This is the first dealership I went to where they let me test drive the car alone. That’s how it should be done. Other dealerships should take note!! I ended up buying a platinum white pearl 2022 Honda Insight touring trim. The sales person that helped me was Manny and Masieh. Masieh was so passive and informative. Negotiating with him was thrilling. He wasn’t aggressive like other salespeople would be. Manny was very sweet and helpful when I was ready to close the deal on the car. He showed me all new tech this car had to offer and I was amazed. I would buy my next Honda with this dealership! It was such a pleasant experience. I went to 3 other dealerships before doing my business with them. Also the lady in finance was delightful and we shared a couple laughs. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Dealership is awesome very clean and safe distancing was practiced. Free coffee and water 💦 a plus! Waiting room was clean and comfortable. The dealership saved me quite a bit of money by just checking my tires they took them all off tested the pressure and corrected any errors, checked the tread told me I’ll need 2 new tires soon so I’m saving up for them !

Paul was a wonderful salesman. He answered all of my questions. I had called him the entire week prior to purchasing my new Honda SUV. Quick procedures in getting on the lot and walking away with a new vehicle. I would recommend anyone in the Southern California region to get their new Honda at this dealership. How do you charge for filters and still leave this? My wife’s car has been in two times and this wasn’t changed either times? My mother inlaw just had her car serviced and out of curiosity I checked her filter. Dirty… if you do go here double check your filters before leaving. What’s the likelyhood the oil filtered we’re changed 😂😂😂

These guys were awesome! Manny was my salesperson, and he was so helpful. He didnt mind driving about 5 different test drives with me--he even encouraged me to drive one car a second time just to make sure I liked it! He was very patient and understanding, which I appreciated. Plus, after I bought the car, he taught me all the different things about how to do different things on the car (i.e., raise and lower the seat, open the gas top, turn on the lights) because this car is just so advanced compared to my last one (the computer screen on the dash was really freaking me out at first, Im not the most computer-savvy person in the world). Manny even texted me a few days after I bought it just to check-in and see if I had any other questions, which I appreciated (I did--how to lower the seat, and he showed me how, using pictures and simple, clear directions). I was not expecting to buy a car the day I went into their dealership, but they were no-pressure and very patient and kind, and I fell in love with a car and bought it! I got an amazing deal on my trade-in (they beat both CarMax and Carvana, by quite a bit, in fact), and they worked with me to get the monthly payments down where I needed them to be. I am telling all my friends to go there--whether theyre in the market for a used car or a new car, an expensive car or a super affordable car--because the people at Honda of Escondido know what its like (e.g., that were not all rich from crypto trading), and they can help you get into a car you love at the right price for you. At least that was my experience. I recommend them highly.

I asked to have my car washed and I when I got my car they also vaccumed and wiped the inside. :) first time I experienced this on Honda of Escondido. The representative guy was nice as well, I just wish he ould explain what was done to my car and nice to know stuff because I want to learn even basic knowledge related to my car.

I always have a great experience whenever I bring my Honda to be serviced here. I get an honest quote for any service. There have never been any hidden fees nor has anyone ever “suggested” services that my car didn’t need. Last time I visited the service department I asked for a basic check up for an upcoming long distance drive and they looked at all fluid levels, filters, breaks, etc. for no cost. I brought my car in when they opened and they finished checking my car about an hour later. If you need a service that you can make an appointment for I suggest you do that because they’re normally pretty busy.

Jesse was great. He explained all charges ahead of the service. I felt comfortable that Honda was performing the maintenance required and not trying to upsell me on unnecessary service. Waiting room was comfortable and I was able to work on my laptop while I waited. Car wash is always a nice touch!

No one goes into getting a new car with high expectations or making the day enjoyable. In fact, its the opposite. UNITL NOW! We had the BEST experience with Masieh, our Sales Consultant all the way through to Becky, in the Finance department. Everyone treated us with kindness and respect, paying close attention to our time and our needs. The entire trade in process and getting into a new vehicle was painless and actually enjoyable. Honestly, I was really surprised how great the service was here. We got our first lease, and the manager took the time to explain how it works in detail. They didn’t screw around with a lot of “sales tactics “. They just helped me get a new vehicle. The financial process was easy. Then to top it off, they did a thorough training on all my cool new gadgets (most places do a real half-*ssed job with this part). It was the easiest car buy I ever made.

