When I brought my car in unannounced for a repair, Matt was super nice, very knowledgeable and friendly. He was very helpful explaining the issue to me. Jason did the work and he really knew what he was doing. He was skilled and efficient and got my vehicle fixed in no time. While I was waiting, a nice gentleman named Nelson helped me with some in store purchases. He certainly kept a clean store. What a nice experience for my first visit. I will be a lifelong customer!!

Unfortunately, they were delayed so I got a call needing to cancel, with assurances that they would arrive within 2 days. I got a call from Brandon 2 days later that they were in and could be installed that day. The shop performed the tire install and alignment in record time. VIP was the recommended installer for tires I ordered from tire rack. I had never been there before but gave them a try. Service was fast and friendly. All 4 tires and an alignment in about an hour. Their prices are reasonable. They informed me that my brakes were worn and would need replacing soon but they werent pushy trying to sell me more service. The manager, Zach talked with me for a few minutes and explained that they do everything from oil changes to complete engine overhauls. He seemed knowledgeable and involved in all of the shop operations. Overall a good experience. Im going to try them for regular maintenance.

Friendly staff, and easy to get an appointment. The wait time has been short, and I am always consulted before anything is done to my car. I ask a lot of questions, and dont have much car knowledge, so I really appreciate their willingness to repeat themselves, or try to put something in laymans terms for me. I would give five stars, except the public bathroom is not the most accessible. You have to go through employee areas, which is slightly awkward, but people were nice about pointing the way. So, four stars it is.

I received excellent service from vip. I called to get an appointment in the morning and got in a few hours later and was done in under an hour. I was appreciative because my sticker was expired 😲. Also a nice young man gave me advice on sanding rust off my truck. Everyone was curtious and helpful. Diesel the Labrador is also very nice!

So I recently noticed problems with my power in my gmc sierra, and the battery light came on. Going into vip. I dealt with a professional staff inside the garage from the mechanics working that day, explaining I needed a battery and altinator. I also want to share the staff from in the store at the service desk do an amazing job with their jobs. . This week, I decided to do a sticker check for issues, and gosh darn, Im needing to essentially replace everything. Ball joints, tie rods, wheel seals, breaks, rotors, fuel filter, air filter, and some other issue the staff at VIP wilton brought to my attention. Want to thank Matt for his excellent service, as well as the rest of the staff in and out of the garage for showing me the issues, andyaking the time to answer all my questions without making me feel as though air was a burden. I chose this location, and drove from Lewiston, because I feel as though the staff are trustworthy, and do excellent work to vehicles I need work on, and dont try and play games or cheat you. J ones, professional, and fast. So I had originally brought in my car to be looked over and there was some oversights in inspection however after reaching out to try and correct this mistake this VIP went above and beyond to make sure everything was fixed and apologized! Even though I was a little rude about the matter, they remained professional and made feel like they honestly cared about my experience here. Humans make errors and it’s how they handle these errors that really shows true colors and they were absolutely amazing. One of the biggest fears of auto work is that you never know how reliable the job was and its wonderful to see that if the job wasn’t 100% they’ll correct it. Would definitely bring my car back for any work that needed done!

Had my truck for 3 days charged me $600 and didnt fix the truck.... also put in parts it didnt need and charged me for it. Never called me once in the 3 days, when I called the 3rd day I was told to have it towed away, (update), after another garage had my truck for two hours found out it was simply a bad ground wire. I was told by vip they checked the wires to the ignition system and said they had a certified master mechanic and assured me I was in good hands. DO NOT GO TO VIP they will legally rob you.

I called VIP the day of and was able to make an appointment for an hour later to have my tires swapped over. The process was very quick and went very smoothly! I would highly recommend!

You guys are rip off artists who dont take responsibility for your own mistakes. You frequently tell people a part is broken or damaged without even looking at it in order to steal money from people that dont have mechanical knowledge.

I went there for an inspection on my daughter’s vehicle. After checking in with the service manager, I was happy to have the vehicle up on a lift for the inspection. I knew it needed tires so I talked to the manager who looked at several options and discussed each option with me. I selected the best choice. They had them installed and I was on my way. I brought my car in for shock replacement which took under three hours to complete including an alignment and the shop charged me over $400. When I first inquired about labor costs I was told “up to $300 depending on time”. When I picked up the car the job wasn’t done well and I was told I’d have to come back. I tried to speak with them about the excessive charge but they didn’t think it was unreasonable to charge that much and they charge what the book says. I will not trust them again.

Went for a state inspection. Now I get when something is broken we fail it but when the master tech doesn’t give full answers as to what’s wrong that’s a problem we have had 3 bad experiences with VIP in 3 different towns in a year. I think I’m done with VIP I can get tires cheaper and work done less expensive with better service. I guess you shouldn’t pay for convenience. Don’t use them if you value your money

My parents and I have always had great service through the Farmington VIP! They get everything done for our cars for a reasonable price and in a timely manner. I’ve gone here since high school and I’ve never been disappointed.

Amazing service. The employees were all very friendly and so helpful. Robert was the sales person that helped me he was very pleasant and nice that he joked around with me. The employees noticed I needed new windshield wipers and after I said ok they put new ones on and they were a great price. Definitely will go back to farmington VIP again.

I had a flat tire while at the Farmington hospital. After getting the car to VIP I was sold a new tire, installed, at an excellent price. I have only taken my vehicles to one other place and was not satisfied with prices or attitude. I have never had this problem at this location and I wont take my car for service anywhere else. Had my summer tires put on at VIP today and was very impressed with the whole operation. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the waiting room was clean and comfortable. Furthermore, the price was very reasonable (a little over $60 for mounting and balancing). My wife always says she likes using VIP, and now I see why! Ill be using them again in the future.

