Disappointing attempt to purchase a car EVER!Salesman Fabian was rude, demeaning and unprofessional.I was about to purchase a car and my husband came to do the final check with me. He noticed a gap as thick as a finger between the hood on one side and no gap in the other. That is an obvious sign of a car damage that was meticulously masked with the front plastic piece.When he brought this to Fabian’s attention he said if you don’t want to buy it just leave and he will sell it anyways to someone else.He kept asking, do you want it or not!!! He was very impatient and seemed like he wanted us to leave.Awful experience overall.Not likely to recommend this dealership to anyone.

The guy that was selling us the car got super rude and aggressive after we found that the car he was selling had damage .We asked to take the car to a pre purchase garage and how does that change the price ?He raised his voice and began repeating “If you don’t like it you don’t have to buy it !!!” Again and again and again .I’ve tried to talk reasonably to him but he was getting more and more loud and aggressive.At a certain point I’ve asked if he will continue selling the car as “clean car”.He replied “if you will not buy it someone else will buy it, I don’t care”.Be careful, it seems to be they do some unhealthy stuff in this dealership.I could fit my fingers into this gap, someone covers it with a cheap plastic cover to hide the gap.Miserable experience- I would not go back to purchase a vehicle in that place!

My friends of 20 years bought two cars from this dealership, and from Fabian Ponce in particular. They said if you’re in the market for a new Hyundai, go see Fabian. So happy I did. I purchased a 2022 Kona Limited and Fabian made the process so easy. First of all, he took the time to let me test drive 3 different cars and explained how they all compared to each other.As a female, I have very often been talked down to at car dealerships. Not the case with Lee Johnson and Fabian. Post sale, he went through the manuals and inside the car to make sure I was comfortable. I’m a straight shooter, and I appreciated Fabian’s directness and honesty. I love my new car and I recommend Lee Johnson and Fabian.

I have had both of my Hyundais serviced at Lee Johnson. I have found the personnel to be very professional and very customer focused. The waiting area is nice, and in the past the snacks the beverages were great! I have always been happy with the work that was done and I have never seen them recommend work unless it was really needed. I have had multiple great experiences in getting my cars serviced here.

Its no wonder Lee Johnson Hyundai of Everett has such great reviews. I just had the opportunity to work with Dillon, and it was a seamless experience. Ive had some really negative car buying experiences, and this was the polar opposite. Dillon and his manager were both helpful and completely transparent.I had been shopping for a Kona EV and even though theres short supply, Dillon was able to find me an outstanding deal on the lot. We worked out a fair price quickly, and I was given time to float it to other dealerships. Nobody could compete and I felt confident that I made the right choice purchasing the car.Before we finalized on the deal, Dillon provided a list of every fee, cost, and option available. There were no surprises and every dollar was accounted for by the time we finished. More than that, there werent the mind games or sales tactics that Ive experienced at other dealerships. I would 100% work with Dillon and the team again before anyone else.

Its hard to get basic service questions answered. The chat function on the website ends up with a referral to call the phone number or a promise to get back with more information (but no one ever does). When asking a question on the phone the person wants to get rid of you as fast as he can. I know they are busy, but I am too, and just listening for a few seconds would save everyone time. They need to be reminded that they are in the business of service; you work for us, not the other way around.

UPDATE: I wish this was a good update but Im lowering to one star. We ended up buying from them... And they proceeded to send our paperwork to the wrong department so its infinitely lost and we have to resign it all. They send someone to our home, he cant find our house, then he doesnt know who needs to sign where so we do the best we can with no direction besides a few sticky notes and a person who doesnt know what were signing. He leaves, comes back a second time unannounced saying we did need my husband to sign everything after all. An hour later we get a call saying its still not all signed correctly and they have to send another person.I will never recommend that my friends or family purchase from this dealership, theyre clearly so disorganized they cant call back people who are trying to purchase from them or process paperwork correctly.ORIGINAL:The team was great to start out with, but after leaving, theyve followed up with me twice with the same questions, and still no answer on the offer I gave them. The second person that called me said there were no notes in the system from the previous call where I made my offer, so he would have to start from scratch and get back to me, and I never got a call back from that either. Now the car I wanted has sold so Ill have to search elsewhere and farther from home.They also offered me an embarrassingly low trade in offer, even the sales person agreed I could sell it myself for double.