I took my car in because my tire pressure light went on so I wanted to see what was the source of the problem and I took it about three times and they said everything was fine, so I started to assume that the light was maybe broken, all they would do was restart my tire pressure light and the next day it would be right back on. this is when I took it to a tire shop to get the light fixed and they had told me my tire had a tiny hole where the air was slowly coming out and one of my second tires had a nail in it from the back that was also leaking air. I believe this was small problem that couldve been fixed the first time I took it in Honda if they really actually took the time to look at my tire. All they did was turn me back and said everything was okay. When I would go in they would always take less than ten minutes which was very weird because I know it takes time to actually inspect a car. Overall every visit was free but I believe that I couldve been helped but they were just to lazy.

I took my car in for an oil change and needed some software fixed. I threw the documents outlining the work that was done on the passenger seat. I noticed the young lady who brought the car up took out all the protective coverings on the floorboard and drivers seat. When I got home and picked up the documents from the passenger seat I noticed three large black grease marks on the seat. I had just had the car washed and detailed a couple days earlier so I knew everything was spotless. Either someone at the dealer sat on the unprotected passenger seat or placed something like an oily rag there there because it was very noticeable. Luckily I have numerous detailing products including a deep cleaning upholstery cleaner and was able to clean it off. Just a reminder to the dealer to remind their crew to be careful when inside the vehicle. Otherwise I was satisfied with their work.

Even though personnel changes, their Service Department has not--they are always courteous, truthful, quality work, and within the estimated timeframe. This is despite the service advisor checking on me after almost an hour of waiting. Folks who came much later were having their Uber rides pick them up... I had to finally arrange for my own ride.

I came in for an issue with my AC unit in my 2016 Honda Civic and I was helped by Jose. Jose has the care and patience to help me understand what was going on with my vehicle and gave me the best options for my car. He listened, researched the problem and knew what he was talking about it when it came to the situation and was able to relay that information back to me so I felt the most comfortable with what was going on. We bought a Honda Odyssey for our family after having a terrible experience at another dealership. Working with Paul and Massud was a breath of fresh air to us. It was the quickest experience I have had purchasing a car, taking just over 2 hours from getting there to driving away in our new car! The technology they use for going over and signing forms is very useful for the process. I will definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking for a car, and plan on going back myself to get another new car one day.Also a side note, the service center looks very clean and organized, that is impressive.

I scheduled a service appointment for my 2020 Honda Civic for August 2. Two days earlier my low tire pressure light came on. Turns out I had some nails in my rear tire which led to it going flat. So when I arrived to Honda to get it serviced I needed a brand new tire. I was met by advisor Jesse Montiel who took great care of me. He informed me that I would have to leave my car overnight to get the new tire and check the rest of the car just to be safe. My biggest concert was getting back home. Jesse got a Lyft ride to take me back home and he called me as soon as the shop opened up the next morning to let me know my car was ready! He even sent another Lyft to my job to get me and bring me to the shop! It was excellent customer service all around from Jesse and everyone at the shop. Keep up the great work guys!

I researched hundreds of cars and dozens of dealerships before buying my Civic Sport yesterday (yes, I have issues lol). Right now, you will find dealerships advertising a car online for an attractive price only to find out that there are $3-4K in dealer add ons AND, often times now, even a ~$2K market adjustment due to low inventory from the chip shortage. Its a bad time to buy...nonetheless, my experience with Honda of Escondido was spectacular. I started online and yes, my response back was a bit terse compared to the usual - decided to show up and look at the car. Somebody asked me right away if I needed help - I said Im just looking and they left me alone. I know! Crazy! Then when I found the car and decided to test drive, I went in and found my online salesman Paul. He was simply straightforward, no-nonsense, and clearly knowledgeable. Richard came out with the sales figures - no added surprises - and patiently allowed me to grind over two choices - then even leave to think about it with no pressure tactics! Jorge in finance was the icing on the cake - same approach with no pressure, helpful explanations and suggestions, cool technology to complete the deal - it was all a great experience. If you want to play the game with haggling back and forth, long stretches while your salesman talks to the manager, if you leave now this deal isnt guaranteed, and so on, I can give you a list of 32+ local dealers that will play that game instead. Do your research first, then come here and youll know what a great deal you are leaving with.

