Great location with a nice wine and cheese section.Love the Cherry Blossom cake designs in the bakery section. There’s a deli and a few different mini restaurants inside- seafood, sushi, ramen bowls. You can take pizza to go or something from the buffet. There’s also a Whole Foods sports bar attached to the side of the store with indoor and outdoor seating where you can grab a beer or wings.

Best seafood lunch or dinner platters anywhere for the price. Absolutely fantastic choice of items

The staff, as always, was helpful and friendly. Ive noticed that since Whole Foods has come under Amazon, its not as good as it used to be. Theyve done away with the coffee bars st both Fairfax and Vienna. Especially sad was closing the one in Vienna, where wine and beers were sold. It served as a nice gathering place for members of the community. Theres now only one or two choices of vegan scones and other vegan option fresh pastries. Less choices of fresh bread as well. Overall, less variety.

Whole Foods is a really great place to shop for your natural/organic groceries. They offer a large variety of items, not found in some of their competitors stores. If you like prepared food options, this is also a good place to go. Their hot and cold food bar options offer a large variety of items, while also being very tasty. This location also has a bar/restaurant that is a fun spot to dine and watch sports. Their wings are definitely good and worth a trip to try. The beer options are pretty good as well, if in the area take a stop in and check it out.

Very impressive. Everything you need is there. It’s massive in size. Their customer service is top class. They also have a small eat in area, both inside and outside the store.

Went there to eat salmon and was so hungry and forgot to snap a photo. It was um um good. I have been goi g there since 2012 and the prices was incredibly low now the prices has increase so much will be cooking at home.

THIS is an impressive Whole Foods. It’s huge (which means it’s got everything), has an oyster bar to relax and enjoy food like in a restaurant, and the cashiers are friendly and efficient.

This is my local Whole Foods and I always have a good experience coming here. We got a birthday cake and they gave us the wrong flavor we asked for. We took it to customer service the next they and she refunded us without any questions. Even insisted we get another one. It’s always so clean. And friendly staff. Super duper busy though !

The customer service is great. They have a good variety of products with a few local options. The product quality is also pretty good. The bakery section is great and the cakes are much better quality than other stores, but the quality seems to be going down. The prices area higher than most grocery stores though.

Whole foods has a great selection of fresh foods at good prices. However their package foods including package juices and drinks are way overpriced, hence the three stars.

This is one of the biggest Whole foods in the area so they are able to carry a lot of products. The produce is very fresh and well laid out. There is a large selection of vitamins, supplements, and natural or organic health and beauty items. They had everything I needed. The employees were friendly and helpful.

Best place for Amazon returns! No line, fast/easy, and the people are very friendly! I love to shop there too for certain items as well but a little bit over priced.

Always good to shop at whole foods. A lot of the prices have come down since Amazon is taking over so its not quite as expensive.

I love this place beacause it as lovely food

I see that after amazons takeover of WFM it clearly became an ordinary supermarket chain with conglomerate hungry for money & high sales spirit ! It lost its character & charm and few special accommodations have been cut out, like coffee bar & burger bar. Another example of the hunger for sales, the Greed & non Sharp view on quality & style of Amazons CEO is the hot food bar, which became always stale in taste & has this piercing salty taste ! I am a chef and i can easily tell that the the dishes in the hot food bar consist of conventional/frozen veggies/ingredients yet charged hefty at $8.99 per pound ! Now i feel less classy whenever i find myself entering any WFM market !I gotta be thankful to GOD/goodness that There is Costco, Trader Joes, LIDL and Some exquisite Food Co-OPs around 🙏 PARTING WAYS with WfM as i feel it is now irrationality inducing & social/economical standard lowering.

HAND DOWN one of my favorite whole foods stores. Love the variety a dive the bistro prepared dinners...not happy about the price increases for the Meals though...esp. with the aftermath of Clovis decrease in income for many...

Clean, well maintained and many options. However, it was too crowded at the check out lanes.

This is the best Whole Foods in the area. Its enormous, recently remodeled, and has an indoor sports bar which has recently reopened with social distancing. Selections are good and staff are consistently knowledgeable and friendly. HOWEVER. They have also reopened their self-service hot food bar, which had been employee-serve until recently, and I dont think thats a good idea during the pandemic. Other measures are good, though. Masks are required, carts are sanitized, and theres a limit to the number of customers in the store- expect a line to get in on weekends.

Great products. Crazy expensive at times. High quality sushi for a grocer. Everything is organic, even the air. I love the 12 days of cheese. Such fun. Nice selection of wines and cold brewed coffee. Large selection of quality pharma OTC.

