Its always a pleasure to shop at any Rural King, but our West side store is the best. Wide aisles and friendly staff...love the baby chicks!

Decent products and stock but customer service is getting worse and worse. Called the customer help line and they were a disaster. I genuinely was surprised at how much their management just didnt seem to care. Sucks because they generally DO have the best value on so many farm purchases I make.

The store is nice and has about everything and the prices are competitive. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is that because they have so much it can be difficult to find what youre looking for and its VERY HARD to find an employee on the floor to ask for help. If I could id give a 4 and a half stars. Unfortunately its only allowing me 4 or 5

Amazing! Super big. Am not sure if its because of the location but things are cheaper than other Rural kings Ive been to. Huge selection for pets. Grocery basics, outdoor tables, chairs, games ect...variety of clothing and boots for all weather, and friendly staff.

Great Location run in grab what you need for your project and on your way back home.

My favorite farm store. Always buy dog food and dog toys here. Sometimes you can find a good deal on clothing.

The store was very dirty. The floors and the bathroom were both pretty bad. I ordered online, and over 24 hours later we still didnt have any confirmation of the order. So I went on-site and waited in a crazy long line. There was a whole stack of the product we ordered sitting 10 feet inside the front door. I asked if I could go ahead and have my order processed and take the product and the girl was a bit rude and told me not if you dont have a confirmation saying your order is ready. Someone missed the point of online ordering if it is far more convenient to just go into the store and get he product. I mean I still had to wait in the same cashier lines. I am not sure what the point of the online order was. It just took longer and was more time in the store and more work on our parts.

I do enjoy going to this store. Some prices are amazingly affordable, some are not. We buy our kitty litter here, 40 lbs-$9! (For clay) And this Huge bag of crushed corn cob litter (horse bedding) for $5! And we mix it, works very well. We have 5 cats and buy the clay litter twice a month. Our cats seem to like it, no messes outside the litter boxes..unless you count where theyve kicked some out. Either way. We wont go anywhere else to get our kitty litter supplies.

I gave it for because the popcorn machine is back on but I love the store but why are your bathrooms always trash

We went late in the evening after other errands. Store was not busy. I do seem to notice the shelves were less stocked as usual. Unsure if this was new or not since it really was my first trip here in probably 6 months due changes. Young salesperson was back by dogfood and was asking if I needed help. That is always great to know they are around since alot of heavy items but my husband was here so I was just looking around. I was hearing the baby chicks but didnt get back there to see them which I usually do. Store seemed organized as usual and seemed cleaner than normal too. Its good to see that in such a big store. Prices are always reasonable too! West side one is THE BEST due to friendliness staff, helpful and location. Overall better great experience.

Love this store🥰 I feel like Im back home walkin through the towns general store/slash/petting zoo. Its always relaxing and fun. They have everything youll need from clothing to animal supplies and they have some snacks and food as well for u! You wont regret visiting there

The gentleman who helped us was very knowledgeable about the items we were needing. And at the same time was able to help someone else and point them in the right direction and where to look. I will continue to shop at rural king both on Morgan ave and on St Joseph. The atmosphere is always friendly the staff are always easy to find.

I can handle the dirt. I can handle the fact that the place is sparsely stocked and totally unorganized. But I will not abide the fact that you’re management REFUSES to enforce the State and Local Mask Mandate. If you are going to have a policy, enforce it. I won’t be back in your horrible excuse of a store until the pandemic is over or until I hear an apology from you PERSONALLY for your mismanagement. The weight of your honesty, integrity, and care for your community is simply embarrassing. My next call will go to your corporate headquarters.

I love this store but when we first got there I asked for associate if they can help with getting chickens they said someone will be back there shortly. Meanwhile, after I was standing there for 30 minutes husband continued to shop he meets me and we waited another 30mins. So I am really mad because he had to get assistant manager then she was completely confused SEARCHING for a box for another 15mins!!!!

Theres no store better than this hot spot. U can walk your dog have some free pop corn buy a bug zapper some pet supplies plumbing supplies electrical supplies anything Milwaukee tools or that other yellow brand I think dewalts the name. ugh. Serious great place to shop love rural king.

Cant help it its my favorite store. Lots of country stuff and man stuff to see. Got a car battery and some of the root beer they have called Frostop. Its the creamiest best root beer Ive ever had. Never had any of the old root beer my grandpa used to talk about but I imagine this is close.

Love shopping there, they have everything, you would ever want or need. Its my favorite place for plants to.

I can usually find everything I need here and they have a variety of other items that you wouldnt think would be here. Its pet friendly and they even have treats for your four legged friends at the checkout

Always have what Im lookin for no matter if it be hardware, animal supplies, plumbing, automotive, or even seasonal. Prices are relatively reasonable and the employees ate always knowledgeable and friendly. Not to mention it must be a prerequisite of getting a job there (cashiers especially) that you be a beautiful girl, because I dont think they have one there that isnt.

After getting what we came for i looked around and bought herrs tostios and red cactus cheese sauce the bestttt chips ive ever had im buying 3 bags next time and 3 cheese sauce (dip)

I would like to see the prices on chicken feed go down some. We are pretty loyal shoppers.Because of Rick Williams a special truck driver for the company.Its folks like him that keep us coming back, and we tell others to shop there also...

I called the Westside location because the dog food I needed was out of stock at the Eastside location and they pulled it for me, had it up by a register when I got there and even helped me get it in my car!!! Love Rural King!!!

Always clean and organised. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. However, theres always an obnoxiously long line because they only ever seem to have a register or 2 open. Always. Everytime Ive gone.

After COVID-19, this location had been offering online shopping with curb side pick up. We made an offer yesterday and tried to call for hours to see if it was ready. Our calls were literally NOT answered for hours. The next day we called. AGAIN, no answer!! My husband called and even I tried to call at the same time wondering if someone might pick up. So here we sit, at the store. We didn’t want to go in. Isn’t that the point of them offering the curb side pick up?? But we don’t have a choice because no one will answer the phone!!Here’s the thing, this isn’t even the first time it’s happened to us. This exact thing happened a few weeks ago. Why can every other store manage curb side pick up just fine but rural king takes hours to even get the items together??EDIT: THEY SAID THEIR PHONES WERE DOWN. THAT DOESN’T EXPLAIN WHY THE SAME THING HAPPENED WEEKS AGO. ALSO, WE PUT THE ORDER IN AT 5PM AND IT WASN’T READY UNTIL THE NEXT DAY AT 10AM. USE CAUTION IF ORDERING ONLINE AND EXPECTING CURB SIDE PICKUP.
