This place is excellent. I needed a headlight replaced and they did it fast and at half of the estimates I got from so-called affordable mechanics. Bill, the manager told me about their upcoming tire sale when I asked about tires and was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend them for regular maintenance and auto care.

Over the weekend of 10/15/21 My van was broken down 240 miles from home. While waiting for the tow truck to come and pick my van up. I contacted Car X #1014 in Florence KY and spoke with Russell told him my situation he said tow it in and he would work on it first thing Sat morning. Sure enough I walked down to the shop from my hotel Sat morning and the mechanic MIKE, Russell and the store Manager Kyle Monroe were already looking at my van that the had to push into the shop. After running some diagnostic test Mike determined.... I needed a distributor and could have the parts delivered in 20 min.I went back to my hotel room and 1.5 hours later they called and said the van was ready!!!!!!!!!!! I drove from Idaho to Kentucky, to assist my girlfriend in getting her car repaired. She is very low income, and needs her vehicle, since she is all alone with no one to help her. We called around and Car-X said they could get it in immediately and please bring it in. They were quick and professional, and they even gave us a $200.00 coupon. They even took the time to spare 2 people and another car to deliver it to my friends address, which was about 2 miles away! They accepted my out-of-town debit card and the customer service was beyond compare! I would highly, highly recommend this business to everyone!! 5 Star Business!!

Our car died out on the highway. The tow truck driver called this CarX shop and we are so glad the Lord lead us there. They said they could work us in, and took great care of us as we checked in and explained the problem. All the crew- Buddy, Craig and Zach, as well as other mechanics we did not meet, were awesome. Although the fuel pump replacement presented a unique issue (not their fault), after two days they finally achieved success and we knew it was done when we heard cheers from the shop. The other great thing is that they stuck to the price that Buddy quoted us, even though we took up one of their bays for two days.Thank you guys, we made it home to Colorado.

I highly recommend Car-X Florence to everyone! I took my Chevrolet Silverado here to repair its A/C and could not be happier to have my air conditioner back for the summer. The manager, Kyle, was exceptional—hes the real deal! I am confident that my vehicle is in good hands with Kyle and his team and plan to be back for my upcoming oil change.

My engine said it was overheating and they said it was a sensOr. Fixed that. Then the water pump went out. Changed that. And destroyed my motor, they replaced the motor at their expense. They have had my car for over a month now. Said it was fixed. They were driving it back to the shop and the transmission goes out, they flushed the transmission without consulting me. They said they didnt break the transmission, but Im not sure. My transmission was working fine when I left it at their shop. Now they want me to pay for the transmission. Im at a loss of who to trust

Called this location in Florence KY because we had a messed up tire. Find out our rim was messed up. They tried to patch the rim but it wouldnt hold air still. So we opted for our spare tire to get us to the Ark and back to North Carolina. Such honest service and a great experience. If ever in Kentucky again we will surely use this shop if we are in need. Wow is this place great! I had gone to a different quick stop place to get an oil change and they told me the bolts were stripped and I would need to take my car somewhere else that had the tools to get them off. I called CarX and spoke with Kyle (the manager) and he told me to bring it in and they’d take a look. They got my car in right away and let me know that they had no trouble getting the bolts off and confirmed my oil change and the price. I was shocked - it was half the price for the same thing! Kyle was extremely friendly, honest, and professional!! I will never take my car anywhere else after my awesome experience today. Thanks Kyle!!

Trust Lost.What should have been a very passive & proactive repair turned into a nightmare of time loss at work and out of pocket costs of thousands with an inoperable vehicle when My son was proactively attending to a water consumption issue.We as a family, have now lost complete faith in Car-X .After trying to discuss with the corporate office and the local District Manager, we feel disregarded, disrespected, discriminated and taken advantage of by Car X of Florence.Shameful to take advantage of individuals with special needs.

I brought my vehicle in (thinking there might be an issue with the battery), but it turns out there were simply issues with the display. They ran tests on the battery and some diagnostics, but didnt even charge me for the work. They were incredibly courteous and helpful.

