Great experience, staff was very knowledgeable. I took in an older Jeep with a manual transmission for a trans rebuild and clutch replacement. After the repair the car shifts like the day it rolled off the line. I would definitely use them again.

J.R. and his team did an exceptional job in helping us!!My 16 yr. old daughter is here in Michigan from Florida for the summer. Just before making the nearly 1100 mile drive, I had her take her 08 Jeep Wrangler to a shop in the Jacksonville, Fl area that a reputable friend recommended for transmission fluid and filter change & differential servicing - that referral, in the end was no good. Shop left her vehicle with a bad transmission pan leak and front and rear differentials over and under serviced respectively.J.R. and his team took the time to show us and explain what they did to correct the issue and why it was apparent the previous shop didnt do what the job correctly.Fair pricing and excellent customer service!! Although I was quoted a price I couldn’t afford, I wasn’t charged to have my vehicle checked out. The owner was very nice and up front. Everyone treated me well on a hot summer day.

I have to give a shout out to Mike (owner), JR, Manny (sp?), and the mechanics who have worked on my car. Mike inherited a problem I had from the prior ownership and he took care of everything, because thats the kind of guy he is. Ive been back for a couple new issues as well. There not just some run of the mill employees they have their knowledge of cars and how to keep them in working order. They may do extensive checks on your vehicle and care about the customer safety and will work with you on the budget process for your repairs

I have been following J.R. and A.1. since Ive been a poor college man in Ypsi. Now, Im in Wixom and willing to drive as far as it takes in order to have him and his team fix my truck.

These guys were amazing! Hass and Ray did a fantastic job. My car had died and I needed an alternator replaced. I had my vehicle towed to their Farmington location that morning and by the afternoon my vehicle was done. They have great pricing and will work with you. I love the fact they didnt try to up sell me or tell me a million things were wrong and needed to be corrected. Hass even walked me under the vehicle to show the steps he was completing. Its nice when you can go to an auto shop and the guys dont treat you like some girl that doesnt know anything. They both were very respectful. Hass even cleaned under the hood for me. My vehicle runs like its new and looks good too now. I HIGHLY recommend A1 and will return should I have any future issues.
