Great place!! I worked nearby for 6 years and went frequently. Very friendly baristas and coffee was always good. Changed jobs and haven’t been in as often in the past year. So happy that when I do make it by I see the same baristas and regular customers, and the coffee is still as good as ever.

Stopped by here while passing through town. Nice folks. Relaxing location. And absolutely the best Latte I’ve ever been introduced to. The roast is called “night train” and is apparently brewed locally. The barista did an amazing job.It was so good we thought about turning around for seconds. Instead, we called them up and ordered five sacks of beans.

We were in Fayetteville to visit our son when we had decided to go sit at a coffee house to get me ready for the drive back to Harrison, and let our five kids visit some more. On the way after finding this place on google our serpentine belt shredded. Luckily we had an extra that came with the van so while my husband tried to replace it after calling roadside the five kids and I sat inside. At first I was a bit worried because it is a coffee house and my five ages (14, 10, 10, 9 & 4) usually are not the quietest of children. From the start though the young gentleman working was wonderful. I had ordered a Mocha and a hot chocolate for all the kids to share. Naturally my eldest daughter didnt want a hot chocolate and expressed it outloud. The gentleman made a huge deal about how his was the best and let her and her sister watch him made it. Granted my kids know how a small espresso machine works but it is always so much cooler when someone else does it. She was enthralled in watching and he handed to her to drink. She loved it. We ended up having to sit there for over an hour and thankfully we have a travel chess and bingo game with coloring supplies. While my husband and I were dealing with the roadside and working on the van the kids sat in a lovely area and occupied themselves. At one point I came back in from outside and found that three of the kids were up at the counter. I found out that my daughter had asked the employee a question about sizes of cups and some of the science behind the counter. He was so wonderful at engaging the kids and conversing with them. He really helped with moms nerves because I was worried they were brothering him and the other customers but everyone reassured me they were being quite and respectful. This place was just going to be a quick stop that in the end being a favorite in Fayetteville for the 7 of us. The atmosphere is a coffee house but with a few activities the calming environment really rubbed off on the kids. You guys have a GREAT employee behind the counter that really is knowledgeable and wonderful with adults and children. We were there on Sunday the 27th of November and I really wish for the life of me I can remember the gentlemans name because he made sure to get the kids names before we packed up and got on the road.

First time trying this local coffee shop. Atmosphere is quiet and easy to relax. They have wonderful art work all around the wall. Im trying their créme brûlée latte and its pretty good. If youre looking for a place with great coffee try Red Kite. Great coffee with Local coffee without that overpriced Starbucks price.

When it was known as Onyx I always had the best experience and the coffee flavor and prep was always consistent. Several times since change in ownership the coffee has tasted burnt. Twice now I have gone in the evening times to be told that they are closing in 10-15 minutes when google still says it’s open for two more hours. It’s unfortunate because I love the atmosphere but I’ll start driving to another location if needed.

Red Kite is a one-of-a-kind, local coffee house. The atmosphere is generally quiet and conducive to work and study. There is also conversation seating. There is even a book nook with a reading material exchange. They have a good menu of drinks, including the Myan mocha, which is one of my favorites. Also available is a variety of snack and breakfast items including single serving quiche. They have a cash reward system for cash paying patrons.Local art decorates the walls and changes from time to time. All in all, a very nice spot to chill out.

This is definitely one of the more interesting coffee shops Ive ever been to, as far as environment goes. I love the open floorplan, natural light, different seating options, and colors that make it feel vaguely like a retro diner. The Barista (though very, very busy) was friendly and patient, and my iced latte was one of the best Ive ever had. Not entirely sure what made it so, but it tasted like they use good quality whole milk (which is really nice.)Ill definitely be going back to try their coffee bar. It looked like they serve 3-4 different Onyx blends on their drip bar at one time, so thats super cool.

I stop by here about every two weeks to pick up whole bean coffee. They serve Onyx Coffee Lab coffee, which is the best Ive found in the area. While you might hit a great barista that knows what theyre doing and get a perfectly microfoamed latte that is the correct temperature, more often you end up with a too hot to drink latte (which means something is off temperature wise, as we know lattes arent supposed to go past a certain temperature), overfoamed. The syrups are mostly cheap Torani and the drip coffee has been burnt tasting both times Ive tried. The brownie, while from a good bakery shop, tasted like food that had been in a fridge too long. Ive made a dozen trips before writing this review because I really wanted to like this shop, as there are no other good coffee shops in that area. I would visit only if in extreme desperation if I wasnt going anywhere else in Fayetteville (where you can find several good coffee shops), or if you want one of their coffee shakes (its coffee, ice cream base and ice) which they do well.

I went to use the WiFi at this coffee shop as I do not have Internet at home and some things just need to be done on a computer.Anyway, I went in, around noon, it was not busy. There were 3 women working and I ordered my drink and went and set up my laptop and got busy. 15 minutes went by and I was curious about my drink and I look up and all 3 women are messing around and talking and my drink was just sitting on the counter, ice melting away. I went up to get my drink and was totally ignored by said 3 women.I could understand if they were swamped and it was a busy time but it wasnt.

I was really excited to find this coffee shop since most of the Fayetteville coffee shops are a good drive away from our house. I’ve been multiple times and have enjoyed it. I am really allergic to dairy and always order alternative milks. Yesterday was no different. I ordered my usual and I know the baristas recognized me. I sat down and heard them talking. One said, “does she get this for a reason?” I don’t know if they were talking about me since others were in the store too, but it seemed like it. I got my drink and it was delicious. Like, more delicious than usual. I order my drinks with oat milk because it’s actually creamy and dairy-like unlike soy and almond. I haven’t had cow milk since February, so I honestly don’t remember the exact taste and didn’t realize this wasn’t oat milk. Not even 10 minutes into my drink, I got really, really sick. I’ve now been sick for over 24 hours and I know it couldn’t have been anything else because I haven’t had any kind of dairy in the past few days. I had two networking meetings yesterday that I could not cancel, so I had to deal with my allergic reactions through all of that. The whole time I was there, the baristas were distracted and having fun with a friend who had visited them. My husband was a barista in the past and is furious that they weren’t more careful. Not everyone who orders alternative milk does it because they want to lose weight or something. Some people truly cannot have it and it is so important not to mess up their order.I am forgiving, but I cannot risk getting sick like that so I will not be back again.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Fayetteville. They have a huge selection of latte flavors and teas! Its always nice and quiet so studying is easy. The baristas are always quick to start up a conversation with you, especially Braden. They have amazing decor, because they always feature art from real local artists. They feature coffee from other local shops, so it feels really inclusive, if you want to try your favorite onyx blend. They stay open until 9pm every day, which is great for those of us with a busy schedule. theyre located right where the old Arsagas used to be, so itll bring back the right feelings going in. I really cant say enough about this place, 5 stars.