My brakes were making the worn out sounds of grinding. I took my vehicle in at 7:30 AM and left it for Car-X to replace my front pads. Craig called me around 9:30 and informed me my brake pads were OK and only half used? I am experiencing some grinding from hot spots on the rotors but nothing major. I picked up my car and they told me NO CHARGE! I am not only thrilled with their honesty and integrity at the store location but also Car-Xs policies. My experience today is something I will remember and also share with my friends on why they should use Car-X!!!

They do a great job working on the car but they have a new payment method where they send you a payment link instead of being able to take payment over the phone. That was a huge disaster! It did not work for us for whatever reason so we could not pick our car up when we wanted to. We had to wait until we could get there in person to make payment before they would release the car to us. The payment link even said we should call the store to make payment online... But they wont take payment over the phone now which is extremely annoying.

Don’t waste your time or money on this place. Went in for leaking coolant, figured it was a hose but come to find out it was a hose plus a water outlet housing which I’d had replaced a year and a half prior with another Car-X location. Fine sometimes things break but they decided to word it differently to make it sound like something else entirely and charge me almost $200 more. Anyways left my car there and picked it up the next day, they said everything should be fine and to bring it back if it’s not. They gave me a 12,000 mile 12 month warranty. Next day I’m driving to work get off the highway and smoke is billowing out of my hood, pull over, pop the hood and sure enough there is coolant on my engine and other hot parts causing smoke. Take it to them after work and they say it just wasn’t cleaned up enough from putting the new hose and parts in, they clean it and send me on my way, still smoking a little bit but I chalked it up as residue. Next day running an errand not even 10 minutes from my house and smoke and lots of it, pop hood and my reservoir is clearly spraying coolant on everything. Call them and they say it’s not their problem and to take it to the closest Car-X to have it repaired. Local Car-X says it will be X amount of dollars to fix. Pretty curious that you’ve had my car for 2 days and something that was not a problem before is now a huge problem. Overnight after driving maybe 25 minutes home, it just cracks. Car-X will never get another dime out of me. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to this shop, they are criminals. If you care about your car don’t waste your time here go somewhere that will be honest and actually do the work correctly the first time.

In my opinion, they took 4 days to complete a service which should have taken 2.5 hours, as stated in their mechanical instruction guide. Little or no communication with the customer - very inconvenient.

They’ve been working on my car when I need it for years now and they don’t disappoint, I really appreciate there efforts and great customer service, and always trying to help out when they can.

Would NOT recommend. Rude customer service. They lied to me about adding air to the tires, I checked them right afterwards and had to do it myself. Made a appointment for just a oil change, I showed up 15 minutes early and waited there, they did take the car back right at the appointment time at 3pm, but was not finished till 4:10pm, over an hour for a simple oil change. Would NOT trust them

But had to get it towed out because they seized up the tie rods. Something they did wrong. So now we have to take them to court. Very shady people. Your car will come out worse then when you brought it to them. Dont take your car here. PERIOD

Had to get 4 tires put on yesterday, all I can say is if u want a trustworthy place to take your car, this is the place, I watched a woman bring in a car to get it inspected before she bought it and within 5 minutes found out their was a blown head gasket. They didn’t even charge her, I saw them treat everyone with respect and honesty. They were slammed and still found a way to get my car in and get it done, love the new tires too, quiet and u can tell they have a great grip on the road. Just wanted you to know how happy and honest I felt this car x was, I took my daughters new, used car in to get a oil change, I knew the oil change was not due yet, but since we had just bought the car and it had been sitting on the car lot for about 4 months, I just wanted it changed, so after we had left he called me to tell me that it’s not needed for an oil change yet, I told him thanks for being so honest with me and not just taking my money. Im always skeptical about garages because of past experiences, but I feel better going here now. These guys were able to help me out immediately without an appointment and offered me a discounted price because of the issue and because Im a veteran. They didnt hit me with any vague statements and were able to point out the issues and explain their plan of repair.Service was great on my van. Replaced my brake pads and rotors quickly and drained the brake lines and ABS system and renewed and tested it all. Van has more control and brakes function as they should.Ill return for more service when its time.