Went in just to see what would be possible in the future. Jeff was quick to respond and work his magic. He was able to get my trade in valued higher than I thought it was worth and get me into a brand new car that night. He got me into a nicer car than I had planned and was able to keep the payments at a manageable amount. He got me in and out quickly. I would give 5 stars to the Service Department, we had the best experience with them, went out of their way not to overcharge us on the service items we did not need.The Dealership on the other hand, Im not sure if it was the salesman, Julien, who seemed nice enough, or the finance department. I went without my husband and felt I was treated like they were trying to scam me out of money. I asked multiple times for them to take off the extended warranty, they would not. They could not give me an exact interest rate and would not run my credit through any other bank except for their in-house financing. I felt like I was backed into a corner. It was extremely disheartening to come in excited and leave feeling like I was not listened to. On top of that, they have KBB signage everywhere and offered $15,000 on my car, which I feel like they wanted to purposely low ball me to add more onto my loan. I asked if they could raise and they said no.We went to Hyundai of Edmonds and had a great experience. I would recommend them over and over. They gave me $19.8 for my trade, the process was easy, and we walked out with a lower interest rate than what we signed off on. Amazing.

I had a great experience making a new vehicle purchase in this dealership. The sales and finance people were polite, helpful, and most importantly did not try to force me into getting extra warranties once I said I did not want them.I got a better price compared to sister dealerships in the area and much better customer service. Since I knew what car I wanted, a quick test drive along with all the purchasing and financing paper work was completed within 2 hours.Highly recommend Hyundai of everett for your car needs.

Came to Google specifically to give this place a 5-star review. The team stayed late, past hours, to help me - they were very up-front and honest, answered every question I have, and the thing I appreciated most of all was that when I asked for space to think, they allowed me as much time as I needed to think and make decisions.It was late and their insurance guys couldnt be contacted, so I tried to set up insurance myself. They waited for me as I did it, and I felt bad because of how long it was taking! But not only did they take time out of their personal lives to stay, they went above and beyond for me to get in contact with the insurance people to MAKE SURE I could drive my car off the lot that day.It never felt like a quick sale. I paid almost $30,000 cash for a car. Didnt come with a spare key. I was told used cars dont its policy. Ok, my last used car had 2 spare keys, but whatever thats fine. Then, as I am leaving I ask my sales representative if the tank is full of gas. She stated only half full, its policy for a used car. I looked at her and asked, so we just almost spent $30,000 with you, and we cant leave with a full tank of gas? She apologized and said no. The only reason for 2 stars is the finance gentleman worked with us while she was talking with another gentleman and saved us $1,000 while she was getting validation on why she couldnt take the $1,000 off. I have never in my life been treated like that buying a car. I honestly am still a little shocked.

When I began looking for a car, I went first to my local dealership. I live close to the border and had to work my way south to find the best deal. Not only did I save thousands of dollars and left with a lifetime warranty, but I have never had so much FUN buying a car. I drive an hour and a half to Everett to get my car serviced. Again, I tried my local dealership first. The prices were almost 4 times higher and the service person on the phone was in a hurry and downright rude. Its more than worth the drive to Lee Johnson of Everett. The sales and management team, finance, and service personnel are not only knowledgeable, but they are the most professional I have ever encountered. I will never buy a car anywhere else!

So overall, sales side this place is great. I was situated in a good car that I love.But service I would not come here for oil changes etc. They dont have a consistent system for MPIs, rotations, etc. And will most likely break stuff and never tell you, assuming they actually did the work, or correctly did it.Youll wait up to 2 hrs at times before getting your vehicle back because the techs doing your oil change are messing around or off in the other shop lolligagging while your car is on the lift in the air and hasnt even had the drain plug pulled.Sales side, great place to buy a car. Maintenance side, I would go elsewhere if you have the means.Would I buy another car from them? Yes. Would I trust anyone in the lube bays to touch my car? Not a chance.Would I trust the main line mechanics to touch my car? Yes.But when not even 10% of cars are seen by the main line, I wouldnt.they dont check cabin air filters when they say they did, they dont tell you when they screwed up a drain pan and will charge you for it anyway.

From the minute we walked onto the lot, the staff at Lee Johnson Hyundai of Everett took care of us and were very attentive. Julian and Brandon followed up with us to be transparent when the Palisade that met our wishes was to become in stock, and took time to talk us through all of the features of the vehicle. We had Jeff Plunkett help us buy a new Hyundai Palisade and it worked out great. We were looking for a specific type of Palisade with certain packages and options and Lee Johnson had it. We live in Idaho and worked out the numbers with Jeff through phone calls, emails, and texts and felt that he and the dealership were honest and up-front with the deal, so we took the drive and it was definitely worth it.