I couldnt get in with my regular mechanic and was long overdue for an oil change so I decided to see how quickly I could get in at VIP. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they got me in. Nick was great and when doing the routine check of things discovered that mice had been building a nest in my air cleaner so I got a new air filter while I was there. He also asked if Id like the alignment checked which in the recent past had some repairs made that required an alignment so I said for him to go ahead. He discovered that it was out of alignment but he was able to do the alignment right then and said it was guaranteed for 90 days which with Maine roads sounds like a good deal to me..

This vip was nothing but helpful. All the employees working the day I had my oil changed were polite and professional.

What a competent group of mechanics I always find at the VIP in Farmington, ME. I purchase tires and also have my car serviced there. Recently I scheduled an oil change ( ‘cause my car told me to on my dashboard screen), but had also been noticing an odd difference in what I thought was brake related ( the car didn’t mention anything on my dash). Being a senior and a female I was concerned that I might be just imagining this difference. Anyway...I chose to mention it. Not only were they willing to look at the issue, but Zac took me out to the workshop area and showed me both rear brakes and pointed out how different the metal configurations were between the two (one being just fine... the other not so good) They were also able to do the repair at the time (a big item as i have a longish drive home and winter roads to boot). I was glad that I hadn’t wasted anyone’s time with a “non-issue”, but I believe, even if it had been nothing, that they would still have been happy to check out my concern ‘cause... they care...thanks much

I recently purchased four new tires through VIP. They were highly accommodating with helping me find a great tire brand as well as promotions for tire coupons. I would definitely purchase tires through VIP again.

I am a regular customer at the Farmington VIP and have just purchased another set of tires for winter. As usual I was greeted by a polite and friendly service manager. He helped me select the correct size tires for my vehicle and immediately gave me an estimate which I accepted. My vehicle was then fitted with new tires, my summer tires were bagged and placed in the back. The alignment was checked then I received my paperwork and while paying my bill had a friendly talk with the the manager. Who could ask for anything more!

My tires came in within a day and they had my appointment within 3 days of ordering my new tires. Most affordable, outstanding customer service- had my tires changed, an alignment, and the guys even helped to put my windshield wipers on! These guys are awesome, efficient, and an all around enjoyable experience.

Bought my summer and winter tires at VIP earlier this year.Had an oil change as well as inspection (I had supposedly had my car inspected at a local garage but the mechanic neglected to put the updated sticker on my car - VIP kindly reminded me that my inspection sticker had expired and took care of it on the spot). Turned out I also needed my front brake rotors replaced and despite being busy, the service mngr was able to squeeze me in.Although, the bill was quite abit larger then expected, I found myself happily turning over my cc because of the service that went above and beyond. Not often seen these days and left me more than pleased. There were two gentlemen at the service desk. I own a VW Routan that had a carfax reported accident before I owned it.... it’s been a great car, but has stumped many many mechanics over the last few years when it comes to the strange symptoms and noises it’s made.... VIP Farmington has been fantastic, always getting to the root of the problem, and just today saved me from complete engine replacement by catching a severely damaged flywheel that other mechanics had overlooked. I’m always impressed by Zachary Koufodontis and the crew, thanks guys!

Horrible customer service, I had a 12:00 alignment appointment and showed up at 11:55 to be completely ignored by Tony who came into the store from the garage and the phone began to ring, he stated just a minute as he answered the phone. Then after he hung up from the call instead of tending to the customer who was standing in front of him (me) he went onto the computer (for parts look up I assume), the phone rang again and he chose to answer that instead of tending the customer. At which point I had had enough and left. I called them after getting home and they hung up on me before even speaking with me (caller id), I then called with *67 which blocks the caller id and was immediately answered, I asked to speak with the manager ( Zack, whom I was informed was not available) and stated I wanted to speak with someone in charge. He (Tony) proceeded to speak over me and inform me he was in charge. Horrible experience, I suggest that you go anywhere else but VIP.Update: Kurt from VIP called and apologized for Tonys actions and offered to rectify the situation. Zack (and his crew) was working when I returned Tuesday, the difference was a matter of thier excellent customer service! Thank you Kurt, Zack and crew for great service, you folks and your excellent attitude are what keep people coming back! The only reason I did not give VIP in Farmington 5 stars was Tonys horrible attitude.

I showed up at 7:15am (store opens at 7:30am) and they were already open. I had called for an appointment the previous day - and they got me in the next day. Always excellent customer service at this location with very knowledgeable staff. The Multipoint Vehicle Inspection they do is very thorough and they give accurate, written estimates if anything needs to be done over and beyond what I went in for. Fair, honest and reasonable prices with excellent staff!

I am a UMF student who moved to Maine from central MA, moving to a new state can be stressful in many aspects. After living here for a handful of months I realized I needed an oil change and that I had no knowledge as to where the best shop would be. Typically I would try to plan oil changes around when I went home to visit family because I had only ever been one shop back home. But I knew there was no way I could make it 300 miles home without first changing my oil. I asked around and a couple of friends pointed me towards VIP. When I called to make an appointment the gentleman on the phone was kind and courteous l and he was able to fit the appointment into my busy college schedule. The service I was provided with, I felt, was optimal. Not only were the mechanics quick and diligent, but they also were able to bring to my attention a problem within my vehicle that if otherwise not replaced could have been very damaging. I have since brought my car back to be serviced through VIP a handful of times, each and every time I feel as though I am receiving top notch service provided to me by hardworking and respectful individuals.
