I had a screw in my tire and didnt know if my tire could be repaired or would have to be replaced. Since I only have 5000 miles on the car, I was hoping it could be repaired. I was pleased that they were able to do the less expensive option. My regular tire store had refused to repair a run flat tire and said I had to replace it. Everyone is so nice at this BMW service center and the waiting room is great.

Generally, the service is comprehensive and of good quality. However, I’ve taken my car in for several consecutive services and the complementary cleaning is poor. My internal windows were poorly cleaned and none of the internal surfaces were wiped down although there is the claim of a comprehensive cleaning.While the general service is good, the add-ons that are meant to incentivize using the dealership are not done with much (little more than any) intentional attention to quality to make the additional expense really worth it.

I received exceptional service. BMW of Fairfax went beyond the call of service and replaced computer housing unit in my X5 that had passed warranty date by one month. This was done in advance on me asking. I just believe that is the best service ever. Im now a BMW of Fairfax for lifetime.Thanks 😊

Rapid response. I was able to bring my car in within an hour of contacting you. Great service. Valet who gave me a ride home was extremely courteous and, knew all the back ways to get from dealership to my home in Tysons. You are lucky to have him on your team. I would not normally travel from DC to Fairfax, but my Advisor Robert, left the BMW dealership that I normally frequent. Hands down the experience at this BMW service center, was EXCEPTIONAL! I was immediately greeted, offered beverages and snacks, and made comfortable until my Advisor was able to meet with me (literally immediately). We went through my vehicle and the issues that I wanted to address. Robert, was professional, seriously interested in solving any challenges, and super committed to taking care of my problem in order to get me on my way as quickly as possible. The genuineness and commitment from everyone I encountered at this BMW service center, was a breath of fresh air. I felt valued, rspected, and that this BMW service center was seriously interested in my BMWs overall mechanical health. WITHOUT a shadow of a doubt, I will utilize this BMW service center going forward. The experience was awesome!

Amazing service. It was nice to know that the technician (Eduardo) wanted to spend a little more time with the car to get to the bottom of my problem and to make sure it was safe to drive. Great service from Derrick Chambliss and from Valentino. Derrick was quick to greet me, get me entered into the system, keep my up to date on progress and explain the service. Valentino provided me rapid, friendly and safe shuttle transportation. My car was delivered to me washed, vacuumed and in great condition. Very satisfied with the level of customer service from this maintenance facility.

It was a tire blowout that made me bring my car in to this dealership. They eventually found other things that needed fixing. Adam contacted me at every turn to update me and I felt he was very honest with me. I especially appreciated that he made me aware that my warranty is almost expiring. I had forgotten that and I would have paid a lot more money for all the work my car needed. The service was also quick, and other staff members were very nice and helpful as well. I have a dealership closer to my home but I will be going to the Fairfax location from now on. Five stars to Adam and this dealership!!!

Took a few days to get a loaner, but once that was accomplished, the service was very good. Adam listened to the concerns and maintained good communication. Despite having to replace a part, the work was done the same day, ready to pick up the next morning. No complaints, and will definitely return.

Had a bunch of engine trouble lights coming on. Walid was very attentive in listening to my description of the problems, and was efficient and professional inprocessing my car. In sharp contrast to other times at other dealerships, they quickly identified the singular problem with the car (bad wheel speed sensor), and didnt try to tag a whole bunch of other things wrong onto the bill. Ive had the car in a couple other shops, and they couldnt ID the problem. Never thought Id say this about getting work done at a dealership, but it was a great experience.

I was able to get the appointment I wanted and service was completed on time as promised. Due to the high demand of computer chips, the service loaners were not readily available. My service advisor informed me of this prior to my appointment and offered alternate transportation (UBER voucher, or a ride to the Metro station).Check in, check out and vehicle valet were quick and effecient.

Very first appointment. Wanted to verify if I needed brakes all-around, as advised by another local BMW Dealer Service Department. I wasnt sure I was receiving accurate information. So made this appointment to check.Bottom line: Service Advisor said No brakes needed. Drive your car and enjoy. Based on this information it is definitely a solid 4.5 . There was no work performed on my car other than an inspection of the brakes and rotors. Accordingly, the Service Advisor particularly, gave me the confidence and the belief that my car will be in good hands. I will go back to them for service.