Originally went to another dealer to test drive car because I was 95% sure this is what I wanted. The other dealer had 2 Veloster N models but would not allow a test drive,. What a mistake!. Contacted Lee Johnsons and spoke with Lee in sales. He was very helpful and asked which one of the Veloster Ns i was interested in so he could have it available when I arrived. Upon arriving at Lee Johnson Hyundai everyone was very nice and accommodating. Lee was with a guest but the other sales department people were very helpful. Upon meeting Lee he acquired the customary paperwork needed so my wife and I could test drive vehicle. He had it pulled up and filled with fuel. After driving vehicle I was sure it was what I wanted. Sales process went very smooth and I left very please with my purchase. Lee even followed up to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a Hyundai or used vehicle.

Travis was a great help when I received a letter about a recall on my 2014 Hyundai coupe. (LOVE this car! Why did they stop making coupes??? Bring them back!!) Aside from my commentary, Travis was extremely polite on the phone, which is VERY important to me. He made my visit care-free. He was reassuring about the recall, assuring me there was no danger, which I greatly appreciated. The job was done promptly and with no muss or fuss. Anthony has been outstanding to work with, and he truly listened to my needs in my shopping experience. He and Becky (finance dept) were very personable and they patiently answered my questions.Service - Ive been taking my 2004 Sonata I purchased at Hyundai of Everett to their service department exclusively, and I feel I have always been treated fairly and respectfully. The one time I remember (in 16 years!) that I had an after-service issue (non-mechanical), they resolved it quickly and efficiently. LONG overdue shout-out to Marshall and Travis and the service department!I live 4 miles from another Hyundai dealership and pass a second one on my way to Everett; I lived in Renton when I bought my Sonata in 2004. The dealership from which I would purchase my next vehicle was never even a question after dealing with both service and sales over the years. In mid-November, I came in to pick up a van that I had purchased from an associated used car dealer and I had some issues with it. Tyler S. in pre-owned sales and James W. in the service dept were both extremely helpful and patient in resolving a couple of issues with the van. Recently had some issues with my Hyundai Santa Fe and decided to try Hyundai of Everett. Very happy I did. My service manager was Travis and he went above and beyond to help me out. They ended up needing to keep my car for some major repair work; replace engine and many other components. Without bringing up my fear of being car-less for an underdetermined period of time, Travis proactively offered a comped rental while my car was being repaired. He took care of everything and kept me well informed during the process. This experience re-certified my trust in Hyundai and gave confirmation as to why Ive stayed with the brand for close to 10 years.

I originally attempted to schedule my service with the Hyundai of Kirkland because thats where I purchased my car. After not being able to get in touch with the Service department after several attempts, I gave Lee Johnson Hyundai of Everett a call who got me in two days after I called. Jackie Walton greeted me about entrance into the dealership. She was friendly and knowledgeable. She asked how she could help and listened to my needs. She immediately took me out and talked to me about two cars that had caught my interest. I drove both cars and she helped me find the car that best met my needs: a 2021 KONA AWD. I love it. I am a 77 year old and was appreciative of her guidance through the whole process, checking to make sure all went well. She called after I left to make sure I could use the phone and offered to help me set up the navigation system when I was ready. Best Customer Service Ive ever experienced at a dealership! Julien is my Sales Rep. Highly recommended. Originally went in for an Elantra, but needed a smaller car. Julien knew what trim I wanted & never showed us a car without those options. After 4 other test drives, we fell in love with the 2021 Hyundai Iconiq Limited Hybrid! Julien was even nice enough to hold it for us overnight. Then put down a deposit & they kept it for a week while I was recovering from surgery. Julien & staff stayed in touch, via text, to check on my progress. Which was much appreciated!! Julien even answered all my dumb questions!!! Financing was easy. Made it all simple. No pressure. All staff were professional & calm despite always being busy! Ive now had my vehicle a few days & absolutely love it!! I have been to many dealerships in my life. This one is indeed a Dimond in the rough. Form purchasing to servicing, the service is great. When I took the car in for a normal servicing, the sales agent came over and said hi. He remembered me from over a year ago. The service department was helping an older person in front of me and they were honest with him. They could have sold him a new battery but they instead said that all they had to do was tighten a belt! And then they didnt charge him for it saying we were under there already. It took no extra work for us to turn a bolt. So heres the key. The fact that they could have easily made money from something simple like a battery yet told the truth instead. That impressed me. So yep, Id recommend them.

