This is a great store to buy leather and tools. The staff are very knowledgeable, helpful, and show their own leather work which is very cool to see. The prices are the same as online and it was nice to see the leather in person before buying.

This place is amazing! Went here for the first time looking for leather hide to make a motorcycle seat. I was amazed that they actually had the specific unique color I needed in store. The staff were very polite and knowledgeable, assisting me throughout my purchase. Definitely recommend this store for your leather project.

Service was helpful and polite, they had what I needed in stock. They have cheeper options online, but its nice to put your hands on the product to get the right piece and verify quality.

Customer service here is great! Im a novice when it comes to crafting with leather, and I felt nervous and unprepared going into the store, but the staff here put me at ease. They were awesome, they walked me through the types of leathers, dyes, crafting tools, etc...and the price is very reasonable. Im glad I visited.

Nice store, but store feels a little empty. Staff is either in the front or the back and theres no music, so it kind of feels like youre just looking around someones house. That said, they offer a wide variety of leathers, tools, and other leather craft necessities, and the staff is very helpful if you ask them for or about anything!

Great spot for local leather pick up

Fantastic business model - free help and encouragement. I spent 3 hours in there, rediscovering my lost love... If youre over 40 and you ever loved shop class - wall dont run back to Tandy Leather! So many of us, such a great community - and whats better than making something that will be cherished for generations?

This store is a wonderland, and the store deserves 5 stars, but I was there for about 20 minutes looking around and not one employee acknowledged me or asked if they could help me whatsoever. So customer service gets one star from me. Ill change it if the experience is better next time.

Had a really great experience. We went because we were interested in making leather crafts. We were total beginners and had no idea on where to start. We were helped by James, he was super friendly and helpful. He showed us around the whole store and gave us a bunch of helpful tips. He answered any questions we had and made the 1 hour drive from Rockville totally worth it. We will definitely be coming back!

The crew here is very knowledgeable and is always willing to help me make sure I get the right product for the project Im working on. They are also great with answering questions and offering suggestions for different items. The shop itself is clean, well organized, and items are easy to locate.

It was my first visit. They have a huge selection. A mountain of information. I was able to get everything I needed and I cant wait to go back.