I got a call from Alberto about a lease trade in offer that the Honda of Escondido was offering. Alberto was super helpful. He answered all of my questions and then some. I went to Honda later that week to trade in my Accord, he was very patient with me and all of my requests. Definitely go see Alberto when you go to Honda of Escondido. Amazing no-pressure experience which was by far the best price in the county. We had been doing business with the sales manger, Alan Borje, at another dealership and when the opportunity arrived to add another car to our family, followed him over.As mentioned, the price was outstanding, but the icing on the cake was the trade-in offered that topped all the well pay you more used car dealerships. I love being treated fairly without all the BS so often associated with buying cars. Although I have to add, it wasnt unexpected from Alan.Our salesman was Masieh, a very well informed, patient and kind guy that made sure we we were making the right choice based on needs. You know what? I dont like to post anything online, because I am a very private person, but I had to make an exception! I purchased my Honda new in 2012! For service Honda/Escondido is my 1st choice, except for on two separate occasions due to unforseen circumstances. Honda of Escondido is extremely professional and trustworthy! My Service Manager David Fybel and his service Team determined a defect that I was having with my car that had to do with tires that I had purchased from Discount Tires in January. The fact that I had taken my car back to Discount 3 separate times but Honda/Escondido was able to diagnose what Discount Tires failed at. Also Paul Najor, gotta love him, because he is the Fleet Dealer. No pressure, but he reminds me that when I am ready to purchase another car, to let him know and I know he will be fair and honest. Anyway, its the small things that let you know the personality of a company and the people they hire to service their customers! I applaud you, and thank you for saving me time and money!! Out of all the greater sd hond a dealers, this one is certainly the best. they covered all my warranty and recall issues super fast, and even paid for my uber ride even though we lived just out of their zone. all the staff are super kind, and finished their work fast! also, their parts prices the cheapest among all the other dealers i called locally. even though theyre farther away from my house, ill still go to them over any other honda dealer.

I called on a weekday after their service dept had closed, so they took a message from me. Then they actually took the time to follow up a couple days later to schedule the appointment (getting a duplicate car key made). Although the price was a little steep ($150), I think itd be the same anywhere - plus it had a fob and not just a key. Todd was pleasant to work with and their customer lounge is very clean. Wifi, variety of coffee drinks, etc. The one bummer was that I wanted to get an air freshener spray, but they said I need a shop invoice...? I dont get why their system is like this considering its not a model specific item. So unfortunately, I have to dock a star for that. Overall, good experience and they even washed the car down before returning it!

They are friendly. You have to play the “game” to buy but that is every dealer.They messed up on the dmv paperwork but corrected their error. I will gladly work with a human who who is willing to make sure that everything works out right.I had to do dmv and AAA trips as well as trips back to the dealership to make sure everything was in order so that was frustrating. They were helpful though. Without the dmv issues, I would have given them a 5 out of 5 for I love my car.

Can’t thank these guys enough!! I took my car to 2 dealerships 3 times for a noise that sounded like sheering metal when I drove. 15k miles I drove with that sound, trying to figure it out to be told it was normal. Today the service team at Honda of Escondido found the problem which was a tiny piece of something stuck up near my radiator and they got it out! I had a silent drive home and I was at peace. They are kind, and fair, and I will definitely be returning again for my services.

Todd was extremely helpful in facilitating repair if my honda civic after I discovered a nail in my tire. I didnt have an appointment, was late for work, and stressed about the discovery. My husband and I leased a car in 2018 and had a very easy pleasant experience starting the lease and were very pleased with the entire staff anytime we came in for service or had a question until we needed information about buying out our lease. I called for information that my bank was asking for and clearly because I wasn’t financing through Honda directly I was treated like dirt. The man who answered in the sales department clearly understood what information I needed but insulted my bank for not knowing in advance and hung up on me when someone walked into his office. I’m very upset that our experience with this dealership had to end in such a way. I may have considered financing through the dealership but after such unprofessional conduct I will never and will suggest that others do not in the future. So rude.

Ive never had such a smooth experience purchasing a vehicle. From every level I was handed off to it all seemed seamless to me. They also have these awesome digital tables to do all of the signing with that really break everything down so you can see exactly what youre paying for.