I have recently ordered a customized birthday cake, the lady who helped me is Fiker, she worked with me on the design of the cake and also showed me examples ...she is really talented ...highly recommend

Moved to the area in September, certain sections have been curtained off since Ive been here. Some items are in a constant state of low stock/no stock, when other markets in the area seem to be able to get a steady supply. Just tried their home delivery, driver arrived outside of the delivery window and I didnt even get a notification that the delivery was on the way until after the driver had left.

My go-to Whole Foods in NoVA! Peking Duck carved every Sat and Sun from 11:00 AM till supplies last, organic and conventional produce, local poultry and dairy. Amazing international brunch.

Came from Fredericksburg to see what all the hype was about.The store definately needed some tlc, I was messy. The bathrooms needed some attention as well, and they were very small. We decided to order pizza for dinner, to go. The lady behind the pizza counter was very rude. Her greeting was, what do you want?! She seemed very upset that we were there. Overall we didnt feel welcomed at all so were never going back and definately telling my friends and family that this is not the place to grocery shop!They might want to visit Wegmans in Fredericksburg to learn about excellence in customer service !Sincerely,Chef Flavia

The store looks deceptively large from the outside. The parking lot is almost always full. Ive never interacted with the staff so I dont know how customer service is. I find the aisles difficult to navigate as the shelves are very tall and many aisles do not have signage. The whole experience in this store is very anxiety inducing because of this. I advise those with claustrophobia or agoraphobia to go elsewhere.I do like some of the bakery items here though. I understand why some people come here for the prepared food at the food bars, as it is convenient and fresh. But as far as groceries go, its not worth the hassle to me.

Appreciate the manager who came to cashier line 10 at around 3 pm today. He helped me acquire the Prime discount on the featured cooked meal special. He was very helpful and modeled patience and professionalism for the rude cashier with a dismissive attitude.

This Fairlakes store has quickly gone downhill - after the remodeling. Fresh breads, tortillas, bagels are not available anymore or very limited in quantity for some reason and only frozen is available - which is very suspicious as to the freshness. The employees are indifferent at best - just shrugging and saying sold out. In general the quality has gone way down. I dont think breads are made at the location fresh anymore. Not sure if the organic labeled items are truly organic either. Maybe the Amazon acquisition was also a factor. Remodeling this store was the Worst decision made! I will be limiting my visits to this store and take my business elsewhere.

I remember when this location opened for Whole Foods it was a big deal! However the store does look run down and with kovind restrictions in place looks very sparse . Always inconvenient the bathrooms are on the 2nd floor the sports bar with something but the bathrooms were not available. I did find the products I was looking for however but was incorrectly charged when I checked out The help at store was very pleasant and gave me good service. The original set up the stores change them become more cleaner and much more shoppable. Do not shop here often however probably the best place to buy clean an organic product

A glimmer of what it used to be, this flagship store was a jewel and always a fun experience, now that Bezos has his grip on it, its nothing more than a glorified wegmans. Less than a third of the cheese & charcuterie, fish wrapped in plastic and lots of pre packaged fruits & vegetables.I can buy all that at costco for half the price.Typical greed, the way of the future, they are dumbing down our expectations and getting rich of our complacency

Long lines on Christmas Eve day. Very inconsiderate about letting people with disabilities enter.. everyone were made to stand in the freezing cold.

Whole foods has a clean & healthy looking environment. Between fruits veggies breads etc. Also dining in or out the food looks delish, must try it one day. I enjoy walking by every store shelf & see what is on sale or what is new. Its pricey but worth it...

So I went to Wholefoods for some lady Alice apples ... they didn’t have any so I figured I’d try another kind of apples which turned out to be 19.47 for one small bag of applesI was appalled at the price and decided to put them back ... I have never paid almost 20.00 for apples.... unbelievable and ridiculously overpriced!!!! Meanwhile at wegmans one bag of apples costs 3.99

I am not reviewing the grocery store - which is the best Whole Foods of the many I have been to.No this review is to let other locals know this is by far the beat sports bar in Fair Lakes. Trust me. Whether it’s meeting Adam, the $7 blue cheese burger, or the over 20 draft beers - love it here.

Did I step into an alternate universe? I have not been in this store since earlier in the year and its completely changed. I understand the fear of Covid has caused drastic changes but I remember lots of places to sit to eat and that seems to have all been removed. I suppose this is Amazon related also. I doubt I will be coming back as I honestly dont shop here. I would come with my son to get pizza, hot foods, etc and sit and eat. But, no longer. Maybe the day after Christmas made it seem empty also, but it was nothing like what I remember. Empty parking lot, empty store. Oh well.