Went into to look at and test drive a car. We told the guy exactly what we wanted. He said that it wasnt in stock but we could test drive the same model but without the options we wanted. The car was nearly out of gas, the gas light turned on just after we pulled out of the lot. He didnt tell us about any of the safety features about the steering autocorrecting so that was a huge shock when I was entering the freeway and the lines merged and the car thought I was going off the road. When we got back to talk about financing, we told him our budget and what price we were looking at and he couldnt even get close. He offered us $1500+ less than our trade-ins were worth. He said the car we wanted with the options we wanted would take almost 6 months to get in stock. Then as we were preparing to walk away, he magically said that the exact car we wanted had come in last night and was in the back and we could take it today but it was the premier package and so the price tag would stay the same even though we offered to put more money down. They never even checked with a bank!! He kept running back and forth to the manager to get us estimate prices and told us that well, your credit isnt good enough to get you the price you want. So we walked. We have told everyone we know to NEVER go there, we will continue to tell people to NEVER go there and its AMAZING how many horror stories weve heard from family and friends about this location. Unfortunate, because Hyundai is a great car at a great price!

Travis from the service department is my hero!! In all seriousness, the service department at Hyundai of Everett has never disappointed me—in fact, they continually impress when it comes to servicing my 2011 Sonata. An outside mechanic told me the car was toast and I took it to the dealership as a last ditch effort and Travis worked his magic. Take your vehicle here if you want authenticity and an alliance when it comes to servicing your vehicle.

Julien Bettelheim is an absolute pleasure to work with. I shared my desires and rather than suggesting the first vehicle that came to mind, Julien took the time to consider my needs and came back with thoughtful options. This would be the sign of an amazing professional in any situation but even more so in my case as I was a distance buyer with only phone contact. While I did not proceed with buying car from Lee Johnson I would definitely feel comfortable doing so in the future.

Honest, transparent and fair. That’s how I would describe my experience. To say it was the best car buying experience of my life is an understatement. I am very happy. I chose to drop my Lexus SUV for a Hyundai Palisade because of a poor experience with my former dealership, where I did not feel valued. I highly recommend Hyundai of Everett, particularly Brandon Desenberg- who is a nice person and genuinely wants to help his customers. 5 stars!

I purchased a Tucson for my wife at Lees in 2012 and have been more pleased than I could imagine. The Tucson is the best car I have ever owned in 50 years! I was fortunate to have Anthony assist on my recent purchase of a 2021 Palisade. From start to finish my experience was pleasant, even through negotiations. ...not my typical car buying experience. He followed up after the purchase several night in a row to ensure all questions were adressed and that i was satasfied. FANTASTIC Customer service and follow through. Nice place. People were friendly and went about as quick as you can expect with covid stuff going on. Inside looks kinda like a mental institutions lunch room but it works. Not as nice as a Toyota dealership to wait for maintenance to be done. I recommend going out on a walk.

Went to buy a car after not having one. Unlike every other dealership I went to, they claimed you needed current insurance to test drive a car (that they didnt insure their cars), and adamantly told me to buy a single day of insurance for the car I was interested in test driving 😒.Go to another dealership.

Amazing customer service. Ive been coming here since I found out I was getting scammed form pepboys. These guys are genuine and very nice. Had weird issues with my turn signal turning off my car lights and Eric replaced the parts within a couple days and it hasnt had that problem since! Stuff here are expensive but you get what you pay for!

I went to Hyundai of Everett already knowing what I was interested in, a 2020 Tuscon SE. Jeff Plunkett showed me each type of trim of the Tuscon and based on my budget, suggested I Consider the Value trim. Their promotion for Memorial Day made it so I could afford something a bit nicer than the SE. Jeff was very thorough in answering all my questions and truly made the car buying experience seamless and enjoyable. For my first car buying experience, I had a lot more questions probably than the average person and Jeff didn’t hesitate to explain things in more detail for me. I had a very firm budget for my monthly payment and he worked with me to get a number that I could afford! Once I took the car home, I noticed a few spots on the car that needed further detailing. I called Jeff the next day and he was extremely apologetic and got me in and out quickly with my car looking flawless.

Patrick was AMAZING!!! When the car I wanted wasn’t on the lot he traveled up to Lake Stevens with me to go look at it. He was very informed and made sure I understood everything he was saying (I’m not great with car terminology). He explored all my options with me and was honest through the whole thing. Great vibe when you come in. I walked away for 3 different car dealerships or the past week because of the vibe and the Sales Rep, including the Hyundai in Kirkland. I did not get that extra pressure here. The lack of respect. The Sales Rep I worked with name was Captain hes a great guy. I made sure I waited the extra two days on his days off just to work with him even though the other Reps there were good as while. The gentleman that gave me a test drive on Captains day off really was amazing too for got his name but I know he was retiring last week. Wish you all the best thanks for everything.
