The people are very friendly and helpful. They have one manager by the name michael, he was extremely helpful. I couldnt believe the type of knowledge he has and how outgoing he was. Kudos to you autozone, hes a keeper.

Thank You to Michael W. for his efforts and professionalism in checking my battery. He checked the alternator and starter as well. He went above and beyond to even assess the cables to the battery. He took time to educate me on how to keep it clean and to secure it. I appreciate his customer service skills.

Asked lots of questions about my car that I was not able to answer ony own. I had to call the mechanic to get the answers. This is a good thing so they can give you the correct part.

Service always wonderful! Seafoam hardly ever stocked. Decent prices. Fast service. Wide selection of brands to allow price comparison. I prefer Gastrol oil products for my classic car, hardly can keep in stock. Hours are convenient.

Hello, this store had the parts I needed, but the male cashiers took their sweet time to cash you out. I had to ask out loud if they could be our cashier. The service was not very helpful, but they will service you if you talk loudly to one.

I purchased a auto portable battery charger. They only had one type available. Would have preferred more options.

Had check light read here. Their code showed #1 ignition coil bad. Turns out it was actually the #4 & #6 coils were bad instead.

I dont know why there are people that choose to downgrade this location or even the company. They are a tremendous asset to ANY community. The employees here and the manager were great with me and I love them all for it. You may have 2nd thoughts about thus place, but if you just stop by and ask for help, they will do so, if you dont want to be helped or choose to be rude to these employees trying to help them, then go to a different store, but as for myself, AutoZone is the way to go for your automobile needs. Be safe and stay warm.

I went in last month to buy some new windshield wipers. The staff was very helpful, and they gave me a free bottle of wiper fluid as well as installed my new blades for me. Yesterday one of the blades broke while I was driving. I took it into the store and they replaced it free of charge. Excellent customer service.

No help at all. No matter if they helping you they will always stop and assist or answer the phone hold a conversation as if your time dont matter. They need to place the caller on hold like they do me when I call but they will assist the caller while Im waiting to be assist. No stars from me. Taking my business else where.

Poor customer service on 8 mile. I was the first and only customer in the store. Asked if they would put in the light bulb I purchase. He said yes, but its only two people in the store and I would have to come back later. Well just as I was going to make my purchase and come back later another employee came in. So he asked me if I wanted to purchase the bulb grease to prevent shock while installing. Im like of course. Will you put it in now that someone else is here? Then he said hes not familiar with putting in the bulb. 🤦🏾‍♀️ So he asked the manager, he wasnt able either plus the manager added that he wasnt from this store as if that information was necessary.

They carry most things you need to repair or accessorize your car. They have parts for older models and newer models. The staff is very knowledgeable

If youre only looking to make a pick up of supplies off of the Shelf be sure you get it and go straight to the register because if you stand in the line for the counter you may never get out of this place. I dont understand why they cant assign someone to work the register all the time instead of making people have to stand and Q twice when all they need to do is check out. This is one area that they need to give a bit of attention to if they expect to satisfy their customers. I come here when Im in a hurry and know that I have to stand around because they dont care about anyones time. Being on 8 Mile shoot assure you of a fast trip but this spot never. Get some service in here please

Im not an impatient person, but there was only one person in the store and he was busy with some one else. He never asked me if he could help me, never even looked my way. I wanted to simply buy some windshield washer fluid and be out. I asked if he was working alone and he stated yes and continued on. I said nothing else and I left to take my business elsewhere. And I waited for almost a full 10 minutes. So, I took my business elsewhere. Thank you but no thanks.

The experience was nice the person that helped me was knowledgeable and quick to do his duty he serviced my car and everything was fine in the end he also seemed a bit slow in his actions but he was precise and putting on the battery for my car I was thankful and the price I guess was okay.

I needed some brake pads and I wasnt sure what kind to get I went in to AutoZone and the staff helped me so good that I feel like I know so much more about brake pads and I did because they are very very knowledgeable about their job and they take pride in helping people I recommend that anybody who needs Auto Parts come here for their needs because I can assure you that you will not be let down

The guy was helpful and handsome who looked up the part that I needed.

Clean and courteous workers. Even though they didnt have the part I needed, they did find it for me and directed me to another AutoZone in the area, which was great!

Prices are alittle high but they have multiple stores which makes it convenient

No one helped me had to figure it out on my own.

Even though I didnt purchase they were still able to offer information that was helpful in making my decision.

This is my 3rd time visiting the 8mile FERNDALE location, the employees who have a job there on every visit has the worst customer service relations ever, i will never visit this location ever again.Only response i received was, Im not a mechanic, i cant look at your car, the male and female employees just giggled, if you cant tell me what you need i cant help you.

I went in to get windshield wipers, they were busy. The staff, worked well together. The ladies, multi task, mopped, wet floor, pulled my whipers, another customers bulbs, then stepped back behind the counters, to help the next person. Another young lady rang up. Then put my whipers on. Thank you. Excellent customer service.

I like it a whole lot better than Advance or OReillys or AutoZone is good and they honor the warranties

Ordered a power steering pump and they said it would be in by 5:30 PM. Came back at 6:00 PM and they said it wasnt delivered and wouldnt be here until tomorrow morning even though I was assured it would be there by 5:30 so I requested a refund. Got home, took a look at my receipt and realized they didnt refund all of my money. Supremely disorganized AutoZone. I am not coming back.

Completely ridiculous service. Rep wouldn’t help look at the connectors online or thru their system to see if a universal part would work with my car, wouldn’t open packaging neither, told me I would need to search online (as if I hadn’t already) . This was after waiting 10 minutes after initial interaction. I’m so done with Autozone

WORST experience ever at any AutoZone Ive been to. Asked for help & the new guy acted like he was bothered by anything I asked for help with. Asked him could he poss look at my brake light & poss help put in the bulbs zi bought there bc I had to drive an hour away & did not want to get pulled over by the police bc my taillight was out. I was the only customer in the store & he said he would poss put the light in but then when just about to buy the light he then tells me he was not going to put it in. What was the point then of me buying the light then if I cant ger assistance to put it in, and so I dont ger pulled over bc of a taillight out? Ive shopoed at the Taylor, Detroit Woodward, Canton & Belleville stores & never a problem & 2 of them previously put in my bulbs for me with no problem. I was the only customer & he tells me its only 2 of them so he cant do it! Wow. But I had to drive home no taillight & risk of getting pulled over but then went into the Belleville AutoZone bought bulb & they pit in, no problem at all! Sad that bc this is the city people dont want to maintain the same customer service as they do in the suburbs etc... Just sad they let a wiman drive home an hour no tailights & risk for accident or getting pulled over & ticketed. Truly disgusted. I shopped tgis AutoZone before now will not!

Parts are parts and may not make any difference in fixing old bit up cars. What do really matter to me is when purchasing parts in Detroit area when customer service is way below standards I have seen elsewhere. Some people either dont know what parts they are selling or are ignorant to help you pick the right part for your fix. I sure hope this will change!

Poor customer service. I used to shop exclusively at AutoZone. Moved to Oak Park, and gave this place a chance several times. Just terrible customer service. I now go to OReillys on Woodward in Royal Oak.