Very professional. My service person (Derrick) was knowledgeable and knew right away what I was reporting on my vehicle was a known issue and assured me they would do everything to make sure the vehicle was checked for optimal safety. He updated me several times and realized when the completion of the update was taking longer than expected. He secured me a loaner so I could stay on schedule for my kids.Everyone from service team to loaner desk to front desk to valet— very pleasant and polite.

The difference between BMW dealership service department experiences is due largely to your service consultant. We followed our service consultant Kevin Mam from BMW of Alexandria, which we have been using for 16 years, to the less convenient (for us) BMW of Fairfax because of his impeccable service and honesty. So did my son with his and his wife’s 2 X3’s. Kevin is a straight shooter able to navigate expertly both repair and warranty issues. He always responds to text messaging when I need advice and gets me scheduled promptly with a minimum of fuss. While checking me in, Kevin spotted a nail in my tire that could have gone unnoticed for months until air started leaking requiring a return for service. I have had my wife’s 2019 X3 and my 2016 Z4 serviced there in the past 2 weeks. Hers for scheduled maintenance. Mine for an issue overlooked during my scheduled maintenance at BMW of Alexandria in May. (The services checked above are for both cars combined.) Getting a loaner requires advance reservation; and at BMW of Alexandria I sometimes have to wait up to an hour to get one if I arrive at the wrong time of day. The $75/day Uber credit offered by BMW of Fairfax made it unnecessary to get a loaner and more convenient. (So I can’t rate its loaner services.) For the final car wash, the windshield of my Z4 was cleaned and crystal clear inside as well as out. (It was pretty dirty on the inside when I dropped it off.) When Kevin left BMW of Alexandria, it wasn’t the same for either my son or for me. Thanks to its acquiring Kevin Mam, BMW of Fairfax is now servicing 4 cars it was not servicing before.

She is meticulous in her attention to detail. She has EXCEPTIONAL people skills. She treats you more like family than a customer. Ms. Frankie Johnson is our Service Advisor and has been 2014. She is fantastic to work with. I had a seat belt malfunction and it needed to be replaced. I scheduled my appoint a week in advance and she made sure the part was ordered and in before I came to the service area. She saw I was close to an oil change and air cabin filter replacement, so she went a head and schedule that service as well. All the work was done in just a few hours. Our car was cleaned and vacuumed and we were on our way. It always a great experience working with Ms. Frankie Johnson at BMW of Fairfax

Always updates me with how my car is going and when the work will be completed. Never never had a bad experience with her. Helped me with loaner issues and got me alternative transportation. This is the second BMW dealer I’ve tried for service around the Beltway, and I’ll be returning here for future service needs. Service advisor Warranty repair and recall work performed on time. Kevin provided stellar service. Very knowledgeable. Made sure my car was charged before I picked it up. Great communication, called me proactively. Made sure I had plenty of Uber credit to get to work & back and forth from home for the overnight repair. Car was much cleaner than I expected for washing/vacuuming after service. Great experience!

Could not recommend this place enough. Very professional, responsive, and transparent at each step in the process. My vehicle had a frustratingly elusive issue, that the technicians and team were able to hunt down and completely fix (mostly under warranty and with a slight discount for the wait, might I add!). Very good service, but ridiculous prices. Almost $900 for 3 hours of basic recommended services. Im sorry $200 labor to replace an air and cabin filter. Then $80 for shop supplies??? Cant even imagine the price to actually have something fixed or repaired. Everyone was super nice, but these prices do not make any sense.

I had a break flush and air filter replacement. The people and space are nice and conveniently located but the prices are inflated relative to other similar service centers for the services I received. I would only return for very complex services where BMW expertise may be more necessary.

I’ve been coming to the service center in Fairfax for years. Last couple of visits, customer service has declined both in initial phone contact to make my appointment and when I’m dropping my vehicle off. I waited nearly ten minutes and was not seen in order of my arrival and I was literally the only person in the arrival bay. The one individual assigned to check in customers ignored me completely. There used to be plenty of employees available to help customers, but even if it was an off day, it costs nothing for an employee to acknowledge the presence of a customer. On a better note, my service advisor Adam was great. Too bad it takes two layers of poor customer service to get to him. Will take my car elsewhere to be serviced from now on. Plenty of BMW service centers in the area.

