This was easily the best experience Ive had with an auto shop, Phil and his team diagnosed the prevalent transmission issue despite me foolishly misdiagnosing it as a fluids problem. They then managed to get the necessary part and complete the repair on top of an oil change and some gnarly tire repair work within just two working days.Im very happy with the experience, my transmission is switching gears correctly and efficiently once more, and Ill definitely be consulting this team if I ever have issues in the future.

Experienced transmission issues on my 2015 Nissan Juke and was recommended to this AAMCO. Ended up needing a new transmission and what was a horrible occurrence was made less painful by Phil and his wonderful team. Excellent customer service, timely repair and they even arranged to return my rental car for me. They took the time to explain everything and nothing ever felt rushed. We took my husbands 2018 Chevy Silverado in because it was over heating. The truck is under warranty but we didnt want to deal with the dealership.. Aamco in Fern Park was highly recommended by friends so we decided to take it there. The service was Great!!! We explained the situation to the gentleman that answered the phone ( I believe his name was Gary) and he was very calm and professional we felt relieved from the stress of the truck problem. He listened to the problems and explained that they would pick the truck up from our house then check it out and let us know by the end of the day. The truck got picked up 30 minutes and we got a phone call from another gentleman named Jake who use also very professional that let us know they got the truck and was going to diagnose and we will get a call back from one of the team members. Well much to our surprise we did get a phone call back by the end of the day from Gary. He explained the issue being the water pump,etc. He told us the approximate price and we were able to give permission to proceed with the work. he said the truck would be ready before 5:00 the very next day!!! Of course we said Yes Do It !! Sure enough we got a phone at 3:00 saying our truck is ready for pick up. We picked it up and not only was it fixed but they Washed it!!!! and it was very dirty from my husbands work. We are beyond happy with the quick service and the the truck runs great!!!! On top of everything else we got a phone call from the main bossman named Phil two days later to make sure the truck ran great and we were happy with the service. Then one week later we got a thank you card in the mail.. Highly recommend this Aamco..The service is quick and efficient and prices are great. Also the staff is all very good looking!!!

These guys are the best example of awesome customer service I have seen in years. I had my car towed there after a transmission failure. Not only did they help diagnose the problem, they helped me figure out that it might still be under manufacturer warrantee. They were able to point me in the correct direction to save me money at the cost of their own pockets! They took the time to figure out what was best for me and not just for their business. This was the fourth shop I had to visit to get a resolution to my issue. After it being suggested that I would need a transmission rebuild for 3800$ The owner Phil informed me I had a transmission leak from a bad hose. The leak was apparently undetected due to the skid plate absorbing the fluid. He diagnosed the issue and sent pictures explaining everything. I was fortunate to save over 3k. I moved to Orlando 4 years ago and have not had a consistent mechanic. Even though I live on the other side of the city I will be using Phil and his team for all my automotive needs going forward! This place felt like walking into a Chick-fil-a for your vehicle needs, the prices were great and they gave me confidence in knowing that they really knew what they were doing - you really cant put a price on ease of mind. The professionals at this location were extremely friendly and above that, super knowledgeable. My husband brought our vehicles to Phil @ Cottman’s for years. We bought a new vehicle in 2014, shortly before my husband passed away, that came with specific warrantees and service provider so it’s been a few years since I’ve seen Phil.Now that my warrantee has expired and I needed tires I came back to Phil at AAMCO. It felt like coming home to family.....Phil, Jake & Gary made me feel like I had never been gone!!I needed new tires and in the course of that work they discovered my brakes needed work. I can’t explain how awesome this shop is. I thought I was having transmission trouble and Mark checked my SUV out and determined there was no problem at all. They could’ve taken advantage of me and I would’ve never known, but they did not. And they didn’t even charge me. I’m always going to them when I have a car issue.

My truck broke down yesterday on the way to a job site, and I needed it fixed asap. I explained I just started a new job and needed it to get to work tomorrow (I have a very long commute). These guys had my truck fixed and running better than ever by the end of the day (they also had to deal with my impatience and were very helpful and understanding). They really saved me a big headache, and now I don’t have to be that new guy that is calling in to work already. I definitely recommend them and will be going back!

I am absolutely astonished at how great this team is. Like many of you, my car needed repairing and stress was prevalent in the matter. I saw the great reviews and decided to take my car to this location. Mark, Michelle and Kip(Im not certain of the correct spelling) were very patient and professional with me. They gave me honest advice about my car and were open to my questions. The mechanics replaced my transmission quick and efficiently. My baby is driving as if its brand new. I will not take my cars to any other location unless I absolutely have to. What a blessing it has been to meet them.

What a great place! Super caring Service Manager Mark Lewis, worked TIRELESSLLY with us to get our reluctant Warranty company to approve our transmission repairs. They had to put our vehicle on the rack and open it up for inspection and then the warranty company drug their feet for 5 additional days before approval, so they had to put it back together and move out of shop. They did not charge us for this additional time, and did not hesitate to keep working with our lousy warranty company even though it ate up a lot of time. I highly recommend this honest hard working shop!! I dont recommend Extended warranty through Autopom.