Great experience with Honda of Escondido and highly recommend. Initial contact was with Tony and he was very responsive in trying to get me the car I wanted at the best price possible. We did get the best price compared to other dealers. At the dealership Paul took care of me and he was really great. Super helpful. Becky in finance was easily the nicest person in that role I’ve ever dealt with. I just bought a car from BMW Encinitas and they could learn a few things about customer service from these guys!!Easy transaction and awesome staff.Thank you!!

Todd saved the day! I had a very poor experience with their service center before, so I started getting my car serviced at the Honda dealership in Carlsbad for a while; however, Todd won me back! He made a situation that started off as a stressful nightmare and turned it into a pleasant one with the best outcome I could have hoped for! The battery in my 2018 Honda Accord suddenly died after it started flashing every possible warning symbol and message on my dashboard as though it was possessed! Since it had only been two years and I had very low miles the situation was extremely frustrating especially since it had to be towed to the dealership because it couldn’t even get jump started!! Of course in my mind I didn’t think it could possibly be the battery since I’ve already had electrical issues with my car and had to have components replaced, so I was dreading yet another visit to the dealer. After making multiple phone calls and speaking with more than one service advisor about my car and informing them Honda Roadside was in route to the dealership with my car, I asked that someone call me to confirm they received my vehicle since it was close to the end of business day. More than one advisor assured me I would receive a call once it arrived. No one ever called of course, but I tried to remain patient and gave them the benefit of the doubt. The next morning, after receiving an email confirming my appointment at 7am, I felt a sense of reassurance but still no one called by 10am to confirm they were working on my vehicle, what the anticipated eta was, who my service advisor was... nada. So once again I called to follow up on the status of my vehicle only to be told that they didn’t know who my service advisor was because one hadn’t been assigned in the system!!! On top of which the email confirmation I received was simply a “place holder,” that didn’t really mean anything and it certainly didn’t mean they were actually working on my car!!!! I was told someone would call me back once they figured out who was responsible for handling my service request. Shortly thereafter I received a phone call from Todd who informed me my keys and paperwork were placed on his desk when my car arrived the night before, but he was already gone for the day! Furthermore, the cleaning crew put my keys and paperwork in his desk so he didn’t wasn’t even aware he was handling my service request until I called and everyone clearly started scrambling to look for it!!!!!! Of course that’s what you want to hear, right??? Although it wasn’t Todd’s fault, the way the situation was handled by everyone from the time my car was towed to the dealership the night before through to my first conversation with Todd was completely unacceptable and reminded me just why I started going to Carlsbad in the first place even though I purchased my car at Honda of Escondido. Todd, however, apologized for the unorganized chaos and assured me he would get the ball rolling and make sure I was taken care of and would be able to pick up my car later that day. He called me throughout the day to provide me with updates, ensured me once the battery was replaced that the technician would run another round of full diagnostics. Given all of the warning messages I had received in my dashboard, including warnings about brake failure that no one expects to see on a two year old car, safety was extremely important to me especially given precious electrical issues I already had the year before. After everything was said and done, Todd came through on his commitments and did what he said he was going to do and when he said he would. He kept me apprised throughout the entire process knowing how frustrated I was from the very start, which was like a breath of fresh air and so uncommon nowadays. In the end, Todd informed me the battery turned out to be defective and was “deader than dead,” but it was covered under my warranty - it was that simple. He didn’t try to jerk me around like other dealerships have in the past so thanks to Todd, my faith has been restored!!

My second visit and the service is really good. First called Honda of Escondido for my concerns and the 2 agents I spoke with were very helpful. I was eventually scheduled for service and was booked under Diana. This is definitely my go to Honda while living here.PS. I appreciate the complimentary uber rides and definitely the car wash (though they could do better drying the car. The water droplets they missed eventually dried and left annoying marks on my windshield and side mirrors. But other than that, service was excellent and will definitely bring my car back for future servicing needs.)

No complaints. Came in for oil change and 100,000 miles tune-up. Fernando and service tech were superb. Additional work recommended for brakes and seal induction, which was all done in same visit. I was very happy from start to finish. I live in San Diego and always take my car to this location. Thanks again Honda of Escondido!