I was also unaware of my safety inspection expiration and she noticed that and took care of it. When I arrived at the service center, it took less than a minute for someone to attend to me. The customer service I received is horrible. The advisor and technician seem like they don’t pay attention to the details. The general manager has an arrogant attitude; looks like he do not care for customers concerned and car issues; all he cars about is bringing money to the company. It’s demeaning to treat customer as if they cannot afford BMW service.Please know, the two individuals who treat me with respect and dignity were Shea (very nice and polite) and Konrad (very nice, respectful and caring). They both listen to my car needs and issues. They both deserve to be general managers in charge of the entire service department; Konrad knows his job with excellence and poise.

I’ve always came to Fairfax while under cars maintenance program so I decided to come here after the plan ran out. I left after being told that a basic oil change was over $600, which included air and cabin filters. I went to BMW of Richmond whom took care of me and checked my air and cabin filters before recommending them needing to be replaced (which didn’t need replacing). Out the door at BMW Richmond was only ~ $134.

I dropped my car off at 7am for an oil change and recall issue and specified that I needed it back by 1pm. I talked with my rep around 9 am to verify the repairs I wanted. I went to pick up my car around 1:30pm and it was not ready. I had to pick up my daughter from daycare by 2:30pm in Bristow, VA (35-45 mins away). There was no excuse for my car not being ready. The representative at the front desk called my advisor to the front to let him know I was there. In the meantime I’m trying to contact my advisor through text. He didn’t come up and didn’t respond until 20 mins later. He said my car wasn’t ready and they were waiting on a part for the recall. I told him I had to go ASAP. And would have to reschedule to get the recall issue fixed. He apologized and brought the paperwork up 5 mins later. This service was very unacceptable in my opinion because there is no reason why my car should not have been ready and if so I should have been informed a lot earlier about the issue. Also there were no loaner vehicles available.

Robert was very professional accepting my 2019 BMW X1 for the appointment. He fully explained which services were covered by my warranties. The loaner car was the same model, with only 5 miles on it!By 4 pm I had a full diagnostic report with costs. While I could approve online, the would improve I would offer is to separate warranty repair costs from the total cost. One text with Robert cleared that up. My car was ready by noon the next day, washed and vacuumed.BMWs aren’t cheap to operate, you know any bill for a shop visit probably starts at $500. But the work was done well, and car is running great!

BMW of Fairfax Service Center is very polite, professional and clean. Def would utilize their services again. However, the BMW X5 45e itself is a Death Trap. Forcing people to stay in the car with no Air at all. Menu options allow this feature to be disabled but the car ignores it and BMW NA says this is normal operation. This issue in time will cause someone to die or be seriously injured, if it hasnt already! Be Warned if you are looking to buy a BMW Plug In Hybrid vehicle.

My check engine light came on so I made an appointment for a Wednesday but dropped off the vehicle around 2pm on Tuesday due to leaving town. By 4:30 p.m. Tuesday they had fixed the check engine light (needed a software update), found electrical wiring had been chewed on (I live on a mountain) and replaced the wiring harness, and as per my maintenance plan, changed the oil, wiper blades, and worn rear brakes. They did all of this on Tuesday!The team members are all very professional, the facility spotless, and I couldnt be more pleased.

I scheduled a routine appointment for an oil change but was told my car requested ~$1,200 worth of additional services. After declining the additional services and charges I waited three hours for my car to simply have an oil change. I wasn’t given any updates on the status of the work from the advisor and finally had to ask the front desk to track down the status of my car.

Wow! This was a great experience. My first time here and it was a little weird just pulling in to make the garage door go up but other than...smooth. lol. Shea greeted me and was happy to hear me ramble on about my cars situation. I had scheduled ahead of time so a loaner vehicle was ready for me. They kept in touch via text while my car was there. I did something incredibly stupid and locked the keys in the loaner car...BMW came out and saved me. Also, any issues are immediately resolved, and by issues, some were clearly mine. Conrad and Shea were amazing. I dont know all the people in the background and I thank them too. Will not hesitate to return to receive service. Highly recommend!!!

