called or emailed me that they had run out of needles.

Found a cute dress out on the floor, when I tried to buy it they said it wasnt for sale for another 4 days and I couldnt buy it. They wouldnt let me leave with it even though they had it out for sale. The girl took the dress from me and put it back out on the rack. They are probably still sitting out for sale now.Update! Just went to the El Dorado Hills location and the SAME EXACT thing happened again! Check your items before you put them out!!!!!

First things first, I don’t live close to this location, but it was the ONLY store that had what I needed.I ordered some makeup online, and went in the next day to pick it up, while I was on my way there, I got an email saying my order had been picked up. Once I arrived and parked, I called, explained what happened and the lady I spoke to LEGIT tried telling me I did pick it up. Umm No. Someone with the same last name as me picked up my order. I go in, got it figured out, and asked the guy who helped me “who didn’t do their job right?? Because I’ve ordered online from Target before and know you have to scan the persons id and make sure the ENTIRE name matches” ...of course he didn’t have an answer.So I made sure I bought a second one so I don’t have to come back!
I know covid is crazy times, but this was a problem long before the pandemic. Every single time I go to this store the shelves are completely empty. My kids even said this last time we down the toy isle. We have started to shop at El Dorado Hills Target since they actually have the product on the shelves.
Im truck driver i go to dliver stuff and last stop guy did mistake he not put pellet properly and folsom staff yell on driver and I did help with them put stuff together but they dont care they no appreciate to me no thanks I tell them thank y0u all staff is Ruth
When you enter this new Targe at 13th St & Folsom, you’ll be greeted with 1-2 Target staff with infectious smiles. Easy to find products that I needed!!! Lines at the Cashiers are pretty fast tooI will definitely come back to this store.
The store associates are so helpful and friendly. And there are great prices and deals on what I need. Love the new layout of the store and the new home collection has gorgeous items.

Used to love going to Target, but they changed the store layout in Folsom. Now it is a huge mess. Can’t find anything, can’t get around and the store is empty. So I now shop on Amazon.

The new layout after the remodel is terrible. Its almost as if entirely no thought was put into the process and they just randomly distributed items through out the building. Ive resorted to only shopping this location when I need to quickly pick up something specific. Otherwise, Im investing the drive time into shopping at the El Dorado Hills location. Its a shame because this used to be a great store and theyve completely ruined it.
This is a nice place that is very convenient. They have a Starbucks and a CVS inside the store, and they also have self-checkout kiosks if you are in a rush.
Same experience every time, easy to locate items and if youre lucky, youll find a worker who can help you. very little options for groceries, and never new items in that category. slightly expensive, even for Folsom. gets your shopping list done if its simple.

Generally I really like Target, but buyer beware when it comes to their produce. It may look like a little grocery store, but it is not. I was outraged to see that they sell their fruit (at least the apples and bananas) per piece, not per pound. This particular day, the Fuji apples were $1.34 EACH! I think this is taking advantage of their customers, when they could buy the same apples, the same week, at a real grocery store for $.98 per POUND. (And by the way, the Target apple was not a big apple.) Come on, Target, you can do better than this. Charge a more fair and reasonable price per apple, and make it more obvious that the price is per piece, or go to per pound sales.
The remodel of this Target is the most cynical venture Ive ever witnessed. They relocated all the essential items (laundry soap, etc) that they know people come to Target for to the far ends of the store. There is no center aisle to look up and down for your items - instead they want you to meander around their store so that you will have to view all their collections. What was south is now west, what was west is now north, etc. Hello? This is Target. You are not a destination store you are a staples store that lost its way in Folsom. Everyone was complaining (loudly) as I was walking around the store for the twentieth time trying to find dishwasher soap. We all agreed that we will only go to Target El Dorado Hills from now on.
Im sure Im a bit biased because of my LOVE for all things target, but this is a great store! Well stocked, and they keep up with their online find in store stock as well. Ive never had to ask an associate for help, so I cant speak to that, but my cashiers have always been very friendly and give my kids stickers. Parking can sometimes be tight as there is a home goods next door but Ive never had an issue snagging a decent spot.
Clean, plenty of parking, helpful employees. Starbucks inside, good not great Starbucks, plenty of seating. Target shopping carts are what all the other stores should follow, no bad wheels, no or sharp cuts, good size. In the end, it is a Target though done the way its supposed to.

Seemed like a clean and fancy target. However, I had a hard time finding what I went there for. Fitting rooms were full of clothes, the door I used was wonky, and one room was missing a mirror.
Thanks to their complete lack of store policy on checking identification per multiple big transactions my bank account is now more than $3,000 in debt. I understand theft happens, however a simple identification check upon making not 1 but 4 huge transactions would if easily prevent this very frustrating situation. I will never shop at target again.
Great and convenient shopping environment and experience they created with the look of the new layout in their stores although it will take a little time to figure out where they relocated everything.

Cleaner than most target locations. Inventory control on the shelves is terrible; many things in every department in wrong locations, marked as out of stock when they have it in the backroom, or is really out of stock but never ordered because a similar but different thing is completely filling the wrong location. Staff is really nice and outgoing at the front end, but really quiet on the sales floor.

This place is fine, but Im sick of being offered the Target red card. The last time I went the cashier asked me four different times. The first two times I politely decline but after that I just ignored her. Also, the bathroom was really dirty. Just bad staff.
A full-service Target: grocery, optical, pharmacy, and a Starbucks.I wouldnt really rely on the produce unless I was desperate or needed ONE thing for a recipe I was making; a full-fledged grocery store is much better for the fresh stuff and refilling the kitchen. But for quick trips or recipes that rely in boxed, packaged, or frozen goods, Targets a pretty safe bet. I also love that Target has special relationships with certain manufacturers and has products that you can only get there, like specific flavors of Ben and Jerrys and a new line of dairy-free Hagen Daz.The store is always clean, and Ive rarely dealt with out-of-stock issues, which is way more than I can say of other Targets Ive been too. Good dollar section up front and always fashionable clothes to be found. Prices are reasonable, too.Target has also updated their self-checkout machines to be much friendlier and with a less annoying tone when telling you to remove your card from the chip reader.

What the hell happened to this place? I dont love to remodel, but since then the shelves are always empty. Yesterday I went and they didnt have many of the items I always buy there - Zicam, jelly, waffles, mixed nuts and organic bananas. It seems to be an on going problem that isnt getting better but worse. Ugh....
Target offers some good prices and basically every item you can think of. The employees could be a little more courteous towards customers though.