Very nice selection and great private label options. I would love to be able to quietly browse the toiletries/make up/decor section without an associate breathing down my neck and every 5 seconds, it always makes me feel like I am not welcomed. I shouldn’t feel guilty for saying “just browsing” and then continue to have them watch me out of the corner of their eye the whole time. There’s so many nice gift options to buy in this section but I don’t feel like I can enjoy myself browsing here.

3 Star is a normal grocery experience. This store is clean and maintained but also currently going thru a renovation... Everyone is friendly (for the most part) but their pricing labels are deceptive. I assumed my 3.49 item that rung up for 5.69 was just a mistake but the cashier let me know that that is what it always is. Consumers should NOT have to jump thru hoops to get the advertised price. -- Also -- not worried about the $2 but when you consider that the product is actually 70% more expensive than advertised it makes you second guess every display.

Just as I expected from Whole Foods, has some of my favorites from down in Norfolk and some good fresh produce!

For some strange reason Whole Foods does not sell frozen carrots. They sell blends of frozen vegetables that include carrots along with other vegetables. It has been this way for many years. When employees ask me if they can help me find anything I tell them I am looking for frozen carrots and they go through the motions and then tell me I can buy fresh carrots then sort of shrug and wander off. After several years of wondering about this little mystery I finally asked somebody at the customer service desk. They promised they would look into it. When I asked them a few weeks later what they found out I was told that they checked on it and the answer was that they dont sell them, and they dont sell them because they dont sell them. Mystery remains unsolved.Come on Whole Foods, let us know why you refuse to sell frozen carrots!

They are horrible because they are asking people to wait on the street not on thh side walk. Also there was no 6ft distant mark on the side walk or anywhere. They need to protect their customer more carefully.

Great store to find fresh organics and quality grass feed products. highly recommend you try whole food as prices are reasonable for organics compared to some stores conventional produce.

This place is an experience. Great selection of prepared foods, odds and ends, but the produce could be better. Love it.

What I definitely like about Whole Foods is their pizzas. They are of a good quality, fair price, and you can order them in advance.As for the rest, to my mind Whole Foods is similar to Wegmans but more expensive. Also the ready food is better in Wegmans.

I still shop here every now and then but employees are very rude. Cashier got angry at me for brining two pizzascause it takes up entire conveyor belt space. Dont sell freaking pizza then

A couple days ago, I ate lunch at the patio and a young employee named Franco had excellent customer service skills. He recommended a great salmon sandwich and had an overall positive attitude. I was having a bad day but he really cheered me up!

Always a good variety of fresh produce, meat and seafood here. A lot of choices to pick from, crowded though, helps to go during the week. Staff is always kind and personable.

The quality of the hot foods has declined drastically lately. Got ribs, mashed and green beans for a late lunch today. Pretty bad! Cant eat the ribs because they are all dried up and hard. Considering the price I am feeling cheated here... What happened to Whole Foods?? Used to be so good!

This is the best whole foods in Virginia. They have awesome customer service and they keep the location and its surrounding areas clean. The employees are very knowledgeable and it helps a lot with product selection.

I love that they have fresh tortillas. This is the only Whole Foods in the area I could find that has them. They are much better than wegmans.

I have a love hate relationship with whole foods markets. Quality is always great and the customer service never disappointed me. Their 365° brand has excellent quality items and priced reasonably. Some prices though are way higher for items for no reason. With all that said though, out of all whole foods markets I have been to in the metro dc area, and I have to more than a few, this location is fair lakes area is my #1 favorite grocery store to shop at. The items are comparable to others, but the atmosphere, the prepared food options, their amazing seafood restaurant, their duck wraps on Saturdays, their burger shop... are just a few of the reasons for me to drive 45 from where I live now to go to this place. 5 stars are well deserved.

One of my favorites whole foods store. Oddly new restaurant ordering guy had no I idea whats makes veggie burger vegan nor did he have any idea of what vegan is. Kinda off for the king of corporate world vegan friendly grocery store.

The premier Whole Foods in NoVa. Options seem endless and the beer/wine selection is fantastic. Restaurants are a fun addition, I recommend the sushi and ramen bar. The bar area is fun when open!

Coming from the Philadelphia and New York area to Northern Virginia, I searched high and low for a great pizza joint. Whole Foods Markets WholePizza is the best pizza I have had in the area. Hand-tossed dough with an authentic crust, top quality ingredients, made with passion, with lots of options. Try the Tandoori Chicken Pizza(only available on weekends): Marinaded chicken, Jalopenos, red onion and cilantro - Excellent!

This store is usually crowded irrespective of the weekdays or weekends. Just loved their fruit cake.The staff is helpful.