Frankie the account rep was responsive. I was disappointed that even though I had a tire replaced, wheel alignment, and tire rotation completed NONE of the tires had the proper tire pressure. They werent even close...I verified them before I drove off the BMW lot.For a $2,700 bill I actually do expect a thorough job. Sorry, if your mechanics think I am expecting to much.

I arrived for an oil change and to remove a tiny small dent. I also would like to add the service rep Karina did a good job to ensure my vehicle was serviced properly. I was told since my vehicle was purchased in Alexandria my paperwork was not in their system. I contacted the service center in Alexandria a service rep explained I have full coverage and the service rep needs to request a service claim on my behalf. I’ve contacted the service rep several times regarding the claim just going back and forth and still no resolution. However, I think the contract of having coverage with Assurant is extremely backed up and the process to start a claim takes too long.The waiting room is clean, with delicious coffees, and snacks.

I brought my BMW into the service center on 10/6 for a scheduled appointment created by BMW for a recall. Service technician Robert Curry approached my vehicle and asked what brought me into the service center. I told him I received an email to bring the vehicle in for a recall by BMW. He asked for the key and I handed him my keys, but he said all he needed was the base and slowly pulled out the stick in a gesture as if I never knew that existed. When my BMW was ready, I received a missed call from Robert Curry at 3:48pm. I could not answer the phone because I was attending a Zoom meeting with work. Robert Curry did not leave a voicemail message nor send me a cellphone text, which is standard with the Service Center, to let customers know their vehicles are ready. When I called back at 4:17pm to his direct dial number, he did not answer, so I left a message and also followed up with an email at 4:24pm. I called back again at 5pm and still no answer and also followed up with an email at 5:11pm. When I still did not receive a reply to my emails or voicemail messages from Robert Curry, I called the receptionist and she stated she would leave a paper message on his desk. Robert Curry finally called back at 5:14pm and he said my vehicle was ready. He never said what was done to the vehicle, if the recall was fixed, or if the vehicle was going into wash. When I inquired about not receiving a voicemail message or a cellphone text (which is standard with the Service Center), he cut me off in conversation while I was trying to explain to him that I was on a Zoom conference call with work, and simply stated I did not leave a voicemail message. Ive been with BWM for 7 years and this type of service/unprofessionalism is not what one should expect from the Service Center. Robert Curry also did not forward the completion invoice by email which is also standard with the Service Center.

I was out of town and had low tire pressure. It turned out that I had a bolt puncture my tire. It was mid-afternoon on Saturday before the holiday on Monday. I called the dealership and they instructed me to come in immediately and they would fit me in. When I arrived they were super busy! The valet and service advisor were very professional and very kind and assured me I would be taken care of. I had a nice experience at BMW of Fairfax. Thank you.

Brought the car in for regular scheduled maintenance with a few concerns. Derrick and the BMW Service Tech took good care of my vehicle and kept me updated throughout the entire wait.Waiting area have enough snacks and coffee to keep you sane and the ability to leave and come back if need be was not an issue if I had to venture off on my own.BMW Fairfax has yet to let me down.

Neils was my salesman and he took me on a test drive to see which model I liked best. He was patient and answered all my questions. He knew and understood that the market is terrible for buying a car right now due to low inventory and chip shortages, but still Neils helped me to get the best deal I could find. This was the first time I brought my car to the dealership, and while it definitely cost a lot, their customer service was superb and worth the cost. Unlike other mechanics Ive used, I know exactly what I am getting done, exactly what it costs, and I dont feel taken advantage of or in the dark about whether I am getting value for my money. Also, they assured me that they stand by their work. The one downside was that they were a bit delayed finishing my car because of some sort of backload. However, my agent and his assistant were very apologetic and kept me in the loop the entire time.

