IMO it is hard to find a mechanic you can trust. My mechanic of over 25 years moved out of San Diego about 5 years ago. He recommended Jason and On Point Automotive. I have been going there ever since. He has worked on all the cars in my family. I have never felt pressured into any repair that was not necessary. This is a group you can trust. Ive been taking both my challenger and Infiniti Qx4 to this place, Jason runs a honest shop, they never tried up selling me once, and always do a good job, the people who work there look like they enjoy working their! I moved down to mission Valley recently and will still be taking my vehicles 30 minutes north to them to perform the maintenance I dont have the time/tools for doing myself. Its hard to find a trustworthy shop I highly recommend this place!

Tanner IS the man. Brought my 04 Mitsubishi Outback, which i thought was my transmission, possible bearing, ball and or joint and differential....... Quoted a possible $800 + or -. Came back to a $480 price, car drives like new! My tire could have fallen off.Im an older woman, 60+, and Tanner took the time to explain everything to me, if though i probably asked a few dumb questions. I’ve been going here for the last several years and I won’t go anywhere else. Both my fleet (20) and personal vehicles go here. Jason the owner has repeatedly proven to be trust worthy in pricing and diagnoses of repairs. Several times I’ve gone in anticipating a large repair and I’m back on the road in minutes with just a “see you next time” instead of a large repair bill. If you’re looking for a long term shop... this is it!! They won’t do anything unless it NEEDS to be done.

If you like great customer service then this is the place to go. Not only did they repair my Honda Pilot in a timely manor at a very fair price, they went above and beyond to fix an issue 2 months later that I indicated they may have caused. Without hesitation, Jason fixed the issue and explained what he felt was the cause, which wasnt what I thought, and still NO CHARGE! I highly recommend Jason and On Point for your auto repair.

Jason and Tanner have both been transparent with their work and price, which I havent received from any other shop. Theyre usually booked up for 3 days so you have to schedule an appointment but thats a sign of how loyal their customers are.