These positive reviews about this place are 100% accurate. We had a transmission fluid leak on a 19-year old car and so we were facing a potentially expensive job for a car not worth that much. Mark Lewis spent a good 20 minutes with us explaining what was causing the leak and helped us work out whether or not it would be wise to get repairs done. I felt no pressure at all from him (very rare for me in an auto shop) and in fact he advised us against doing major repairs. He also explained why a previous mechanic probably missed a chance to fix the issue while working on some engine repairs for us. As it turned out, our mechanics work was still under warranty, so we may get a happy ending, and AAMCO wont have taken a penny of our money. They did not charge us even for the diagnosis of the issue. I was very impressed with this shop and Mark in particular.

Mark and his team at this AAMCO location are absolutely amazing and I wish that I could give them many more than just 5 stars. I truly feel very fortunate to have found Mark and this AAMCO location last week when the transmission in our car completely broke. We are from the Miami area and were driving up to the Orlando area to begin training for a new job and this was the last thing that we needed. Mark was extremely helpful and found the best possible and amazing solution for our situation. I wish that all mechanics were like Mark and his team because they are most trustworthy mechanics that we have met here since moving to Florida. I was having a problem with the transmission on my 911 and Kip was recommended highly. I called Kip and discussed the problem that I was having. He gave me a verbal diagnosis. Towed the car to his shop. He is one of the most honest person I have come across in a long time. They went above and beyond to repair my precious car. I recommend Kip and his staff highly.

Mark and his staff are not only honest and very personable, the quality of work performed is outstanding! They have rebuilt a transmission for my Mazda 3 two years ago, and weve been bringing our other vehicles to them for anything from oil changes to suspension work. After being quoted almost double for suspension, struts and brakes for the Mazda, we brought it to Mark and he literally cut that price in half. The other guys also told me the car needed other expensive repairs, which after being inspected by Mark and his staff, was not necessary and they were just trying to jack the price up. I cannot recommend the Longwood AAMCO Transmission enough! If youre looking for peace of mind when it comes to your vehicle repairs, go see Mark!

Kip and Mark were absolutely amazing. My husbands 2006 Honda Odyssey suddenly stopped working and my 2007 Corolla was making strange noises on the left side. We had just returned from a vacation so everything happened all at once. This morning when my husbands car wouldnt start, my husband called Mark while I was on the phone with AAA. Mark answered even though it was before the shop was supposed to open and advised us to bring it in and hell take a look at it asap. We towed it and by the lunch time, as Kip and Mark promised, the car was fixed. It was not a cheap fix but totally worth it. My car was the next and they found my new shock absorbers were loose. They said they tightened it and said no charge since it was such a quick fix. They didnt have to do that but we appreciated their generosity. We now know where to bring our cars from now on.

TALKED TO KIP AND HE WAS THE BEST AND VERY HONEST!WE GOT STRAIGHT TO THE PROBLEM WITHOUT ALL THE EXTRA OTHER REPAIRS DEALORSHIP AND SHOPS SAID WERE NEEDED TO BE DONE. MY CAR HAS BEEN GREAT EVER SINCE.AND I WILL GO BACK IF NEEDED AND DO RECOMMEND COMING HERE IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF!!!

Kip, Mark and Michelle run a first rate shop! I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years because they are loyal to me. Repairs are done professionally and if I need a ride to work, they drop me off and call me when things are done. They have been trustworthy and you cannot put a price on the peace of mind you get when you are in their hands.

I brought my car in because it was revving up high And I thought my transmission was on its last leg. So I took a chance to take it to a transmission place that I had never been to. Boy did I make a great decision! After the mechanic looked at it, I was told the transmission was fine! Imagine that!! A transmission repair shop telling a stranger that their transmission was fine! Not only that but he kept the car and went through everything and found my problem. A few hundred dollars later (not thousand) and my car is as good as new!! Mark the manager was great! They are honest and thorough. They have a new loyal customer for all my car repairs!!!

Mark was so great to work with! He saved me half of what another repair shop was going to charge. They also found some other small things that needed fixed and did it at no additional charge. Great customer service, will definitely return for any/all repairs on all our vehicles. You can trust this repair shop. I dont normally write reviews, but just had to pass this along.

I finally found mechanics that stand behind their work and keep their word. They went above and beyond when I had my transmission replaced. I had a defective part after the fact and they were very quick to fix it - even though my warranty had expired. I live across town but went there because they were highly recommended. I will keep taking my truck there for service. Refreshing to find an honest and stand up business.

**PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE GOING HERE** Probably the worst place you can go to for any tire help or alignment help.. very sad we went in to get an alignment for 40 dollars like we agreed on the phone after having my car on the lift for an hour and nothing happening I checked what was going on and they couldn’t get the bolt off for an hour. When I had got my car aligned probably about 6 months earlier. And then they tried to charge me 60 for the time and inconvenience that they couldn’t get the bolt off when the alignment was only 40 just a bunch of young kids working no manager after refusing to pay the 60 they wouldn’t take my car off the left. Please do not go here go to discount tire or tire kingdom or even pep boys. Can’t believe a business runs this way it’s very sad .

Ive had my Chevy Equinox for 9 years and have trusted them with repairs for nearly 8. 230K so far and I havent really needed a lot of repair on the car --> I credit Mark, Kip and their team with that... theyve often caught things before they become an issue and offer and treat my car as if its their own.