I needed a state inspection on my older model 435i and was debating between going to a nearby gas station or driving a little further away to BMW of Fairfax. I’m so glad I chose to go to BMW of Fairfax Service Center! The place was crowded and I was told by Karina Gonzalez that it may take 2 hours. Ugh! But, I would rather wait in the comfortable waiting area there with A/C, drinks, snacks, and a tv than at a gas station. Karina took great care of me. I was out in less than an hour. Not only was a state inspection done, but my car was vacuumed and washed, and they topped off my fluids and checked my tires. You don’t get that extra service for free at a gas station!

They couldnt reproduce the noise I had complained of. Not sure how thats possible since its quite audible and consistent. I was busy that day and didnt have time to debate with them further. Will be taking the car elsewhere next time. 3 stars for a good oil change though.

Went in for an early low-oil light concern; came out with a $1800 bill for replacing a valve cover that wasnt necessary. I dont mind the prices either, I understand the premium, but it was the lack of transparency and hard-stance sales tactics used. The service rep didnt even sound like he knew what the technician was recommending or why my low oil light was triggering. Someday Ill learn my lesson and find an honest local mechanic instead of this place......smh.

I purchased a new car. For the past six years, I have been driving a Mercedes and the Sales professional--Brian (ask for him by name) was highly knowledgeable about the vehicle that he showed me and I test drove. He was honest and had my best interest in mind when making recommendations. I ended up ordering a car since one was not available on the lot. Had to wait a bit, but the car came in a whole month early!! He got me a fair deal including a few extras.The vehicle was ready for me to pick up on the day promised with only 5 miles on the odometer (newest car, I have ever bought) and going through financing was extremely professional, quick and easy. Brian then took the time to show me all the options (there are a lot) on the new car--most importantly safety configurations, synchronization with my phone and personalizations just for me.I live in Potomac, but went to Fairfax BMW because of Brian and his professionalism. The salesperson at Rockville BMW didnt even bother calling or checking back with me, even though I visited the dealership twice and expressed my interest.I would go back and purchase from Brian and Fairfax BMW anytime and would highly recommend him.

I bought a BMW with these new Run Flat tires, which I did not even realize were going to be on the car. After the car arrived, they sold me on this expensive maintenance plan for these tires (over 2k) where they would fix any flats or damaged tires for free. After about 22k in miles, 3 of the tires were worn down for reasons that BMW attributed to misalignment of the tires. Even though the warrantly plan I paid extra for provided tire protection for 60k miles, BMW wanted me to pick up the 1,600 tab for replacing the tires. I refused and went to another repair service who did an alignment check and confirmed that was not causing the problem. Now I have to chase after the warranty company because BMW had no desire to be an advocate for their clients. If you buy a BMW, dont waste your money on the run flat tire warranty, and always get your car fixed somewhere else after your warranty expires.

First of all, they fix what they say they will fix. They even gave me loaner for a week thank you for that. Okay that is all great. But the fact that my hood has been overly scratched with spider like marks. Not sure why someone would rub the hood with towel that has pebbles in it because that is how the car came after the repairs were done. My cup holder also had some random persons business card and Im wondering if this car was here for about a week and someone used it for personal use? Also the center console where the computer and the touch screen was changed and massive scratch towards driver side. As if someone sandpaper the clear coat off of the gloss black. Now okay, all the other repairs are good and car is okay. But couldnt you guys could have took care of my paint work and my car with care? I never have seen so many paint scratches in my life when went to actual factory service center. Also why was my passenger side chair looked as if someone slept in it because reclining and thigh support was Uber-extended when i received the car as well. Also door handle inside was definitely dirty as heck and never alone the handle too... I have no idea why but trunk tray was flipped and disarray and trunk surface had similar scratches Nland swirl marks on the surface.. The detailing service quoted a very high price for the paint corrections... I wish I could just do finger print analysis on this technician who put random business card from elsewhere and make that person pay using this for personal use or thought of the cup holder as trash can. I remember also the car SHOULD NOT BE WASHED because it will damage the plate that is mounted off side. Why would they wash the car and scratch it even more? LASTLY, people, where is my tire valve stem caput that I bought it personally and put it on there? Why is it missing on my right side rear wheel? This can go big but I dont even want to deal with people very disrespectful to their ultimate driving machinePlease train your people properly. Very horrific experience!!!