Ran over a nail- and went straight into the side bed of my tire. Called Car X- Manager Kyle, was phenomenal! Quoted the price right away, helped me find the correct tire for my car, that I clearly do not know anything about. I dropped my car off around 10:30am. Kyle ordered the parts, got it delivered to the location and placed tire on my car and complete by 3:30pm. He was so nice and so professional! Had a high mileage oil change for $17 special. I scheduled an appointment. Showed up staff was very friendly and had my car back in the shop and done in no time. By far the best oil change experience Ive ever had!!!!!!

Come to find out driving my car through town was fine but once I got on the highway it wobbled like they never balanced the tire so I go to looking and theres no new weights on my car the back two tires they have pulled the weights off you can see where the paper had just been ripped with a sticky ones I will never go back to the shop for nothing

I called and got a quote on fixing my car, and I was told that it was cheaper here, but I wanted them to fax over their price to another garage, he said he would do it, called them back and was told he didnt have time for all that. How unprofessional, cheap or not that was wrong to so customers that way

Ive recently relocated to the area and tried this location on a whim. I have to say that I have received some of the best automotive service at a more than fair price. Their use of appointments truly helps those of us that have to wait, due to having only one car or not having anyone to pick us up. Showed up on time for my appt. and they pull my car in right away and started working. I would also like to mention their professional customer service, because the staff has to be the most kind and polite mechanics Ive met. Ive been 3 times now for oil and tires, and they are consistent with everything Ive mentioned.

Lately, I have had a rash of tire punctures and appreciate them even more!This morning, I had a low tire, which under the circumstances caused a mild panic. Without stopping to call for an appointment, I got it filled and drove straight to Car-X, hoping it would not deflate on the way.A big thank you to Zack and his team for the exceptional customer service! They were very understanding, and I was able to get in very quickly. My tire was diagnosed and repaired within the hour.It’s great to have the feeling that a company will do everything they can for you when you are having bad luck running over random bits of metal in the road!

Had a nail in my tire, the guys let me come in right away, before the tire went flat. They were very professional and nice. They saved alot of issues. The price was awesome and had me out the door by 30minutes!

Very shady business. After having car serviced I was told heater core was clogged and needed replaced at $1500. After calling sround for 3 more estimates, all around $700 - $800 I took vehicle to another shop. I then found out a flush was never done and heater core was just fine. It was a broken accuator door, $70. Plus i bought 60,000 mile tires that lasted under 30,000. Their excuse was not rotating tires in a rear wheel car. LOL my car is FWD. NEVER TRUST THESE GUYS!

Tony Daniels and the guys are a great group of workers. Had a bad tire sensor and bolt in the tread of the tire and it took no time to fix it. He was very knowledgeable and treated us like family. Will definitely be going back for anything I need done, and referring friends and family !

Always friendly and does not try to rip you off like a lot of these car repair places. Gives good advice to try to save you money. The only complaint I have is when it was cold out one of the mechanics was smoking inside while standing next to my car with the window down. My car smelled like smoke. I notified the manager and he took care of the issue.

Do not ever take your car here! Due to the negligent actions of these Car-X workers my car nearly lost all power in the middle of the highway because of an error on their part. I have asked for a manager to contact me and it has been weeks now and I have heard nothing. After spending 4 hours and nearly $700 at this location I would have expected much better. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I will NEVER recommend this Car-X location to anyone.

A few weeks ago I went in for a brake inspection. Brakes are fine. Kyle (manager) came out and said my left tire rod end was bad and the ball joint was loose. He knows his stuff!!!5/11/19 I went in to get my rotors and brakes replaced Kyle remembered my name without looking it up which I think is great considering all the calls and appts they receive. I work in CS so I know how hard it is to keep names in your mind.Cons: prior repair took longer than expected due to part order delay.No cons for 5/11/19Pros: extremely friendly; helped with payment plan set up.5/11/19 the service was fantastic and fast which even if it wasnt I would have been ok with b/c the type if service is extremely important. I need brakes and rotors to work. 😊😊. Great job!!

This place tried to rip me off for over a thousand dollars on a brake repair 😡 Took my car to the competition across the street from them, didnt say anything about the estimate carx gave me had my brake pads put on for less than 200 dollars. Carx should be ashamed of yourself trying to rip people off.
